HOW TO EXERCISE YOUR AUTHORITY OVER DEVILS

I will never forget when the Lord appeared to me in
a vision in 1952 in the state of Oklahoma. He said, "I'm
going to talk to you about the devil, demons, and demon

possession.
This experience lasted about an hour and a half. Jesus
stood before me as I knelt. Suddenly an evil spirit that
looked like a monkey jumped up between us and caused
a black cloud to appear. I couldn't see Jesus, but I could
hear Him. He kept right on talking. Meanwhile, the spirit
threw his arms and legs out and hollered in a shrill voice,
"Yakety-yak, yakety-yak, yakety-yak."
He kept on acting that way and thoughts ran through
my mind faster than machine gun bullets could fire.
I thought, Dear Lord! I'm missing what Jesus is saying
(instruction He was giving me about dealing with the
devil). I heard the sound of His voice, but I couldn't
distinguish the words because of this "yakety-yak"
business. I couldn't see Jesus because the cloud was there.
Then I thought, Doesn't Jesus know? Doesn't He know
I'm not hearing Him? Why doesn't Jesus do something
about it? Why does He allow it?
Finally, in desperation, I spoke to the spirit. I said,
"I command you to shut up in the Name of Jesus!"
When I said that, he hit the floor like a sack of salt:
"kerplop." The dark cloud disappeared, and I could see
Jesus. Then Jesus said something that absolutely
astonished me — something that upended my theology.
(We get so concerned about theology that we miss the
Bible.)
Jesus pointed to that little fellow lying there (and not
only lying there — he was shaking all over, trembling from
head to foot and whining). Jesus said, "If you hadn't done
something about that, I couldn't have."
In my astonishment, I said, "Lord! I know I
misunderstood You. I'm sure I did. You didn't say you
couldn't" — and I pointed to that little fellow still lying
there whimpering and shaking all over — "You said You
wouldn't, didn't You?"
Jesus said, "I said," — and He pointed to him — "if
you hadn't done something about that, I couldn't."
Now understand "that" didn't include just the demon;
it included the dark cloud that shut off the vision of Jesus
and heaven. It included communication that didn't get
through — prayers, or whatever.
I said, "Lord, I know something happened to me. You
didn't say You couldn't; You said You wouldn't, didn't
You?"
And very emphatically He said, "No! I didn't say I
wouldn't; I said I couldn't."
"O dear Lord," I said. "I can't accept that. It's against
everything I've ever believed! It's against everything I've
ever preached!"
I said, "I won't accept any vision unless You can prove
it to me from the Bible — particularly the New Testament.
You said in Your Word, 'In the mouth of two or three
witnesses every word may be established' " (Matt. 18:16).
Do you think He got angry with me? No, He smiled
so sweetly and said, "I'll give you one better; I'll give you
four."
He said, "There's no place in the New Testament where
the Church or Christian believers are told to pray against
the devil. To pray against the devil is to waste your time."
When He said that to me I said, "Dear Lord! I've
wasted so much time!"
He said, "The New Testament tells believers
themselves to do something about the devil. And if they
don't, there won't be anything done. I've done all I'm ever
going to do about the devil."
That came as a real shock to me. "Now," He said, "I'll
give you the four references which prove that. First of all,
in Matthew 28, when I arose from the dead, I said, 'All
power is given unto me in heaven and in earth' (Matt.
28:18). The word 'power' means 'authority.' " (If you
stopped reading right there you'd say, "Why, dear Lord
Jesus, You do have authority here on the earth."
But He said, "I immediately delegated my authority
on earth to the Church." In Mark 16 we are told to go into
all the world; we're authorized to do that.
MARK 16:15-18
40 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and
preach the gospel to every creature.
41 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but
he that believeth not shall be damned.
42 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my
name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new
tongues;
43 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any
deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands
on the sick, and they shall recover.
Jesus said to me, "Not one time does any New Testament writer tell you to pray to God or to Me, the Lord
Jesus Christ, to do anything about the devil. Every single
time they tell you to do it. You're the one who has
authority. You're the one who's to rule."
The next reference He gave me was James 4:7: "Submit
yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will
flee from you. "
Now, as Jesus said, you couldn't do that if you didn't
have authority over the devil. James is writing to believers.
This is not something to be foolish about. One preacher
told me he had the devil on the run. He said the trouble
was, he was running and the devil was after him.
James says to resist the devil and he will flee. I looked
up the word "flee" to get a clearer knowledge of it. One
shade of meaning was "to run from as if in terror." The
devil will run from you in terror. Most people are running
from him in terror. They're talking about what he's doing
and how he's keeping them sick and unsuccessful. They
give the devil dominion over them. But let's talk about
what God's Word says. Let's talk about the authority we
have because of the Name of Jesus.
Sometimes people wonder why heaven seems unreal to
them. (The devil is trying to blot it out.) They wonder why
it seems they can't get through. (The devil is trying to cut
heaven off.) They pray and wonder why God permitted
a certain thing. (He has already said for you to do
something about it.)
The fourth Scripture is Ephesians 4:27: "Neither give
place to the devil. " Jesus quoted that to me, saying, "That
simply means, 'Don't let the devil have any place in you.' "
He said, "That means the devil can't take any place in you
unless you let him. That means you've got the authority."
Sometimes I'll put up with things when I know they
ought not to be. Finally I'll put my foot down and tell the
devil he's gone far enough. I tell him to stop.
God said in His Word for you to resist the devil. God
is trying to get us to exercise what really belongs to us.
And although we don't have authority over human
spirits, any Christian can take authority over the evil
spirits behind such harassment. In the privacy of your own
home, you can deal with the situation by saying, "You foul
spirit that is operating through So-and-so (call their name),
embarrassing, intimidating, hurting, deterring the
ministry of this church, I command you to stop in Jesus'

WIGGLESWORTH 'S DELIVERANCE

Smith Wigglesworth said that when he first received
a gleam of light on the subject of divine healing, he and
his wife decided they would go all out. They would trust
God until they died. They wouldn't take any kind of
medicine or see a doctor. That may sound extreme to some,
but that was their conviction.
A short time later, Wigglesworth fell in the pulpit,
doubled up with appendicitis. He was taken home, and
people prayed all night with him. When morning came,
he was worn out from the pain and suffering. He told his
wife he believed this was his home call. He finally had a
doctor examine him so an inquest wouldn't be needed. The
doctor said Wigglesworth's appendix had burst and poison
had spread throughout his system. There were no miracle
drugs for it.
He said Wigglesworth would die whether he underwent
an operation or not. The operation would only cause him
to die more easily. Wigglesworth said he wasn't going to
submit to an operation. He would just die.
Finally the doctor left. Wigglesworth was in a semi-conscious condition and would drift away now and then.
His wife was downstairs attending to the plumbing
business. He heard the door open, and looking up, he saw
an elderly lady about 82, and a boy who was 14 years old.
He knew this woman considered anything that attacked
the physical body to be of the devil. He said he would have
argued until doomsday about having a devil in him, but
they didn't wait for any argument.
The boy jumped up on the bed, dug his fist into
Wigglesworth's side, and demanded the devil to come out
in the Name of Jesus. Instantly Wigglesworth was all
right. He said he got up and dressed, went downstairs,
asked his wife if there were any orders in, and went out
to do some plumbing.
When the doctor came back, Polly Wigglesworth ran
to him and told him her husband was out on a job. The
doctor remarked that Wigglesworth "would be brought
back a corpse." In his meetings, Wigglesworth used to say
that he was that corpse.
He said after that, he prayed for people with appen-dicitis on every continent of the earth. He always would
dig his fist into their side and command the devil to come
out in the Name of Jesus. He said he'd never had a case
yet in which a person wasn't up and dressed in 15 minutes.

The Fasted Life
When I first went out in the field ministry, I set aside two days a week—Tuesday and Thursday—for my fast days. I wasn't led of the Lord to do it; I just fasted two days a week. I fasted 24 hours, because that was the way Israel did it. I took the extra time that I would have been eating to pray. Remember, fasting will not do you much good if you're not going to spend extra time praying, waiting on God. I made the greatest spiritual strides yet in my ministry during that time of fasting two days a week. I shut myself up in my church and spent many hours praying. I said to my wife, "I know when we eat. If I don't come out to eat, don't send the children after me. You'll know I'm going to skip that meal." I did quite a bit of fasting. I also did quite a bit of praying, and I spent that extra time in the Word of God. And often—because the church was next door—I got up and went over in the night to pray while everyone else was asleep. One night I prayed all night long. Many nights I prayed nearly all night long. I spent time fellowshipping with God, waiting on Him, walking up and down the aisles praying. (There was enough light from the streetlight shining through the windows that I didn't have to turn the lights on.) It wasn't just the fasting; it was the extra time I took to wait on God and spend time in His Word that did something for me spiritually. Fasting will help keep the flesh under and make you more sensitive to the Holy Spirit. Singers know this principle. If they eat a big meal and try to come out and sing, they are bogged down. Preachers know that. That's the reason we don't like to eat before we preach. If we do, we find we are uncomfortable and not so spiritually sensitive. After several years of fasting two days a week, the Lord said to me, "I would be more pleased if you would live a fasted life. I said, "What do you mean, a fasted life?" He said, “Never eat all you want. Keep your appetite under. That's all a fast is going to do anyway, keep the body under.” Do you know that is harder than fasting? I changed. I never had any more days of fasting. I never set any times of fasting unless the Spirit of God spoke to me. And I made greater spiritual strides living the fasted life. Much of the time I ate only one meal a day while I was in meetings. (I still do that much of the time.) I noticed that healings came more easily when I did this. When it came to laying hands on people to receive the Holy Spirit, I wouldn't eat at all. If we'd run into a hard spot and things weren't happening like I thought they should, I'd fast by drinking a little juice. If I needed more strength physically, I'd start eating, but I never ate all I wanted. I started having more results because I more or less constantly lived the fasted life. One time I went to Kansas City to hold a meeting. When I got there, the pastor said, "Brother Hagin, something has arisen and I've got to be out of town part of this week. You go ahead and run the meeting to suit you and I'll be back toward the end of the week." I preached Sunday night. Monday morning we had a Bible lesson at 10 a.m. Monday night I preached. Tuesday morning I preached (I usually carried two services a day). Tuesday night I preached. This was the third day. One of the deacons said to me, "Brother Hagin, how do you like the restaurant at the motel?" I stopped and said, "You know what? I never thought about it. I haven't eaten since I've been here. I forgot it." Then I said, "That restaurant is closed down. There is a sign there that says 'Closed.'" He said, "Oh, we intended for you to eat there. What have you been doing about eating?" I said, "I never thought about eating until you mentioned it." When he said something about eating, I got hungry. Until then, I had been so taken up with spiritual things I hadn't thought anything about it. (Incidentally, I ate every day from then on.) For three weeks of meetings, those were the only three days I didn't eat. I wasn't fasting; I just never thought about eating. It never dawned on me to eat. When I did begin eating, I still had just one meal a day. What I'm trying to say is there are no iron-clad rules.

