Sure. But that area needs to be decentralized. Sane countries allow consumers to make choices, in naija case, how much electricity people get is imposed on the populace. If opportunities to revamp the electricity industry in Nigeria is open for bids from firms all over the world, and a transparent contract award process is followed, Nigeria can have 24/7 electricity in a matter of years. In our case, we already know sensitive and costly projects like that would go to cronies of the same old people we already know. They will end up taking the contract money, and throw one old transformer in the middle of Kainji dam and mark the project as complete. What do we expect from a nation led by selfish, dumb and blind old people? |
You mentioned Lagos, every driver is in a rush to get somewhere in Lagos, even the passengers. So, how can a common lane on the road stop people? Fences, barbed wires or barricades should be used to demarcate lanes, not just some markings on the road. People won't respect those markings. |
Which one of the two is the new Olajumoke? The one advertizing the yellow handkerchief or the one advertizing the yellow oranges? |
E don happen. |
Some African leaders will never do. Mugabe, come and see what your grand son's mate has just done. |
It appears certain people gets dumber by the day. Who is this maniac? The whole thrash published doesn't even make any sense. ICC kor, ABC ni. |
Psychos everywhere. |
omonighoblessing:What language is this? |
If you are interested in getting a medical degree that is still valuable in the US, you may want to research some schools in the neighboring Caribbean Islands. Several Americans interested in medical studies take that route to reduce tuition fees and are considered same as those that racked up the same amount you quoted within the US. So, why spend that much for what you can get cheaper elsewhere and still get same level of acceptance? Think about it. |
Adaure4ever:Women and how they think. None of them asked if the dapper windshield cleaner was married, now one is asking if the governor is married. Who can't spot an opportunist these days? |
eigmaticme:Love conquers nothing in this case. If it was me, there's nothing else to discuss. This is reality, not nollywood things. |

What is this one saying? What is the relationship between Federalism and MKO Abiola? He should have opened two unrelated threads, one for Federalism and the other to remember MKO on June 12. See these people wey think say everybody still never wise up. |
I'm outta this thread. I don't want to end up twisted like many folks here. |
OP, please try not to blaspheme even if ure not religious. Some of your readers are religious and have reasons to react to certain things you said. One that caught my attention was where you said "the mumu god..." Thats indeed uncalled for, no matter whatever you may have been reading. Who even told you God wrote the bible himself? Dude, I really think you're sick and need some healing. |
What's the big deal about a sword when people talk about guns and bombs these days? |
Facebook is going too far by even trying to sync every pix one takes with his or her phone. Who wants all their private stuff anywhere on the internet? These days, I take a pix of anything and Facebook asks if I want to share. Does that make sense to anyone? It's crap to me. |
Looks like a paid ad. So, which one of the above is the Shola, the old woman in the first picture or the doll in the last one? |
Nice write-up. I love the research work behind it. |
Odunkola is naturally tall, but he looks like a midget next to this man. |

sheedy407:Jaja of Opobo helped you with your assignments? Are you typing this from inside a grave? |
Why is he signing with a red biro? I don't trust him. |
Ultimatesammie:I never said everytime. It depends on the states and how well funded their police programs are. |
Leoswaggs:The police in the US wear bullet-proof vests underneath their uniforms, he's not pot-bellied. |
I actually thought the bald-headed men that follow him everywhere he goes in Nigeria would also be in the US with him. I guess they're his slaves. |
megaik:Great question. Another question I'd like to add is what website or organisation promised that stipend and tuition-free education in the US for an international student? Many things may sound rosy until one gets under the heat. Lets hope OP is on the right path. |
