That Siena's aunt's story make me want to share my aunt's... My aunt lived in a 2-bedroom apartment that never got swept or cleaned. Her husband was cool with it. They were and still are made for each other! I would walk into her kitchen and her soup pots would be open without lids on them. Same with all the palm oil or groundnut oil kegs. She said she usually forgets to replace the lid of anything. Dirty plates and pans would litter the sink and she'd only wash one or two when she needs it and leave the rest. The bin was always flowing with dirt. The whole house would be littered with clothes such that you'd have to push the clothes my aunt or hubby wore to work the previous day aside before you find a place to sit in their living room. Everytime I went there,I would engage myself with cleaning the house and tidying up their clothes while she'll be calling out to me not to worry that I should come and let's gist instead. When she had children,it got worse. She'd soak her child's nappy and clothes for days in the bathroom with flies buzzing everywhere. The kitchen became worse. Her white gas cooker became black and meshed with dry food spills. It was never cleaned. There was a day I opened her freezer and saw a bowl of freezed decayed beans. It happened that power was gone for a few days but she didn't bother to take stuff out of the freezer and when power was restored,she didn't bother too. Her cushion and rug smelled of child pee all the time. Her clothes too. There was a day I had to sleep over and the wrapper she gave me to cover up stank to heavens. I couldn't sleep all night. There was one singular prayed her husband used to pray for me each time I went there then. He'd say "As you have tidied our home,the lord will tidy your life"  She knows she's dirty. I have told her stylishly more than a few time. Her co workers have too sublty but nothing has changed till date. |

SpicyMimi: I tink am the only person who doesnt finds this thread funny, probably because ve onced had d same problem, though nt with a spouse cause m nt married yet bt with a relative.You better tell op the real secret to how your relative changed. I don't find the story funny either. Just that op's husband beat my aunt who I used to think was the dirtiest person ever. Her husband even had to blend and go with the flow at some point so the filth became bliss and it is so till date. |

I have seen dirty people and i know dirty people but this op's husband's level is all new to me. This is the eeeewest part .... after sex, he will use d same Op,you've got a big baby in your hands. How far can you run away from this? It'll still come to bite you somehow. Moving to another room won't solve the problem .I'd have said you should constantly throw your disgust in his face with words maybe it'll get to him someday but that'd be nagging and it might not solve anything.Its hard for a grown man like him to change. Keep doing what you have to. Maintain cleanliness as much as you can and gradually he may start to see what you won't take or tolerate and start making little efforts to change them. You can't leave him to himself.It'll only get worse.. |

Naturally,I hate dogs and fear them. The way I scream when local ones come close to me cannot be described talk less if this beast does. Though not the smartest move but slimyem at that point will not be thinking nothing. She'll scream ,shout, and cry while also running with every might in her. |

This matter has no fantastic solution. Mama is going nowhere and its rather too late for the husband to sever ties this strong. I know this kinds. I'm almost certain there's a brick wall waiting right at the end of any talks with him about it. Pity op didn't understand what she signed up for before she did.
