Lol. Awujale got the second visit after the Alaafin of Oyo lol.

To all the illiterates and ignorant folks who love arguing - the Ooni of Ife just displayed true history without speaking about it. That is how you know a true Yoruba King with knowledge of history.

Proud of the Ooni of Ife - a true Ife royalty with knowledge of history and bridge builder.

you have said it all.All we want is 'are the Igbos not surpassing us?' Once it's so we wouldn't care for distinction.
Lmao. These folks care too much about Igbos rather than focus on what we do best.

We're at least 100 years ahead of Igbos in term of progression, competing with Igbos is basically like dragging yourselves down, hence Yoruba state are 100 years backward. If all we can boast of are basically what Yorubas in the late 19th century and early 20th century built - then we have to be the most redundant people out there. We're better off competing with ourselves than Igbos.

Is Madagascar in East or South Africa?
I don't have time for inaccurate propaganda pictures. Post the geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude) of Madagascar and I'll tell you where it belongs.

Let me ask you a question: are Senegal, Togo, Cape Verde, Ghana, Gambia et al in the Western Hemisphere based on real geographical coordinates - YES or NO? If you can an answer to that - you'd know where Nigeria belongs.

Geographically, Nigeria is in the North of the African continent. In reality this is the non political map of North africa
Stark illiterate, if you actually do proper geographical measurement of Africa - you'd see that Nigeria is in West Africa cos the Nothern part of Africa is far bigger than the Southern part of Africa.

That's the same propaganda Europeans post everywhere by making Africa look smaller than it actually is in pictures, when in reality it is by far the biggest continent. And the same propaganda they used to cutting the Middle East out of Africa, when the Middle East used to be part of Africa on all old maps.

PoliticsRe: "The Economist" Accuses Buhari Of Worsening Nigeria's Economy by Shymm3x: 8:08am On Jan 29, 2016
grandstar:
As a practical econmist. the following should be done:

1. Devalue the Naira. Allow it to float. Let it find its true vslue.

2. End the import restrictions on the 41 products excluded from the CBN window.

3. Slash import duties. High import duties simply rncourage smuggling.

4. Lift all import bans. Same reason as above.

5. Slash company tax to 18%.

6. Pay the monthly allocations to the 3 tiers of government in dollar certificates. This will end the persistent excess liquidity and also lead to a massive slash in inflationary pressure and interest rates

7. And so on
How sure are you that if the naira is allowed to float - it will peak between N230-250? Do you understand what floating is, vis-a-vis how volatile the Nigerian economy is at the moment? The whole thing is neither here nor there and I'm sure the Nigeria is far worse than it is on the surface - and allowing the naira to float might lead to hyper-inflation.

Sometimes you just have to provide cover till you can find a cushion somewhere. So I'd rather they keep it fixed for now and see if they can get the necessary cushion. And due to dwindling oil prices, they can't tag it with oil.

Folks need to worry more about ludicrous budget and all the asinine welfare policies, especially when the country needs to cut government spending.
PoliticsRe: THE ECONOMIST Tags Jonathan As "An Ineffectual Buffoon" by Shymm3x: 1:18am On Jan 29, 2016
Lmao @ ineffectual buffoon. grin

But why compare GEJ to a buffoon? I've met a few buffoons in my lifetime and they're far much more mentally developed than GEJ. Then again, I guess that was why whoever labelled him such, had to add "ineffectual" to it, just to make it sound complete. grin

Also, the person who wrote the article for the Economist must either be a yank or a black person cos Brits seldom use "buffoon" and both Economist and Financial Times are British newspapers.

I don't blame them it is the mentality of "we know you're going to steal just work for us".... telling me to appreciate someone who was voted in by the masses and is also being paid handsomely for a job he's not doing well....
Lol. Don't mind the clowns. They get paid and the money they spend is the commonwealth of the people...so why can't they perform? No excuse whatsoever. The funds they expend in paying all these blinkered rats all over the internet and publicity can fix a lot of problems. When you are an achiever - ya achievements will speak for you without noise making by spamming lousy and mediocre projects all over cyberspace. An eye test alone shows that the projects are substandard and mediocre. So what is the point?

They better start begging Lagos to start sending new projects/investments to the state, just to give it a facelift and help it in creating wealth - cos the state is a disgrace. Ogun must be cursed with terrible leaders to look the way it looks in 2016. Based on eye test alone - it might be the worst Yoruba state in terms of infrastructures.

Lol. These obtuse loafers and paid hacks know better than to question my Yorubaness cos they all know I'm more Yoruba than they will ever be. Being Yoruba is about being ingrained in the virtues of the Yoruba ancestors who placed priorities on excellence, hard work, and creativity - not mediocrity and lack of achievements.

The only thing these folks are good for is waving non-existent and castrated dycks with Igbos about which of the two regions is more backward. Apart from that, they're just as useless as the walking utter failure of leaders they exalt.

