Villagegirl: I personally don't think it's necessary if you put up a strong application. Almost 7 months AOR to PPR and didn't order a single note. My reason was that I didn't want any third party to have access to my files and personal information. Please throughly read the terms and conditions of these websites before accepting, that is, if you intend to use a third party website.
The final decision is yours. If you suspect something is off with your application, beyond the usual waiting paranoia, then you might benefit from the timely insight the notes provide. The GCMS notes are not issued by CIC? It's another company that issues them? Didn't know that. Thanks for this information |

Stencil: Yes you can.
I'd advice you not to submit if you know for sure that you won't have everything ready before the deadline. That opportunity (ITA) would have gone to someone else.
All the best! Thanks |

DrDax: impossible or rare?
which one? Very rare. Unless you have a skill that's in-demand or your expertise is unique, it's almost unheard off getting a job outside Canada. Canadian employers must hire citizens and PRs first before looking at foreigners and with the mass influx of immigrants now, how will they look to foreigners? Anyone can try sha but best not to get your hope's too high |

I suggest she writes to them/goes to the embassy and say that she requires her passport for other urgent matters. She should state she requires her passport immediately. Don't mince words. I don't know why some embassy's hold peoples passport ransom.
quote author=TYPOP post=81449692]Hi all. Please I need assistance.
I don't know what to do and may have to decline my ITA for the 4th time. I have declined it 3 times now and I have just received another one.
My issue is that my wife applied to SA embassy in Lagos for SA visa. Till date, her passport is still with them. This means she is unable to go for medicals (from what I have read on this thread, passport is required). This has been the major reason for my declining each time.
Is there anything I can do please? Thank you.
|

lightedpath: search the thread for inspestor Moshood's number and get his address. Print the police form onkine and thumbprint. Send the filled forms to him through courier together with copy of your passport data page. When he is through, he will send it back through courier. You can also send scanned copy to him but the first option is better You can download the form from their website? I just checked and I saw nothing of the sort. Are you sure about this? |

Maritee: No, I was no longer in the new job as my contract with the company ended in January. However in my personal history, I inputed Unemployed from January till the period I submitted my application. I hope I have answered your question correctly.? I read online that gaps need to be answered, so if you have been unemployed, you must state what you've been doing in the interim. Apparently if you don't do that, your application can be rejected. So you're proof that if you didn't further explain your period of unemployment, you can still obtain PR. Or maybe if the period of unemployment is too long, you might encounter problems. Anyway, thanks for your response. |

issue is age, 34 and 35 respectively And you've maxed out your work experience? People in that age range and older still go through with your qualifications. Pele. I actually don't know how to advise you. |

For those who have gotten PCC for the UK, is it true you can't pay for it with a Nigerian debit/credit card? A lady on Twitter said she couldn't pay for hers and a representative of their organisation said due to Nigeria's notorious 419 issues, they don't accept payment from Nigerian cards. |
Hello. I am a lawyer.
hubby and I are currently in the pool with a CRS score of 404.
I have taken IELTS 2x. My 1st score was LRWS 7.5,8.0,6.5,8.5 and overall band 7.5.
My last score was LRWS 7.5,7.5,7.0,8.5 with same overall band score of 7.5.
It seems you haven't evaluated your law degree. You will get the maximum points with your law degree for education (use IQAS but it takes a long time for their evaluation to be completed) and if you've worked for over 3 years, your score will jump to 475 (but I think the score drops a bit once you've hit 30. I maybe wrong about this). Even with less than 3 years work experience, your score will still sit in the 450s. Don't give up hope! |

ProfessorHank: Go for a remark, But as per their policy, they've already done the remark. If two band scores are more then two points apart, they'll remark b4 u see ur result.
So result may not likely change.
They've planned all their cheats and designed their policy to protect it. This is a very dangerous falsehood. No where does it say BC remarks scripts based on this. Simply send in an EOR and they will do the rest. Haba, where do you people come up with these things? |

magastefan: Hello gurus in the house....I have a question that is bothering me... I worked in a Mbank btw 2014-2016 during recession in 2016 more than 80percent of Lagos branch workers were sacked including me... Now I want to use this to add to my 6yrs experience... Will the sack affect me in any way if CIC is notified? Should I just claim a 4 year experience?
Awaiting your response on this How you left the job is none of their concern. What concerns them is that you have experience from the job. If it gets to the point you have to explain anything like this, explain you were "laid off" not "sacked" due to the economic downturn. It wasn't your fault |

Stencil: You can combine jobs even in different NOCs. As long as it is A, B, 0. You can combine different professions. Your degree and work experience do not have to be in the same field. You can combine different work experiences as long as you already have worked for one year in one of them (People typically use NYSC for this). Eg: You worked NYSC for 1 year. Worked at place B for 2 months, Place C for 5 months and place D for 5 months. Combine all of these to make 12 months. You are probably going to have a sh*t ton of reference letters to get 3 years but hey, whatever gets you to the promise Land.
Hopefully this helps you dig through your life to get that 3 years of experience. You can do this but you must have worked in one place continuously for at least 1 year to qualify |

Zara01: Okay When did they change it? Can you provide evidence for the previous score and the new one? Stop arguing and accept you're wrong. Everybody knows CLB7 is not enough to get a high CRS score. Tina told you to read previous posts on the topic. To be in a position to get a high CRS score, you need to get 8777 which is CLB 9. You haven't said anything new or groundbreaking. Misinformation is not good. They haven't changed the score. It's always been like that |

I would like to sort it all out in less than 2 weeks, only thing i'll wait for is police report. Go to the hospital and schedule an appointment. They will give you a list of documents you need to provide on the day of the medical assessment. You don't need an ITA to do it |