I was holding a meeting in a Full Gospel church in Houston, Texas, a number of years ago, and I was staying in the parsonage. The pastor's wife never said one word to me about her poor physical condition. (She had prayed for years and never had received anything.) God began to move in the services and bless people. Many were being healed. Afterwards, this pastor's wife testified, "I saw others being healed and I fasted." (She fixed something for her husband and me to eat, but she never sat down with us.) "I fasted and prayed a couple of days," she said, "and told the Lord I knew He could heal me." One night I was ministering after I preached, and I had a revelation concerning her. I began telling her what was wrong with her, because I saw it in the spirit; the Lord told me exactly what was wrong with her. The Word of Knowledge was in operation, and she received complete healing. (K. E. H)


Smith Wigglesworth said there were two young fellows in England who saw God's power demonstrated in his meetings at his wife's mission. "We wouldn't be surprised but what God would lead you down to Wales to raise up our Lazarus," they told him. They explained that Lazarus was a man who had spent his days working in a tin mine and his nights preaching. He had collapsed and become ill with tuberculosis, and for four years had been a helpless invalid, having to be fed with a spoon. Two years later the Lord spoke to Wigglesworth. Often this great man of faith would walk in the countryside. One day he climbed one of the highest mountains in Wales. He was on top, enveloped in the presence of God, when the Lord said to him, "I want you to go raise Lazarus." Wigglesworth wrote down what the Lord had said on a postcard, and mailed it to Lazarus' home. When he arrived, he was greeted at the door by a man holding the card. "Did you send this?" the man asked. "Do you think we believe in this? Here, take it!" And he threw it at Wigglesworth. Then the man called a servant and said, "Take this man and show him Lazarus." He said to Wigglesworth, "The moment you see him, you will be ready to go home." From the natural standpoint, this was true. The man was helpless. He was nothing but a mass of skin and bones —and he didn't have an ounce of faith. Wigglesworth knew when God has spoken, you don't give in. He left, but overnight rounded up seven others to stand with him in prayer. That night the Spirit of the Lord told him not to eat, so he skipped the evening meal and skipped breakfast the following morning. (He believed prayer and fasting to be a great joy.) The next day the eight of them went back to Lazarus' house. The same man let them in, and there lay that poor fellow looking like a corpse. While Smith had been fasting, God had told him what to do: "Don't pray; don't anoint him with oil; don't touch him. All eight of you gather around the bed, hold hands, and repeat the Name of Jesus." So he said, "We just stood around the bed and said, 'Jesus, Jesus, Jesus (all eight of them in unison), Jesus, Jesus!'" As they spoke, the power of God fell. Then it lifted like a cloud. They continued to hold hands and say, "Jesus, Jesus" and the power kept coming down and lifting. The sixth time it came down Lazarus said, "I've been bitter in my heart, and I know I have grieved the Spirit of God." He repented and cried out, "O God, let this be to thy glory." As he said that, the power of God went through him, healing him. Lazarus got up and dressed himself without any assistance. Then he and Smith walked downstairs singing the Doxology. Lazarus testified in an open-air meeting what God had done and many were saved. All the Spirit had said to Smith was, "Just miss two

SAY THE TRUTH AND AVOID GREED

Many years ago a fellow (who would do anything for money) helped me in one of my meetings. But he didn't last long in my ministry when I saw what his motives were. It seemed like he'd practically just lie awake at night trying to figure out how to get money out of people. We were using the church auditorium of a large Full Gospel church to hold a meeting. Our budget for the meetings included the expenses of a daily radio program, newspaper advertisements, and then our own expenses. Well, this fellow would make the announcements, and I'd stay back in the speaker room and pray until it was time for me to preach. This fellow and I had made the agreement that once our expenses were met, we would divide whatever money was left over between us, and that would be our support. We ran the meetings four weeks. After the second week of meetings, this fellow came to me and said, "We've already got enough money to pay for our expenses. "But let's not tell the people that because they are giving so good. Let's just keep on like we're raising money for the radio program and for the expenses of the meeting."
"No," I said, "that would be lying. We're not going to do that."
"But we're going to miss an opportunity if we don't," he said.
"We could really clean up here." I said, "No, we're not going to do that because we've got our word out. We told the people what we would do, and we're going to do what we said we'd do." "Well," he said, "I'm the one out there taking up the offering. I'm just going to go ahead and do it."
"No, you're not," I said, "because there's a speaker back there in the room where I'm praying. And if you say that, I'm going to come right out, get on the platform, and tell the folks you're lying."
"Well," he said, "you're going to miss it! I'll tell you that right now! I see that you just don't know how to make it."
Well, that was the last time he ever took up an offering for me. Somehow, no one has heard from that fellow for years, but I'm still out there preaching the Word! Somehow, I managed to make it by telling the truth and by doing unto others as I'd have them do unto me. Some folks are just out to do in the other fellow. Instead of doing the other fellow in, they should be trying to outdo the other fellow in love! We ought to try to figure out how to be a blessing to people! We need to be asking ourselves, How can I bless people? How can I do good to them? (Kenneth E Hagin)

HEALING OF A MARRIAGE

I was holding a meeting in a certain place, and for three nights in a row a young married woman would stay at the altar, crying pathetically, after everyone was dismissed.

She would pray in tongues. I knew it was her spirit crying out for help and deliverance. I asked the Lord to show me how to help this young woman. Suddenly I had a vision of her when she was 9 years old. I saw her coming home from school one day, and when she came into the house she found her mother in bed with another man. You can understand what that would do to
the emotions of a 9 year old.

She was now in her 20s. I saw in the Spirit that her trouble was marital trouble. I saw that she had been married two years but because of this emotional block was unable to consummate the marriage. It was breaking the marriage up. I went to the pastor and asked him if he knew what was wrong with her. He asked if I did, and I told him I did because the Lord had shown me. He said if I knew what to do, I should go ahead and do it. He had prayed and fasted and talked to both of them, but she was getting ready to leave her husband. He wasn't even a Christian, but she was saved and filled with the Spirit. I went to the young woman and asked if I could speak to her. She said I could. I asked her if she knew what was wrong with her. Then she asked me if I did, and I told her yes. She asked if the pastor had talked to me and I said no.

I told her about my vision. She thought I was a fortune teller, but I told her what I had experienced was from the Spirit of God. After that, she told me that what I had seen was exactly what had happened. She said she loved her husband but never had been able to be a wife to him. I told her that it was wrong for her mother to be in bed with another man, but that marriage wasn't wrong. After giving her a Scripture and talking to her, I laid hands on her and cast that thing out.

The next year I went back to preach a meeting there and she and her husband had a bouncing baby boy whom they had named after me. The husband was now saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. The home was together. I don't believe that woman had anything in her spirit. But this thing that had gotten into her emotional realm or soul when she was 9 years old still dominated her and had to be dealt with.

Now can you understand why we have problems in our churches? We sometimes act as though problems don't exist. But there is a day coming (we're in the edge of it right now) when we'll see and know these things as we ought. We'll not have to go out in the world to the unsaved for help. People in the church shouldn't go to unsaved marriage counselors for help. There's help in God. (Kenneth E. Hagin)

A SECRET OF LIVING ABOVE SICKNESS

Dr. John G. Lake traveled to Africa as a missionary at the turn of the century. He originally had been a Methodist minister, but had gotten discouraged. He quit the ministry and went into the insurance business, becoming very successful.

Later, he got back into fellowship with God and received the baptism in the Holy Spirit. He went to Africa, where he preached and established hundreds of churches in five years. While he was there, an outbreak of bubonic plague occurred.

In the book The John G. Lake Sermons on Dominion Over Demons, Disease and Death, edited by Gordon Lindsay, Dr. Lake recalled that he and a Dutchman buried many who had died from the plague. They went into the people's homes, carried the bodies out, dug the graves, and buried the dead. "Sometimes we would put three or four in one grave," Lake noted. Yet he and the Dutchman never contracted the disease.

The plague was so severe that the British government sent a shipload of doctors and medical supplies to South Africa to relieve the suffering. Hearing of Lake's work, one of the doctors sent for him. He asked Lake, "What have you been using to protect yourself? . . .We concluded that if a man could stay on the ground as you have, and keep ministering to the sick and burying the dead, you must have a secret. What is it?"
Lake answered, "Brother, that is the 'law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.' I believe that just as long as I keep my soul in contact with the living God so that His Spirit is flowing into my soul and body, that no germ will ever attach itself to me, for the Spirit of God will kill it."

The doctor suggested that Lake use the same preventatives that the doctors were using as protection from the plague. But Lake, who was deeply interested in science, suggested a scientific experiment instead.

He said, "If you will go over to one of these dead people and take the foam that comes out of their lungs after death, then put it under the microscope, you will see masses of living germs. You will find they are alive until a reasonable time after a man is dead. You can fill my hand with them and I will keep it under the microscope, and instead of these germs remaining alive, they will die instantly."

Lake wrote, "They tried it and found it was true." When they wanted to know how it worked, Lake explained, "That is 'the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.' When a man's spirit and a man's body are filled with the blessed presence of God, it oozes out of the pores of your flesh and kills the germs." Lake had found the secret. It is knowledge acted upon that brings results. (Kenneth E. Hagin)

SPEAK THE WORD ONLY: DON’T BE MOVED BY MANIFESTATIONS

Many years ago when I was pastoring a little church in Texas, a woman brought her violently insane sister to the parsonage to be prayed for. Because this woman had tried to kill herself and others, she had been in a padded cell for two years.

However, her health had deteriorated, and doctors had recommended a furlough at home for her, because she was no longer considered dangerous. When her sister introduced me as a "preacher," Scriptures started to roll out of this woman's mouth. She thought she had committed the unpardonable sin. The Lord told me to stand in front of her and say, "Come out, thou unclean devil, in the Name of Jesus!" I did that, but nothing happened. She just sat there looking like a statue. I knew I had spoken the word of faith. You don't have to stand there all day long and command devils to come out.