Ogun state is a disgrace. I've been trying to collate pictures of the state for weeks now and there's absolutely nothing presentable to post from the state. Heck, even Ondo and Ekiti are far ahead of the state in terms of infrastructures. And as bad as Ibadan is, it's light years ahead of Ogun state. Yet this clown is posting pictures of lousy projects and companies.

Based on how decent the architecture of the old buildings in Abeokuta looks - I'd even wager that Ogun state in 1920 when those buildings were still new should be better than what it's today. Yet the state like all the other Yoruba states are swimming in an ocean of debts. It's just shameful and pathetic.

Shut ya gob before I smack the amala that corroded ya brain cells out of ya putrid mouth. Ogun state is an effing disgrace to all Yorubas - dead and alive. That's meant to be a state next to Lagos and a state occupied by two of the most prominent Yoruba subgroups that have produced arguably the most prominent Yoruba sons and daughters, yet the darn state still looks like it never left the 1920s.

Take a look at the Egba part, and Abeokuta that's meant to be the capital of the state here: http://www.viewphotos.org/nigeria/images-of-Abeokuta-440.html Don't even let me post pictures of the Ijebu part of the state that was posted in the culture section last year, cos that's even far worse than Abeokuta. Even Ekiti looks better than Ogun. grin

Is that something to be proud of? You lot are just so ridiculously dumb and stupid that you can't see how effed up you're and you revel in lauding mediocrity and non-achievements. Lol. They got that vicious wordplay from Yoruba women. You know when you're dealing with women with razor mouths, you just have to take it a notch higher, to be able to match the venom. Coupled with the fact that this is the hip-hop generation and everything has "no limit" like Master P. So if you want to go it at it, it's either you go hard or go home. Oh, Cynthia? I know Toolz didn't call them out but I'm saying she's the originator of the gist. If she didn't tell Gbemi about the solicitation of invitation cards, we wouldn't have heard anything. She actually went on twitter to reply Gbemi too...

As for the brothers, if I ever see those boys in public, I will pick up my skirt and run the other way. I can't lie, I’m already afraid of them. I hail the sistehs that are dating them, whoever they may be.
Err, even if she's the "originator" of the gist - the fact that she didn't send for them exonerated her from the madness. At the end of the day she didn't ask Ms. 3XL cheekbones to broadcast the news and throw stones. Once you throw stones, there's no point hiding ya hands - you just have to be responsible for the consequences that come with it. That comes with the territory. grin She nuked their self-esteem and I'm sure they won't be attending any wedding ceremony any time soon and if they do, they will probably start taking the invites everywhere to show people. grin

Well, that's the essence for clapping back. The chic is going to start watching her mouth henceforth. And other trifling loose mouthed chics are also going to stop sending for them and they'll know that there are consequences involved. In short term, there'll be backlash from pseudo-sophisticated folks about how they reacted. But cos folks have short memories - they'll win on the long run and reckless talkers will start watching their mouths. And they're already winning now as well cos they need any type of publicity (good and bad) for what they do.

Oga, I don't care about what they do for a living. I was only responding to the other guy that quoted me.

Character assassination, you say? Puhlease!! If you read the rants well, you will see that even they have owned the 'wedding crashing' title. Dude said he woke up to 100 missed calls. How did his 100 loyalists decode that they were the ones being subbed if indeed, party crashing is not in their character?

It's obvious what happened here na. Toolz told her girl the story of how they asked for wedding invite. So it's not as if what Gbemi said wasn't true. The issue, is she should have stayed on her lane and minded her own business instead of going to put it out there on social media.

In answer to your question, NO! It is not okay for Gbemi to have done what she did. But if you don't see anything wrong with the content of the brothers' rants and you choose to call it 'reciprocating the gesture', then i'm sorry, but i cant help you. What she said, albeit true, was totally unnecessary, even if she didn’t mention names. However the level they descended to to make their point was way too low. Ah ah! It could have been a quick two or three-lined comeback but they wrote epistles about her anatomy; both seen and unseen, her perceived financial status... I went through the brother's  instagram page and watched those horrible videos and I just kept thinking “This guy is a psychologist??” Casually throwing around allegations of child abuse and sexual problems, battering at her self esteem like he wants this Gbemi girl to become suicidal all because she mentioned something that actually happens to be true.

Yes, you can never predict how someone would react to your insults, direct or indirect... But if you, the insulted, now decide to act like the lowlife you were insinuated to be, then you’ve lost both ways. To put this in context, lets just say if they're both trash, Gbemi is recyclable bottles and cans… these id!ots are rotten beans that you forgot to throw out of your lunch bag... effers gon stink up the whole building. You gotta throw them out with the container sef!”

