[quote author=ladymarshall post=82678151]No one has time to start searching for a NOC for your application. That’s your responsibility. Find your NOC and then ask here to confirm if it’s the right one. Place your duties side by side with your chosen NOC, then we can help you confirm or suggest alternative NOCs, the final decision is yours though. Also three roles in a NOC is insufficient, make it 8-10 roles or 10-15 roles.
10-15 roles ke? Suppose you don't have that many roles nko? This is the first time I'm reading the minimum number of roles you need oh

Someone on the "Living in Canada" thread said he/she got their PPR in 23 days! I said let me do small research and some people on Canadavisa have gotten theirs in 5 days, 29 days, 18 days etc. Amazing.
Those were posts from 2017 sha. Not sure they'd grant people PPR so quickly now

Hello e-fam, before you guys lambast me, I know this may not be the right platform to ask for this but it is very much related. Thanks.
No it won't. Express Entry application is different from tourist visa application. You just have to inform them on your application that his tourist visa application was rejected twice.

Okay thank you, another quick question lol. Does pregnancy affect medicals in a negative way?
No it doesn't. You can do your medicals now if you're sure you'll be eligible for ITA come October or even November.

Hi Guys,

I have an issue concerning the personal history section. I worked two jobs at a time, one full time and the other part time. I am claiming points for the full time work and I mentioned the part time work in my personal history which is clashing with the same time as my full time work. Will that be an issue?
Should I leave the part time out?
It's not necessary that you add the part time work. If it was at the exact same time and you're getting all your points from your main work. No need to add side hustle

Which part is false? Can you point me to where IRCC states in-laws can be used to claim points? Or is it wrong for his/her spouse using siblings the incorrect bit?

No. Only if he’s a PR or citizen
You can only claim sibling points with a sibling (brother or sister). You can't use extended family members for this

No. They must be your blood or step siblings. Your spouse can claim his siblings though, if he's the primary applicant

Hello House, I also had my law degree assessed by WES as Bachelors' degree. How did yours go?
My advise to Lawyers who haven't assessed their degree would be to go with IQAS. It's long but it will give you peace of mind. I still plan on submitting my application with the WES report and LOE and I'll pray and see how it goes. The VO makes the final determination and IRCC has already stated this fact about Law degrees. If you google this topic on Canadavisa, you'd see some Lawyers have gotten PPR this way.
If you have money and patience you can still go with IQAS sha

Yes..it can..better wait and don't say anything till you have finished the process then you sponsor your spouse..recently I heard that there would be penalties if IRCC later discover that you lied about your family situation like having a wife and kids..
This is false, dangerous information that can get you banned for 5 years. There are no dire consequences of getting married post AOR. All you will need to do is inform IRCC evidence of your marriage and your husband will have to do medicals and the like (someone please correct me here)
Hiding information like this will do you more harm than good. Let us try and stop cutting corners with life changing actions/decisions

I just looked through their website. You are correct. I didn't know Naija degree holders had to send a copy of their degree. For my own country of study, they only required transcripts. My apologies

Unless WES have changed their requirements or the requirements are different for those who have Nigerian degrees, they ask that your school send your transcripts to them. I didn't send my degree to them, neither did they ask for it. I did my ECA report this year. They don't accept documents from you. It has to be sent from your school

Your school should send your transcript to WES. They're not asking for your degree. It's the transcript they will assess

Please I have some questions wrt NYSC for proof of work experience. Is it compulsory I add the account statement for the allawee?
Secondly, I was paid in cash and my PPA is stating this on the letter. Is this enough or I need to do an LOE?
Thirdly do I need to mention it at all (maybe via an LOE) that it was NYSC or I can be silent on this?
1. No. You just need a reference letter.
2. Go to page one and check out something called a salary certificate. Read up on other people who's salaries were paid in cash. It shouldn't be a problem as quite a few people have received PPR even though they were paid in cash. You just need a reference letter. Anything extra is you overdoing but an LOE may help also.
3. This is up to you. As long as you worked in the organisation and the position you worked in is stated, it should suffice.
Others here may have stronger advise to give you though. I maybe wrong.

Please make una no vex. If you're using mutual funds with Stanbic, ARM or any other fund, does the POF have to strictly follow CIC format? I've seen an example of a POF letter from Stanbic which didn't follow CIC format, so I just want to be sure. Thanks guys

[quote author=thirdpage post=82176671]Hi Guys, please I need some advice on best approach. I have 4 years’ experience under NOC 1111. However, I currently work part time (less than 1 year) under a different NOC. While applying for my ITA I included both jobs. Now post-ITA I am thinking of taking out the other NOC (and just include it in my personal history) as it does not really affect my score, then just stick to 1111. Will this be a problem? Note, I don’t have a problem in getting reference letters from both jobs!

Just use the job with four years experience for work experience. Place the part time work in personal experience. You've passed the 3 years max experience needed

Hi guys I have a question and I hope someone will be kind enough to answer
I did my ECA together with my souse early 2018 and we only evaluated degree and post graduate certificates because then there was no requirement to evaluate WAEC. Now that we just want to begin the EE process, do we have to evaluate WAEC?
You're okay. The WAEC requirement is recent and only applies to people who got their undergrad degree in Nigeria. Your ECA hasn't expired, so you can use it

He said 1.2m but I will pay the first 200k for visa processing.......
If you apply yourself, you will save at least N600k if not more. Its better to do it yourself and save your money plus any headache with CIC than to enrich some agent who may not even know the process well enough. Alot of them are scammers.
The process is easy. Visit the CIC website or go to page one of this thread

A company with online presence (here, a website) is expected to have email address in its domain name. However; since IRCC doesn't specify this, using an e-mail address with regular domain name shouldn't be a problem as long as the employer is verifiable.
Okay. Thanks

Thanks for the advice.

I have created an account on WES and have listed my uk masters, my fut minna BEng and WAEC.

If I certify only masters can I check my points before sending the other credentials later?
Oga, please just evaluate your masters and remove your bachelors degree. I know we as Nigerians like stress but you don't need stress in your life with this process. Just evaluate the Masters and save yourself headache.

Slow down. An organization/company only acts as a third party to help you receive the notes from CIC.
Only "Canadian citizens, permanent residents and any individual present in Canada can make a request under the Access to Information Act. If you are none of the above, you can ask a representative, who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, to make a request for you, if you give that person written consent."

See for yourself http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=463&top=1

PS: Through the consent form and notes, the third party has access to your personal information and that's what villagegirl is jittery about. Thus, ordering GCMS notes is an individual's choice.
Thanks for this information
