The statement good "luck blowing your 30k" is unnecessary. Many of us stated with less thank 30k and today our story have changed.
how many statistically speaking? one domain name cost 3k-5k now to hand register... how many domains would he buy before that 30k is gone? exchange rate is not your friend.

we are saying same thing. He thinks it is a get rich quick scheme... I was only suggesting a back up plan for him. At least it is how I approach issues in life.

It is not my money afterall. I have sold quite a lot of domain name though.

I have 30k
can I start this domain business?
NO! find a service-based skill to learn so that you can sell it after learning. It could be graphics design... you can charge 5k naira per design or more... let's say charge 10k naira per design. Do like 10 per month and you have 100k naira or even 150k... then you can switch to domaining a bit.

There is no guaranty that you will make a sale on that 30k if you register a domain name now. You might even blow up your 30k and still no sales. So what do you do?

So far, he seems to be the only candidate campaigning. What are the rest waiting for? Nothing good comes easy. Inasmuch I want Peter Obi, no message from him so far.

You will hear from Peter Obi. Already, he has made it known that he has the interest to contest should the ground be set. You will hear from him. PDP is taking their time.

yeah, we brought it upon ourselves as men. Though in my case when I used to do something like that, I did it with the intention of showing that I care and with good intentions too, not necessarily wanting to impress.

But what I sadly found out is that it is usual misunderstood and get me the opposite results. The most recent one led me to put a complete stop to it when a lady I was showing interest in said "If I want to bill you, I can bill you but to what end"... at that instance, I knew I had to stop doing all I was doing out of genuine intentions.

I registered my displeasure a week later to which she apologized but it was too late already and from there on, I started withdrawing from her.

I still feel some level of anger whenever I think about those words because it was the height of disrespect for me. But who will I blame? Myself of course!

This thing happens because we are the ones spoiling our women. In Western worlds, women feel embarrassed to do such or even ask a guy for money. Some don't like it when you pay their bills.

Anyway, we are the poverty HQ of the world...

There is a way Nigerian girls behave and it is obvious. I can't blame them though cos a lot of them are from poor home and they need to escape poverty but what happen to using their own brain and hand to rescue themselves since their father and mother couldn't?

Why does it have to be another woman's son? Money comes and goes but a kind heart will always be kind. I am at that stage where I don't feel the need to impress any lady anymore...

I share Eedris's point of view, how on earth can crooks like Atiku, Tinubu, Kwankwaso, Okorocha, Orji et al be gunning for the presidential seat?
These crooks have been in power for so long and ought to make way.

Funding an election is a capital intensive venture, the youths don't have the deep pockets to challenge these old crooks that have held power for so long. They can buy all that needs to be bought including the youths who are ready to insult and kill themselves. For example, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has a stipulated stipend running into billions that he has been collecting from Lagos State for over twenty years and as such has a lot of money to throw around. I doubt if any youth can match him. Same goes for Atiku and the other crooks.
The Youth have the network... we did it in endsars and we can do it again.

Can this get the privilege of hitting Nairaland front-page? Whichever way, all good.

Even though, I'm not that active on social media (I will improve); I wanna let y'all know I'm active on YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp, I G and tik tok.

Going hard, soonest.

Modified; I just found out, my post hit the front-page; honestly I'm overwhelmed with joy. I appreciate the mods, and everyone; I'm still at work. I'ma take my time to reply to all the mentions and comments, I appreciate y'all.

Here's my personal fb account created specially for my family https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100078537756668

And this is my email address, sir/ma sweetmusictv ejeonyi@gmail.com. I no longer have access to the former, thank you

Your writing is good and you spell well. Don't waste this on music. The music industry is tough. I am talking from the experience of my elder brother who wasted his years doing music...

Please hustle and buy a laptop, go to Udemy.com and find a skill that you can learn. You might become the best UX designer or Best programmer making $70k per year, who knows, you might even be a great copywriter going by the way you write...

music in Nigeria should a side thing... and never embark on it without other skills that can fetch you good money. When you have good money flowing in for instance, you can use it to test the music and see where it goes from there.

Same thing my mom and I were discussing tonight. There are thousands of good women who were unlucky to get bad men. Just wondering why life has been so unfair. So...bad..

