STRAIGHTEN THINGS OUT, FORGIVE & ENJOY GOD’S BEST

I remember being at a meeting where there were some people tarrying for the baptism—seeking for cleansing, for the moment a person is cleansed the Spirit will fall. There was one man with eyes red who was weeping bitterly. He said to me, “I shall have to leave. It is no good my staying without I change things. I have written a letter to my brother-in-law, and filled it with hard words, and this thing must first be straightened out.” He went home and told his wife, “I’m going to write a letter to your brother and ask him to forgive me for writing to him the way I did.” “You fool!” she said. “Never mind,” he replied, “this thing is between God and me, and it has got to be cleared away.” He wrote the letter and came again, and straightway God filled him with the Spirit.

I believe there are a great many people who would be healed, but they are harboring things in their hearts that are as a blight. Let these things go. Forgive, and the Lord will forgive you. There are many good people, people who mean well, but they have no power to do anything for God. There is just some little thing that came in their hearts years ago, and their faith has been paralyzed ever since. Bring everything to the light. God will sweep it all away if you will let Him. Let the precious blood of Christ cleanse from all sin. If you will but believe, God will meet you and bring into your lives the sunshine of His love. (Smith Wigglesworth)

CAN YOU REALLY BELIEVE GOD?

All the impossibility is with us when we measure God by the limitations of our unbelief. We have a wonderful God, a God whose ways are past finding out, and whose grace and power are limitless. I was in Belfast one day and saw one of the brethren of the assembly. He said to me, “Wigglesworth, I am troubled. I have had a good deal of sorrow during the past five months. I had a woman in my assembly who could always pray the blessing of heaven down on our meetings.

She is an old woman, but her presence is always an inspiration. But five months ago she fell and broke her thigh. The doctors put her into a plaster cast, and after five months they broke the cast. But the bones were not properly set and so she fell and broke the thigh again.”

He took me to her house, and there was a woman lying in a bed on the right hand side of the room. I said to her, “Well, what about it now?” She said, “They have sent me home incurable. The doctors say that I am so old that my bones won’t knit. There is no nutriment in my bones and they could never do anything for me, and they say I shall have to lie in bed for the rest of my life.” I said to her, “Can you believe God?” She replied, “Yes, ever since I heard that you had come to Belfast my faith has been quickened. If you will pray, I will believe. I know there is no power on earth that can make the bones of my thigh knit, but I know there is nothing impossible with God.” I said, “Do you believe He will meet you now?” She answered, “I do.”

It is grand to see people believe God. God knew all about this leg and that it was broken in two places. I said to the woman, “When I pray, something will happen.” Her husband was sitting there; he had been in his chair for four years and could not walk a step. He called out, “I don’t believe. I won’t believe. You will never get me to believe.” I said, “All right,” and laid my hands on his wife in the name of the Lord Jesus. The moment hands were laid upon her and she cried out, “I’m healed.” I said, “I’m not going to assist you to rise. God will do it all.” She arose and walked up and down the room, praising God.

The old man was amazed at what had happened to his wife, and he cried out, “Make me walk, make me walk.” I said to him, “You old sinner, repent.” He cried out, “Lord, You know I believe.” I don’t think he meant what he said; anyhow the Lord was full of compassion. If He marked our sins, where would any of us be? If we will meet the conditions, God will always meet us, if we believe all things are possible. I laid my hands on him and the power went right through the old man’s body, and those legs, for the first time in four years received power to carry his body, and he walked up and down and in and out. He said, “Oh, what great things God has done for us tonight!”

“...What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them” (Mark 11:24). Desire toward God and you will have desires from God, and He will meet you on the line of those desires when you reach out in simple faith. (Smith Wigglesworth)

DON’T PROVOKE YOUR ANGEL WITH WRONG WORDS

In the first chapter of Luke we find another account of an angel being provoked. And there appeared unto him (Zacharias) an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense. And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him. But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard, and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth. For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb. Luke 1:11-15

Zacharias and his wife, Elizabeth, had prayed for a son for years. Then God sent His angel to tell them their prayer was heard and would be answered. God gave this message for Zacharias: "Rejoice because your prayer is heard and your wife is going to bear a child!" Yet Zacharias didn't believe. Notice how Zacharias responded to this good news: And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years (v. 18).

In other words Zacharias was saying, "How do I know you're telling me the truth? How can I be sure you're not lying to me?"
And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stands in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings. And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not be able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season (v. 19,20).

Zacharias had provoked an angel-not just any angel, but Gabriel, the Angel of the Lord!

I am convinced that angels are assigned to see that the prophecies given in the Word of God come to pass. Psalm 103 says the angels excel in strength and do His commandments. Angels do not have the right to choose their own words. They must speak what God tells them to speak. When the Word of the Lord came to Gabriel concerning Zacharias, he was quick to relay the good news. But Zacharias, in a mild form, provoked Gabriel with his unbelieving words. Gabriel knew unless he could stop Zacharias from speaking doubt and unbelief, it would not come to pass. So Zacharias was struck dumb for nine months. The angel knew the power that a man's words carry, so he acted in order to prevent Zacharias' words of doubt from interfering with God's plan.

It would be better for some businessmen if they were struck dumb for three or four weeks while they are working on an important business deal. A few wrong words of unbelief can destroy what their angel has been putting together for months!
The words you speak are important. As someone so aptly stated, Samson took the jawbone of a donkey and slew a thousand men —there have been ten thousand business deals killed with the same weapon! Anytime you speak out of line with God's Word, you're subject to provoking an angel. Jesus said you are going to be justified or condemned by your words. That doesn't mean you will be sent to hell because of your words, but you can lose your eternal rewards because of them. Your words set the cornerstones of your life. In some instances those words are the very thing that assign the angels their job. Watch your words! They're powerful! ( Charles Capps)

WILL YOUR LIFE BUILD A MEMORIAL BEFORE THE THRONE OF GOD?

Your giving and kindness is remembered forever! There is a story in the Book of Acts, Chapter 10, about a Gentile named Cornelius. He was a good man and gave much money to the poor. He had a kind heart and was known throughout the region. Cornelius was not just building a reputation on earth, but in Heaven too. So much so, that God sent an Angel to Cornelius with these words: (KJV) “Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God” or from the Everyday Bible, New Century Version: “He (God) has seen that you give to the poor and remembers you”. And from the Living Bible: “Your prayers and your charities have not gone unnoticed by God”. God was so impressed with Cornelius’s goodness towards the poor that He wanted to make sure he had an opportunity to hear the gospel. He even prepared Peter ahead of time (through a vision) so he would not reject him because he was a Gentile.

We cannot get into Heaven with our works, only accepting Jesus qualifies you for that. However, when we live our lives the same way as Cornelius (unselfishly), we too build a memorial in Heaven with our generosity. There are many people here on earth, some are very well known, that have built fantastic memorials in Heaven. Some are so big that they look like small cities; with large fountains, gardens and benches to sit on. There are galleries where you can go inside and actually view some of the kind acts they have performed. Their names are always displayed on some type of plaque or on the monument itself. If you know someone who has a giving heart and they continually help others, they probably have one of these memorials. It doesn’t matter where you go in Heaven, these memorials are everywhere.

Two memorials in particular caught my eye. One was made from mother-of-pearl and it shone brightly against the landscape. It was the size of a city park, with beautiful waterfalls that ended into the basin of a large fountain. All around the base wall of the fountain were figurines of children in various stages of play. Their little faces filled with delight and expectation. The upper wall of the fountain had the most beautiful butterflies engraved into it. They were so real that I expected them to take flight at any moment. At the very top of the fountain was a scrolled plaque which read: “A MEMORIAL FOR YOUR LOVE AND KINDNESS TO THE FORGOTTEN CHILDREN OF THE WORLD”. The detail work on the fountain must have been done by one of Heaven’s best artisans. Flowers were in bloom everywhere and the fragrance from them stirred your senses; some of them cascaded down the walls that surrounded the extensive gardens.

Peacocks strutted across the grounds and were perching on some of the smaller fountains which ran alongside the wall. What a beautiful place to have been formed from someone’s labors of love towards the needy! This memorial belongs to a precious Christian woman who is often maligned by both the secular world and even by some of those in leadership who profess to know Christ. This does not please the Father, but rather saddens Him. He highly honors her in heaven for her efforts. She has remembered the orphans and the abandoned of the world and is doing something about it! Watch your words and do not touch God’s anointed. You may not approve of them personally and if you truly feel they have made mistakes, then pray for them. The bible says if they are producing good fruit with their lives on behalf of Christ, then they are for Him and not against Him. DO NOT LET YOUR OWN WORDS DELAY OR DEFEAT WHAT GOD HAS FOR YOU BY SPEAKING AGAINST ANY OF HIS CHILDREN.

The other memorial I saw was just as spectacular, but very different in design. It too started with a large fountain, but this one had a transparent bridge which passed over top of it. It had a more modern design to it and seemed to be filled with this beautiful blue light. As you entered the bridge and began to pass over this huge fountain, you look down into smaller pools that were part of its design and instead of seeing your own reflection, you saw the faces of all those who had been helped in some way by this individual. The things you viewed, had actually taken place at some time and had been captured by Heaven and secured into this memorial. Not only could you see the expression on the people’s faces, but you could hear the very words of gratitude they spoke to this individual.

