Please lets learn to ignore. There is no pinned message that shows read page one. Lets stop attacking people please
Maybe you should heed your own advise and ignore posts that tell people to read page 1 and research before asking questions.
It has been said times without number that everyone should check page 1 and research before asking questions. 99% of the questions asked here have been answered but people refuse to read up or research. The thread is basically spammed everyday with irritating questions. You have to sift through it to find new information. Its slowly losing its purpose.
Stop encouraging bad behaviour.

@Mummychichi My wife is the PA because of age and result (MSC) for us to get higher points, will the be a column for NOC when filling form for Express Entry and what other option do we have??

can we chat on whatsapp if you don't mind so we can discuss better?? 08052405680.
If she doesn't have one continuous year of work experience in NOC A or B, she will be ineligible for EE. You would have to be the PA. I believe that's the only option, except you try other immigration streams into Canada. Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong

I don't think the international passport expiration should be a problem, if it does expire, you can always renew and carry both old and new together.
You must either travel before the current passport expires (which contains the visa) or you renew your passport and send the new one to them for the visa. If you travel with an expired passport, OYO is your portion

Sir, this has nothing to do with oversabi o. smiley

Frankly, there are valid arguments for filling NYSC as government job. One may argue for being (technically) an employee of the FGN during NYSC. Remember, the oath you sign(ed) in camp says something along the line of being a government property
Your post is misleading and will lead to further confusion. There's no "technicality" about government work. It's either you work for the government or you don't. NYSC is a government program not government work. If you worked in a non-governmental organisation during NYSC, you didn't work for the government. If you worked for the government, agency or parastatal, then you worked for the government

Congratulations to everyone who got ITA+PPR.

Please house, I'm in a dilemma here.

I got ITA yesterday (through PNP nomination), but I'm not sure whether to accept it. This is because I edited my profile two days ago. I didn't want to claim points for my spouse's education anymore since we already got nomination and there's no ECA for it. Although, the new update was saved and transmitted, but my crs points did not reflect the new change (its still giving me points for spouse's education). Only for me to get ITA yesterday, making my profile locked .
You can go ahead and accept. You have abundant CRS points so removing his education won't be a problem

Hi. I'm not conversant with the different NOCs. If you post your job description here, others could help you or you can just browse the NOCs on the CIC website and pick the one which matches your job description the most.

Congratulations dear. I'm happy for you.

Please I need assistance from anyone that can help me. I am stuck between applying under these 2 NOCs; I work as a Web Developer (2175) and Digital Marketer (1123).

Please is there a way I can confirm which of them is of higher demand in Canada and apply under that NOC?

Thank you in advance
You should pick the NOC that represents your current job not what is in higher demand in Canada

Please I’m trying to fill the form for UK PCC online, I can’t go past personal information unless I input details for driving license number which I didn’t have when in the UK.

How do I go about it?
I'm guessing you put drivers license as your means of identification? If you did, change it to passport. You don't need a UK drivers license number to complete the form

you think ielts is by grammar. How then do indians pass with their funny english. Its all about tips and tricks. I have recommended someone who got 6.5 four times to a tutor here before. He got 7.5 after. So anything that works
Okay na. Cram "tips and tricks" and land in Canada first. When finding a job or communicating becomes difficult, you'll understand.

You think Canadas' requirement for IELTS is just a hurdle for immigration purposes? Their two main languages are English and French. You must be able to communicate effectively in either language. I've seen posts and videos about how difficult it is for foreigners to assimilate there because their English is bad, especially in speaking and writing. Using good grammar in your CV and speaking well to a recruiter at a job interview there can make the difference between you and another person seeking the same job being hired.
The little things matter and "anything that works" won't cut it most times.

Sorry, but I think you don't have to be in a formal setting before using the write English terminology.

You're coaching people on IELTS, it is only proper to lead by example. Demonstrating that people can learn from you even without being under your tutelage.

'Am' shouldn't be used to replace 'I'm', no matter the setting. It's just wrong English.

My thoughts.
I fully concur. No matter the setting, proper grammar should always be used. You can't be teaching others to write an English exam and you use incorrect grammar. Seems pointless

thank you for the swift response, I'd love to know what can be done in the case of the breakage in between the work experience
She has to work one full, continuous year before she can apply. That's the requirement. If she's currently employed, you must count from when she started this job till she gets to 1 year. There can be no breaks this time

Hello house, someone should please help me with the difference between this two questions.
1. In the last ten years, how many years of skilled work experience in Canada do you have?
2. In the last ten years, how many total years of foreign skilled work experience do you have?

