From the IRCC website glitch, discovered by some Canadavisa forum members, seems all programs draw is reverting back to norm.
What glitch?

Thanks for the reply, I guess I’m going to try WES with a detailed LOE since A bachelors of Law is a bachelors of Law and according to CIC, a professional degree. I have a one year paid experience and also have a sister who’s a PR. I stand on 471 with my simulated score.
Don't do it oh. Assess your LLB with IQAS. Your application will be rejected. A word is enough for the wise

Do not, and I repeat it again, do not listen to that IRCC account when it comes to assessment of Law degrees.
If you're a Lawyer, just use IQAS and be patient, unless age is on your side or you choose to assess BL from Law school.
If you make mistake and use WES assesment (law degree is equivalent to 4 years Bachelor degree) and go and claim Masters, anyone you see, take it like that.
Like Debbie said, VO reviewing your application is different from the social media account person managing their account. They should stop giving out that false information

I think comprehension or lack of is the problem here. While checking, meanings of sponsor and sponsored with regards to Canadian immigration are needed.
I comprehend well thanks. I didn't see the part were he said she herself had been sponsored.
There's no need to be rude on this blessed day

you are the one missing the point. According to the guy his fiancée was sponsored meaning she got married and was sponsored by spouse. Now she is obviously divorced and wants to marry the guy in question. This is not allowed for a certain number of years so as to discourage arrangee marriages. E.g you use marriage to come to canada, get pr and divorce, then go bring your real boo from nigeria.
I went back to check and saw that. I thought she had gotten in through EE and people were now arguing that she couldn't sponsor her fiancee. Makes sense

Nigerians don't know this part. It is not that she is particularly banned but it is a provision to discourage marriage of convenience. Once you were sponsored, you divorce, and wanna bring in someone whether you marry the person with 1million dollars and even have a child, you must wait for the stipulated years to sponsor or be sponsored. However, if you want to marry within Canada, same day of divorce is finalized is possible.
So if you're newly married and your spouse is a non Canadian, you have to wait 5 years to sponsor them? Hmmm. Haven't read this before oh but I will check

I hope you know IRCC officials frequently view this thread. All they have to do is note down the full name and all personal details of yours you have been doing copy and paste all over this forum. Then they cross their legs and jejely wait for you and your ‘wife’ to submit your application. 5years 600years loading

Best of luck.

The PR you'll be issued is for 5years, so out of the 5yrs, you must stay for atleast 2years.. The OP still has up to 2yrs left to fulfill that requirement...
Oh cool. Thanks for the explanation

The story of my return to Canada.

Hello all, you may know (or not know me). I started this thread 3 years ago when I wanted to understand what it was going to take to live in Canada. We had our soft landing in 2017 which I shared.

So, our decision was to finally migrate in the summer of 2020. By then, my daughter will have completed her primary education. And then covid-19 struck! In the mist of the chaos, the fears and global uncertainties, we maintained that it is still a good decision to move. We have spent close to 3 years in Naija. It was going to be now or we lose out completely.
Forgive me for prying but I thought one needed to be in Canada for 2 out of 5 years in order to renew their PR? Where you and your husband travelling back and forth in the intervening years?

I'm sure she should have been banned by now with all the foul talk.
Don't reduce urself to her level, she was clearly mentally lazy/dont know how to conduct SIMPLE research and was defensive instead of being humble and learn....the information she needed could be gotten easily on google and page 1.Yet she had more strength to quarrel that research.

Well, my powers are used on the right ways. I attack evil people, and bad people in the society not innocent people looking for information on social media. I don't bully people, but I fight only the evil ones
As for politicians, if ever they see my Twitter posts, they would have felt me. I fight them with how much power I have
So you were raining curses on me for pointing out how silly it was for you to ask on how to proceed for a process were information is readily available? Loool.

You are very lucky I didn't see what you wrote. It's been deleted. You tink sey you get bad mouth and crase abi? I laugh

If not that I'm refined and the fact that I'd probably be banned from this forum, when I finish telling you the story of your life, confusion would set upon you.

Please I need steps to take after collection of ITA. Please is there a thread for that? I need to know the price of medical test and where people are doing it
Are you for real? You've gotten to the stage of ITA and you don't know the steps to take going forward? I don't believe you. IRCC informs you every step of the way and the process is self-explanatory. Anyone on this journey who doesn't read up on this process isn't ready to emigrate. This is just comical

Overall, I'll say that an essential key to passing this exam is by practising constantly and working on your problem areas.
Thanks for the response. I still think you're an English guru but this will go a long way in helping others. I wish you the best on this journey

Hello everyone, I received the outcome of my EOR on Thursday and my Writing has increased to 7.5. I applied for EOR a few hours after I saw my result online and the whole remark process took 6 days. To everyone that encouraged me to go for a remark, I say a big Thank You, your words of encouragement gave me strength. This exam was also my first attempt.
How on earth did you get this almost perfect score? What was your strategy and how did you study?
Well done!

My opinion on this matter is the same as yours but I lack the words to fully express myself.

SixSigma1 and friends, of all the people you know that has the police invited into their "domestic abuse affairs", how did it end up? Is the family bond stronger today? That's what I mean by saying the system will tear your family apart. Unlike Nigeria where you can kiss and make up, in Canada you and your partner would kiss and make up alright , but that would be with other people and your children will be watching, learning and asking questions to whoever the law deemed fit enough to raise them.

I don't support abusive relationships, but when the police gets involved, say bye bye to your family.
You do support abusive marriages going by your words in bold. Nigerians just believe that marriage or the "home" is paramount and nothing should ever break it up, no matter how bad or continuous the detrimental actions of a spouse are to the other spouse or the children. Marriages break up and life goes on, as with all things and thankfully Nigerians are slowly beginning to understand this.

Abuse is not something you can "kiss and makeup" over. The abuser is sick and will do it again and again till the abused spouse leaves or is killed.
It is better for a wife or a husband to leave an abusive marriage and be "scattered" as you put it than to suffer irreparable damage. There are single Parent households full of love, care and sacrifice, that have brought up beautiful, upstanding children in their societies.

No strong family bond can come out of an abusive marriage and you and Bossman are just making excuses and (in Bossman's case) being extremely rude about it.
Neither of your opinions have any bearing on Canada's system. They will uphold the law and protect their citizens, unlike Nigeria that is a breeding ground for nonsense.

Let's try and be kind. Some people are just visiting this thread for the very first time. Such people do not deserve to be fed wrong information just for your entertainment. The difference between them n you is that you found this thread before them, not because there is something special about your IQ.
She has been on this thread for a while and even if she hadn't it still isn't an excuse to ask such a question. If you refuse to do your own personal research before coming here, any information you see that is misleading and you believe it, you will take it like that

Thank you soo much.

Thank you to those that abused him as well. It will definitely end in praise.

God bless you all.
I suggest you tell this person not to write any letter. Oyinbo people don't take fraud or lies likely, especially for immigration and ignorance is not an excuse. Plus he willingly lied on his application that his Uncle is his Father because of sponsorship. He could have been honest and said his Uncle was his sponsor and provided proof.
All a letter will do now, no matter how sorrowful and heart wrenching it is, is hasten the 5 year ban he will chop. I think an unsuccessful applicants data is deleted from their system after two years or so per their data privacy policy, so he should try again when that happens.