Masses of roses and white Baby’s Breath surrounded this fountain and went up the sides of the huge columns that were a part of its structure. Platforms came out from either side of the fountain where at various times, Heaven’s symphonies would come and play concerts for the enjoyment of all those present. The glorious music could be heard for some distance and all those who heard it would stop and give glory to God for His goodness to others.

Near the fountain area were multiple areas for sitting and fellowshipping with others, which is a favorite pastime of this individual. They really love people and the only reward they ask is what they see in the peoples’ faces they help. Many of these people were extremely needy and had their lives changed forever, because of the efforts of this person.

There are areas where small children can come and enjoy playing on a variety of unusual playthings. Some I had never seen before, like the bubble balls. A child would walk up into this domed structure which had a hole at the top and as they stood there, a large bubble would encase them and they would float out and start bouncing off their friends’ bubbles. They would laugh and shout as they floated about. When they tired of it, they simply popped their bubble and would return to the ground.

How wonderful that not only was this individual bringing happiness to children on earth, but in Heaven also. God’s love had been expressed through this person, time and time again. They did not even realize they had been influenced by the Spirit of God to do a lot of these acts of kindness. They were wealthy in their own right and could have been selfish, but chose instead to use their life for the betterment of others. They were never prejudice against any particular group, but treated everyone fairly as the bible says we should. As a result, this magnificent memorial was built with their love. It would be a crime if the one who built this memorial, never got to see it. As I said before, your memorial does not guarantee entry into Heaven, if they do not accept Christ; the memorial will remain but they will never see it! Some people may try to argue that God would have nothing in heaven that relates to the sinner; however, Cornelius and his family got saved after the angel came and spoke. This is proof that God not only hears the prayer of the unsaved, but even recognizes the good things they do for the poor and needy. God desires to draw close to us, that is why He created man; so that He could have a family to have fellowship with.

One important lesson God taught me was to never try and judge the heart of man; only he knows what is in it. He decides who goes, because He is the only judge! Many will make last-minute confessions and there will be many people in Heaven that we never expected to see there.

Will your life build a memorial before the Throne of God? It is a most Holy place and all things must be passed through the fire before being presented. Even though there is dancing, singing and celebrating, it is still a place of reverence and awe. Many times the Glory is so heavy, no one can stand in it; and they fall prostrate before the throne. It is a place that is always available to all who dwell in Heaven. The Father welcomes any who wish to see Him. Jesus and the Father and Holy Spirit are one, in that they have the ability to go in and out of each other. They think alike, feel alike and love alike; and are all “equally” HOLY! When you pray, you are talking to all of them. When you worship, you are honoring all of them. Develop a lifestyle of prayer and worship that is how you pursue an intimacy with them. They desire it, more than you know! THE PURPOSE OF LIFE IS TO BE A PART OF THEIR FAMILY. (Katt Kerr)

PLEASE LOVE THOSE WHO ARE NOW YOUR ENEMIES

Then another man emerged from the ranks. He had been a contemporary of mine, and I did not know that he had died. I had never met him on earth, but he had a great ministry which I respected very much. Through men that he had trained, thousands had been led to salvation, and many great churches had been raised up. He asked if he could just embrace me for a minute, and I agreed, feeling a bit awkward. When we embraced I felt such love coming from him that a great pain that was deep within me stopped hurting. I had become so used to the pain that I did not even notice it until it stopped. After he released me I told him that his embrace had healed me of something. His joy at this was profound. Then he began to tell me why he was in the lowest rank in heaven.

"I became so arrogant near the end of my life that I could not imagine that the Lord would do anything of significance unless He did it through me. I began to touch the Lord's anointed, and do His prophets harm. I was selfishly proud when the Lord used one of my own disciples, and I became jealous when the Lord moved through anyone who was outside of my own ministry. I would search for anything that was wrong with them which I could attack. I did not know that every time I did this I only demoted myself further."

"I never knew that you had done anything like that," I said, surprised.

"I incited men under me to investigate others and do my dirty work. I had them scour the earth to find any error or sin in the life of others to expose them. I became the worst thing that a man can become on the earth-a stumbling block who produced other stumbling blocks. We sowed fear and division throughout the church, all in the name of protecting the truth. In my self-righteousness I was headed for perdition. In His great mercy the Lord allowed me to be struck by a disease that would bring about a slow and humiliating death. Just before I died I came to my senses and repented. I am just thankful to be here at all. I may be one of the least of His here, but it is much more than I deserve. I just could not leave this room until I had a chance to apologize to those of you that I so wronged."

"But you never wronged me," I said. "Oh, but I did indeed," he replied. "Many of the attacks that came against you were from those whom I had agitated and encouraged in their assaults on others. Even though I may not have personally carried the attacks out, the Lord holds me as responsible as those who did."

"I see. Certainly I forgive you." I was already beginning to remember how I had done this same thing, even if on a smaller scale. I recalled how I had allowed disgruntled former members of a church to spread their poison about that church without stopping them. I knew that by just allowing them to do this without correcting them I had encouraged them to continue. I remember thinking that this was justified because of the errors of that church. I then began to remember how I had even repeated many of their stories, justifying it by saying it was only to enlist prayers for them. Soon a great flood of other such incidents began to arise in my heart. Again, I was starting to be overwhelmed by the evil and darkness of my own soul.

"I, too, have been a stumbling block!" I wailed, dropping again to my knees. I knew that I deserved death, that I deserved the worst kind of hell. I had never seen such ruthlessness and cruelty as I was now seeing in my own heart.

"And we always comforted ourselves by actually thinking that we were doing God a favor when we attacked His own children," came the understanding voice of this man. "It is good for you to see this here, because you can go back. Please warn my disciples of their impending doom if they do not repent. Many of them are called to be kings here, but if they do not repent they will face the worst judgment of all-that of the stumbling blocks. My humbling disease was grace from God. When I stood before the throne I asked the Lord to send such grace to my disciples. I cannot cross back over to them, but He has allowed me this time with you. Please forgive and release those who have attacked you. They really do not understand that they are doing the work of the Accuser. Thank you for forgiving me, but please also forgive them. It is in your power to retain sins or cover them with love. I entreat you to love those who are now your enemies."

I could hardly hear this man I was so overwhelmed with my own sin. This man was so glorious, pure and obviously now had powers that were not known on the earth. Yet, he was entreating me with a greater humility than I had witnessed before. I felt such love coming from him that I could not imagine refusing him, but even without the impact of his love, I felt far more guilty than anyone could possibly be who was attacking me.

"Certainly I must deserve anything they have done to me, and much more," I replied. "That is true, but it is not the point here," he entreated. "Everyone on earth is deserving of the second death, but our Savior brought us grace and truth. If we are to do His work we must do everything in both grace and truth. Truth without grace is what the enemy brings when he comes as an 'angel of light.'"

"If I can be delivered from this maybe I will be able to help them," I replied. "But can't you recognize that I am far worse than they could possibly be?"

"I know that what just passed through your mind was bad," he answered, but with a love and grace that was profound. I knew that he had now become as concerned for me and my condition as he had been for his own disciples.

"This really is heaven," I blurted out. "This really is light and truth. How could we who live in such darkness become so proud, thinking that we know so much about God? Lord!" I yelled in the direction of the throne, "Please let me go and carry this light back to earth!"


Immediately the entire host of heaven seemed to stand at attention, and I knew that I was the center of their attention. I felt so insignificant before just one of these glorious ones, but when I knew they were all looking at me, fear came like a tidal wave. I felt that there could be no doom like I was about to experience. I felt like the greatest enemy of the glory and truth that so filled that place. I was too corrupted; I could never properly represent such glory and truth. There was no way that I could in my corruption convey the reality of the glorious place and Presence. I was sure that even Satan had not fallen as far as I had from grace. This is hell I thought. There can be no worse pain than to be as evil as I am and to know that this kind of glory exists. To be banned from here is a torture worse than I ever dreamed. No wonder the demons are so angry and demented, I thought.

Just when I felt that I was about to be sent to the deepest regions of hell, I simply cried "JESUS!" Quickly a peace came over me. (Rick Joyner)

HAVE A FAITH THAT CAN SHAKE HELL AND MOVE ANYTHING ELSE

I remember one day being in Lancashire, and going around tosee some sick people. I was taken into a house where there was a young woman lying on her bed, a very helpless case. It was a case where the reason had gone, and many things were manifested there which were satanic, and I knew it.

She was only a young woman, a beautiful child. Then the husband, quite a young man, came in with a baby and he leaned over to kiss the wife. The moment he did she threw herself over on the other side of the bed, just as a lunatic would do, with no consciousness of the presence of the husband.

That was very heart-breaking. And then he took the baby and pressed the baby’s lips to the mother. Again another wild kind of thing happened. So he said to a sister who was attending her, “Have you anybody to help?” “Oh,” they said, “we have had everything.”

