Plenty! ...but I'm not sure I have the will... ![]() |
If I would say..... I really do not think any of you both deserve the lady.... Not the one who doubts her fertility without reasons and not the one who thinks it's be her loss if she doesn't marry him because he's the best she could have and she's 30 . ![]() |
Nutase: Ademotors166=heavy gSo you mean this thread is purely for entertainment? I was beginning to wonder how ademotors found this thread and how conveniently he is the subject of discussion fiance.... Thank you for the expose! ![]() |
ademotors166: Heavy G, Seriously or for play? |
I cannot believe people are making a mockery of a fellow human's death for tribal reasons.... Half the posts on this thread must have been made by really sick people!! |
Big.game: hycode: Addiction naturally dies when there are alternatives.IMHO he might just be studying a course in the university he has little or no interest in(i.e not challenged). Why don't you guys ask him if he would like to be a football coach or be in the football biz in the future. You can either use this to lure him to get his degree first or just encourage him in a new career path. It pays to have combine career with passion. He chose his course of study. He is an engineering student. |
yellowpawpaw: It can be really annoying though. The problem is no even with connecting with him. He has brothers and a father who equally love sports and football but his obsession scares them too. That's how bad it is. I just finished a admonition short admonition with him before starting this thread. Big sis is really worried and she's not the only one who is. |
Acidosis: A 17 year old pupil is still liable to recieve some 'strokes'. Undergraduate or not, it doesn't change a thing.Acid, rod bawo? ...at only a few months to 18 and almost 5'8 inches tall? It's long past that my brother. I'd take your advice if he was less than 10. I'm assuming you wrote this tongue in cheek though. ![]() |
How Do We Curtail His Football Madness? This might sound funny but it really is not and its disturbing. It's past obsession and addiction and if there's any deeper substitute name for those two words,it should be called just that. He is 17 and in his first year in the university. He spent these last 6 months ASUU strike break doing nothing asides sleeping, playing PS ,watching super sports and browsing on everything that has to do with just football. He can spend the whole day in front of a screen playing football. He doesn't mind skipping breakfast or lunch just to punch pads all day. If he has to listen to news, its sports news. If he picks up a newspaper, its just straight to the sports section. Every other aspect of the news or every other page of the newspaper does not count to him. I understand its okay to have hobbies the same way I understand one should be able to create a balance between that and lots of other things that make up life. What makes it the more scary is that he has no knowledge of anything outside football and his field of study. Not even other sports, basic current affairs and even lots of basic general knowledge. You would be amazed at the simplest of questions he cannot answer for his age and level. He has no views or opinions about anything outside football nor can he contribute to or discuss any topic that's not football. The other day I caught him mumbling the words "Is it a penalty?" in his SLEEP!! ...and before, you say talk to him, counsel him, give him other ideas of fun that would be beneficial,be sure that we(his parents inclusive) have done all that. He doesn't have a personal laptop at the moment and the only reason he doesn't is everyone has fears that 90 percent of what he'll do with it is football. How can one's life be that streamlined? Is it healthy? Are we worrying unnecessarily? Will he grow out of it? Its worrisome. Your inputs would be appreciated. |
tpia@:Why are you so pained? Is being so old too unpalatable a tag to wear? What has what I view in the news got to do with the fact that you are a miserable grumpy woman with mostly twisted views and warped perceptions? If I've seen 30 many moons ago,I'd glory in it not carry bile inside of me everywhere I go just like you do. ...and btw,I'll stay in anything I choose to on NL regardless of who it concerns. You should have gotten used to it by now. If you haven't though, please do. I'm your cancer!!! |
greatgod2012: aunty Yemi, what are you insuniating? That Wunmi isn't as good-looking as Tunde. Well, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, she isn't bad anyway, only that she's extra size.Of course!! Its a staring truth. Many beholders have the same opinion ![]() |
^^^or you meant to say. "this woman again"?? |
dayokanu: This is common when the elder is female and the immediate younger is maleTrue!! |
One of the few cases where I believe love is blind. ![]() I hope those three children take their looks from their father ![]() |
Splendoured: HouseWhat happened to you? When did u start shrinking away from sex except when tipsy? What was the trigger? Maybe if you can remember how you stopped being normal like you put it,you would know where to start fixing it ![]() ...and then.. Do you resent you husband in any way? Does he know that you get high before getting down? Does he mind? |
Why is Funke wearing a see-through? ![]() |
He had surbodination issues when we were younger and I showed him pepper too- emi egbon ti o gba nonsense but we are both over that now. Maturity happened to us both. |
He really doesn't owe anyone an explanation. He is a reasonable Naija husband. They are an oustanding pair. ![]() |
baralatie: pls dont misunderstand o!what she is saying is this....and I'm saying there's nothing wrong with that. If you can't deal, walk away. Terms and conditions apply to everything and everywhere. ![]() |
