That road is a strategic road linking SS to SW directly without going through Nigerian hinterland . The equivalent of this is linking North to Niger Republic by road and rail implanted by Buhari. Tinubu has the balls. Am sure Jonathan is wondering why he could not do all these.

Politics / Re: Tinubu Approves Implementation Of Orosanye Report At FEC Today by skj1377(m): 6:20pm On Feb 26
Job losses looming . Tinubu is like a multidimensional poverty and misery instigator. He will have only one term! I doubt if he will be spoken well of afterwards . That report that other presidents refused to implement due to the misery it will bring many Nigerian families. The man has no known sympathy. Funny enough all these policies will only make more Naira available to be looted. The major problem of graft and judiciary have not been tackled it's saving money he is after. This man is a wicked type of Jonathan. Buhari was an angel .

Business / Re: CBN limits Dollar Purchase From BDCs: $10000 For School Fees, $5000 For Medicals by skj1377(m): 5:19pm On Feb 26
The black market will surface again. Reason is 90% of request are not legitimate. So black market rate will be any dollars sources outside official CBN sources . The huge limitation of the dollars in this window will result in a value above N3000 per $. In other words harmonization of Forex window will never be achieved in Nigeria irrespective of value of Naira.

Politics / Re: Worsening Economy: Stop Floating Of Naira Immediately, Sagay Tells Tinubu by skj1377(m): 4:14pm On Feb 22
Bluearrow:

Governors should determine the value of a nation currency?? What did I just read?

The government can peg the Naira and filter out illicit request. Swiss franc was pegged against the euro for 4yrs till 2014. China constantly manipulates Thier yuan for strategic national interests. CFA is stronger than the Naira as at today you tell me what is the value of their GDP?? What are they producing same as Togo, Cameroon and Niger.
Politics / Re: Worsening Economy: Stop Floating Of Naira Immediately, Sagay Tells Tinubu by skj1377(m): 4:07pm On Feb 22
The demand for dollar is not from economic activities like you think. The demand is mostly for speculative gain or lunder illicit funds. A good example is the FAC allocations that still somehow find there way to Forex market. The Naira can be stable for genuine economic activities at N85 to $. ,to further buttress my point after or during election year the Naira depreciated starting from Obasanjo erra till Buhari but for the first time in history during the last election Naira remained stable. This was simply due to the restriction on use of money for election. Think about it well
COMPAQ:

OK that means we will have to defend the Naira. Where is that dollar going to come from? We will borrow dollar so thst CBN will keep dollar steady at 900 for all of is to be importing?

When will we bite this bullet we are all avoiding.

Maybe this current situation is useful for Nigeria. In other countries even before half of this citizens would be protesting at the NASS. But here the NASS has budget of N300 Ln, more than most states, but the citizens only come out to walk for Mohbad.

The we aren't serious.
Politics / Re: Worsening Economy: Stop Floating Of Naira Immediately, Sagay Tells Tinubu by skj1377(m): 2:00pm On Feb 22
The idea of floating the Naira is wrong. Gov should determine the value of the Naira to dollar based on their strategic national interests. Floating the Naira makes it permanently unstable.

And you want foreign investors from other countries in your country?

See the e-diots supporting Tinubu

Idiot !! Iran has no foreign investors and their purchasing power is far better than Nigeria even with all the international sanctions. Almost all notable foreign investors have left Russia yet their currency is outperforming the Euro and dollar. Keep on looking for foreign investors to solve your problems. Idiotic ode

Ban use of dollar in Nigeria. Ban crypto of any kind. Never sell dollars to bank. Companies requesting dollars should be inspected by son , firs and Nafdac before request can be granted . Finally stop payment of school fees abroad. No direct benefits to Nigeria.

Useless stupid people call themselves leaders. In all of these Jonathan is the most useless president I ever knew in the whole world. Why because he inherited a system that was ok and working only for him to be useless and he eventually plunged this country into a mess. If not for his stupidity this nonsense apc would not have had the chance to be in government.

Absolutely correct. But we could go further down to Obasanjo who rigged yaradua in . Nigeria is failing fast

Politics / Re: Speculators Undermine Measures To Stabilize Foreign Exchange Market – Ribadu by skj1377(m): 8:06pm On Feb 20
The idea of floating a currency makes it speculation prone . A good example every December Naira will crash due to foreign coys repatriation of profits for the year. A speculator will simply buy in January sell in December year in year out. Best thing cancel this foolish policy before your gov is replaced.

Hardship. A country with so many professor's but no manufacturing base. Imagine senators importing jeep at N180million and feeling shameless about it. Next thing some idiot will say it's cheaper to import cars than manufacturing locally , then back up such senseless policy with unproven economic jargons . Am sure the central bank Governor has started to understand that Havard training is not sufficient in Nigeria.