But I said, “Have you no spiritual help?” And her husband stormed out and said, “Help? You think that we believe in God after we have had seven weeks of no sleep, of maniac conditions? You think that we believe God? You are mistaken. You have come to the wrong house.”

And then a young woman about 18 or so just grinned at me and passed out of the door, and that finished the whole business. That brought me to a place of compassion for this woman that something had to be done, no matter what it was.

And then with my faith—oh, thank God for the faith. I began to penetrate the heavens, and I was soon out of that house I will tell you, for I never saw a man get anything from God who prayed on the earth. If you get anything from God you will have to pray into heaven for it is all there.

If you are living on the earth and expect things from heaven it will never come. If you want to touch the ideal you must live in ideal principles. And as I saw in the presence of God the limitations of my faith, there came another faith, a faith that could not be denied, a faith that took the promise, a faith that believed God’s Word. And I came from that presence back again to earth, but not the same man, under the same condition confronting me but in the name of Jesus, with a faith that could shake hell and move anything else.

I said, “Come out of her in the name of Jesus!” And she rolled over and fell asleep and wakened in 14 hours, perfectly sane and perfectly whole. Oh, there is faith. The faith that is in me. And Jesus wants to bring us all this morning into a place in line with God where we cease to be, for God must have the right of way, of thought, of purpose. God must have the way. MANY ARE IN HELL TODAY SINCE B.C.

We went again to the belly of hell and began to walk toward a small opening. I turned to look where we were entering and found that we were on a ledge beside a cell in the center of hell. We stopped in front of a cell in which was a beautiful woman. Over the top of the cell were the letters "B.C."

I heard the woman say, "Lord, I knew you would come someday. Please let me out of this place of torment." She was dressed in the clothes of an ancient era, and she was very beautiful. I knew that she had been here for many centuries but could not die. Her soul was in torment. She began to pull at the bars and cry.

Softly Jesus said, "Peace, be still." He spoke to her with sadness in His voice. "Woman, you know why you are here."
"Yes," she said, "but I can change. I remember, when You let all those others out of paradise. I remember Your words of salvation. I will be good now," she cried, "and I will serve You." She clenched the bars of the cell in her tiny fists and began to scream, "Let me out! Let me out!"

At that, she began to change before our eyes. Her clothing began to burn. Her flesh fell off, and all that remained was a black skeleton with burned-out holes for eyes and a hollow shell of a soul. I watched in horror as the old woman fell to the floor. All her beauty had departed in a moment. It staggered my imagination to think that she had been here since before Christ was born.

Jesus said to her, "You knew on earth what your end would be. Moses gave you the law, and you heard it. RAISING LAZARUS OF WALES BACK TO LIFE

One day I went up into the mountain to pray. I had a wonderful day. It was one of the high mountains of Wales. I heard of one man going up this mountain to pray, and the Spirit of the Lord met him so wonderfully that his face shone like that of an angel when he returned. Every one in the village was talking about it. As I went up to this mountain and spent the day in the presence of the Lord, His wonderful power seemed to envelop and saturate and fill me.

Two years before this time there had come to our house two lads from Wales. They were just ordinary lads, but they became very zealous for God. They came to our mission and saw some of the works of God. They said to me, "We would not be surprised if the Lord brings you down to Wales to raise our Lazarus." They explained that the leader of their assembly was a man who had spent his days working in a tin mine and his nights preaching, and the result was that he had collapsed, gone into consumption, and for four years he had been a helpless invalid, having to be fed with a spoon.

While I was up on that mountain top I was reminded of the transfiguration scene, and I felt that the Lord's only purpose in taking us into the glory was to fit us for greater usefulness in the valley.

As I was on the mountaintop that day, the Lord said to me, "I want you to go and raise Lazarus." I told the brother who accompanied me of this, and when we got down to the valley, I wrote a postcard: "When I was up on the mountain praying today, God told me that I was to go and raise Lazarus." I addressed the postcard to the man in the place whose name had been given to me by the two lads. When we arrived at the place we went to the man to whom I had addressed the card. He looked at me and said, "Did you send this?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Do you think we believe in this? Here, take it." And he threw it at me.

The man called a servant and said, "Take this man and show him Lazarus." Then he said to me, "The moment you see him you will be ready to go home. Nothing will hold you." Everything he said was true from the natural viewpoint. The man was helpless. He was nothing but a mass of bones with skin stretched over them. There was no life to be seen. Everything in him spoke of decay.

I said to him, "Will you shout? You remember that at Jericho the people shouted while the walls were still up. God has like victory for you if you will only believe." But I could not get him to believe. There was not an atom of faith there. He had made up his mind not to have anything.
It is a blessed thing to learn that God's word can never fail. Never hearken to human plans. God can work mightily when you persist in believing Him in spite of discouragements from the human standpoint. When I got back to the man to whom I had sent the post-card, he asked, "Are you ready to go now?"

I am not moved by what I see. I am moved only by what I believe. I know this -- no man looks at appearances if he believes.
No man considers how he feels if he believes. The man who believes God has it. Every man who comes into the Pentecostal condition can laugh at all things and believe God. There is something in the Pentecostal work that is different from anything else in the world. Somehow, in Pentecost, you know that God is a reality. Wherever the Holy Ghost has right of way, the gifts of the Spirit will be in manifestation; and where these gifts are never in manifestation, I question whether he is present. Pentecostal people are spoiled for anything else than Pentecostal meetings.

We want none of the entertainments that the churches are offering. When God comes in He entertains us Himself. Entertained by the King of kings and Lord of lords! Oh, it is wonderful. There were difficult conditions in that Welsh village, and it seemed impossible to get the people to believe. "Ready to go home?" I was asked. But a man and a woman there asked us to come and stay with them. I said, "I want to know how many of you people can pray." No one wanted to pray. I asked if I could get seven people to pray with me for the poor man's deliverance. I said to the two people who were going to entertain us, "I will count on you two, and there is my friend and myself, and we need three others." I told the people that I trusted that some of them would awaken to their privilege and come in the morning and join us in prayer for the raising of Lazarus. It will never do to give way to human opinions. If God says a thing, you are to believe it.

I told the people that I would not eat anything that night. When I got to bed it seemed as if the devil tried to place on me everything that he had placed on that poor man in the bed. When I awoke I had a cough and all the weakness of a tubercular patient. I rolled out of bed on to the floor and cried out to God to deliver me from the power of the devil. I shouted loud enough to wake everybody in the house, but nobody was disturbed. God gave victory, and I got back into bed again as free as ever I was in my life. At 5 o'clock the Lord awakened me and said to me, "Don't break bread until you break it round My table." At six o'clock He gave me these words, "And I will raise him up." I put my elbow into the fellow who was sleeping with me. He said, "Ugh!" I put my elbow into him again and said, "Do you hear? The Lord says that He will raise him up." At 8 o'clock they said to me, "Have a little refreshment." But I have found prayer and fasting the greatest joy, and you will
always find it so when you are led by God. When we went to the house where Lazarus lived there were eight of us altogether. No one can prove to me that God does not always answer prayer. He
always does more than that. He always gives the exceedingly abundant above all we ask or think.

I shall never forget how the power of God fell on us as we went into that sick man's room. O, it was lovely! As we circled round the bed I got one brother to hold one of the sick man's hands and I held the other; and we each held the hand of the person next to us. I said, "We are not going to pray, we are just going to use the name of Jesus." We all knelt down and whispered that one word, "Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!" The power of God fell and then it lifted. Five times the power of God fell and then it remained. But the person who was in the bed was unmoved. Two years previous someone had come along and had tried to raise him up, and the devil had used his lack of success as a means of discouraging Lazarus. I said, "I don't care what the devil says; if God says he will raise you up it must be so. Forget everything else except what God says about Jesus."

The sixth time the power fell and the sick man's lips began moving and the tears began to fall. I said to him, "The power of God is here; it is yours to accept it." He said, "I have been bitter in my heart, and I know I have grieved the Spirit of God. Here I am helpless. I cannot lift my hands, nor even lift a spoon to my mouth." I said, "Repent, and God will hear you." He repented and cried out, "O God, let this be to Thy glory." As he said this the virtue of the Lord went right through him. I have asked the Lord to never let me tell this story except as it was, for I realize that God cannot bless exaggerations. As we again said,"Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!" the bed shook, and the man shook. I said to the people that were with me, "You can all go down stairs right away. This is all God. I'm not going to assist him." I sat and watched that man get up and dress himself. We sang the doxology as he walked down the steps. I said to him, "Now tell what has happened."

It was soon noised abroad that Lazarus had been raised up and the people came from Llanelly and all the district round to see him and hear his testimony. And God brought salvation to many. This man told right out in the open air what God had done, and as a result many were convicted and converted. All this came through the name of Jesus, through faith in His name, yea, the faith that is by Him gave this sick man perfect soundness in the presence of them all. (Smith Wigglesworth)

THE POWER OF HIS WORD

“You seek to know and walk in My power so that you can heal the sick and perform miracles, but you have not even begun to comprehend the power of My word. To resurrect all the dead who have ever lived on earth will not even cause Me to strain. I uphold all things by the power of My word. The creation exists because of My word, and it is held together by My word. Before the end, I will reveal My power on earth. Even so, the greatest power that I have ever revealed on the earth, or ever will, is still a very small demonstration of My power. I do not reveal My power to cause men to believe in My power, but to cause men to believe in My love.

