blackmaryjane6:Order for GCMS notes. It's basically concerning your POF. You need to do something about it. When GCMS notes come, you'll be able to know the exact cause. |
Ehima77:The fact they want to know is if you truly worked or are working there. Whether it be NYSC or not, the fact is you worked or are working there and got paid or are getting paid. My advice is separate NYSC work experience from the company work experience. |
CHINASTUDY:I think you should let us know your academic qualification and grade, work experience and study gap so as to have the best of advice. PGC. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. RuggedArab:I think the course is too expensive if it's just a certificate and not a PGC. You can find PGD/PGC/PostBaccDip that are also good for applicants wishing to immigrate at cheaper price. |
dangervu:Yes and it's dependent on FX availability |
Charley97:Candidly, it will be difficult to secure an admission into a master's degree program in Canada. The only circumstance when it's possible is if your grade is 77% or more in the last two years or two semesters. If your GPA is not around 77% or more, kindly settle for PGD. There are many PGD/PGC/PostBaccDip courses relating to Computer Science. |

Cannyboy:Some are two years while some are one year programs. You can click on each link to check them one by one. |
Cannyboy:To get you more chances of visa approval, I will advise you stick to your business administration (practical) not in education/teaching because you have spent 10 years practising in the profession. You have no teaching experience if I guess right. Although wishing to switch career is not impossible but you need a strong SOP, reasons and evidence to successfully convince the VO. For courses you may consider: PGD Business Management– Human Resources LAMBTON COLLEGE. https://www.lambtoncollege.ca/custom/LambtonApps/Programs/International.aspx?id=2147503784&location=Toronto PGD Business Management. FANSHAWE COLLEGE. https://www.fanshawec.ca/programs/bmt1b-business-management/next PGD Business Analytics. LAMBTON COLLEGE. https://www.lambtoncollege.ca/custom/LambtonApps/Programs/International.aspx?id=2147527870&location=Mississauga When you say "sure pathway," I hope you mean courses that can guarantee sure pathway to PR. If yes, all the course stated above are PGWP eligible. If you meant courses that are highly in-demand, I will advise you go for IT and Health courses. Since you have business background, I will recommend you go for Data Analytics or Business Analytics because these courses are IT courses and relevant for applicants with business background. PGC. Business Analytics. LAMBTON COLLEGE. https://www.lambtoncollege.ca/custom/LambtonApps/Programs/International.aspx?id=2147527870&location=Mississauga PGC Business Analysis. Cannyboy:I want to ask if you have been working in education line. I also want to advise that your work experience overrides your academic qualifications due to your ten-year study gap. Hence, you should consider a course related to your job experience. This will show career progression. Again, I want to also make you see the difference between Diploma, Advance Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma: when you said you knew you would be going for diploma, I hope you meant PGD, PGC or PostBaccDip even though diploma is not out of options You must show the bank account statement of your sponsor. That is how they'll see the money is available or the source of the money if the money is transferred into your account. |
Stbabe4545:Congratulations |
shankeybee:If you submitted your admission letter and honoured the terms and conditions spelled out in the admission letter, kindly request for your GCMS notes to see the possible cause of this refusal reason. |
Arlanda:In addition to what you have been told about GCMS notes, you can order for it by visiting the link below: https://www.thegcmsonline.com/?wmc-currency=CAD |
Arlanda:While my first advice is to order for GCMS notes, I will ask some questions relating to the points raised above as the reasons for refusing your visa application. 1. What is your status in your current country of residence. What is your status history? 2. Only you can give us more details about this. 3. How financially established are you in that country? Can you work with your status there? |
Ojb555666:No issues in as much as you have explained beyond reasonable doubts in your LOE. |
MsLane:You are very qualified and it's safe. But ensure you enroll in a DLI. |
MsLane:You should stick to one job especially the most recent so we can advise you on what to go for because HR, Customer Care Service and Sales/Marketing are not the same. Whether to go for masters is dependent on your grade in your first degree. If you have 2:1, it may be easy to secure admission into MBA, MSc etc. If you have 2:2, it may be difficult to gain an admission into a masters direct, although it's not impossible: in this case, PGD/PGC/PostBaccDip is your best bet. |

