"I started with selling handkerchiefs, then one woman gave me this chair and I took it to the welder and fixed a tyre and and a carrier for my goods and expanded my market. I've had Polio since I was a child but I didn't let that stop me or turn me to a beggar. Thanks to this business I'm married with 2 kids and this business takes care of my family" #HumansOfLagos
If someone with a physical challenge could still find a way to hustle through a respectable route, what is my excuse?

Also, disability is not inability. Kudos to him. Touching thread.

He should dress like a gentleman and walk in on his clutches with Obama-like confidence. Towards the end of his interview he can wrap it with a story of his present situation and how it will soon be history. cool

"I used to sell dried fish but last year on 23rd November I was robbed on my way to buy my market in Ibadan and I didn't have any other money to continue my fish business so I started carrying load(alabaru) for people in Idumota, it's hard work and my body pains me but I take pain medicine everyday. Today is Sunday and there is no market so I sleep here and rest all day and continue work on Monday when market starts. My son is not happy I'm doing this but he just entered polytechnic and can't do anything to help." #HumansOfLagos

Celine Dion seems to be hitting it up here, and it's a very nice choice...as for Johnny Cash, that guys is something else with his guitar, and has even draw admiration from rap legend Snoop dogg. Walk the line is a cool movie which got Reese Witherspoon an Oscar for best actress. As for Tunde oyelana, sorry I don't really know much bout him. Nice list man.
Thanks.

Are you a Yoruba? If yes, and you have seen the Mainframe movie 'Thunderbolt: Magun', you would know the song I mentioned by Tunji Oyelana. It goes like this:

Mo lo sodo, mo roluweri,
O ni ki n wa gbeja, oro eja ko lo n semi,
Mo lo soko, mo roluoko,
O ni ki n wa gbasu, oro isu ko lo n semi,
Mo de 'nu igbo, mo b'oluode soro,
O ni ki n wa gbetu, oro etu ko lo n semi,
Etc.
Etc.
TV/MoviesRe: Which Song Is Your Best Soundtrack You Have Heard In A Movie??? by sholay2011(m): 1:48pm On Jan 25, 2015
'My Heart will go on' by Celine Dion- Titanic

'Mo lo soko' by Tunji Oyelana- Thunderbolt: Magun

All the songs by Johnny Cash (and June Carter Cash) in 'Walk the Line'.

With all these requirements and responsibilities, gaskiya the pay is very low. How on earth can you imagine an ACA holder to accept that? And it's your type that complains a lot about bad government, if you guys are opportune to rule us (which God will never let such happen) the next thing is to annihilate unemployed graduates.

The pay is not necessarily poor but not encouraging with all your specific requirements like the previous poster pointed out. I don't care if it's prior confirmation. Pesin go come resume, una go dey talk say sebi you no specify any particular salary increase after confirmation.

@op, for some reasons I really don't know if I can stand that movie. Besides I really don't digg shailene. I was really glad her scenes were cut out from amazing spiderman.

Back to topic. I prefer mean girls anyday anytime. Pitch perfect would have taken it but it's about college freshers
I actually like her very much: pretty and talented. Dunno why you don't fancy.

Hope you sha dig my favourite: Jennifer Lawrence?

Your explanation is not convincing. I always do the manual and pay 500 naira for registered post using NIPOST and it takes only 5 working days to get there except for Australia that takes one and half week.

You can fill a form in the school to request for electronic copy at a cost of 1k.

As rightly put by Onegig, you are a big boy..
Really? huh?!!!!! Okay sha.

No best.

Different genre of high school movies have come and gone.

We love them for their different flavours.

I usually group them by the actors.

Reese Witherspoon
Lindsay lohan
Keira Knightley
Kirsten Durnst
Julia Styles, etc
I am discussing 'high school movies' as a genre on this thread. And yes, I have seen of the actors you listed above, from 'Election' to 'Mean girls'.

'Spectacular Now' blew me away. I normally don't watch high school movies again but this one is different. No wonder, it won prizes at Sundance film festival where it premiered.

So, what is your best?
TV/MoviesBest High School Movie by sholay2011(op): 11:38pm On Jan 21, 2015
There are a lot of American high school movies I have seen but 'The Spectacular Now' is exceptional. Realistic, not cheesy, heartbreaking, and the performances are fantastic. You feel for these young, damaged characters.

Note: it isn't a love story. Nevertheless, it explores the themes of attraction, naivety, low self-esteem, drinking and family issues. It is an excellent film in my opinion. It's better than 'The Perks of being a Wallflower', another good high school movie.

I recommend it.