“If I had wanted to save the world with My power when I walked the earth, I could have moved mountains by pointing a finger Then all men would have bowed to Me, but not because they loved Me or loved the truth, but because they feared My power. I do not want men to obey Me because they fear My power, but because they love Me and love the truth. If you do not know My love, then My power will corrupt you. I do not give you love so you can know My power, but I give you power so that you can know My love. The goal of your life must be love, not power. Then I will give you power with which to love people. I will give you the power to heal the sick because you love them, and I love them, and I do not want them sick.

So you must seek love first, and then faith. You cannot please Me without faith. But faith is not just the knowledge of My power, it is the knowledge of My love and the power of My love. Faith must first be exercised in order to receive more love. Seek faith to love more, and to do more with your love. Only when you seek the faith to love can I trust you with My power. Faith works by love. My word is the power that upholds all things. To the degree that you believe My word is true, you can do all things.

Those who really believe that My words are true, will also be true to their own words. It is My nature to be true, and the creation trusts My word because I am faithful to it. Those who are like Me are also true to their own words. Their word is sure, and their commitments are trustworthy. Their ‘’yes‟ means ‘’yes,‟ and their ‘’no‟ means ‘’no. If your own words are not true, you will also begin to doubt My words, because deception is in your heart. If you are not faithful to your own words, it is because you do not really know Me. To have faith, you must be faithful. I have called you to walk by faith because I am faithful. It is My nature.

That is why you will be judged because of the careless words you speak. To be careless is to care less. Words have power and those who are careless with words cannot be trusted with the power of My word. It is wisdom to be careful with your words, and to keep them as I do Mine.”

The Lord’s words were rolling over me like great waves from the sea. I felt like Job before the whirlwind. I thought that I was getting smaller and smaller, and then realized that He was getting larger. I had never felt so presumptuous. How could I have been so casual with God? I felt like an ant staring up at a mountain range. I was less than dust, yet He was taking the time to speak to me. I could not stand any more, and turned away.

After a few moments, I felt a reassuring hand on my shoulder. It was Wisdom. His glory was even greater now, but He was again my size. “Do you understand what happened just then?” He asked. Knowing very well that when the Lord asks a question He is not seeking information, I began to ponder what had happened. I knew that it was reality. Compared to Him, I am less than a speck of dust would be to the earth, and for some reason He wanted me to experience that realization in a profound way.

Answering my thoughts, He elaborated:

“What you are thinking is true, but this comparison of man to God is not just in size. You began to experience the power of My words. To be entrusted with My words is to be entrusted with the power by which the universe is held together. I did not do this to make you feel small, but to help you understand the seriousness and the power with which you have been entrusted—the word of God. “In all of your endeavors, remember that the importance of a single word from God to man is of more value than all of the treasures on earth. You must understand and teach My brethren to respect the value of My word. As one who is called to carry My words, you must also respect the value of your own words. Those who will carry the truth must be true.” (Rick Joyner)

RAISING THE DEAD BACK TO LIFE WILL SOON BE COMMON

One day when I came home from our open-air meeting at eleven o'clock I found that my wife was out. I asked, "Where is she?" I was told that she was down at Mitchell's. I had seen Mitchell that day and knew that he was at the point of death. I knew that it was impossible for him to survive the day unless the Lord undertook. There are many who let down in sickness and do not take hold of the life of the Lord Jesus Christ that is provided for them.

(I was taken to see a woman who was dying and said to her, "How are things with you?" She answered, "I have faith, I believe." I said, "You know that you have not faith, you know that you are dying. It is not faith that you have, it is language." There is a difference between language and faith. I saw that she was in the hands of the devil. There was no possibility of life until he was removed from the premises. I hate the devil, and I laid hold of the woman and shouted, "Come out, you devil of death. I command you to come out in the name of Jesus." In one minute she stood on her feet in victory).

But to return to the case of Brother Mitchell, I hurried down to the house, and as I got near I heard terrible screams. I knew that something had happened. I passed Mrs. Mitchell on the staircase and asked, "What is up?" She replied, "He is gone! He is gone!"

I just passed her and went into the room and immediately I saw that Mitchell had gone. I could not understand it, but I began to pray. My wife was always afraid that I would go too far, and she laid hold of me and said, "Don't, Dad! Don't you see that he is dead?" I continued to pray and my wife continued to cry out to me, "Don't, Dad. Don't you see that he is dead?" But I continued praying. I got as far as I could with my own faith, and then God laid hold of me. Oh, it was such a laying hold that I could believe for anything. The faith of the Lord Jesus laid hold of me and a solid peace came into my heart. I shouted, "He lives! He lives! He lives!" And he is living today. There is a difference between our faith and the faith of the Lord Jesus. The faith of the Lord Jesus is needed. We must change faith from time to time. Your faith may get to a place where it wavers. The faith of Christ never wavers.

When you have that faith the thing is finished. When you have that faith you will never look at things as they are, you will see the things of nature give way to the things of the Spirit, you will see the temporal swallowed up in the eternal. (Smith Wigglesworth)

PREACH THE GOSPEL

After numerous inquiries to the Lord as to why He was allowing me to experience the reality of His presence, I had a frightening vision. I saw someone standing in front of me, engulfed in flames and moving uncontrollably. His feet were not touching the ground.

His mouth was opening and closing, like the "gnashing of teeth" in the Bible. At that moment, the Lord spoke in an audible voice: "Preach the gospel."

I responded: "But, Lord, I can't talk." Two nights later, I had a dream. I saw an angel with a chain in his hand; it was attached to a door that seemed to fill heaven. He pulled it open, and there were people as far as the eye could see. They were all moving toward a large, deep valley, and that valley was an inferno. Thousands were falling into the fire.

Those on the front lines were trying to fight it, but the crush of humanity pushed them into the flames. Again the Lord spoke to me: "If you do not preach, I will hold you responsible." I knew instantly that everything in my life, including my unbelievable experiences in recent months, was for one purpose: to move me to preach the gospel. (Benny Hinn)

I have seen the worst men saved by the power of God. I was one day preaching about the name of Jesus and there was a man leaning against a lamp-post, listening. It took a lamp-post to enable him to keep on his feet. We had finished our open-air meeting, and the man was still leaning against the post. I asked him, "Are you sick?" He showed me his hand and I saw beneath his coat, he had a silver handled dagger. MANSIONS OF GREAT SOUL WINNERS

As we look down from the top of the City Four Square, fifteen hundred miles in height and looking over to the top of the Great Throne with GOD, The Father still five hundred miles above all the Glory, no man will be able to ever fly higher than GOD in Heaven above His Head or even above His Feet.
GOD, The Father, sits there with all The Glory within Him. He is ''Our Father, Which
Art In Heaven'' as Jesus taught us in The Lord's Prayer.
And as the Earthly Catechism reads: ''I Believe In GOD, The Father, The Son, And The Holy Ghost.'' I learned the Catechism as a boy and there is nothing wrong in that as the Catechism is a symbol of Faith and a constant reminder, as does the Cross that all is true and real and that there Eternal Life.
Looking down over the Mansions is a sight so great and spectacular that no human mind can comprehend it. My soul received it in Heaven by the Revelation from Heaven through Jesus, my Lord.

The Mansions are three rows wide and hundreds of miles long and the Base
of the Mansions is exactly the same level as the Base of The Throne. The Top of every Mansion is transparent as it is in the City Four Square.
The Mansions are very Big, Bigger than any Mansion ever built on this Earth; more beautiful and The Designer and The Great Architect is Jesus, Who has designed and built them for us, The Redeemed Soul Winners. Each Mansion is
individually built with millions of flowers growing out of the gold which will never FADE. The
inside of the Mansions are all studded with precious stones and the walls are Jasper and the floors of the Mansions are pure Gold. The overhanging tapestries are all made and created by GOD. And on the tapestries are the names of those souls that were won by the soul winner to follow Jesus, to be redeemed and to be filled with the Spirit Of The Living GOD.

The conversations inside the Mansions will be in GOD's Language and you can learn that on this Earth by being Baptized in the HOLY GHOST.
For out of your belly can flow rivers of Living Waters and when you speak out of your belly under the Inspiration of The Holy Ghost, that is GOD's Language. When the Redeemed gather up there in the Mansions, there will be singing and joy everlasting. The Mansions are leveled at the Base of The Throne Of GOD and they are built so that the occupants of the Mansions can look upon GOD, The Father. For after the Judgment, all the Redeemed will see Him in His Fullness.
Now, no man can look on the Face of GOD and live.