P.S: My fiance is about to start her profiling for the express entry and she's worked for an equivalent of 12 months but there was a break in between 8 month and the remaining 4, does that affect the one year continuous work experience requirement?
For the 1st question it's none. They're asking how many years of work experience you have in Canada.
For question 2 she can put 1 year(this is the work experience you've gained in your country or any country outside Canada), but the issue is her one year of work isn't continuous. You must have one year of continuous work. Any other work experience one has can be broken up. This will be the issue

Hi guys.
I got an ADR this morning to fill the Schedule A form. I got the same ADR in October. I filled it back then and sent it. This time around, IRCC is claiming I have gaps in the form and they mentioned three time periods. The first two I can easily explain but the third one is from when I graduated from Uni till this year. I've been working and all since that time and I accounted for this time period in my application and the first Schedule A form.
I want to fill the form and attach an LOE explaining the time periods. Do you guys think its sufficient?
Thanks

Hello, good people. Please permit me to ask a silly question. grin
For scanning documents and uploading them, in the creation of express entry profile for example, would it be suitable to use mobile scanning apps like Adobe scan? Or must I do it at a business centre? Has anyone successfully used any phone app to scan documents for Canadian immigration process?
Use Camscanner. It's very effective. There's no need to buy a printer. You could also use a cyber cafe but like someone said, the privacy of your documents maybe at stake. Just use Camscanner

Good day all. Pls I have a question. My sister's daughter is living with me but I don't have her legal/formal adoption letter. I intend moving with her to Canada if granted PR, hence I included her in my Express entry profile. Can this be termed misrepresentation since I don't have any legal document for adopting her. She still bears my sisters surname, not mine. I will appreciate any one with relevant information on this. Thanks all...
You must adopt her. Someone posted the links to successful adoptions a few pages back. Just scroll through and read them. You can't take her if she's not your adopted child.

Apart from *Employment reference* letter, what other documents does one need from his/her employer for EE? Before I resign from my current job,I want to get everything I would need from my employer. Kindly advice
Although you don't necessarily need to submit them, it's best you get copies of your payslips or salary certificate (the latter is only necessary if you are paid in cash)

NaijaGoingMaple:
It's a common knowledge. You may check IDP.
That you can improve your scores whilst already in the pool doesn't imply you can use an IELTS under inquiry as it's locked out. You can't use it, but you can register for another IELTS, obtain higher degrees or educational qualifications, take a second language test like TEF, garner additional work experience if less than 3 years, explore PNP and the likes.
Common knowledge does not equate to an organisations policy or an established, verifiable fact. It's why I asked you to post a link to the part you made in bold. Maybe IDP has that policy but I haven't seen such for BC and it's the first time I've heard about it
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Silversurfer1: 7:07pm On Dec 21, 2019
NaijaGoingMaple:
On both occasions, you were wrong.

"During the period of remarking your test results cannot be used to apply for a university or to be sent to an immigration office."

The post wasn't about the result being invalid during remarking, as there was no reference to that.
Can you provide a link to the bold bit? I just perused BC's website and the EOR form and saw nothing of the sort. The only part I saw was you should hand in your TRF when you request a remark. I requested a remark of my results and I only handed in the old one when my score was increased. Mind you, I had already created my EE profile with the old result whilst awaiting the decision of the remark.
If you can't use a result, that means its invalid. The result, per the BC website, is forwarded to the institutions you're applying to which require the result and even CIC recommends you can increase your CRS score whilst in the pool, which would mean that your result is valid and you need not wait for the remark to be concluded
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Silversurfer1: 5:42pm On Dec 21, 2019
NaijaGoingMaple:
I assume you didn't understand what he's saying. If the IELTS result is being remarked, you can't use that result until the remarking is completed. Because, at the point of being re-evaluated, you don't have any result, and the outcome may be different.
This is also incorrect. Your current results remain valid until there's a change in your remarked scripts. If one of the scores is increased, then the old result becomes invalid and you're given a new result. If the result remains unchanged, then your current results remain valid. Remarking doesn't affect the validity of your current result
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Silversurfer1: 4:20pm On Dec 21, 2019
Steather:
You can't use the result till you get outcome of the remark.
This is false. The CIC website advises that if you're in the pool and your score isn't high enough, you can improve on it. This includes getting a higher score on IELTS, sitting that French language exam, getting another degree etc.
Let us not post misleading information here

You can enter the pool whilst you wait for your remark. Don't be sad. Your result maybe updated. Keep the faith
