Funmilayoo:Happy Birthday. |
Swagskida:These are suitable courses for you. MSc. Finance. 2 Years. University of Saskatchewan. https://grad.usask.ca/programs/finance.php#Program. |
Biot34:You can make an affidavit. In the event that you are not able to do this, use a lawyer that knows both of you. |
Anthony6098:Yes, this would mean you have honoured the terms and conditions of your admission. |
Pgirl08:You did not provide information relating to the levels of proposed programs (Diploma, AdvDip, Bachelor degree) and durations. Also, you did not provide your qualification, grade and field of study. In the absence of the necessary information, I think the cause with a Co-Op component is good. |
Qre1:Total tuition fee $24,000. Living expenses $10,000. Miscellaneous expenses $3000+ TOTAL: $37,000. With $30,000 secured loan, you need at least $7,000 more. |
Navaroooo:May I ask why you are going? |
Jhules:I think you should send email to them. They are in the best position to give you a satisfactory answer. Meanwhile, May is not too far. Alternatively, you can seek admission in another school as a backup. |
maxio22:You should be as truthful as possible. Although Canada, the UK, the US, New Zealand and Australia share immigration information, the visa decision of one country does not affect the other. For example, because you were once denied visa to the UK for whatever reason does not affect Canada's decision. Canada will decide for themselves. |
Silvaplum:You should secure an admission in a PGD program because your 2:2 will make it difficult to secure master's admission. Suitable programs to go for are: 1. PGC. Business Analytics. Lambton College. https://www.lambtoncollege.ca/custom/LambtonApps/Programs/International.aspx?id=2147527870&location=Mississauga 2. PGC. Business Management. Lambton College. https://www.lambtoncollege.ca/custom/LambtonApps/Programs/International.aspx?id=2147503796 3. PGC Financial Planning and Wealth Management. Lambton College. https://www.lambtoncollege.ca/custom/LambtonApps/Programs/International.aspx?id=2147503710 Aside those stated above, there are still many more. These courses will assist prove career progression. Also, they are related to your discipline. |
Herlymah1295:You need to show the following: 1. Tuition fee $36,000 (2 years). 2. Living expenses $20,000 (2 years). 3. Miscellaneous expenses $3000+ TOTAL: $59,000. (#19,765,000 @$1/335) If this amount of money is not in your account and you have just only one-year expenses with you, the onus is on you to prove beyond reasonable doubts to convince the VO that the funds for the second year will be available and will be provided by your sponsor by either showing investments, business with good cashflow or something more. Apart from this, you must also prove that the sponsor has no responsibility on anyone else and that the funds is solely meant for your study. In order to avoid these provings and explanations, it is better if the total fund is available. |
phrecy:If it's not quoted anywhere, use the first year's as a projection to others. |
Samxx:Due to the study gap bridged by work experience, you should go with the one related to your work experience. Your work experience overrides your academic qualifications. This will be seen as career progression. |
phrecy:You must be able to show the total funds needed for the three years. If you cannot show all, you have a lot of proving to do to show to the VO that you have working source of income to finance the second and third year after showing the first year fund. Because this is difficult to prove, this is why people stick to showing all the funds for the three years. |
Samxx:You may be able to get admission in the following courses: PGC. Insurance and Risk Management. Fanshawe College. https://www.fanshawec.ca/programs/irm1-insurance-and-risk-management/next PGC. Business Analytics. ***This better**** Niagara College. https://www.niagaracollege.ca/business/program/analytics/ PGC. International Business Management. Niagara College. https://www.niagaracollege.ca/business/program/international-business-management/ PGC. Business Management. Fanshawe College. https://www.fanshawec.ca/programs/bmt1b-business-management/next#program-details |
Pprince2:This is a popular course, I will provide just few here: there are still many more. University of New Brunswick. MEng/MSc. Electrical Engineering. https://www.unb.ca/gradstudies/programs/electrical.html Ryerson University. MEng/MASc. Electrical Engineering. https://www.torontomu.ca/graduate/programs/electrical-computer-engineering/ University of Saskatchewan. MEng/MSc. Electrical Engineering. https://grad.usask.ca/programs/electrical-computer-engineering.php |
Pprince2:Please give more details about your qualifications— is it HND or Bachelor degree? What is your grade? |
Herlymah1295:Nothing is wrong in your maternal aunt sponsoring you. Concerning the cost of your study, if you provide more information about your study plan such as total tuition fee, program duration and total number of people accompanying you to Canada, I may be able to give you an approximate value for your cost of study in Canada. |