Inside the Mansions there are, also, flowers growing and the Mansions are with Heavenly furniture which is, also, created by GOD, The Father. There is no need of a kitchen sink or a lavatory to be flushed; there is no need of a kitchen. My, how the Ladies will enjoy this, no dishes to wash or any cooking to do.
There will be neither male nor female in the Mansions. Therefore, all jealousy will cease. There will be no need to hang Grandfather's picture on the wall. There will be no need to remember Death and the Graveyard; all the undertakers will be out of business. There will be no need for the wonderful doctors anymore, no need for hospitals, or clinics, or dentists or nurses. We will be completely Redeemed with a new body that is perfect.
We will be visited by Angels and Jesus will come to visit us in the Mansions.
I saw some of the soul winners' souls in the Mansions already waiting for their bodies to join
them and come home. Supper has past and is over and now we will go into the Banqueting
House at any time and eat of the Food of Heaven.
The reason that you will be able to see up from the Mansions toward the Throne of GOD only is that the Mansions are built in the Presence of GOD.
Living forever and you will never get tired of it. No mortgage to pay, no repairs to be made and it will be everlasting joy and occupancy forever!
No Mansion will be higher than any other. From one end of the Mansions to the other,
we will have the same equality regardless of whatever our skin was in color upon this Earth.
This will be the ''Ultimate'' of desegregation; there will be no more segregation with special space for the Baptists, or the Methodists, or the Presbyterians, the Catholics, or any other denomination or any other religions of the world who have accepted Jesus as their King. For Jesus is the Lord of this Earth now to His Saints; He will be the King of Heaven for the Redeemed of millions.
Walking down through the front rows of the Mansions with Jesus, a lot of the Mansions were already occupied. The Apostle Paul had one, Smith Wigglesworth had another Aimee McPherson had one and there were many others.
How would you like to be sitting in the front room of your Mansion gazing upon the scenery before you, The Throne of GOD, The Mountains, The Rivers and The Valleys among a billion shades of colors and The Million Miles of Eternity?

A CALL TO A CLOSER WALK WITH JESUS

Another time I saw Jesus, I was about 11 years old. This time, He walked in through the front door while I was watching the comedy, "Laverne and Shirley" on television. He came over, sat down beside me on the couch, and kind of glanced at the TV set.

Everything in this natural world clicked off. I could not hear the television or the telephone. All I heard was Jesus, and all I saw was His glory. He said, "Roberts, I want you to study the lives of My generals in My great army throughout time. Know them like the back of your hand. Know why they were a success. Know why they failed, and you will lack nothing in that area."

Jesus promised me certain things that day. He said, "Roberts, if you will be faithful in this thing, I will promote you." The Bible says you must be faithful first of all in small things. (Matt. 25:21-23.) I had to leave the television set alone after that. I had to turn my back on school sports. I had to leave everything, even my best friend, and do what was required of me to follow God in order to fill the office He has for me.

He made me another promise that day. He said that if I would be faithful in these studies, He would see that I met the great generals of this day. And God has kept His promise. He has brought me in contact with them. If you let God do it, things will happen in His time. Everything will work out all right—everything. For God has a timetable that He runs on. We need to run on His timetable.

Jesus got up, walked back out the door, the TV clicked back on, and I resumed watching—for that day, anyway. After that, I studied carefully the great ministers of the past, along with some who were not well-known, to find out why they succeeded or failed. I began by reading a book my grandmother had on British evangelist Smith Wigglesworth.

Then I studied the lives and ministries of such men and women as John Alexander Dowie, Charles Finney, Maria Woodworth-Etter, John G. Lake, Aimee Semple McPherson, Kathryn Kuhlman, and many others.

Most of the time, we are running from the devil. But I found that the great preachers of the past lived on the offensive. They were not afraid of anything. We can learn much from the examples of these great men and women, who are now with the Lord.

As I read a book during those years I was studying what Jesus told me to study, the Holy Spirit taught me. He would tell me what different people were like. He would say, "Did you notice that? Did you notice how they said that—how they moved with Me in this way?" (Robert Liardon)

WAKE UP!

I now repeat for you point by point the entire five point message that God gave me to deliver to this world today.

Point Number 1: For those who call themselves Christians, this is the Laodicean Church Age in which we live. A high majority of so-called Christians are, in fact, living a deceived life. They talk Jesus and play church, but do not live it. They claim to be Christians and then live like the devil. They have bought the great lie from satan who tells them that they are alright. He tells them that it is alright to go to church on Sunday and attend mid-week services but as far as the rest of the time is concerned, they are to get all they can out of life. As far as their Christian life is concerned, they believe they are comfortable and have need of nothing and as a result, they are only lukewarm Christians if Christians at all.

Point Number 2: satan is a personal devil.

Point Number 3: To the whole world, this is Noah's second day. As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the coming of the son of man. Humans took no thought of what Noah was saying nor did humans believe that anything was about to change. Humanity could see the storm clouds over the horizon, but yet did not believe the rain was imminent. Notice the close parallel today. Humanity can see all the signs of the last days, yet humanity does not believe that anything will change. He does not believe in the impending coming of our Lord and he does not prepare to meet God."

Point Number 4: For those who claim to be Christians, they are supposed to be ambassadors for Christ here on earth. One cannot have any true witness or power in his life unless that one lives his
Christian faith at all times, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. To be a true Christian one must live it, not just talk it. To honor God with your lips and not your heart is not acceptable. Those who accept the responsibility of teaching, preaching, or any leadership role have much for which to answer.

Point Number 5: God is now in the process of recruiting an army with which God will shake this old world one more time. By working through his soldiers, God will produce great miracles that will shake the established hierarchy of the so-called organized religion that is in this world today.

These soldiers that God is now recruiting will demonstrate the power of God to a greater extent than did the disciples in the Pentecostal age. Now the recruitment has begun in earnest because God is about to perform the great miracles through his army that God promised us God would do in the Bible. John the Baptist brought the spirit of Elijah into this world and he did not even know he had it. John denied it, but Jesus confessed that it was so. The purpose of that spirit was to make straight the paths of the coming of the Lord.

A WITCH WHO SOLD HER SOUL TO SATAN

As far as I could see, the cells seemed to be in an endless circle. There was a single soul in each cell. Moans, wails, sighs and groans came from the cells as we walked past them. We had not walked far when Jesus stopped in front of another cell. As we looked in, a light came on. (Jesus made the light.) I stood and looked at a soul that I knew was in great torment! It was another woman, and she was a blue-gray color. Her flesh was dead, and the parts that had decayed were falling off the bones. Her bones were all burned to a deep black, and she had on bits and pieces of ragged clothes. Worms were crawling out of her flesh and bones.

A dirty odor filled the cell. Like the woman before, she too was sitting in a rocking chair. She was holding a rag doll. And as she rocked, she cried and held the rag doll to her chest. Great sobs shook her body, and wailing cries came from the cell. Jesus told me, "She also was a servant of Satan. She sold her soul to him, and while she was alive, she practiced every kind of evil. Witchcraft is real," said Jesus. "This woman taught and practiced witchcraft and turned many toward the path of sin. Those who were teachers of witchcraft received special attention and a greater amount of power from Satan than those who simply practiced it. She was a soothsayer, a diviner and a medium for her master.

"She gained great favor with Satan for all the evil she committed. She knew how to use the powers of darkness for herself and for Satan. She went to devil-worship services and praised Satan. She was a powerful woman for him." I wondered how many souls she had deceived for Satan. I looked at this bony shell of a soul, crying over a rag doll-just a dirty piece of cloth. Sorrow filled my heart, and tears filled my eyes. She held tightly to the rag doll as if it could help her, or perhaps she could help it. The smell of death filled the place.

Then I saw her begin to change like the other woman. She was first an old woman in the 1930's and then a young woman of today. Time after time, she made this fantastic transformation right before our eyes. "This woman," said Jesus, "was the equivalent of a preacher for Satan. Just as the true gospel is preached to us by a real minister, so Satan has his counterfeit ministers. She had the strongest kind of satanic power, one which she was required to sell her soul to receive. Satan's evil gifts are like the opposite side of the coin to the spiritual gifts Jesus bestows upon believers. This is the power of darkness. "These workers of Satan work in the occult, the witchcraft shops, as palm readers, and in many other ways. A medium of Satan is a powerful satanic worker. These individuals are utterly deceived and are sold out completely to Satan. Some workers of darkness cannot even speak to Satan unless their medium speaks for them. They make human and animal sacrifices to the devil.

"Many people give their souls to Satan. They choose to serve him instead of Me. Their choice is death unless they repent of their sins and call upon Me. I am faithful, and I will save them from their sins. Many also sell their souls to Satan thinking they will live forever. But they will die a horrible death. "Satan still thinks he can overthrow God and disrupt God's plan, but he was defeated at the cross. I took the keys away from Satan, and I have all power in heaven and in earth. "After this woman died, she went straight to hell. The demons brought her before Satan, where in anger she asked why the demons had control over her, for on earth she thought she controlled them. There they had done her bidding. She also asked Satan for the kingdom he had promised her.

"Satan kept on lying to her even after her death on earth. He said that he would restore her to life and use her for his purposes again. By deceit, she had gotten him many souls, so his lies sounded reasonable to her. "But at the last, Satan had laughed and scorned her. He told her, 'I deceived you and used you all those years. I will never give you my kingdom.'"

