Just to chip in a bit about the tuition deposit and the balance of the fees itself, and I am talking from seeing peoples experiences as student ambassador in my former Uni. Not to discourage anyone, but after tuition deposit and all, schools have structured the rest of fees payment and sometimes the pressure to meet up is real For example, before COVID, a Cov Uni with perhaps £12k fees will perhaps have a £4K deposit to get CAS, and then get to £8K during enrollment and the balance in 3months. The pressure students face in meeting up with this structure sometimes is not funny, before you know it you start getting regular emails and reminders from finance, or tier 4 team or international offices etc. Please make sure you know the structure of how this will work in your school and put measures in place to meet up.

The point is, try to think of the bigger picture outside just the deposit and plan for it adequately. Things might be slightly easier now with COVID but it should be on your mind.

But for one who has stopped working for a while and with retired parents, I was of the opinion of using my Uncle's account since he is the major sponsor and in active service of a good job.
I also don't want the issue of VO questioning how a retiree or someone not working ATM could possibly afford such funds

Tell your uncle to transfer to your account or your parents' account because an application with an uncle's bank statement will be rejected for lack of sufficient and acceptable financial evidence.
Money must be in the account at 28 days prior to the online submission of your application.

When asked about how you got the funds in your account, you simply say that your uncle or your parent(s) (if the money is transferred to their account instead of yours) who is funding your UK study gave you the money.

Legal guardianship is usually granted when a child is below legal age, not for anyone over 18. The only adults who can get legal guardians are adults who are incapacitated, incompetent or disabled.

If yes, what type of visa will be issued to the mum and what's the duration? Mum can apply for a visit visa, but she cannot live in the U.K.. She can only visit for a short period of time. There’s 6 months visa, 2 years visa, 5 years visa & 10.
What of the student’s partner? Is he/she unavailable to help with the baby?

For clarity, you can get cards for your domicilary accounts and use such cards online or to withdraw outside the country.

You can also carry above $10k or £10k, you only have to declare it once it's over the threshold of $10k.

No one can predictably tell you how the currency market will go and you have to bear the consequences of it rising or falling. I had some FX last year and was thinking of changing to Naira as the rates were good but my spouse argued against it. When I needed the same currency this year, i found out i had saved above N500k by not changing as I thought I should have last year! The rate depends on many factors that no one has any control over.

You may be high this afternoon. 35 hours work during holiday and 20 hours during school term. School is on session now for those writing dissertation and that resumed for september 2019. I have submitted my dissertation and very eligible to work full time. What else??

STENON:
The best is to pick sense in what Justwise has said. UKVI didn't send him a letter for breach of student visa or anything, he studied, sticked to the rule and finished well. He has been advising people to stick to UKVI rules which is an advantage if we do that. He is living his good life in UK.

If you like work 100 hours per week, remember everything has a record and your future applications shall tell the story.