They're going to do it when you tell them to if you know your authority. They have to go once the command is given in faith. Two days later I was told the woman was having a violent attack similar to the kind she had had when she first lost her mind. This news didn't disturb me. In the Bible we read that when Jesus rebuked the devil in such cases, people would fall and the devil would tear them. I knew the devil was just tearing this woman before he left her for good. I knew she wouldn't have any more spells, and she didn't. The doctors pronounced her normal and sent her home for good. Twenty years later she was happy and healthy, teaching a Sunday School class and working in a business.

Faith is involved in exercising spiritual authority. Yes, there are times when evil spirits come out immediately, but if they don't when you speak the word of faith, don't get disturbed about it. I base my faith on what the Word says. Some people's faith is not based on the Bible, however, it's based on a manifestation. They operate outside faith in the sense realm. If they get certain manifestations, they think the devil's gone. But he isn't gone just because you get a manifestation. He's still there, and you need to know that and exercise your authority.

When circumstances don't change immediately, some people become discouraged and slip back into the natural. They start talking unbelief and they defeat themselves. They give the devil dominion over them. As Smith Wigglesworth often said, "I'm not moved by what I see. I'm not moved by what I feel. I'm moved only by what I believe." So stand your ground. STOP NAGGING & COMPLAINING – WALK IN LOVE

A woman came up to me after a convention a number of years ago. She said, "Brother Hagin, I want you to promise me something."
"Well, what is it? I'm not going to promise until you tell me what it is." I replied
Then she tuned up and began to bawl a little bit. I'm not making fun of her; I'm just stating facts. She said, "I'm a widow, and I have a fifteen-year-old son. He wasn't raised up in church because I've only been a Christian for the last three years. Well, he's just wild, and I can't do a thing in the world with him. He's out late at night until three and four o'clock in the morning. "I just lie in bed waiting for the phone to ring and for the authorities to call telling me that he's been arrested because he's into drugs and different things. I want you to promise me that you'll pray for him every day."
I said to her, "I'm not going to do it! I'm not going to make a promise like that because from all probability, I'd never remember to pray for him every day."
"Well, then just pray for him when it comes to you." She said
I said, "I'm not even going to pray for him at all." I said that to get her attention. She looked at me and blinked like a frog in a west Texas hail storm. "You're not?" she asked.
"No, I'm not. I'm not going to pray one single prayer
for him."
"You're not?" "No, I'm not." I continued, "It wouldn't do any good for me to pray for him as long as you keep on going the way you're going." She said, "What do you mean?" I said, "As long as you keep condemning him, my praying wouldn't do any good. I daresay that you're on him all the time, constantly trying to poke religion down him and trying to push Jesus off on him." "How do you know I'm that way?" "Because of the way he turned out," I said. "You've turned him off to God. No, you promise me something. From this day forward, don't say one more word to him about Jesus. And don't keep getting after him all the time." I continued, "Don't even get after him to go to church. Don't say one word to him about religion, the Bible, church, Jesus, or anything. Just act in love toward him." Then I said, "And when he's out at night, quit lying
there worrying. Instead just say, 'Lord, I surround him with faith and love.'" You see, faith doesn't work without love. This woman was short-circuiting her own faith because she wasn't walking in love toward her son. She only spoke negatively about him; she didn't speak anything positive or say anything about him that demonstrated the God-kind of love. I told her, "Just say, I surround him with faith and love. I don't believe he's going to wind up in jail. I believe he's going to serve God.'"
She said, "But I don't know whether I believe that or
not." I said, "Start believing it! And if you'll just start saying it, eventually you'll start believing it. Then go on to sleep and forget it. Just leave him alone." "Well, I'll try," she said. "It won't work by trying," I said. "It only works by doing it!" "All right. Then I'll do it. But you're still going to pray for him, aren't you?" "No," I said, "I'm not going to pray for him. You're going to do it." You see, this woman's problem was that she hadn't put any action to her faith. Her wrong believing, wrong thinking, and wrong speaking had hindered her faith. Love is the action that motivates faith. Love gives faith its power. About fifteen months later, I was in the same area teaching at a convention. A woman came up to me after the service. She said, "Do you remember me?" I said, "No, ma'am, I don't. I see a lot of folks."
"Well, about fifteen months ago you came here, and I asked you to pray every day for my son." "Oh, I remember. But I didn't recognize you! You look so different." Actually, she looked so much younger and prettier. She said, "Well, I went home, and I did just what you said. I want to tell you—it was tough on me! But I did it. And do you know what?" "What?" I asked. "About six months ago, my son came home at four o'clock in the morning on a Saturday night. Well, I got up the next morning when I usually do and started fixing breakfast because I was going to Sunday school and church. "My son got up and ate breakfast with me, and said, 'Mom, I believe I'll go with you to Sunday school and church this morning.' "On the inside of me something was turning flips. But on the outside, I just said, 'Now, son, you didn't get in until late. You need your rest. You've got to go to school tomorrow.'" "No," he said, "I want to go." She said, "I just acted like I didn't care if he went to church with me or not. But he did go to church with me. Then she said, "The next Saturday night, the same thing happened. He got in about four o'clock. But the next morning he got up and ate breakfast with me. Then he said, 'Mom, I believe I'll go to Sunday school and church with you this morning.'" I told him, "But, son, you need your rest. You've got to go to school tomorrow." "No," he said, "I want to go." So he went. "Then that same Sunday night, he said, 'I believe I'll go to church with you tonight.' He went to church that night, and when the altar call was given, he went to the altar and got saved." She said, "You know, before he was saved, he was one-hundred percent for the devil. But now that he's born again, he's one-hundred and twenty percent for God! I believe he's going to turn into a preacher!" She added, "I'm so glad I've got a brand-new boy! I'm so glad you told me the things to do." Then she thanked me and turned around and walked off. Then she came back and said, "Do you know what else? Not only have I got a brand-new boy, but he's got a brand-new mamma." She said, "You know, I don't worry about him anymore. I learned how to pray in faith and walk in love. "Sometimes I almost have to pinch myself and say, 'Is this really you?' because I think so differently now." It makes a lot of difference, friends, when you walk in love. When you walk in love, your faith will work.

PROPHECY CONCERNING MILLENIAL REIGN

I want to show you the love and goodness of God . I want you to see the wondrous works of the Lord, which are so beautiful to behold.

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are all one. The Father and the Son are one, and the Father and the Holy Spirit are one. I sent My Son to die on a cross so that no one needs to be lost.
I am about to show you the place I made for My children. I care greatly about all children. I care when a mother loses a child, even as the fruit. You see, I know all things, and I care.
From the time there is life in the womb, I know. I know about the babies that are murdered while they are still in their mother’s bodies - the aborted lives that are cut off and unwanted. I know about the stillborn and those children who are born with crippling defects. From the time of conception, each is a soul.
My angels go down and bring the children to Me when they die. In heaven they are loved, and they become perfect beings. I give them whole bodies and restore whatever parts are missing. I give them perfected bodies.

RAPTURE, TRIBULATION, MILLENIAL REIGN ETC
Soon I will return and take back with Me to heaven the righteous dead first. Then after them, those who are alive and remain will be caught up to be with Me in the air. Following that, the Antichrist will reign upon the earth for an appointed time, and there will be tribulations such as have never been before, nor will ever be again. And then I will return with My saints, and Satan will be cast into the bottomless pit, where he will remain for a thousand years. During that thousand years, I will reign over the earth from Jerusalem. When the Millennium is past, Satan will be released for a season, and I will defeat him by the brightness of My coming. The old earth will pass away. Behold, there shall be a new earth and a New Jerusalem coming down upon it, and I will reign forever and ever.

THE PREACHER PREACHES

Repent and be saved, for the kingdom of God is at hand. My will and My Word will be performed. Prepare the way of the Lord.
Those of you who are rich in this present age, do not to be haughty, nor trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy (1 Timothy 6:17).

Walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh (Galatians 5:16).

"Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life" (Galatians 6:7-.

"Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Mine have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires" (Galatians 5:19-24).

When the Word of God is fulfilled, then the end will come. No man knows the day or the hour when the Son of God will return to the earth. Not even the Son knows, for that is known only by the Father. The Word is quickly being fulfilled. Come as a little child, and let Me cleanse you from the works of the flesh. Say to Me, "Lord Jesus, come into my heart and forgive me of my sins. I know that I am a sinner, and I repent of my sins. Wash me in Your blood, and make me clean. I have sinned against heaven and before You and am not worthy to be called a son. I receive You by faith as my Savior."

I will give you pastors after My own heart, and I will be your Shepherd. You will be My people, and I will be your God. Read the Word, and do not forsake the assembling of yourselves together. Give your whole life to Me, and I will keep you. I will never leave or forsake you.

INSIDE INFO ABOUT HELL THE LIPS OF JESUS

Child, when I speak, the Father has spoken. The Father and I are one. Remember to love above all else and to forgive one another. Come now, follow Me.

My child, you are to let the world know that sin results in death, that hell is real.

When people go to hell fire, they have the same feelings and thoughts as when they were on earth. They remember their families and friends and all the times they had a chance to repent but refused to do so. Memory is always with them. If only they had believed the gospel and repented before it was too late.

Hell has a body (like a human form) lying on her back in the center of the earth. Hell is shaped like a human body- very large and with many chambers of torment. Remember to tell people that hell is real. Millions of lost souls are in hell, and more are coming every day. On the Great Judgment Day, death and hell will be cast into the lake of fire; that will be the second death.

My child, God, our Father, gave each one of us a will so that we could choose whether we would serve Him or Satan. You see, God did not make hell for His people. Satan deceives many into following him, but hell was made for Satan and his angels. It is not My desire, nor that of My Father, that anyone should perish.

Remember My words in the days ahead as. I have all power in heaven and earth. Now, at times it will seem to you that I have left you, but I have not. Be at peace and fear not to follow Me.

My Word is true, and it declares that all must repent and turn from their sins and ask Me to come into their lives if they are to escape hell. Through My blood there is forgiveness of sins. I am faithful and just and will forgive all those who come to Me. I will not cast them out.

Child, it is not the Father's will that anyone perish. Satan deceives many, and they follow him. But God is forgiving. He is a God of love. If those who are eternally lost had truly come unto the Father and repented, He would have forgiven them.

Many in the last days will depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and will serve sin. Come out from among them, and be separate. Walk not in the way with them.

I call different ones for different purposes in My body. But if man or woman, boy or girl doesn't want My Spirit, I will depart.

Hell is shaped like a human body lying in the center of the earth. The body is lying on her back, with both arms and both legs stretched out. As I have a body of believers, so hell has a body of sin and death. As the Christ-body is built up daily, so the hell-body is also built up daily.