The devil waved his arms at the woman, and it seemed that her flesh was being ripped from her bones. She screamed in pain as a large black book was brought for Satan. He opened it and ran his finger down the pages till he found her name. "Oh, yes," Satan said, "you did serve me well on earth. You brought me more than 500 souls." He lied and said to her, "Your punishment will not be as bad as the others."

A cackle of evil laughter rang out. Satan stood and pointed a finger at the woman, and a great wind arose and filled the place. A sound like howling thunder rose from him. "Ha-ha," said the devil, "get your kingdom if you can." Then an unseen force slammed her to the ground. "You are going to serve me here also," Satan laughed as she tried to get up. The woman screamed in pain as the flesh continued to be ripped from her bones by demons. She was dragged back to this cage. She remembered Satan's promises. He told her she would have all power. He told her she would never die. He told her he had power over life and death, and she had believed him. She was told that Satan could stop anything from killing her. Satan told her many lies and promised her many things.

Jesus said, "I came to save all men. I desire that all who are lost will repent and call upon My name. It is not My will that any should perish, but have everlasting life. Sad to say, most will not repent of their sins before they die, and they will go to hell. But the way to heaven is the same for all people. You must be born again to enter the kingdom of God. You must come to the Father in My name and repent of your sins. You must sincerely give your heart to God and serve Him. " (Mary K. Baxter)

THE TRAGIC END OF A WITCH DOCTOR
As I walked close to Jesus, He stopped in front of the third cell. A bright light illumined the inside of the cell. In the cell was an old woman sitting in a rocking chair, rocking and crying as though her heart would break. I don't know why, but I was shocked to find that this woman was a real person with a body.

The cell was completely bare except for the woman in the rocking chair. The walls of the cell were constructed of light clay and dirt, molded into the earth. The front door spanned the entire front of the cell. It was made of black metal with bars of metal and a lock on it. Since the bars were set wide apart, Jesus and I had an almost unlimited view of the entire cell.

The old woman's color was ashen-flesh mixed with a grayish tint. She was rocking back and forth. As she rocked, tears rolled down her cheeks. I knew from her agonized expression that she was in great pain and was suffering from some unseen torment. I wondered what she had been charged with that she should be imprisoned here. All of a sudden, right before my eyes, the woman began to change forms-first to an old, old man, then to a young woman, to a middle-aged woman and then back to the old lady I had first seen. In shock, I watched as she went through these changes one after the other.

When she saw Jesus, she cried, "Lord, have mercy on me. Let me out of this place of torment." She leaned forward in her chair and reached for Jesus, but could not get to Him. The changing continued. Even her clothes changed, so that she was attired as a man, then a young girl, a middle aged woman and an old woman in turn. All of this changing seemed to take only a few minutes.

I asked Jesus, "Why, Lord?" Again she screamed, "O Lord, let me out of here before they return." She now stood at the front of the cell, clenching the bars with tight fists. She said, "I know Your love is real. I know Your love is true. Let me out!" Then as the woman cried in terror, I saw that something was beginning to rip the flesh from her body.
"She is not what she appears to be," said the Lord.

The woman sat back in the chair and began to rock. But now only a skeleton was sitting in the rocking chair-a skeleton with a dirty mist inside. Where there had been a clothed body only minutes ago, now there were blackened and burned bones and empty sockets for eyes. The soul of the woman moaned and cried out to Jesus in repentance. But her cries were too late.

"Back on earth," said Jesus, "this woman was a witch and a worshiper of Satan. She not only practiced witchcraft, but she taught witchcraft to others. From the time she was a child, her family practiced the black arts. They loved darkness rather than light.

"Many times," said the Lord, "I called on her to repent. She mocked Me and said, 'I enjoy serving Satan. I will keep on serving him.' She rejected the truth and would not repent of her evil. She turned many people away from the Lord, some of them are in hell with her today. If she had repented, I would have saved her and many of her family, but she would not listen.

"Satan deceived this woman into believing that she would receive a kingdom of own as her reward for serving him. He told her she would never die, but would have a life with him
forever. She died praising Satan and came here and asked him for her kingdom. Satan, the father of lies, laughed in her face and said, 'Did you think I would divide my kingdom with you? This is your kingdom.' And he locked her in this cell and torments her day and night.

"On earth this woman taught many witches, both white witches and black witches, to do their magic. One of her magical tricks was to change from a young woman, to a middle-aged woman, to an old woman-even to an old man. It was fun in those days to make the change and frighten lesser witches with her magic. But now she suffers the pains of hell, and her flesh is ripped away with each change. She cannot control it now, and keeps changing from one form to another, but her real form is the misty soul inside her skeleton. Satan uses her for his evil purposes and taunts and mocks her. Every so often she is brought back before Satan to be tormented for his pleasure.

"I called her many times, and I would have saved her. But she would not have Me. Now she begs and pleads for forgiveness, but it is too late. Now she is lost without hope." I looked at this woman who was lost forever in suffering and pain, and though she was an evil woman, my heart was broken with compassion. "Lord, how awful!" I said in tears.

And then, just as if Jesus and I were not even there, a dirty, brown demon with broken wings, about the size and shape of a large bear, came to the front of her cell and opened it with a key. He was making a loud noise as if to frighten her. The woman screamed in abject terror as he began to attack her and pull her out of the cell.

Jesus said, "This demon torments her often." I watched as she was dragged out of the cell and taken away. "Dear Lord," I asked, "is there nothing we can do?" I felt such a pity for her. "It's too late!" Jesus replied. "It's too late." (MARY K. BAXTER)

BE PATIENT WITH SPIRITUAL BABES IN-CHRIST (NEPIOS)

I was shaving one morning, the Spirit of God spoke to me and said, "I want you to go to E.'s house because he has missed it, and he thinks now that because he has sinned, God doesn't love him anymore. He is not going to come back to church anymore." I walked out to tell my wife—with lather still on my face—and I said, "Honey, before I go to the grocery store for you, I've got to go to E.'s. The Lord just said that he has missed it—he lost his temper and said a lot of things he shouldn't have—and the Lord told me to go out there and restore him."

I went back to finish shaving, and E.'s wife drove up. "Oh, Brother Hagin," she cried, "I want you to go see E. He lost his temper on the job yesterday and said a lot of things he shouldn't have. A back injury he had a long time ago has come back on him, and he's home in bed. He says he's not coming to church anymore. He believes God doesn't love him anymore because he sinned." She added, "Don't you tell him I came by here, because he won't like it."

"The Lord just spoke to me about it," I said. "You can ask my wife. I just got through telling her." I went to their home, knocked on the door, and recognized E.'s voice saying, "Come in." E. was so embarrassed that he pulled the covers up over his head. I could hear him crying. I got on my knees beside his bed, and I began to cry with him. I pulled at the covers—he was holding on for dear life—and out-pulled him. I simply took him in my arms. I said, "The Lord spoke to me and told me to come out here and restore you because you had missed it."

He began to cry again. He said, "Brother Hagin, something didn't go right on the job. I don't remember saying anything wrong, but some of them said I cursed. If I did, I don't know it. I told my wife, 'I'm not going to church anymore. The Lord doesn't love me.'" I said, "Yes, He does. He loves you, and we love you, and He sent me out here to help you—and that proves
He loves you. And we're not going to let the devil have you!"

He said, "My back is hurting me so bad!" I laid my hand on his back and said, "Dear God, You love him. I know You do. You sent me out here to help him, and I want You to heal him right now and prove to him that You love him." Suddenly he jumped like he had been shot, and he said, "It's all gone! It's all gone!" Then he began to cry in a different way. He said, "The Lord does love me, doesn't He?" I said, "Yes, He does."

And he came right on back to the Lord and right on back to church. Well, the Lord sent me out there one more time— but he was only about a month old, and what do you expect of a one-month-old child? I'm glad God has made provision for the babies. If you can't do it yourself, He has made provision for you where you can find help. (Kenneth Hagin)

OUR "FAMILY" CHEERS US ON

Then we passed something I never, ever expected to see in heaven, something that struck me as the funniest thing I had ever seen. Yet, when I understood, it was the most encouraging and moving thing I perhaps have yet seen in my Christian walk.

Hebrews 12:1 talks of a "great cloud of witnesses": Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily best us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

I saw that great cloud of witnesses. They are aware of what the Church is doing spiritually. When I am preaching, for example, they are cheering me on, yelling, "Do this, do that, go!" When "half time" comes, every one of them hits his knees and begins to pray. Half time is prayer time. Then they get back up and start cheering again.

It is as though we are in a big game, one that is serious and very real, not a game for fun. And we have some fans who are
cheering us on. They are backing us 100 percent, saying, "Go! Go get 'em! That's right! Go!" If we could clearly understand the scripture about there being one family in heaven and earth, we could hear in our spirits what the part of our family in heaven is saying. If we could hear the cloud of witnesses, we would be successful in every area of our lives. To do this, you simply have to get over into the realm of the spirit.

