Who's this guy and why's everyone spouting devaluation everywhere?

Is devaluation going to fix the messed up economy?

I honestly don't think a lot of these folks understand floating cos with how messed up Nigeria's economy is and also how depleted the foreign reserves are - the inflation that will bamboozle the Nigerian economy would make Yao Ming look like a dwarf.

Better keep the artificial rates for now till you can find a cushion or something tangible to peg the naira to. The market is too volatile, ditto the economy that's in abyss - to risk floating - especially for a country like Nigeria that's heavily dependent on only oil for its forex.

With all the disgraceful Yoruba monarch disrespecting their traditional stools by bowing to Booharry - I don't see a renaissance. I can only see further decline into perpetual slavery.

This is the worst generation of Yorubas. grin
PoliticsRe: Yoruba Obas Squatting To Snap With Buhari (Photo) by Shymm3x: 9:26am On Feb 03, 2016
The worst generation of Yoruba strikes again. These folks just have no shame whatsoever.

I don't even know what's special about the BooHarry clown that folks have to disregard a tradition that has existed for eons to take a selfie with him. I'd be ashamed to even take a selfie with a clueless and non-achieving clown like Buhari. This is what happens when folks worship personalities - and not achievements.

Apart from the cringeworthy commentary - this has to be the most primitive and funniest video of aerial attack I have ever seen. Are these people for real? Looool

I'm sure BH folks were also laughing their arses off after the nonsense.

Never been to Newport news lol

Yea. Ukrainian for example is very close. Just a different dialect. I think Polish is another category entirely however. I learnt Farsi in a CIA bunker somewhere in the middle east cool . I was about the lead a kill or capture mission of some mullahs. We didn't get the green light so we had to cancel the operation cry

I minored in Foreign languages. Farsi and Arabic. Use to be an interpreter.

No Far East languages at all. Japanese is lovely thou
Lol. If you've never been to Newport News, then you can't speak "the streetz" then. I need to get ya arse there and get you on that supreme language. See with me, every time I visit a new city - the first place I always hit is the hood cos hood nyggahs are the real V.I.Ps of every city and they can get you any(every)thing if ya money is right lol.

Polish is also very close. A lot of them speak Polish as well. But it seems they all speak Russian tho.

Lmao @ CIA bunker. You know CIA don't want problems with the Mullahs, especially with Gen. Qassem Soleimani still alive/kicking and still leading the almighty Al Quds force lol. The man that scares the hell out of Mossad and CIA lol.

Nice. It is great to speak foreign languages, especially the non-Latin and non-Germanic ones. It gives you a better understanding of the world. I like Farsi, Mandarin, and Swahili.

I was talking about Fairfax not Ibadan. Ibadan is a cake walk cool

A little (Russian). Even thou I spent few semesters There. Just the general words nothing too deep I will say 20% ish fluency ( I mentioned this before yes?)
Lmao @ Fairfax. Won't be surprised if you were to cite Langley as well. But can you move in the real streets in Newport News? Loooool.

Hmmm. Interesting tho. A lot of the Slavic languages are more or less intertwined. If you can speak one, the rest won't be a problem.

Err, how did you learn Farsi without living in Iran? It is also interesting that you can't speak any of the Far East languages - not even Japanese or Korean, no?
EducationRe: Nigerian Girl Who Speaks 5 Foreign Languages At 22 by Shymm3x: 9:32pm On Feb 01, 2016
Missy89:
Of course i cant. I dont trespass if i am not in my city.
Lol. So when you're outside Ibadan, you become a mug and keep everything online, no? Loooool.

You can't be that soft with all ya training routines - you need to toughen up a bit and learn the streets lol.

Can you speak any Slavic/Euroasian and Far East languages?

The street is now online. In deep dark chatrooms. No point going the Antwerp or Paris anymore cool

Well I am not a spy tongue.
Only fluent in Arabic, Spanish and Farsi.
Lol. The streetz can never come online cos the big brother is always watching...so you have to leave the streets in the streets. Err, I was alluding to if you were to find yourself in any of these cities and you need to hit the ionosphere zone - can you speak the language that will get you to the "no go zones" in these cities? grin

You don't need to be a spy to do an "Italian job" - you just need the temperament and the requisite skills to pull it off.

Anyway, Arabic is generic these days cos it's very easy to learn and most Muslims can speak Arabic. Most yanks speak Spanish as their second language, anyway. But I'd rate you for Farsi though. That's a great language to learn.