Demonic powers are real. Satan’s power is also real, and the powers of darkness are real. Do not despair, for if My people which are called by My name wil humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and heal their lands and their bodies. Just as surely as heaven is real-even so, hell is also real.

Listen to Me, take heed you ministers of the gospel, for these are faithful and true sayings. Awake, evangelists, preachers, and teachers of My Word, all of you who are called to preach the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. If you are sinning, repent or you will likewise perish.

Child, there are many souls in torment in hell, and there are many different types of torment for these souls. There is greater punishment for those who once preached the gospel and went back into sin, or for those who would not obey the call of God for their lives.

My child, it is better to have never known Me than to know Me and turn back from serving Me. Satan himself torments those who once preached My Word and saved souls for My kingdom.

Listen and hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches," He said. "Be ready, for at a time you think not, I will come again. I hear the clock striking. It is twelve o'clock. The Bridegroom has come for His bride.

I will protect you from evil. I will keep you in all your ways. I will save you. I will save your loved ones. Call upon Me today and live

Child, Satan is both the deceiver on earth and the tormentor of souls in hell. Many of the demonic powers in hell also go up on the earth at times to hurt, afflict and deceive. I am going to show you things that have never before been seen in this much detail. Some of the things you see will be happening now, while others are yet to happen in the future.

Satan uses many traps and snares to deceive God's people. I will show you many of the cunning and insidious tricks of the devil.

I gave My life so you would not have to go to hell. I knew horrors of hell were real, but My Father's mercy is just as real. If you will let Him, He will forgive you. Call to Him in My name today.

I want to show you how Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy. In hell there are different torments for different souls. Satan administer this torment until the day of judgment, till death and hell are cast into the lake of fire. Also, a lake of fire comes through hell at times.

Just as the true gospel is preached to us by a real minister, so Satan has his counterfeit ministers. Many people give their souls to Satan. They choose to serve him instead of Me. Their choice is death unless they repent of their sins and call upon Me. I am faithful, and I will save them from their sins. Many also sell their souls to Satan thinking they will live forever. But they will die a horrible death. "Satan still thinks he can overthrow God and disrupt God's plan, but he was defeated at the cross. I took the keys away from Satan, and I have all power in heaven and in earth.

I came to save all men. I desire that all who are lost will repent and call upon My name. It is not My will that any should perish, but have everlasting life. Sad to say, most will not repent of their sins before they die, and they will go to hell. But the way to heaven is the same for all people. You must be born again to enter the kingdom of God. You must come to the Father in My name and repent of your sins. You must sincerely give your heart to God and serve Him.

I want the world to hear and know what the Spirit is saying to the churches. Each time the cells in hell are filled, hell enlarges itself to receive even more souls. You have all your senses in hell. And if you were blind on earth, you will be blind in hell. If you had only one arm on earth, you will have only one arm in hell.

I took the keys of hell away from Satan many years ago. I went to hell, opened the cell of former Abraham's bossom and let My people out. For in the time of the Old Testament before I actually gave My life on the cross, paradise was situated close to hell. These cells were once in paradise; now Satan uses them for his evil purposes and has made more. O reader, will you repent of your sins before it is eternally too late? For all shall come before Me in the judgment. Paradise was moved from its position near hell when I died and rose again by the power of God, My Father.
Again, I will tell you that these cells, which are seventeen miles high, serve as a prison for those who once were Satan's workers of darkness, those involved with any kind of sin that had to do with demonic powers, the occult and satanic worship.

Satan feeds on evil. He glories in pain and suffering and gains power from it. All those who occupy the cells of hell heard the true gospel while they were alive on earth. Many times My salvation was offered to them. Many times My Spirit drew them, but they would not hearken or come unto Me to be saved.

A WORD OF PROPHECY FOR YOU

My angels keep My people from evil spirits, and their works do not prosper. I also protect many of the unsaved, even though they do not know it. I have many angels employed to stop Satan's wicked plans. There are many demons in the air and on the earth. That is why the truth of the gospel must be preached to everyone. The truth will set men free, and I will protect them from evil. In My name there is deliverance and freedom. I have all power in heaven and earth. Do not fear Satan, but fear God.

OUTER DARKNESS
Remember that My Word says, 'The children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth’.
Servants that turned back after I called them. Servants who loved the world more than Me and went back to wallowing in the mire of sin. Servants that would not stand for the truth and for holiness. It is better that one never starts than to turn back after beginning to serve Me.

Believe Me, if you sin, you have an advocate with the Father. If you repent of your sins, I will be faithful to cleanse you of all unrighteousness. But if you will not repent, I will come in a time you think not, and you will be cut off with the unbelievers and cast into outer darkness. My Word means just what it says; they 'shall be cast into outer darkness’’.

He who has ears should hear. He who has eyes should see. My child, cry out against sin and evil. Tell my servants to be faithful and to call upon the name of the Lord. Some will say God is too good to send men and women to hell. But My Word is true. The fearful and unbelieving will have their part in the lake of fire.

You are in a war, Good against evil. Men will become lovers of themselves instead of God. Evil will be rampant in the last days. Men and women will love their homes, cars, lands, buildings, businesses, their silver and their gold more than Me. Repent, for I am a jealous God. Nothing can be placed before your worship of Me -not sons or daughters or wives or husbands. For God is a Spirit, and He must be worshiped in Spirit and truth.

Many boys and girls, men and women are forced against their wills to commit atrocious acts-I know and will not hold this sin to their charge. Remember this though, I know all things, and the persons who made these youths to sin have the greater punishment. I will judge righteously. To the sinner, I say, 'Repent, and I will have mercy. Call on Me and I will hear.' Time after time I call out to souls to repent and to come unto Me. I will forgive them and cleansed them if they come to me; and in My name they will be set free. But they would not listen to Me. Because I Am holy, you must be holy. 'touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you.

My blood was shed so that everyone could come to Me. I gave My life that even the vilest of sinners might live. Come, hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. The end is near, and I Am calling sinners to repent and be saved

I love you and your family. Let Me correct you in love. I will keep you and your family from evil if you will put your trust in Me.

Satan uses many devices to destroy good men and women. He works day and night, trying to get people to serve him. If you fail to choose to serve God, you have chosen to serve the devil. Choose life, and the truth will set you free.

THE PASTOR WHO WAS ULCEROUS FOR HOLDING GRUDGES

When I was out in field ministry holding meetings, I happened to run into a pastor who had a church in that city. He didn't look well, so I asked him, "What's wrong with you?"
He asked me, "Do you know Brother So-and-so?"
I said, "Yes."
"Well," this pastor said, "he came into my town and started another church."
"Your town?" I asked. "Yes."
"I didn't know this town belonged to you," I said.
"Well, I was the only Full Gospel church here," he said. "He did me wrong by starting another church here, and I will never forgive him for it." Then he asked, "Kenneth, would you pray for me? I've got ulcers." Well, I knew right then what had caused his ulcers. I knew it wouldn't do any good to pray for his healing because he still had animosity and unforgiveness in his heart. Besides, I happened to know that under all the rules of that pastor's particular denomination, the other pastor was perfectly within his rights to start a church in that city. Not only that, but I knew something about the situation. Actually some other people started the church, not the other pastor. The people got together and said, "We want a church in our end of town," so they organized the church, got it started with sixty-seven people, and elected this new pastor. That new pastor didn't even start that church. The people had even raised several thousand dollars, had bought a lot, and were ready to build a church building on it before the other pastor was even voted in to that church. I said to this first pastor, "You ought to pray that
God would send someone else into this town to start another church!" Then I asked him, "How many people were you averaging in Sunday school before this other church started?"
He said, "About one hundred thirteen people, including kids, babies, and everyone." I asked, "How many people are you averaging now in Sunday school?" He said, "Oh, anywhere from two hundred forty to two hundred sixty people." "How many is that other pastor averaging?" "Well, I'm sorry to say, anywhere from two hundred sixty to two hundred eighty people. They're beating us!" Can you imagine an attitude like that from a man of God! That wasn't the love of God in demonstration. No, it was selfish, human love showing up. I said to him, "Whooo! Glory to God! Think about that! Here you are in this little ole town of fifteen hundred people, and in the last two years you are both reaching more than five hundred people every Sunday! You ought to pray another pastor into the east end of town. Then you ought to pray that someone would start a church in the north end of town."
"Yes, but this is my territory. He moved in on my territory. I just can't forgive him. I want to, but I can't. But I want you to pray for me." I knew it wouldn't do any good to pray for his healing until he made an adjustment in his heart. It would have done no more good to pray for him than to say, "Twinkle, twinkle little star. How I wonder what you are." Later, I heard that this pastor had been operated on for ulcers of the stomach. Soon after that I saw him
again at a convention. He said, "I was operated on for ulcers of the stomach, but the ulcers have come back again. Would you pray for me?" But I knew it wouldn't do any good to pray for his
healing until he got that grudge out of his heart toward his brother and fellow minister. And thank God he did. When he finally repented for holding unforgiveness against this other pastor, he never had any more stomach problems, and he never had another operation. Those ulcers completely disappeared. Love and forgiveness go hand in hand. You can't say you're walking in love if you harbor ill will in your heart. Every step out of love is a step into sin. You can't walk in health and healing if you entertain unforgiveness or grudges in your heart. If you get out of the love walk, get back in just as fast as you can. Then you can live under God's abundant provision and promises and enjoy His best blessings in your life. Not walking in love toward the brethren can affect your health. It can even shorten your life because it allows the devil a foothold in your life. (Kenneth E Hagin)

PROPHECY CONCERNING THE END AND LOVE

In My name, I give My children power over these evil ones. Listen and learn how to pray. Behold, what you bind on earth, I will bind in heaven. Satan must be bound if the prayers of the saints are to be effective in these last days. My child, in My name, evil has to flee. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. My people must believe, and they must agree with each other and with Me, if all things are to be put under the Father's feet. Without faith it is impossible to please God. But the Lord is faithful, and He will establish you.

All things are possible to them that believe. I watch over My Word to perform it. You do your part, and you can know that I will do Mine. If my people will stand for truth and fight the good fight, wonderful things will happen as on the Day of Pentecost. Call upon Me and I will hear. I will be your God and you will be My people. I will establish you in righteousness, truth and sincerity. I shall return to redeem My bride, My church. Awaken, O My people Sound the alarm to the corners of the earth, for I shall return as My Word has spoken.

