ladies feel more confident and relevant if they get to meet thier partners family. In my opinion,its a step that should only be taken when both partners are willing and have agreed to seal the deal...not before. It complicates issues especially if they have to part ways sometime down the line. It creates a false sense of belonging esp.for the lady.some families don't care how many partners their peeps bring home..every girl/boy would always be welcome! It makes one prone to a lot of unnecessary assessments and judgements...and subjects one to almost unavoidable obligations. . . If you are in a relationship,stay away from each others families..do your things...have fun ...enjoy the relationship while it lasts and if for any reason you have to part ways,it'll be less complicated. No unnecessary explanations... No unnecessary judgements..or unnecessary poke-nosing or trying to settle or unsettle whatever is/is not there! Keep it simple..just you and me! |

op,i have come again... Forget all these people preaching about emotions and blah blah.. The truth is if your jobless situation doesnt change soon,chances are you'll lose your girlfriend...and you'd have lost this shot all because of the twist...which you can work around if you are willing to.. Its either going to be a win-win or lose-lose situation depending on how you play it. You can have your girlfriend and have that job if you play the game bennyraz's or pendo's style..that's win-win! And if you go with sexkillz holier than thou emotional and irrational stlye...you are likely to lose all. Life's a game! A word is enough for the wise! |

the problem is not the issue of jealousy...its you not showing enough interest in your gf's lives. Showing interest doesnt mean jealousy. Your girl(s) want you to know more about them than you are willing. ...its like giving them the 'i nor send you attidude' or the 'dey your side,make i dey my side' attitude no 'wanting to be serious' girlfriend would like that.. Disinterest in this case can be likened to unseriousness! |