People ask me from time to time about real family members who have passed on: "Will I see my cousin when I get to heaven, and will I know him?" I truly believe that in God's sight, the importance of our "spiritual family" outweighs that of our natural family. Even though you will recognize your cousin once you get to heaven, you might be surprised to discover that the relationships you place the most importance on in heaven are the ones with the people God has placed in your "spiritual family," not necessarily your "natural family." DOUBLE LIFE HOLIER THAN THOU CHURCH MEMBER

We stopped at the next pit. It was exactly like all the others. Inside it was the form of a woman, which I knew by her voice. She cried out to Jesus for deliverance from the flames. Jesus looked on the woman with love and said, "While you were on earth, I called you to come to Me. I pleaded with you to get your heart right with Me before it was too late. I visited you many times in the midnight hour to tell you of My love. I wooed you, I loved you and drew you to Me by My Spirit.

"Yes Lord,' you said, 'I will follow You,' With your lips you said you loved Me, but your heart did not mean it. I knew where your heart was. I often sent my messengers to you to tell you to repent of your sins and come to Me, but you would not hear Me. I wanted to use you to minister to others, to help others to find Me. But you wanted the world and not Me. I called you, but you would not hear Me, nor would you repent of your sins." The woman said to Jesus, "You remember, Lord, how I went to church and was a good woman. I joined the church. I was a member of Your church. I knew Your call was on my life. I knew I had to obey that call at all costs, and I did."

Jesus said, "Woman, you are still full of lies and sin. I called you, but you would not hear Me! True, you were a member of a church, but being a church member did not get you to heaven. Your sins were many, and you did not repent. You caused others to stumble at My Word. You would not forgive others when they hurt you. You pretended to love and serve Me when you were with Christians, but when you were away from Christians, you lied, cheated and stole. You gave heed to seducing spirits and enjoyed your double life. You knew the straight and narrow way."
"And," Jesus said, "you also had a double tongue. You talked about your brothers and sisters in Christ. You judged them and thought you were holier than they, when there was gross sin in your heart. This I know, you would not listen to My sweet Spirit of compassion. You judged the outside of a person, without regard to the fact that many were children in the faith. You were very hard.

"Yes, you said you loved Me with your lips, but your heart was far from Me. You knew the ways of the Lord and you understood. You played with God, and God knows all things. If you had sincerely served God, you would not be here today. You cannot serve Satan and God at the same time."

Jesus turned to me and said, "Many in the last days will depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and will serve sin. Come out from among them, and be separate. Walk not in the way with them." As we walked away, the woman began to curse and swear at Jesus. She screamed and cried with rage. We walked on. I was so weak in body. (Mary. K. Baxter)

THE KINDNESS & THE SEVERITY OF GOD

I remembered what a friend had once said, "When an omniscient God asks you a question, it is not because He is seeking information." I looked at the thrones. I looked at those who were now seated. I could recognize some of the great heroes of the faith, but most of those seated I knew had not even been well known on earth. Many I knew had been missionaries who had expended their lives in obscurity. They had never cared to be remembered on earth, but only to Him. I was a bit surprised to see some who had been wealthy, or rulers who had been faithful with what they had been given. However, it seemed that faithful, praying women and mothers occupied more thrones than any other single group.

There was no way that I could answer "yes" to the Lord's question if I considered myself worthy to sit here. I was not worthy to sit in the company of any who were there. I knew I had been given the opportunity to run for the greatest prize in heaven or earth, and I had failed. I was desperate, but there was still one hope. Even though most of my life had been a failure, I knew that I was here before I had finished my life on earth. When I confessed that I was not worthy, He asked:

"But do you want this seat?"

"I do with all of my heart," I responded.

The Lord then looked at the galleries and said, "Those empty seats could have been filled in any generation. I gave the invitation to sit here to everyone who has called upon My name. They are still available. Now the last battle has come, and many who are last shall be first. These seats will be filled before the battle is over. Those who will sit here you will know by two things: they will wear the mantle of humility, and they will have My likeness. You now have the mantle. If you can keep it and do not lose it in the battle, when you return you will also have My likeness. Then you will be worthy to sit with these, because I will have made you worthy. All authority and power has been given to Me, and I alone can wield it. You will prevail, and you will be trusted with My authority only when you have come to fully abide in Me. Now turn and look at My household."

I turned and looked back in the direction I had come from. From before His throne I could see the entire room. The spectacle was beyond any earthly comparison for its glory. Millions filled the ranks. Each individual in the lowest rank was more awesome than any army, and I knew had more power. It was far beyond my capacity to absorb such a panorama of glory. Even so, I could see that only a very small portion of the great room was occupied.

I then looked back at the Lord and was astonished to see tears in His eyes. He had wiped the tears away from every eye here, but His own. As a tear ran down His cheek he caught it in His hand. He then offered it to me. "This is My cup. Will you drink it with Me?"

There was no way that I could refuse Him. As the Lord continued to look at Me I began to feel His great love. Even as foul as I was He still loved me. As undeserving as I was He wanted me to be close to Him. Then He said:


"I love all of these with a love that you cannot now understand. I also love all who are supposed to be here but did not come. I have left the ninety nine to go after the one who was lost. My shepherds would not leave the one to go after the ninety nine who are still lost. I came to save the lost. Will you share My heart to go to save the lost? Will you help to fill this room? Will you help to fill these thrones, and every other seat in this hall? Will you take up this quest to bring joy to heaven, to Me and to My Father? This judgment is for My own household, and My own house is not full. The last battle will not be over until My house is full. Only then will it be time for us to redeem the earth, and remove the evil from My creation. If you drink My cup you will love the lost the way that I loved them."

He then took a cup so plain that I was surprised that it even existed in a room of such glory, and He placed His tear in it. He then gave it to me. I have never tasted anything so bitter. I knew that I could in no way drink it all, or even much of it, but I was determined to drink as much as I could. The Lord patiently waited until I finally erupted into such crying that I felt like veritable rivers of tears were flowing from me. I was crying for the lost, but even more I was crying for the Lord.

I looked to Him in desperation as I could not take any more of this great pain. Then His peace began to fill me and mix with His love that I was feeling. Never had I felt anything so wonderful. This was the living water that I knew could spring up for eternity. Then I felt as if the waters flowing within me caught on fire. I began to feel that this fire would consume me if I could not begin declaring the majesty of His glory. I had never felt such an urge to preach, to worship Him, and to breathe every breath that I was given for the sake of His gospel.

"Lord!" I shouted out, forgetting everyone but Him. "I now know that this throne of judgment is also the throne of grace, and I ask You now for the grace to serve You. Above all things I ask You for grace! I ask You for the grace to finish my course. I ask You for the grace to love You like this so that I can be delivered from the delusions and self-centeredness that so pervert my life. I call upon You for salvation from myself and the evil of my own heart, and for this love that I now feel to flow continually in my heart. I ask You to give me Your heart, Your love. I ask You for the grace of the Holy Spirit to convict me of my sin. I ask You for the grace of the Holy Spirit to testify of You, as You really are. I ask for the grace to testify of all that You have prepared for those who come to You. I ask for the grace to be upon me to preach the reality of this judgment. I ask for the grace to share with those who are called to occupy these empty thrones, to give them words of life that will keep them on the path of life, that will impart to them the faith to do what they have been called to do. Lord, I beg You for this grace."

The Lord then stood up. Then all of those who were seated upon the thrones for as far as I could see also stood up. His eyes burned with a fire I had not seen before.

"You have called upon Me for grace. This request I never deny. You shall return, and the Holy Spirit shall be with you. Here you have tasted of both My kindness and My severity. You must remember both if you are to stay on the path of life. The true love of God includes the judgment of God. You must know both my kindness and severity or you will fall to deception. This is the grace that you have been given here, to know both. The conversations you had with your brethren here were My grace. Remember them."

He then pointed His sword toward my heart, then my mouth, then my hands. When He did this fire came from His sword and burned me with a great pain. "This too is grace," He said. "You are but one of many who have been prepared for this hour. Preach and write about all that you have seen here.
What I have said to you say to My brethren. Go and call My captains to the last battle. Go and defend the poor and the oppressed, the widows and the orphans. This is the commission of My captains, and it is where you will find them. My children are worth more to Me than the stars in the heavens. Feed My lambs. Watch over My little ones. Give the word of God to them that they may live. Go to the battle. Go and do not retreat. Go quickly for I will come quickly. Obey Me and hasten the day of My coming."

A company of angels then came and escorted me away from the throne. The leader walked beside me and began to speak.