Those that worship the beast and his image shall perish. Many shall be deceived and will fall, but I will save my children from the beast. These things will take place in the end times. Do not take the mark of the beast. Repent now before it is too late. The beast will call himself a man of peace. And he will bring peace to many nations out of a very chaotic time. He will be able to supply the world with many inexpensive goods, and he will assure that everyone's pay is sufficient. He will make an alliance with many nations, and the great men of the world will follow him into a false sense of security. "Before these times I will raise up an army of believers that will stand for truth and righteousness. The mighty army that Joel spoke about will hear My voice from the rising to the going down of the sun. In the night hours also they will hear My voice, and they will answer Me. They will work for Me, and they will run like mighty men of war. They shall do great works for Me, for I will be with them.

"If the people of the earth will listen to Me and repent of their sins, I will hold back the workings of the Antichrist and the beast till there comes a time of refreshing. Didn't the people of Nineveh repent at the preaching of Jonah? I am the same yesterday, today and forever. Repent, and I will send a time of blessing. My people should love one another and help one another. They must hate sin and love the sinner. By this love shall all men know that you are My disciples.

O foolish people and slow of heart, awaken to the truth, and love one another with fervent love. Help the helpless. Give to those in need without any thought of getting anything in return. If you will repent, O earth, I will bless you and not curse you. Awaken from your sleep, and come unto Me. Humble yourselves and bow your hearts before Me, and I will come and live with you. You will be My people, and I will be your God.

Repent and be saved, for the kingdom of God is at hand. My will and My Word will be performed. Prepare the way of the Lord.

I do not desire that you go to hell. I made you for My own joy and for everlasting fellowship. You are My creation, and I love you. Call upon Me while I am near, and I will hear and answer you. I want to forgive you and bless you. Forget not the assembling of yourselves. Come together and pray and study My Word. Worship Me in the spirit of holiness. My angels fight always for the heirs of salvation and for those who will become heirs. I do not change. I am the same yesterday, today and forever. Seek Me, and I will pour out My Spirit upon you. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. I will do great things among you.

THE STAGGERING EFFECT OF PRAYING THE WORD

The turning point in my life came when I prayed EPHESIANS 3:14-19 ….for myself more than a thousand times. I started by reading them aloud, beginning with the first chapter. I personalized the prayers by saying "me" wherever Paul said "you."

For example, reading Ephesians 3:14-17, I would say, "For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant me, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in my heart by faith ...."

I spent much time praying these two prayers on my knees at the altar of the last church I pastored in East Texas. I kept my Bible open before me to these prayers and prayed them for myself several times a day. Sometimes I told my wife I was going next door to the church to pray and didn't want to be bothered except in an emergency. Sometimes I stayed in prayer two or three days at a time.

I spent about six months praying this way during the winter of 1947-48. Then the first thing I was praying for started to happen. I had been praying for "the spirit of wisdom and revelation" (Eph. 1:17), and the spirit of revelation began to function! I began to see things in the Bible I had never seen before. It just began to open up to me.

I advanced more in spiritual growth and knowledge of the Word in those six months than I had in 14 years as a minister and in more than 16 years as a Christian. That was one of the greatest spiritual discoveries I ever made. I said to my wife, "What in the world have I been preaching? I was so ignorant of the Bible, it's a wonder the deacons didn't have to come by and tell me to get in out of the rain!"

We must have this spirit of wisdom and revelation of Christ and His Word if we are to grow. It is not going to be imparted to us through our intellect, either. The Holy Spirit must unveil it to us. People often want to know how to pray for fellow Christians. If you start praying these Ephesian prayers for them, you'll see results in their lives. I suggest you pray the prayers for yourself, too.

Years ago, I prayed these prayers twice a day, morning and evening, for a family member. He needed healing desperately, yet he couldn't seem to grasp what the Bible teaches about divine healing. When I prayed, I inserted this person's name in the prayers as I had previously inserted my own. Within 10 days, he wrote me, saying, "I'm beginning to see things I never saw before." (The minute you get scriptural, things happen.) It was surprising how fast my kinfolks changed once I started praying for them scripturally. (I had been praying for some of them for years with no results.) (Kenneth E. Hagin)

PROPHETIC LECTURE FROM JESUS.

All the gifts of the Spirit would be in operation in the Church in these last days. The modern Church would do greater things than the Acts of the Apostles records.

From this moment on, the gift that is known in My Word as the gift of discerning of spirits will operate in your ministry.

I said that in my Name the demon or demons will leave! Call them out in my Name, and they will leave the body in my Name!

I am going to teach you concerning the devil, demons, and demon possession, from this night forward, what is known in my Word as the gift of discerning of spirits will operate in your life when you are in the Spirit. I will show you how these spirits get hold of people and dominate them — even Christians, if they allow them to.

There are four classes of demons or evil spirits, and they are divided into four groups as mentioned in Ephesians "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness [wicked spirits] in high places" (Eph. 6:12). There are four divisions:
(1) principalities,
(2) powers,
(3) rulers of the darkness of this world,
(4) and wicked spirits in high places or in the heavenlies.
The highest spirits with which you have to deal are the rulers of the darkness of this world.
The whole world lies in darkness, but you believers are children of light and not of darkness. The highest types of demons with which you have to deal on earth, the rulers of the darkness of this world, rule all unsaved people, all who are in darkness. They rule over them and dominate them.

"That is why people do and say things that they don't intend to. That is why some good people say, 'I would never do anything like that,' and before a year has passed they have done something worse. This is because they are dominated by the rulers of the darkness of this world. They are in the kingdom of darkness. And whether you want to admit it or not, even your close friends and relatives or whoever it may be, if they are unsaved, are dominated by these spirits who are rulers of the darkness of this world.

"It is always one of these rulers of the darkness of this world that possesses a person. They rule not only those who are within the darkness of this world, but they also tell the principalities what to do. Then the principalities rule over the powers and tell them what to do. The lowest type of demons have very little to do. They do very little thinking of their own and are told what to do. Now I will show you how these evil spirits get hold of people when they are allowed to.

There is no distance in the realm of the spirit, Simply speak to that spirit and command him, in my Name, saying, 'You foul spirit that is operating in the life of this woman [calling her name], that is harassing and embarrassing the ministry of the servant of the Lord [calling her husband's name], I command you to desist in your operations and stop in your maneuvers this moment.

CONCERNING SINNING AGAINST THE HOLY GHOST - Heb 6:4-6

I am the heavenly gift. A man under conviction is enlightened, but he has not tasted of Me. "The Word of God says, 'For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life' (John 3:16). I am the heavenly gift, and the man under conviction has not tasted of the heavenly gift. He sees his lost condition and he sees that he can be saved. 'For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord' (Rom. 6:23). No one has tasted the heavenly gift, the gift of God, until he has received eternal life by accepting Me as Lord and Savior.

"Notice the words in this Scripture '.. .and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost [this woman had been baptized in the Holy Spirit], And have tasted the good word of God....' (Heb. 6:4,5); or as the Phillips translation reads, '. . .who have known the wholesome nourishment of the Word of God....' "In other words, baby Christians cannot commit the sin unto death. It is to be regretted that baby Christians live as they sometimes do, and they say and do some things they should not. But I do not hold these things against them any more than you would hold things a little child may do against him because he doesn't know any better.

For one to commit 'a sin unto death,' he would have had all five of these experiences:
1. Be enlightened (or convicted) to see his lost state,
and to know that there is no way for him to be saved except through Jesus Christ.
2. Taste of the heavenly gift, which is Jesus.
3. Become a partaker of the Holy Spirit, or be filled with the Holy Spirit.
4. Grow enough out of the babyhood stage to have tasted the good Word of God.
5. Have the powers of the world to come — the gifts of the Spirit — operating in his life.

HEB 10:26 - 32
Because of great persecution, the Hebrew Christians referred to in this passage were tempted to go back to Judaism, but if they went back, they would have trodden under foot the Son of God. They would have counted the blood of the covenant an unholy thing, for they were saying that Jesus is not the Messiah; He is not the Son of God. They turned their backs on Me. This is why Paul warned them that if they did that, it would be impossible to renew them unto repentance.

From now on when you come into the presence of anyone who is fully possessed with the devil, he will recognize you, just as the man you read about in the fifth chapter of Mark recognized Me when he came into my presence. These spirits will know you. Through the gift of discerning of spirits you will know what kind of spirit it is. You remember that in dealing with the man from Gadara I said, 'Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit I discerned it was an unclean spirit, and I commanded him to come out. To cast them out you sometimes have to know not only the kind of spirit they are but also their name or number. Notice in dealing with the man from Gadara, I said, 'Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit,' but he didn't come out."

If you had been present, you would have heard what the evil spirit said, because he used the man's voice — he talked through him. When I asked what his name was, he replied, 'My name is Legion, for we are many.' Then he begged, 'Don't send us away out of the country.' That was the first unclean spirit that possessed the man's body speaking — he used the man's voice.

"Then you will see in the 12th verse, 'And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.' All of the demons cried out at once. Had you been present at this time, you wouldn't have known what they were saying, unless you had the gift of discerning of spirits to see and hear in the spirit realm.

"I knew because this gift was operating in my ministry. All of the demons besought Me — all of them spoke at once. They weren't talking out loud; that is, they weren't talking as a man would speak. They were speaking in the spirit realm.

When you cast out demons from somebody, They walk the dry places seeking rest, and they find none. The time to cast demons into the pit hasn't come yet. If it would have been possible when I was on earth, I would have cast them all into the pit. But you will remember on one occasion the demons cried out to Me, saying, '. .. What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?' (Matt. 8:29). You see, their time hasn't come yet. The time is coming when Satan and all his demons will be cast in the lake of fire where they will be forever."

THERE’S A PRICE TO PAY

Some folks have it mighty easy in this day and time. But I feel sorry for folks who have had it easy. You know, it was hard for me to go out on the field. Our home had been like heaven on earth for 10 years, and here I had to be gone 90 percent of the time. That's something to suffer through! My wife raised the children. She is to be commended. I get the credit for it, but she did it. She's the one who instilled the right principles.

When I went out on the field, Ken was in the third grade and Pat was in the second grade. I wasn't with them all those years. Then when they became teenagers, I wasn't with them. I had always looked forward with great anticipation to family life. The day after Ken was born I asked Oretha, "When will he get old enough for me to carry him with me?" It's tough to be out on the field by yourself, shut up in a hotel room staring at the four walls. But God said, "Do it!" When Ken got to be about 12 years old I would take him with me sometimes. I remember once we were driving back to Texas after a service in Oklahoma. We got home, and that night we were kneeling by the bed to pray. Ken began to cry and asked me, "Daddy, why do you have to be gone all the time? Why can't you be home like other daddies?" That's tough to take! I tried not to be gone. I stayed out on the field for seven months. Finally I said, "It's too rough. It's too big a price to pay. I won't pay it. I'll go back to pastoring. I'll be with my family." I cancelled my meetings. On Sunday, July 10, 1949, I was planning to preach at a church in East Texas. It was one of the best churches in the area. I had been assured I could have it if I wanted it.

