The Chinese are in their thousands in Nigeria.😂

Nigeria is better than China that’s why they migrated….very sophisticated and smart Yoruba man😂😂
. The Chinese hardly come to Nigeria with their families besides their presence in Nigeria is strictly business. They serve as agents for goods produced in their home country. The Ibos in Lagos come to make a life in Lagos. They don't produce what they are selling in most cases as they import them. Infact their economic activity is not exactly beneficial to the economy of both the region they reside in as well as the country at large.

the reason people migrate to southwest is because of lagos, it's the same reason why Segun in ado-Ekiti will prefer to move to Lagos
. The economic power house of southwest is Ibadan . Lagos gained prominence due to federal capital status just like Abuja is doing. We have alot of Ibos on my street in Ogun state. They engage in tailoring , selling provisions , drugs etc their children are also here going to schools . Many of them are married to Ibo women . Now imagine several years down the line they start saying their region is better. Why then did they migrate

The reason people migrate to a region is for better prospects . This simply means lack of satisfaction in their region for one reason or the other. How many Nigerians have migrated to Somalia or Afghanistan or Yemen. Now imagine some funny guy from Yemen telling you Ibadan is underdeveloped or has zinc rusted roofs then backs up his claim with pictures from a city in Yemen.

The point to note is southwest will always determine the fate of foreigners in their domin . They can close markets or demolish structures at will. It will be pathetic like almost happened in Lagos if south Easterners determine the fate of southwesterners in southwest . An emigrant is always an emigrant . If you feel your region is better kindly stay there and die there. No need for comparison.

Politics / Re: Economic Confidential Names Lagos, 6 Others Viable States, Declares 6 Insolvent by skj1377(m): 7:39am On Dec 22, 2023
Stupid report. The so called revenue federal government is sharing is from crude explored in Bayelsa and akwaibom states sold in International markets largely . It's like brain dead people in Federal government these days. Why not start resource control and we still see if those states will not be one of the wealthiest. Idiots.

In my area I can't count any Ibo owned house. In the estate of one of my properties in Bauchi only one of six is owned by Ibo.
Truly Ibo own lots of property as they dominate building materials business. A non Ibo may spend N6m to build while an Ibo man spends N4m or less to build same thing . Secondly, most Ibo are into trading and always adjust to inflation for items they sell hence both their profit and capital is preserved while other tribes are into public or private employment which don't adjust to inflation hence they get impoverished.
All hope is not lost as Nigeria will transition away from importation soon.
