If IBB becomes president than Gbenga daniels is safe, if Jonathan becomes president he is not.

Daniels and Obj have not been on good terms. Jonathan is Objs guy, So its expected for Daniels to side with IBB.

I think daniels or some other SW fellow might be his running mate- to get SW votes. but then again Kalu is IBBs guy in the East. so who knows.

If IBB becomes president OK- it can be an advantage to the south as the norths term will only be 6.5 years, while the souths term in 2015 will be 8 years again.

So if they are smart they will make jonathan president in 2011, so power can comeback to north in 2015 for a full 8 years.

Not to do so will just be dumb for the north because yaradua  wa president for about 2.5 unproductive years while Jonathan a southerner finished the northern term. Which means the north will not have 8 full years but only 6.5 years if they choose to have power in 2015.

If theres a Northern president in 2011- the norths whole term is about 6.5 years
If Jonathan president in 2011- the Norths term starts over 2015 - with 8 full years