My wife and I went there that day, and I attended a men's Bible class before the service. I was sitting on a bench and suddenly my heart stopped and I pitched over on the floor on my face. I fell right at the pastor's feet. He picked me up and my heart began to race. You couldn't detect the beating. It felt like something shaking—like a bowl full of gelatin. Some people carried me over to the parsonage next door. I said, "Feel my heart." They felt it and began to cry. Two more preachers came over. They told me later, "We knew you were dead." I was cold all over and white as a sheet. Death was upon my brow.

The ministers ran to the Sunday School addition and one of them motioned to my wife. She was already getting up. She told them, "The Lord spoke to me and told me something had happened to him." She rushed in and fell down beside the bed. She said, "I feel like this is my fault! I was complaining to God because you were gone all the time. And I heard a voice speak while I was washing the dishes. It said, 'I could take him where he would never come back.' I looked all through the house —under the bed and behind the door in the bathroom. I couldn't find anybody. I checked the doors and they were locked. I just decided I was hearing things."

Kneeling there by my bed she prayed, "Lord, that was You who spoke to me in an audible voice. I'll never complain anymore. I don't care how long he's gone or where he goes. I've made my consecration. I'll do what You said to do, Lord." The power of God fell on us. The power of God fell on me. And I was instantly healed! I leaped off that bed and danced through the house. Now, you remember I'd cancelled all my meetings. I didn't have a meeting left, yet I had a wife and two children to support and rent and utilities to pay. You may ask, "Why didn't you just take a job?" I did do that at first. But I never lost sight of the fact that I was in the ministry and was living by faith. So I'd take any meeting, wherever the door opened. We had some of the most miraculous things happen.

I feel sorry for folks who have never had such a privilege. Some of you are driving Cadillacs and living big, and you think you are living by faith. You are no more living by faith than I'm an astronaut. You talk about the faith life while drinking malted milks and eating T-bone steaks! Now, you may get there after awhile. Don't misunderstand me. But we had the biggest time. I think that was one of the sweetest times of our lives. And it was a time of spiritual growth. We lived from week to week and hardly knew where our next meal was coming from. But we were never in lack, because our confidence and faith were in the Lord.

Learn the way of the Spirit. When I went out on the field I fought more devils in that first seven months than I had in the previous 15 years of ministry put together. If the devil could have kept me out of that field ministry, he could have kept me out of where we are now. I'd have given up on it. But I learned through what I suffered. We don't like to hear that side of it too much. But when the Lord has told you something, stay hooked. Go right on through the tests and trials and be perfected.

When I went out on the field, I told Ken, "Here's why I have to be gone. Your Mother and I have made a dedication to the Lord. God said to go. He'll make it up to us."

Mark 10:29 and 30 says: And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

God certainly did make it up to us. I was preaching years later at a Full Gospel church in Cushing, Oklahoma. Suddenly in the night I sat bolt upright in bed. I knew immediately that Ken's life was in danger. He was in the armed forces at that time, serving in Taiwan. That night he had been riding a motorcycle and the front wheel had gone off a mountain. It was thousands of feet to the bottom. If he had gone over the cliff, he would have been killed.

When I sat up in bed, the Lord said to me, "You obeyed Me. If you hadn't, he would never have come back from Taiwan. But you obeyed Me. He'll be back. You can lie down and sleep." So God made it up to me. Yet I had suffered during those years of field ministry. Many times when I left I would be weeping by the time I drove the car around the corner. I would weep all the way to my next meeting. I'd rather have been at home. There's a price to pay, dear friends. But, glory to God, we'll not magnify the suffering. I like to be around when payday comes! It wasn't easy back then. Some people want to start out where I am today. In some ways you can, and in some ways you can't. But after you have suffered a little while, and been faithful, it will pay off. I've never shared some of these things before. I've said, "I'm a faith person—my faith saw me through." But the Lord began to talk to me about preaching this part, too. We've got to tell the other side. It takes faith to go through these trials. Many times, after meetings at night, I would get so lonely. You are by yourself so much. I've actually thought about getting up and kicking out the window panes for a little excitement! If you think that's not suffering, go through it and you'll find out. Yes, there is suffering, but not sickness and disease. Thank God you don't have to suffer with that, because Jesus bore our infirmities.

Say this: "I will serve Him. I will do His bidding. I'll do His will no matter what the cost may be." It costs something to separate yourself unto the ministry that God has called you to. The foundation for my ministry today came in my staying put. I stayed in places where I didn't want to stay. That's where I learned so much. That's when the foundation was established in me. Stay put in hard places, and you will eventually rest upon the mountaintop. (Kenneth E. Hagin)

PROPHETIC UTTERANCE

The only problem I have is getting My kids to come to the table!

This rust and corruption is inflation and depression. If you will let heaven be your financial reservoir—your bank and depository where you place your trust—regardless of what happens to the world’s system, you will always have more than enough! I did not say this treasure could not be used until you get to heaven.

You take care of the evil spirits on earth. I will take care of those in the heavenlies. Fulfill your ministry. Be faithful, for the time is short.

I am going to help you, however, with your finances. I am going to help you in your ministry as well. if you will respond to your angel, he will appear to you as I will at times; and he will give you guidance and direction concerning the things of life, for angels are ministering spirits who are sent to minister for those who are the heirs of salvation" (Heb. 1:14).

THE DAYS OF JOEL
I am the First and the Last. Serve Me, the Creator, for I give life, not death. Arise from your evil and call upon Me, and I will heal and deliver you. Repent, for the time is at hand, and the Lord of glory will soon appear. Be ready, for you do not know the day nor the hour. Great shall be the reward of those who await My coming. I will bless My little ones, those that have kept the faith and have served Me in truth and righteousness. Before they know it, it will be upon them. I have prepared a blessing for those who have been faithful to their calling and those that have not denied My name.

I say, if My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, I will forgive them and heal them and restore their losses. I desire to hear, to deliver, and to save all who believe and call upon My name.
Sanctify a fast. Call a solemn assembly. Gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the lands into My house, and cry unto Me. Alas, for the day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night-the day is at hand.

Trust Me, and I will restore unto you the years the locusts, the canker worm, the caterpillar and the palmer worm have eaten. My great army which I have called will not break their ranks nor their stride. They will do marvelous exploits, and they shall not be conquered, for I am their strength. Their voices will sound like the trumpet, like the thunders will they sound, and all will hear and know that I am the Lord your God.

YOU HAVE THE DEVIL AND THE FLESH TO DEAL WITH

"Brother Hagin, I want you to pray for me," one man said. "What for?" I asked. I like to know what I am praying for. A look of seriousness, even tears, came to his eyes, "I want you to pray that I will never have any more trouble with the devil." I said, "Do you want me to pray you will die?" "No, no, I don't want to die." I said, "The only way you won't have any more trouble with the devil is to get out of here and go on to Heaven."
You will have problems with the devil as long as you are in this life. You will have problems with the flesh as long as you are in the flesh. But, blessed be God, the means, the ability, and the authority have been given to you through the Word of God to deal with the devil and to deal with the flesh.


UNDER-DEVELOPED CHRISTIANS WITH DIAPERS ON

I saw an individual that was thirty-eight years old and still in a bassinet. His mother nearing seventy would pin a diaper on him and feed him just as you would a small baby. How your heart bleeds for them. Aged parents, the other children grown and married, and they are left with this one. But, you know, how sad it is for Christians. Many are in the same boat. If we could see spiritually, they've never developed. They're still babies. Forty years old and still a baby. Selfish. Sensitive. Easily hurt. Envious. Jealous. (Kenneth E. Hagin)

WALKING IN LOVE FREES YOU FROM UNTIMELY DEATH

I went to hold a meeting for a fellow in the state of Oklahoma, and I was glad on that occasion that I went by myself (without my wife). At that time the children were small, and my wife couldn't travel with me all the time. This pastor lived in a nice parsonage, and his church was one of the better well-made brick churches in that area. You have to understand that back in those days, not many Full Gospel churches were made of brick. Some wooden churches existed, but there were very few brick churches. But this pastor's church was one of the nicest churches in this town, and so was his parsonage. Well, holding a meeting in this church, I had another opportunity to work no ill toward my neighbor. You see, this man gave me accommodations out back behind his parsonage—in his chicken coop! He hadn't even cleaned it out very well; there were chicken droppings all around. He just put a bed out there, and that's where he put me……

……Well, you can imagine how you'd feel about that. And, of course, I've got the flesh to deal with just like you do. My flesh rose up, and I thought, I don't have to put up with this! I'll just leave. But then I realized that I couldn't leave because it might hurt the flock of God. They would wonder why I'd left, and they would have gotten suspicious of their pastor. You see, love worketh no ill to his neighbor, and God's love in us never takes account of a suffered wrong. So I couldn't do that. I decided to tough it out and stay one week so it wouldn't make the pastor look bad. I said to the Lord, "Lord, I'll tell You what I'll do. I know the meeting is set up to go longer, but I will finish out the week." In the first meeting, I announced that I'd only preach through Sunday night. I made it look as good on the pastor as I could, and I left on Sunday night…….

……You ask, "Whatever happened to him?" He died at age 39 with cancer of the throat. That was the last church he ever pastored. In fact, he wasn't even pastoring a church when he died. He was working in a grocery store. You see, if you don't walk in love, dear friends, you just throw yourself wide open to the devil's attacks. You'll find out that one reason there is so much sickness in the Body of Christ even among preachers is that believers don't walk in love toward one another. Then people can't get healed until they make adjustments in their heart and begin to walk in love toward one another. Walking in the love of God is the way to prosper in life. You can't prosper in God if you don't treat other people right or if you're holding on to grudges in your heart. (Kenneth E. Hagin)

PROPHECY ON PRAYER AND FINANCE

Quit grumbling and complaining about your tax money. Pay it cheerfully the way you do your tithe and I’ll bless it.

If you will realize what I am leading you into, you will make an agreement with Me so that I can help you financially. Make Me Lord over your finances.

