I also think kids raised in Nigeria are better off,but take note, not all kids raised in Nigeria turn out fine,the best are those raised by average parents,the importance of hardwork is ingrained in them at an early age, respect for elders and for parents are also important aspects,fear for parents at early stage of life which later turns to respect as the child grows older is also there. let me tell u a story,when I wrote jamb,I scored relatively good and wanted to change to another University for some reasons but my dad disagreed and used that African parent force on me,I wasn't happy about it initially but when cutoff mark for the school I intended changing to came out,I didn't meet the cutoff I thought would not have been a problem,what am saying in essence Is that if I were to be a kid raised in America,I definitely would have changed universities and that would have been a big mistake I would not have been able to recover from. At teenage age, children exhibit youthful exuberance and require guide from someone they both respect and fear to walk them through it. the moment I realised the level of insolence kids raised in America exhibits was when I watched the movie "power",it will be difficult for a kid raised by an average Nigerian parent to turn out like Tariq in that movie (nb=emphasis on average Nigerian parent,not the extremely rich or extremely poor parent)

I have never looked forward to her assisting me financially and I am not accusing her of extramarital affairs. I feel bad being so disrespectful and not being caring for our home. Lol,u seriously don't have to be scared about marriage,what's important is that you go into it with the view of facing reality,theres a book called the delimna of a ghost,if u read through it thoroughly, you will know how to handle immediate and extended family issues in marriage better(I haven't read it though,hoping to buy it very soon but my dad has told me about the book and how it helped him to solve certain issues in his early married life)

Oga there's nothing I did not do just for us to remain on talking terms but the young man will not have any of it. It got to a point he summoned us (including our Mother) to the police station for us to write an undertaken that none of us will come close to his house and family. The police people try to advise him but baba refuse to listen.

The one that happened to me was because she needed accommodation.

You could die before 40 years, and you could also live beyond 40years. How long you'll live is not guaranteed because life is so fragile. Many People who died at a young age never would have thought that they'd die. If you like be Optimistic about it, you still might not live longer than someone who's tired of life.
This is reality. Getting scared because of the thought of dying young and saying I'm imposing facts on you just shows you're chicken. Anyways, na u sabi. Just be good to your fellow man. Life is fragile.