DaCrypto:Friends situation may be different from yours. According to my experience, while PhD Mech. Eng. will also work, it is my belief that MSc CyberSecurity will convince the VO more. Another thing is you should know what you want. Your statement of purpose will do the job. The SOP for PhD will be different from that of MSc CyberSecurity. |
Oremeter:SOP is your only way to explain to the VOs your situation as regards many factors such as Home Ties, Financial Status and Personal Assets, Career or Academic Progression, reasons for wanting to study the course among many others. If it were to be the US visa, for example, you would be called for an interview, but Canada does not do interview: SOP is your only way to convey your message. |
DaCrypto:I will first ask, when did you graduate from your MEng.? 1. Not necessary. 2. You can go for a PhD in Mech Eng. or related course if your chances of getting admission are high considering your grade and year of graduation. 3. Your work experience overrides your academic qualifications considering your years of relevant work experience as a CyberSecurity professional. You could go for CyberSecurity. Lack of career progression is when you don't do things that will likely contribute to your promotion in your career. Going for CyberSecurity is a career progression. Your work experience is your new reality. Your educational qualification doesn't define you as you have not been practising Mechanical Engineering. Lack of academic progression is doing things that do not relate to your prior academic field. This is against those who don't have job experience at all and want to go for a course of study that is entirely different from their former education. This does not concern you because you have some years of work experience. Kindly let us know the last time you studied (year of graduation of your MEng.) |
RothimyZ:Please use your debit card and pay in USD instead. The USD equivalent is $9.77. The limit set on your debit card is $20 per month. This will work if you haven't used up your monthly $20 FX allocation. |

Ola76421:TABLE OF CONTENT. 1. BANK ACCOUNT STATEMENT page 2. 2. SOP page 3. 3. Fixed Deposit Certificate page 4. Do alignment and justification to your texts/fonts as they do in normal table of contents in many of the books we do read. |
Hollar111:It's almost impossible to get admission into a master's degree program with a 2:2. You can try though, but I must advise you don't want to be spending $100+ application fee especially when you know your chances are slim. You may qualify for PGD programs. |
Teemenzo:While I appreciate your contribution here, I will not allow you to insult me and think your opinion is always the right one. I believe if you read my post again and understand each sentence, you may understand better: perhaps I may be able to further make you open your eyes to see positive things therein. 1. Hypotheses are intelligent guesses. Perhaps you don't understand they don't have to be true always and they don't have to be false always. 2. I never said that is how VOs do reason because I used the word "may". Sure, if I can reason that way, VOs too may reason that way too. A visa applicant have to ensure (s)he makes his/her application tidy from all sides by reasoning that way 3 In the first and last paragraph of my response, I analysed and made reference that it's possible though but with a strong LOE which your unnecessary response also corroborates. You failed to see the part where I said the applicant needs to address the issue with strong LOE and that it's possible that an applicant can change institution and course. I will still make my point known, you must provide strong LOE if you change course and institution in your reapplication. I don't work and believe in 50/50 chances. Perhaps that's the difference between the two of us. I do take responsibility for my failure if faced with it and not blame it on 50/50 chances. Also the bolded in your response is too hash, unpleasant and unnecessary. You may want to check and review it. You should know this thread is for everyone to share opinion and not for you and your idea alone. If you have something against me, you should address it, rather than conveying your bitterness through this means. Also, I want to make you understand Canadian Visa Permit process is not totally on luck but your handiwork. If luck will play a part, it can't be more than 5% and the rest 95% is your handiwork. If you don't get something right, it means there is something you are not doing right and not 50/50 chances luck playing out, although there is mercy of the Lord. |
Iamgrac:They have approved your Form A request and want to make disbursement and you have been put in a queue. At this stage, you must be persistent in disturbing them. |
sodmad:You have to provide a strong LOE to address this action because you have conveyed messages like: 1. You don't know what you are doing. Didn't you reason about he cost in your first application? 2. You don't even know the course you want to study. Why did you choose the first course? How come are you changing your course now? Apology for the above numbered hypotheses, the questions and comments numbered above are not for you to answer and not to insult you. They are just hypotheses to let you see how VO or other people may reason. Although there is no problem changing schools due to tuition fee difference, but it'll be reasonable if it had been in the same course as it will show you are actually determined on pursuing the same course and goal. |
sodmad:Yes, you can but with good explanation. I will like to ask some questions about your wish to change it if it hasn't expired due to either deferral, admission revocation or something else. 1. You want to reapply with a different LOA from the same institution and/or the same course? 2. Why do you want to change your initial LOA other than for the reason of its expiry? |
Samtob4life:The secret is to disturb them. Make unpleasant comments on social media especially on Twitter about their service and how they are about to jeopardize your future ambition as there is a deadline for the payment: after unrelenting tries, they'll reach out to you either through phone call or by DM: they must answer. Amidst "no FX from the CBN," they are still disbursing to some few who can disturb or have a kind of influence. |