There was no use in My transferring money which you had laid up in heaven to an earthly bank when you didn’t need all of it at the time. When money is on earth, it is vulnerable to Satan and to the world’s system of finance. If I gave you $1,000 today, in nine months’ time, it probably wouldn’t be worth more than $750. You need to learn to exercise your faith in the fact that you have this money on deposit, and when you need it, all you have to do is call for it. Make your deposits with Me according to the rate of exchange which My Word guarantees and operate under My system of finance instead of the world’s system. We can make it work at the current rate of exchange at that time. It won’t matter if it takes a billion dollars to buy a loaf of bread—I can afford it!”

When you give, this deposit will enable you to call for a withdrawal.

PRAYER
Pray more. There are better things to be had in spiritual life, but they must be sought out with faith and prayer.

THE HELPERS LOVE
I will help anyone one who help the helpless. When you love those whom I love, you will always know My help. You will be given the helper by the measure of your love.


YOUR CLOSENESS WITH JESUS
You are an earthen vessel, and that is all that you will be while you walk the earth. However you can see Me clearly, if you will look with the eyes of your heart. You can be just as close to Me as anyone has ever been closed to Me, and even more so. I have made the way for everyone to be as close to Me as they truly desire to be. If you really desire to be even closer to Me than Paul was, you can. Some will want this, and they will want it badly enough to lay aside anything that hinders their intimacy with Me to give themselves fully to it, and they will have what they seek.

If it is your quest (desire) to walk closely with Me, I will be just as close to you. If you will seek Me, you will find Me. If you draw near to Me, I will draw near to you. It is my desire to set a table for you right in the midst of your enemies. This is not just My desire for My leaders, but for all who call upon My name.
I want to be much closer to you and to everyone who calls upon Me, than I have yet been able to be with anyone who has lived. You determine how close we will be, not I. I will be found by those who seek Me. I love to give My children the good gifts that they ask for. You will only have wisdom and judgment as you abide in Me. Do not even ever stop seeking Me. The more you mature, the less you will seek to hide from me or others, so that you can always walk in the light.


THE COMMISSION
You are but one of the many who have been prepared for this hour. Preach and write about all that you have seen and heard. What I have said to you, say to My brethren. Go and call My captains to the last battle. Go and defend the poor and the oppressed, the widows and the orphans. This is the commission of My captains, and it is on earth you will find them. My children are worth more to Me than the stars in the heavens. Feed My lambs. Watch over My little ones. Give the word of God to them that they may live. Go to the battle. Go and do not retreat. Go for I will come quickly. Obey Me and hasten the day of My coming.

GOD-KIND OF LOVE VS NATURAL SELFISH HUMAN LOVE

I remember a woman came up to me in a meeting I was holding in a church. She said, crying, "God knows I love my children. " I brought them up right, but not one of them will come to church with me except my daughter." Her daughter played the piano at that church. She said, "There isn't anyone in all this church that has loved their children as much as I have loved mine."

Well, I could look at her daughter playing the piano and see that something was wrong with her. She was about twenty-four years old, and she'd taken music lessons and had even been to college. But if you looked at her, she'd duck her head to hide from you. I said to her mother, "When your daughter was growing up, did you ever allow her to have friends? She must be intelligent because she made good grades in college and she graduated with a degree in music." I knew a little bit about the family from what the pastor had told me. I asked this mother, "Did you ever permit her to have a boyfriend or a friend at school?" "No," her mother answered, "I just kept her at home. I wanted to protect her because I love her so much." I said, "You're lying. You didn't keep her at home because you loved her so much. You kept her at home because your love is selfish." I know that's not the way to win friends, but sometimes you have to jolt people to get them to see the truth! "Well, I just love her too much to let her go," the mother said to me. "She's never been away from home one night in her life." I said, "No, you don't love her. You love her with selfish human love. If you really loved your children with the God-kind of love, you'd want them to have friends. You'd want them to mix with people their own age and grow up and live a normal life." Then she said, "My son is seventeen years old, and he just ran off from home. I don't know where he is. Pray that he'll come back." I said, "No! I'm going to pray that he'll stay gone. Thank God, he had enough sense to get up and get out of that mess. That poor girl sitting over there at the piano stool probably hasn't got that much sense because you've warped her personality."

You see, here was a woman who was born again and even filled with the Spirit and attended a Full Gospel church, but she really didn't love her children with the divine love of God at all. She loved them with a natural human love, and that can be selfish. (Kenneth E. Hagin)

PROPHECY CONCERNING FINANCE & ENDTIME

ABOUT MONEY & FINANCE
Never pray for money. Do not to ask Me to give you money, for money is down here on earth. In the Name of Jesus command the money you need to come. Whatever you want or need, claim it. I want My children to have the best. I want My children to eat the good of the land. I Am not the One who is withholding finances from you; I Am not the One who did not want your children to have the right kind of food to eat. If I were to be the One withholding all these from you, I wouldn't be the right kind of a Father. Remember any old sinner can be a father who is concerned about his children. Remember that even an animal can be concerned about his offspring. Never is there an earthly parent who desires to do more for his children than I did. The problem is that My children do not cooperate with Me. Command the devil to take his hands off your finances. Just because you grew up did not make you lose your angel. Tell your ministering spirits, or angels, to go and cause the money to come. I have no shortage of money, but I have a shortage of righteous people.

Son (Daughter), don’t bind Me to finances. I can handle the fish just as I can the money. Son (Daughter), if I send you a cow with a bag of money around her neck, for goodness’ sake, milk her before you send her home!

CONCERNING THE END
In heaven there is no more clock, all the time that is left is simply the Father's grace for those who have backslidden to offer them a chance to repent and do the first works. We are on the time of God's grace!

In the great tribulation, there will be troubles like never before. At this time, people will long for death, but will not find it. Death will have fled from the earth. Warn My church and give them hope. Tell them that if people will repent now, I will forgive them while there is still time. I will do a great thing in the earth. Tell My people that if they ask for forgiveness, I will pardon.

My church has lost their faith, they don't want to believe in Me, wickedness has multiplied on the earth and people don't want to believe that I exist. I Am going to do something great on the earth! My church is backsliding instead of growing.

This church is not My church! My church walks in miraculous power and signs and wonders! My church has decreased! However, tell them, I will be back to raise them again!

Be holy, for I Am holy! Only the holy ones will enter the New Jerusalem! For without holiness no one will see the Lord.

'JUDGMENT IS COMING'
Some ministers I called to the ministry live and die without getting into even the first phase I have for them. That is one reason why many ministers die prematurely — they are living only in My permissive will!

My child, all the suffering on the earth concentrated in just one place is nothing, NOTHING compared with the suffering that a person has in the best parts of hell. You can play with the fire on the earth, but never with the fire in hell.

All sorcerers and workers of evil will have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death

The sin of rebellion is like the sin of witchcraft. In fact, all those who know My Word and My ways and have heard the gospel but still will not repent are in rebellion against Me. Many are in hell today because of this sin.

I tell you the truth, many souls are in hell because of witchcraft, the occult, the worship of other gods, disobedience, unbelief, drunkenness, and filthiness of flesh and spirit. Come, I will show you a mystery and tell you of hidden things. I will reveal to you how to pray against the forces of evil. I desire to reveal to all that hell has enlarged itself.

O foolish people and slow of heart, awaken to the truth, and love one another with fervent love. Help the helpless. Give to those in need without any thought of getting anything in return. If you will repent, O earth, I will bless you and not curse you. Awaken from your sleep, and come unto Me. Humble yourselves and bow your hearts before Me, and I will come and live with you. You will be My people, and I will be your God.

EYES OF LOVE

I remember when Dub (my elder brother) was still a baby Christian, he went into town one day to take care of some business for Mamma. When he was in town, he had some problems with some relatives and almost got into a fight with them, so I had to go attend to the business myself. Dub said, "You'd better not go there. They'll fight you." I just said, "No, they won't. You just don't know how to exercise the love of God and put it to work for you." Think about it a minute. How do you put God to work? The Bible said, "God is love." So if you put God's love to work, you're putting God to work in the situation. The Bible says, "greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4). Well, who is in you? God the Holy Ghost is in you if you've been born again. The Holy Ghost has shed the love of God abroad in your heart. That love in you is bigger than the devil that is in someone who is unsaved and walking in darkness.

So I went to see one of the relatives who had given Dub such a problem, and she just started ranting and raving. I never said a word. I just looked at her, and I felt so sorry for her. I thought to myself, She can't help but act that way because she's got the nature of the devil in her. She can’t help but be selfish. But on the inside of me, I just kept saying, "Thank God, the love of God is in me. The love of God in me is bigger than the hatred that is in her. Greater is He who is in me than he that is in her." I just stood there and looked at her in love. Suddenly she looked at me. Her mouth moved in anger, but nothing came out! She couldn't say one word to me. She must have seen the expression of love on my face, because all of a sudden, she knelt down on the ground, grabbed my hand and kissed it, and laid it on her head, and said, "Ken, pray for me. You know we all need prayer." So I started praying for her. Then she called her husband. He said to me, "Some of the relatives are going to try to take everything away from your poor ole Mamma. What are you going to do about it?" I knew he was the one trying to do it. So I just stepped closer to him, and said, "I want you to know something. I'm ready for any situation. In fact," and I stepped a little closer and dropped my voice and said, "I've got some inside information. And I want you to know that I am ready for them." His countenance changed entirely. He said, "I'll tell you one thing. I'm going to make sure your Mamma gets her share and is provided for." And he did too. The inside information I had was information inside the Bible. The inside information was "Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in them. Greater is the love of God that is in me than the hatred that is in the world." Love always wins, because the God-kind of love is the way of the New Covenant, and it never fails. (Kenneth E. Hagin)

FACE YOUR OPPOSITION: STAND YOUR GROUND

In 1942, while pastoring in East Texas, I had a test in my body. I didn't tell anyone about it except the Lord. I prayed and believed He would heal me. Then I stood my ground. In the nighttime I would be awakened with alarming heart symptoms, and I would get up and pray. I battled that thing for about six weeks.

One night I had great difficulty in getting to sleep. Finally, after praying, I drifted off, and I had a dream. I am satisfied that God has spoken to me only four times in my life through dreams, but a dream like this one was no coincidence. It was from the Lord. When I woke up, I knew immediately what it meant. (If you don't know the meaning of a dream immediately, forget it.) In this dream it seemed that another minister and I were walking on some kind of parade ground or ball field. There were stands on either side of us. As we were walking along talking, the man jumped and exclaimed, "Look!"

I turned and saw two ferocious, roaring lions. The man started running. I started running with him. Then I stopped and told him we were too far away from the stands to reach safety. We'd never escape those lions. I stopped dead still, turned around, and went back to meet the lions. They came toward me with their fangs bared, roaring. I was trembling. I told them, "I resist you in the Name of Jesus. In Jesus' Name you can't hurt me." I just stood there. They ran right up to me like a couple of kittens, sniffed around my ankles, and finally frolicked off, paying no attention to me.