The most interesting thing remains how Toolz isnt being called out after the outright admission that she is the one who let the cat out of the bag about the soliciting of invitation cards. Is she untouchable as they also wish to attend her wedding and don't want to offend her?? Very interesting show of cowardice. #Just saying
It's character assassination. I think everyone is guilty of attending parties they're not directly invited to, at one point or the other in their lives. Personally, I'm not the party type, but I know most summers I do attend one or two weddings with my uncles, cousins, brother, or friends I'm not invited to. They know the people and when they ring me to come with them...if I'm not busy, most times I just ask them about the type of crowd that will be there. And cos I meet some of the best chics at weddings - I just tag along to go look for chics. It's just normal. Now you've got folks who're socialites and based on their fields (according to their instagram: one is a politician, while the other is into relationship counselling) - they obviously need networking and publicity, with their faces everywhere. So it's more or less a hustle for them. For her to call them out unprovoked on social media in public glare (she also has tens of thousands of followers on twitter) for their lifestyle is basically character assassination. That was a low blow and they have a right to respond. And once it gets to that - you can't fault folks for whatever method they choose cos all is fair in a war.

Apparently, this isn't the first time folks said shyte about them and it seems they've had enough. And when people are pushed to the wall - they become unpredictable. From the hilarious videos the younger brother posted on instagram - you can see that the chic crushed his ego. grin grin grin How do you expect a wounded lion like that to respond? grin

Toolz didn't call them out - the other chic with 3XL cheekbones did. Heck, she also allegedly tagged/replied someone that called the younger brother a quack psychologist, after throwing the shade. All unprovoked. So she was definitely asking for it and they gave it to her on steroids. I'm sure after this - she's going to start watching her mouth. grin

But don't lie, those guys go hard in the paint, alie?

According to the Instagram rant, they are all from Ondo. "....I am the Grandson of the most prominent Ondo state politician of his time, Frontline Politician Education Minister in the First Republic alongside RA Fani Kayode aka Fani Power, TOS Benson, Festus Okotie Eboh, Alfred Rewane, Anthony Enahoro, SL Akintola, Oba Akran, Kola Balogun, just to mention but a few, and Great Grandson of the Otun Egba of Abeokuta....."

Lol! Bye!
Why do you care about what they do for a living?

And what's wrong in clapping back at a loose mouthed idiot who called them out in public glare unprovoked? When did it become a crime to defend yourself against character assassination? Even if they're wedding crashers and social climbers (they don't even look like the type), what's her business? Oh, it's okay for her to chat shyte unprovoked, but it's a crime for them to reciprocate the gesture, no?

Hii bro, happy new year

I just knew I would see you on this thread lool
Happy new year, my Ijebu sister.

I hope you're not like these other owanbe Yoruba chics that act like market women and talk reckless all the time? grin That shyte is so unattractive. A lot of these chics need to learn how to talk and also mind their business.

Anyway, "Olumofin" is a such a beautiful name and these guys are legends. Real Yoruba dons.

I just found out that they were the ones who put Yoruba nyggahs on the map with this picture below:

I like these guys already. grin

This ode still has not grown up....
Lol. This village and stiff Igbotic nyggah, what has being a "grown up" got to do with having fun and laughing at hard punchlines? So, in ya warped mentality, it's alright for a fugly scandalous sket suffering from acute "monkeynization" (I like this word lol) to throw shades at two brothers having fun and living the life. But not cool for them to clap back, no? If they decide to slap some senses into her for talking reckless and not minding her business, you lot would start calling them weak woman beaters. However, rather than do that - they decided to do the war of words. Yet you lot can't let them be. grin

In as much as I probably would've ignored her if I were in their shoes cos I don't really like being center of attention in my private life and I could care less about what inconsequential folks have to say about me. I live for this moment on social media, hence I follow 50cent cos I know he's always going to attack someone, post something funny, or post some hysterical memes. Shyte, I just love laughing.

Anyway, if you can take time out of ya village square to read their timeline - you'd see that those guys have been pushed to the wall. I guess that's they responded this time. Everyone has different level of endurance and there's no crime in clapping back, regardless of gender. All that "real" and "grown" men crap is for the birds - this is 2016, men and women are equal. Chat shiit and get smacked. grin

Lmao.

I can't believe I went on instagram to read the posts. Shyte, I had to click likes on all the posts. grin

Darn!! This nyggah goes hard and he has swag - flee Yoruba nyggah. This is what you call "clap back" by nuking a sket and destroying her self-esteem.

Some Yoruba biitches just don't know how talk and every time they open their mouths, nothing comes out of it apart from idiocy. Erm, let me check: I've met two Ondo chics and they sure have bad breath. So this nyggah ain't lying - bad breath must be an Ondo girls thing. grin

Classic ether + take over - this nyggah goes hard. I can't lie, I'd pick up some punchlines. Monkeynization and 'Roman Imperialism' with a tint of Fake Superior Complex - bwahahahahahaha. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