Reggyiyke:Kindly search here https://www.hotcoursesabroad.com/india/training-degrees/canada/graduate-certificate-diploma/psychology-courses/loc/32/slevel/13-3-3/cgory/h11-3/sin/ct/programs.html |
Reggyiyke:Does she have work experience? How many years of work experience does she have? What is the job role? |
Qre1:Please provide information relating to your study such as total tuition fee, duration and your total budget |
Enitan1998:I think if you have just opened a corporate account with no history, it's better you leave it out and use your personal account. For home tie, it is normal to use personal account to run one's business, all you need to do is to explain, in the absence of evidence of financial/bank history, get letters of reference from your customers or clients, and if you can show tax documents dated back to many years ago, get it: and provide many more evidence to show that your business has been existing for many years. |
Qweency:I think I should first of all differentiate between PGD and Master's. PGD is geared towards practical and entrance to a field while master's is theoretical or research based. Sometimes but not all times, some PGD are equated as master's equivalent. No VO will decide for you on which one to go for in as much as you have a lower qualification (Bachelor, HND, Diploma etc) irrespective of your grade or class. This is why you see people who already possess a master's degree go for a PGD. Not everyone wants theoretical or research knowledge. Concerning your scenario, some universities would accept your three-year bachelor degree for master's if accompanied by years of relevant work experience or you are ready to take some remedial courses. We have heard here about someone who secured an admission into Masters with HND. Nothing is impossible. Be free to pursue PGD even if your bachelor degree is first class. PGD and master's are both post graduate studies. |
Cherishpearl:My advise for you is focus on your career progression. You work experience overrides your academic qualifications. I think you should go for a PGD in Banking, Finance or Financial Services etc. |
superdoll:No, you didn't confuse me, but trying to put words which I didn't say in my mouth, hence, the further explanation. No, you should include an affidavit. |
superdoll:The person mentioned a "letter" and not an "affidavit". I have also edited my answer so as to include an answer to your question. Normally, an affidavit will accompany a letter. For you to call a document an affidavit, it means their is an oath notarized by either a commissioner for oaths or notary public. Commissioner for oaths are also notary public who notarizes an affidavit or declaration. |
Omnisavage:Before I answer your question, let me start by informing you why 1 year study is risky but not impossible to get PR. After your study, you'll get 1 year PGWP if you graduate in a one-year program. To qualify for CEC— one of the Canadian pathways to get PR— which will open the door into receiving an ITA, you must work for 12 calendar months in a job with skill level A, B or C.. If you do not get a job immediately after graduation with a one-year PGWP, there's no way to complete 12 calendar months, hence CEC pathway can't be utilised, although there are other ways. Ways to know; 1. Job prospects. 2. During co-op, you'll know your chances of getting retained. Meanwhile, to be safe, you must have secured an admission in advance irrespective of whether or not you will use it. You have up to 90 days to apply for PGWP, during this time, you can make decision. Better still, close your eyes and enroll in another one-year course immediately after the current one. |
bbwollex:Normally, a letter of sponsorship will be accompanied by an affidavit. Affidavit has been notarized for you to call it an affidavit, hence, no need for notarizing letter of sponsorship separate from affidavit. The court will stamp both documents when notarizing the affidavit. |
Enitan1998:Yes, you're good to go. You should look for admission first. |
Cherishpearl:The first thing to do is surf the internet for answers to whatever question you are requesting for or read from part 1 of this thread; by the time you get here, you'll have been loaded with information. Meanwhile, I will ask you some questions so as to give you more information. 1. When did you graduate? 2. What job have you been working in? |
Merciful96:If the company wishes to sponsor you, tell them to release the fund to you by disbursing into your account and backing it up with a letter of sponsorship. |
Ghazali34:It doesn't necessarily have to be in the same school. If you can get admission while in Nigeria, what makes you think it will be difficult over there? Everything depends on proper planning. If you can afford a two year program, it's the best. |