And the few men that happens to be good, are given the bad women. Can life be any unfair than this?

As a good man or woman, when u get a good and lovely partner, u gat no idea what God has done for u.

I pray God blesses all good women and men out there with good soulmates.
Actually, it is because good people tolerate a lot and often let themselves down in the process.

Good people allow themselves to be disrespected by being too good and easily accessible. When you do that, you are no different from a cheap item that is easily found around and you know nobody values anything that is common and cheap.

This is why I advise people to be wicked when the need arises..., like be wicked to the point that even the devil will shiver.

Haha.. you vex gan.
It is annoying. These people think those doing good don't have the mind to be wicked if they want to. The chose to be good because it is the right thing to do, not because they are gullible.

na so one stupid girl, because I dey show my good side, go misyarn say "if I want to bill you, I can bill you but I don't want to" she said those words because these people automatically assume that once you are good, it means you are brainless and that you can't be wicked...

From the day she said, I started changing towards her... and I didn't hide it. It got to the point she said "You have something against me"

It is just as if they prefer you to be bad towards them... a very idiotic sense of reasoning.

I am still greatly confused. I don't think the error makes any difference...

I am saying 'people with good hearts' or rather people who think they have good hearts are just like Nice Guys and Girls who have an entitlement mentality. My issue is with the 'good' term. There are things that make a relationship work; personalities at play, and so on and having a 'good' heart (whatever that means) is not enough for a relationship to work. The post smack vibes of 'poor me, look at me, I am a good person but people are always talking advantage of it.' That was also why I had to ask what 'unlucky' refers toto. Relationships don't work out for a lot of reasons and people, all kind of people do crazy things to each other. It has nothing to do with how good or bad they are, I don't know. Evil is different from 'bad', which can be highly subjective depending on different scenarios, imo.

So people with 'good' hearts aren't some form of victims being specifically targeted. And don't confuse 'good' with innocence, gullibility, unassuming, what have you. Yes, those traits can make one susceptible to being taken advantage of, but those traits do not translate to 'goodness'. You grab?

Na why I dey ask say make you describe your own goodness or explain your equation in response to mine. Whether ability or inability, what makes a person good or bad? What make up a good heart? (Maybe I might go back up to read your comments if you've elaborated on it; I just commented without going through the other posts on the thread.)

Yep. Same old 'why does bad things happen to good people?' 'Good' is too vague and open a term to describe humans -- unless you're praising a particular thing about them or judging inanimate objects (book, painting, music).

Oh. It seems you misunderstood my post, lol. I was not giving a formula for relationships. It was a critique of the topic. Nothwithstanding, why would you ever think: ''People with good hearts'' = nice people/guys/girls + entitlement mentality - is a good formula for relationships?

No, I don't know why you're a wicked person.

JUST SAY you like taking advantage of people you perceived to be easygoing, neither do you appreciate them. Why go into a relationship with some only to feel their "goodness" is fake and allwhatnot?

From my point of view, it is because they are gullible most of the time, they tend to trust easily and overlook the hand writing on the wall.

It's also a test from God to know if your 'good heart' can stand the test of time, because good
attitude attract both good and bad, but never give up doing good, if those you are doing good to does not deserve it.

You are wrong. They are not gullible. People like you are the reason why being good should be removed from the earth. WTF is this nonsense you just wrote up there?

It is just people taking advantage of their naivety because they are not so exposed to understand how the world works... I am a very gentle and calm person and I also believe in treating women I date right but trust me that I am also the most unforgiven person if you cross some lines.

Most of you are so stupid that you think being good means someone is foolish. How do you come online to insult humans for doing something RIGHT? ARE YOU MAD? angry

I do have that orientation few months ago, but things change when I consider the nagative aspect of it with practical examples from extended family. It is good to relocate, but it is better to marry from your people, because one day your children will need their background which is Nigeria, but if you marry a white woman your children will be lost to a foreign country, because their mother will erase Nigeria from their memory.
It depends on how you play it. I have seen Nigerian men marrying foreigners and making sure they are connected to their root by bringing them home.

The first man I saw who did this brought back 4 of his daughters, without their mother, to Nigeria to start all over again. He raised them here...

So when you are playing it, make sure you have this planned ahead.