Then I woke up. I knew exactly what God was saying to me. The Scripture in First Peter 5 came to me. It says, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith___" (vv. 8,9). The physical battle I had been fighting was won right then. Instantly the symptoms disappeared and I was all right. I had stood my ground. I wouldn't give in. I had won. Ephesians 6:10 says, "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might." (Kenneth E. Hagin)

BE DISCIPLINED AND DETERMINED

One day I sat talking to Tom Seymour in Los Angeles. I told him about the following incident in the life of Elias Letwaba, one of our native preachers in South Africa. I went to Letwaba’s house one day in the country, and his wife said, “He is not home. A little baby is hurt, and he is praying for it.”

So, I went over to the native hut where he was, got down on my knees, and crawled inside. I saw Letwaba kneeling in a corner by a child. I said, “Letwaba, it is me. What is the matter with the child?” He told me the mother had been carrying it on her back in a blanket, as natives carry their children, and it fell out. He said, “I think it hurt its neck.” I examined the baby and saw that its neck was broken. It would turn from side to side like the neck of a doll. “Why, Letwaba, the baby’s neck is broken!” I did not have faith for a broken neck, but Letwaba did not know the difference. I saw that he did not understand. He discerned the spirit of doubt in my soul, and I said to myself, I am not going to interfere with his faith. He will just feel the doubt generated by all the old traditional things I have learned, so I will go outside.

I went to another hut and kept on praying. I lay down at 1 a.m. At 3 o’clock, Letwaba came in. I said, “Well, Letwaba, how about the baby?” He looked at me, so lovingly and sweetly, and said, “Why, brother, the baby is all well! Jesus do heal the baby.” I said, “The baby is well! Letwaba, take me to the baby at once.”

So, we went to the baby. I took the little thing on my arm and came out of the hut praying: “Lord, take every cursed thing out of my soul that keeps me from believing the Lord Jesus Christ.” As I related the incident to Mr. Seymour, he shouted, “Praise God, brother! That is not healing—it is life!” (John G. Lake)

LEARN TO FORGIVE YOURSELF

I was holding a meeting in a large city. I laid hands on a particular man several times. He was a businessman and a member of the church where I was holding the meeting. Practically every healing evangelist in America at that time had laid hands on this man, but he was still sick. The Lord told me to talk to him, so I told the man to come early to the meeting the next night. I knew he had a heart condition. The doctors had told him he might live two more years if he retired, stayed on medication, and spent most of his time resting. But he was only fifty-six years old. He didn't want to retire yet.

I was shaving and getting ready to go to church the next evening, when the Lord spoke to me. He said, "Do you think I would require you to do something I wouldn't be willing to do?" I said, "No, Lord. You wouldn't do that because that would be unjust, and You're not unjust." I finished shaving and was getting dressed, and the Lord spoke to me again and said the same thing. "Do you think I would require you to do something I wouldn't be willing to do?" I said, "No. No, because if You required me to do something You wouldn't be willing to do, it would be unjust, and You're not unjust." I finished getting ready and drove off to church. In the car the Lord said the same thing to me. I answered Him the same way. Then the Lord gave me these passages of Scripture in Matthew and Luke. MATTHEW 18:21,22 21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, UNTIL SEVENTY TIMES SEVEN. LUKE 17:3-5 3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. 4 And if he trespass against thee seven times IN A DAY, and seven times IN A DAY turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him. 5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, INCREASE OUR FAITH.

When Jesus said we were supposed to forgive seventy times seven, that doesn't mean in a lifetime— that means in one day. That should tell us we are to practice an attitude of forgiveness!
Also, notice that after Jesus talked about forgiveness, immediately the disciples said to Him, "Increase our faith." Sometimes it takes faith to forgive people, doesn't it? Also, you won't be able to increase your faith until you forgive! That's absolutely the truth. When the Lord gave me these Scriptures and said this to me, I wondered why He was telling me this. Then He said to me, "If I required you to forgive your brother if he sinned against you 490 times in a day, but I wasn't willing to do the same thing, then I would be unjust."

I still didn't know why the Lord was saying this to me, but I went on to church to talk to this man before the service started. As soon as I started talking to him, I understood exactly why the Lord said all this to me. This man told me, "I have heart trouble and my kidneys are failing. The doctors told me that if I would sell my business and lie around and rest and stay on medication, I might live a couple of years. "But they said if I keep going the way I'm going, I could just fall dead at any time." Then this businessman told me, "I've been a member of a Full Gospel church for 35 years. Brother Hagin, I'll be honest with you. I know you teach faith, but every time I go forward to get healed, I know God won't heal me." "Why won't He?" I asked. "Well, I've just failed and missed it so many times. I've just sinned." Even though I knew he had committed no sin too big for God to forgive, I asked, "What awful sin have you committed? Have you robbed a bank or killed someone?" "No. No." "Well, what awful sin have you ever committed?" He said, "As far as I know, I haven't committed any awful sin. I've just searched my heart. But I own my own business, and I've made good money. I've always paid my tithes to my church and supported missions. But I could have given so much more financially than what I have given. I could have prayed so much more than I have. I've committed sins of omission." Many believers get their mind just on sins of commission, but the Bible also teaches that there are sins of omission. Sins of omission are sins of failing to do right when it's in your power to do so. The Bible does say. ". . . to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin" (James 4:17). I began to tell this businessman what the Lord told me. I said, "Do you think the Lord would require you to do something He wouldn't be willing to do?" "No, He wouldn't do that." And I began to show him the Scriptures that the Lord gave me in Matthew and Luke. Then I showed him James 5:14,15. JAMES 5:14,15 14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; AND IF HE HAVE COMMITTED SINS, THEY SHALL BE FORGIVEN HIM. Did you notice that the Bible didn't say, "If he has committed a sin"—singular. It said, "If he has committed sins—plural. Then it says, "they shall be forgiven him." It doesn't say that maybe his sins would be forgiven. It says they shall be forgiven! I told him, "God is not only willing to heal you, He is willing to forgive you, even for sins of omission. The Lord has forgiven you, so quit accusing yourself. You know what your problem is? You haven't forgiven yourself. Besides that, have you failed 490 times in one
day?" "No," he said. "Well then, you've got a good margin to operate on," I said.

Just as soon as this man forgave himself, his faith started working. The unforgiveness that he'd held against himself had hindered his faith. I laid hands on him and prayed for him, and he was instantly healed. Years later I was preaching in the same state, and one of this man's relatives told me about him. He said, "He ran his business all these years, and he finally sold his business and retired at seventy-five years of age." According to medical science, He could easily have been dead at fifty-six because his heart was in such bad condition. Until he forgave himself for his past failures, he couldn't receive his healing. graphicsplay: Christ once said that he who "lives by the sword shall die by the sword". Is it out of place to say that God allowed Apostle Paul to face the same persecution he meted out to christians in his days as a pharisee. Apostle Paul himself unequivocally stated that a man reaps what he sows.

I want you to know that as a Pharesee, Paul was blameless. He was a sincere follower. when persecuting Christians, he thought he was doing the right thing - like many today. The Apostle Paul a material from beginning. He learnt meditating 7 verses of the Tora daily from the age of 3 or 5. Christ needed a germ like that to demonstrate LONGSUFFERING. A very good example that will let us know that that life was not exclusive to Him alone. That is Y Paul could boldly tell to FOLLOW HIM AS HE FOLLOWED CHRIST. God doesn't punish like that - though sin has consequences. He doesn't punish our present with our past. But if some one steal and accept Christ, he could still goto jail.

A. He said he is not God Almighty Jehovah.
B. He was murdered.His purpose for coming was to bring the new way to God in his messages.The Teachers of the law did not like his message.He was murdered.

He laid down His Life. He made that very clear. He was unkillable since He committed NO sin. He was The Sacrifice. what do you think LORD means in the Scripture which says, 'If you confess that Jesus Christ is Lord...' Jesus was not among those that could be murdered. He was their very LIFE. He is your LIFE!
JESUS is the power behind the pumping of blood in your heart. One day you will find out.
Jesus is the Life in all of CREATION. If Jesus closes His eyes, the WHOLE WORLD will go dark. He never thought it was rubbery to be EQUAL WITH GOD ALMIGHTY. They are co=equal. He's the very Son of the Almighty. What a Beauty He is. You know Him with your spirit not with your head. If you ever see Him, you'll be transformed for life.

HELL was made by My Father God to punish Satan n those Demons that broke the Laws of Heaven. That punishment well spelt was eternal damnation in The Bottomless Pit. Now, u can chose to spend eternity with Satan if u love him n SIN that much or u can chose to go to where Satan was driven away from ie - HEAVEN. God has done all He's supposed to do n beyond. Check ur internet and see scientific proof of Heaven n Hell. My love, pls chose wisely. Eternity is not something to GAMBLE with. What if I'm right? - think about it

King David, the man after God's heart killed his faithful soldier Urieh( forgive me if I got the name mispelt)after having unlawful s..e.x with Bathsheba, Urieh's wife. Thereafter he went ahead and married her(Bathsheba) after getting her pregnant. God through his prophet Nathan busted King David who pleaded with God for forgiveness. God forgave him but at a price, "the child must die", and it was so. "The sword shall not depart your house"

Next is Moses. He misbehaved in the wilderness and though God forgave him, he denied him access to the promised land.

Another, though many may not believe it, is Apostle Paul, who healed many but when he begged God to heal him of an ailment, God replied" my grace is enough for you". Bring to mind the number of christians martyred by barrister Saul. And the list goes on.

When we wrong others, what we do will always cry to God for vengeance (eg the blood of Abel) and you don't expect him to forgive and forget because vengeance is His . Furthermore the 'accuser of our brethren' will always table our evil deeds before God to justify his rebellion against Him.

Christ Jesus, after healing a demoniac advised him to sin no more so that nothing more evil may befall him. when we misbehave, God allows some misfortunes to befall us, either immediately or later in our lives. That's why no matter how long many a christians fast and pray, their fortunes will never be the same.

He may seem to forgive and forget because His grace is a subsidy that reduces the effects of what we negatively reap.

The Apostle Paul was not sick with physical ailment. There was a particular man who persecuted Paul terribly. He wanted to see the end of Paul - not sickness. Paul was BEYOND sickness like His Master Jesus. U can grow to that Level.
If God says, "You sins and iniquity I will remember NO MORE" who are we to doubt that? He's God Almighty. He's not a man. Our brains are too small to figure Him.
