Chris is an MC who makes jokes for a living. Will is an actor who we all know, inherently, is the comedian type. And indeed, it is a common knowledge to not take comedians serious. Hence, whatever happened between those two comedians should have been seen as a comedy and nothing else. The things happened so fast.

I still can't understand why the too much attention and furore attached to this whole episode though. Even the epic Bianca vs Ebele was seen and dismissed as a "comic relief" by Mr Governor, Soludo.

More so now that we are in a world where most (if not all sef) artistes are fast adopting clout-chasing in order to stay relevant and to keep the audience talking. Davido, Tiwa, Portable, Cuppy, Tontoh are just few examples of those in recent times that have become masters in this tactic...

The owner of the site @Seun is not helping matters. You open a thread these days, all you see is just one or two persons with hundreds of monikers manipulating the thread and sowing hatred through ethic bigotry. My timeline is as follows.
AOR: August 2019
1st PPR: Dec 2020

1st PPR expired: May 2021.
May 25th 2021 came and our 1st PPR expired. It was a sad day. It was even sadder when restrictions were lifted on June 21st 2021 and we got to know that no automatic renewal of PPR but new medicals will be required to be done, meaning our IRCC profile that has been approved will now switch back to processing. At my wife’s insistence again, I agreed that the family do an upfront medical again and that proved to be a smart move.

The PPR re-issuance time line is as follows.
Aug 6 2021 – Remedical for the whole family
Sep 12 2021 – Do you still want to travel mail from IRCC
Oct 19 2021 – New PPR
Nov 1 2021 – New COPR
Landing in Canada: Dec 2021.


My prayer is that it will end in praise for all of us yet in the process. Goodluck and God’s speed.

I am happy you sharing this story so that people can learn from it. it is mine. I am a PR in canada and yes went through a lot fighting for my girls to stay back because they are the major reason i came here. I am also happy and not surprised to read the many comments and diverse views. Indeed it is very easy to judge a situation when one has no idea of the back story.

Like many said, it is indeed true that my poor kids are at the receiving end in all of this. I won't waste thousands of dollars going to court to fight for them if i did not feel unjustly treated. I surely intended to bring them to Canada and informed their dad of my intentions by myself before things went sour.

I relocated for a better life for myself and the girls and i had been their primary parent for 8 years before their return. It was indeed a big change for them to have to return to new primary parents and begin to get used to other people's way of doing things. That is my worry and not the blame game.

But one thing is sure, there is more than meets the eyes. I certainly will not put my kids through untold hardship intentionally. To all readers, whatever you can learn from this story please learn and i am willing to share more from my experience to anyone in a similar situation and does not know what to do. Mistakes are to be learned from.

Reading through your response it's easily deducted that you are a female, and you are not being objective in this matter. Nobody knows and can really tell what went down, the attitude of the man or woman etc. But I believe there would have been a better way to resolve this amicably between both parties than putting those kids on the cross fire.

Honestly, I wanted to react immediately to her post but I decided to scroll down first to see if someone had replied and here you are. I would like to submit that it's quite a pathetic case but for the OP to even take sides without knowing the full story was unfair. I don't even want to judge without knowing why he would act in such a manner. As for the OP accusing the father of denying them a better future and all, I wonder if she had also asked what if the man was indeed super-rich and could have afforded to train the kids without them being taken away from him without his consent.

My point is, it looks as if the man acted in a wicked manner but I still wouldn't want to judge without knowing the entire story of what transpired. Do we even know what caused the separation? It could have been infidelity from either party and it could have also been something else. I am a father too and I love my children so much that if I noticed my wife had betrayed me in the past and now seeking to run away with my children -even doing it to scorn me, my dears I would not deny it, I might act similarly to this man because deep down I know I have given my all to my wife and kids.

As I said, this is quite a depressing end. Marriage is such a complex contract and this is one of its numerous negative fallouts. Instead of genuinely finding a way to fix the crack (not just patching it up) when there's one, we tend to ignore and allow things to fester. May God help us all.. Still, let's desist from judging based on emotions.