Stoner lingo, Farsi etc etc wink Learning Chamorro
Lmao @ Stoner lingo. But I doubt you can speak "the streetz" tho. Can you hit the grimey parts of Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Antwerp at night and ask for an "O" of zoot? grin

Farsi sounds interesting. Chamorro won't get you anywhere, not even for espionage lol. But good to know you're learning. What other languages can you speak? I might have a decent "Italian job" for you. tongue

Lool. Now, Missy, is on something.

Don't tell me you only speak the generic: French, Spanish, Italian, German blah blah blah.

Lol. Since the excerpt in bold has disappeared from the Church - more reason why it isn't my type of place. The only thing the Church is good for these days is to pick chics. I get am before..lol

In what area are Yoruba far ahead ...maybe omo nile and owo da

I agree
In as much as you sound like an illiterate troll, I'd educate you a bit.

My point is that: when you're a far ahead of someone, you don't need to look back - you just need to keep running ya own race. When you start looking back, it will make you slow down and that's what causes mediocrity. The whole competing with Igbo madness only benefits Igbos cos they're ones looking up and playing catch up - it doesn't benefit Yorubas.

The western region never competed with Igbo - the bar was proving the white man wrong, hence those from that era achieved what they achieved. While this generation is too focused on Igbos and other backward groups in Nigeria - hence most Yoruba states are stuck in the early 20th century. Yorubas and Igbo don't belong in the same bracket in terms of progression and we don't need to compete. Yorubas just need to focus on being Yoruba.

Exactly.'Awo this,Awo that' is their usual mantra. The same Awo they formulate all sorts of stereotype against his tribe. The same tribe that gave them a huge sense of pride by churning many outstanding people one could boast of.

Funnily, some silly ones among them would say 'Ijebu o ki nse yoruba gidi'(Ijebus are not original yoruba) but they often highlight the prominent sons and daughters of these so call 'sub-yorubas' while debating with other tribes.

Are these not an height of hypocrisy?
Lol. Don't let them label you an "Ijebu Supremacist". grin But I get ya point and it's always better to ignore those who chat shyte.

I'm sure a lot of them don't know Yoruba names that are quintessential Ijebu names. If they do, they'd be shocked that a lot of the names they tout are Ijebu folks. As someone who has a database of high flying Yoruba folks in diaspora in different fields - I think a lot of these folks need to say a big "thank you" to Ijebu folks for putting Yoruba on the map everywhere.

I know you don't know a soap drama called BEWS MASQUERADE.... it has been on since early 80s ..you might have not been born then
There used to be a character called JEGEDE SOKOYA and ZEBRUDAYA NWOBODO

JEGEDE was always bragging and this character epitomises the Yoruba

If I may ask...how are Yoruba far ahead of igbo

Pls be specific In what area ? Is it education , economy or human capacity

Now you have started again calling igbo instead of looking at how ogun state is badly run

Igbo the nemesis of the Yoruba
Are you dyslexic?

Even if you mentally incapacitated, you should be able to check where Yorubas were 200 years ago in terms of progression and compare it to Igbos. Once you do that - you'd know that Yorubas of this generation are the most backward in the history of Yorubas.

And the reason for their backwardness is cos they stay competing with Igbos who're so beneath them. When you mess with a pig in the pigsty - you'll also get dirty.

Who even gave you that duke of Ijebuland title. loool
Lol. The most lives in/through me but I don't think I need a Church to establish a relationship with him though. The Church is a white man's thing and not really for the original black man. I can go to Church, but it won't add anything to my life, if I'm being honest. You can argue for the family bond Church creates, that's where it ends. Even white folks who own the religion don't go to Church anymore, yet they're doing fine collectively - while black folks who attend Churches regularly are as backward and treacherous as ever collectively. grin

Join the choir yano lol. Unless you want me to check all the chics in the Church choir cos the last time I was a tad active in the Church, I was the papi chulo of almost all the chics my age and a few ones a bit older than me. grin

That reminds me, we used to have the house fellowship thingy at my house back when I was growing up. Looooool. That was the same thing I was telling "Ilekeh" last week that I don't wear sandals - never had one, and I don't think I'll ever wear it. But I don't knock folks who wear them, cos it's normal in places with hot weather and fvcking Arabs wear sandals even during winter. grin

Anyway, the sandal looks gay but trust naija folks to get all defensive when folks don't see things their way. Yet they're the most judgemental folks out there.