"Now that He has stood He will not sit again until the last battle is over. He has been seated until the time when His enemies are to be put under His feet. The time has now come. The legions of angels that have been standing ready since the night of passion have now been released upon the earth. The hordes of hell have also been released. This is the time that all of creation has been waiting for. The great mystery of God will soon be finished. We will now fight until the end. We will fight with you and your brethren." (Rick Joyner)

VISIONS, REVELATIONS & DREAMS

Several years ago the Lord visited me in a dream so real I can see it to this day. It began as I slowly walked into a beautiful building that had three rooms. As I entered the door of the first room, there was Kathryn Kuhlman—just as I remembered her, in a flowing white dress. Miss Kuhlman looked straight into my eyes and said, "Follow me." Together we walked into the second room, and standing before us was Jesus, the mighty Son of God. As the dream continued, Kathryn vanished—she simply disappeared. Now I was alone with Jesus, Who spoke, saying, "Follow Me." I followed the Lord into a third room. Before me was a man who was crippled and paralyzed. A tube was inserted in his throat. As the Lord walked toward the man, he was instantly and totally healed. Then Jesus looked at me and spoke two words with great power and authority, "Do it!" But the Lord did not disappear. He remained with me in the room. I awoke from that dream, humbled and crying, "Yes, Lord. I will!" (B. Hinn)


In February 1959 in El Paso, Texas, the Lord appeared to me in a vision. He came into my room at 6:30 in the evening, sat down in a chair by my bedside, and talked with me for an hour and a half. I tell more about this in the book, but I want to emphasize something here first. He talked to me about the ministry of the prophet (Eph. 4:11,12). Then He said, "I did not put prophets in the Church to guide the New Testament Church. My Word says, 'As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.' Now if you will listen to Me, I am going to teach you how to follow My Spirit. Then I want you to teach My people how to be led by the Spirit." (K. E. Hagin)

REVELATIONS & VISIONS
As a young minister I did the same thing most Christians have done in the babyhood stage of their Christianity. I heard people talking about visions and angels, and I prayed something like that would happen to me. It never did. Then I matured spiritually so that I never expected it to happen. I did not pray that it would happen. I did not expect it. But back in 1949, I was praying one day in the last church I pastored. I had shut myself up in the church to wait on God because I had a witness in my spirit that I should do so. Then the Holy Spirit—not my spirit—spoke to me.

The Spirit spoke to me as I was waiting there in my church. The Holy Spirit said, "I am going to take you on to revelations and visions." Immediately, revelations, in line with the Word—I'm not talking about something out of line with the Bible—began to come. Then in 1950 the visions began to come. Jesus Himself appeared to me and talked to me on various occasions. There were also other visions. (Kenneth Hagin)

A vision of a brother who attended Wigglesworth’s meeting. He was lost in intercession for the hundreds of sick waiting to be ministered to for healing. He saw an opening from the platform, where the sick were, right into the glory. He saw wonderful beings in the form of men resting who, with interest, looked on. Again he looked at the platform and saw a heavenly Being clothed in white, who all the time was more active than any other in helping the sick, and when HE touched them the effect was wonderful. Bent forms were made straight, their eyes shone, they began to glorify and praise the Lord. A Voice said: "Healings are the smallest of the gifts; it is but a drop in the bucket in view of what God has in store for His children. Ye shall do greater works than these." -- Anna Lewini

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN AN UNSAVED STEPS OUT OF HIS BODY

Now, we will describe what happens to someone who dies without accepting Christ as their Savior.

At first, they will experience the same exact sensations as the first person, but that begins to change almost immediately. They too, will no longer be sick, crippled or aged. As stated before, everyone’s spirit is eternal and once you leave your physical body (no matter what condition it is in) you will have a perfectly made spirit.

You soon begin to feel the sinister presence which is coming for you and then suddenly, demons appear and take hold of you with their claw-like hands. Horror fills you as the stench of death fills the room. You are unable to fight back, because satan now owns you! No matter how you fight or scream no one will come to help you. Your family and/or friends cannot see nor hear you and even if they could, they would be helpless to prevent what is about to happen. When you reject Christ, you become the property of Hell when you die. They begin to pull you downward until everything disappears into darkness. You begin to feel the heat and hear the screaming and moaning of agonized souls.

Even though your spirit was whole when you left your body, it will not remain that way for long. Hell is also a spirit realm and because you are now a spirit being, you will feel every form of torture they have. As you enter into the yawning mouth of the underworld, other demons will start to yell in glee as they begin to mutilate your being. The pain and agony is real and fear rules supreme as your mind begins to realize what has happened to you. All this time the searing heat is blistering you and every horror you ever imagined has become real!
There will be no contact with another human being, other than the sounds of screaming and cursing made by the damned. You will never eat or drink again, although you will experience continual starvation and dehydration. Never again will you know rest or peace, just utter exhaustion and pure terror. Your mind will reach the brink of insanity, but never allowed to completely go there. There is NO escape. You are there because of the choice you made, not because God rejected you. You will remain in Hell until the end of the millennial reign of Christ upon the earth. Then Hell will give up the wicked dead and they will go before the Great White Throne Judgment where they will receive their eternal place of punishment (called the second death) which is the Lake of Fire. God is merciful, but sin cannot enter into His presence nor dwell in Heaven because He is HOLY. If you do not receive Christ as your savior, your name will not be found in the Book of Life and you will be thrown into the lake of fire. Be sure you know where your destiny lies before you die; because after death it will be too late! Do you know where yours is? (Kat Kerr)

OH, WHY DIDN'T I LISTEN!

I was holding a meeting in East Texas in the 1950s toward the close of the Korean War. One night I had something in my spirit. I knew God was speaking to a young man. I said, "Young man, I see right out in front of you — it's only a step out in front of you — a black wall." (I could see, in the Spirit, a black wall.) I told him, "And once you step into it, you're gone. I don't know what it is — but it's something right out in front of you. I do know this much. If you'll come to this altar and give your heart to Jesus, you'll be saved and never go into that darkness." That young man didn't come. The pastor even talked to him, but he wouldn't come.

The next week, while holding a meeting about 100 miles away, I got a letter from the pastor. He said, "Brother Hagin, I thought you'd be interested in knowing this. The young man whom you said was going into darkness went out and got drunk. He thought he was going home, but he went into the wrong house. He began slamming, hammering and knocking on the door. He tore the screen door off and kicked the door in. "The man of the house didn't know who was there. He unloaded both barrels of a shotgun right in the boy's face." This pastor said, "I went to the hospital and the boy was still alive. The doctors didn't understand how he had lived, and they knew he wouldn't live long.

"I talked to him and told him who I was. You couldn't look at him, it was so pitiful. But somewhere down in his throat, I heard these words come out of him: 'Oh, why didn't I listen! Why, oh why, didn't I listen? I couldn't see this darkness out in front of me, but I could feel it. If I had listened to God, I wouldn't have been drunk. If I had listened to God, I wouldn't have been out there. And then he lapsed off and never did say anything else." The poor fellow went out into eternity. Was it God's fault? No! God tried to get him to stop. God did His best to arrest his attention. But he didn't listen. He had the power to listen. Why didn't God overrule him? Because God doesn't work that way. I FIX BREAKFAST FOR MY WIFE FOR OVER 50YEARS

I've been married for more than fifty years. When I married my wife more than fifty years ago, I thought I just couldn't love her any more than I did then. But now, fifty some-odd years later, it seems as though I hardly loved her at all back then because I love her so much more now. When my wife and I were first married, we promised each other that we'd always be sweethearts. And do you know that we still are today! For example, we've made it a practice over all these years of marriage that at every meal after we've prayed, we always kiss
each other. We practice an attitude of love. Love practiced brings great rewards. Love always puts the other person first.

Now I'm not perfect, but I have always endeavored to put my wife first. Through all of these years, I've tried to do what pleases her. For example, when I'm home, I always cook
breakfast. I've done that throughout our more than fifty years of marriage. And when I make breakfast, I always give my wife the best egg, the best piece of bacon, and the best piece of toast because that's what love would do. Natural love? No! The flesh would say, "I want the best piece of bacon! I want the best of everything! I want my rights and my own way!" But I refuse to let my flesh dominate me. That would be wrong thinking, and I won't allow wrong thinking to dominate me. I let the love of God on the inside dominate me. (Kenneth E. Hagin)



LOVE DOES NOT SEEK ITS OWN

On one occasion God spoke strongly to my heart about pastoring a certain church. The congregation wanted me to be their next pastor. But the former pastor wanted his cousin to pastor the church, so he began politicking in the church to get him elected instead. The God-kind of love has never divided a church. I could have taken at least half of those church members and started another church because many of those people wanted me to be their next pastor. But I couldn't divide a church and walk in love, and no one else can either.
What astounds me is that some born-again, Spirit-filled Christians can be sheep thieves, divide churches, and steal another man's congregation, and it doesn't bother them in the least bit. Then they blame it on God, saying, "God told me to do it." But God isn't that way! Either they lied or God lied about it because God said, "Love worketh no ill to his neighbour."

Anyway, I could have divided that church and started my own church with half of this former pastor's congregation. But I chose to listen to the inward man instead of to my flesh. I listened to the love of God in me, and the Holy Spirit said to me, "You just go your way and don't divide this church." So even though I knew God had spoken to me about pastoring that church, I withdrew my name from the pastoral candidates and left town. Later on, I said to the Lord, "Lord, what about that church? What's going to happen to those people?" The Lord answered me by saying, "They will suffer because they aren't in My perfect will. They listened to the wrong people and put the wrong person in as pastor. But I'll take care of you because you acted in love." Thank God, God did take care of me and in grand style too! And do you know that before a year had come and gone, God had installed me as the pastor of that
church, and I didn't have a thing in the world to do with it either. God arranged it all! Sometimes people's problem is that when God speaks to them, they try to run over other people to try to make what God told them come to pass. Then they get out of love, and God can't bless them because they aren't in a position spiritually to receive His blessings.
