The mistake many girls/women make is that they think that what they don't have is better than what they have while many guys make the mistake of taking for granted what they already have... go through the comments, you will see another person that has confirmed this story... Infact apart from 2010 you will also see two other persons of 2013 and 2014 that shared there own story... All happened in Umuna Bende.... When I choose to share mine doesn't matter... By the way, when we got to camp that year there were another corps members from another state serving with us because their own camp was used to rehabilitate militants... Which state were they suppose to serve? (simple question if you truly served then)

Batch B 2013 Umuna bende LGA the camp I will always remember cos if vultures and wild sex ... Well the married woman caught in my time was on day 3 and on day 4 during morning devotion the camp coordinator announced it ,and that he had sent for her hubby, need I say we all felt bad for the lady can't rem her platoon number but jeez day 3 .Well after the incident all the other married ladies at least the once I had seen started hiding their rings and hooking up or is it platoon 9 coordinator who was caught with a female corper or the mountain load of condoms you would see on the parade ground every morning all I can say is shit went down ...

mine happened in 2010; yours happened in 2013 and guy that has commented, his own happened in 2014 all in Umana Bende.... Something must be terribly wrong somewhere

I think breaking camp rules was her offence, and like you rightly said, if her mother was her next of kin, she would be notified. So she didn't get unlucky cos she had sex, she got unlucky cos she had sex in camp and was caught, then her husband is her next of kin, so that capped it all.

Wetin come concern NYSC concern a legal activity, that two consenting adults are engaged in?

As long as it is legal i.e. someone was not forced, none of them is a minor, money did not change hands and it was not in public view; NYSC should had only made sure they do not litter the place after use, and if otherwise, make them to pickup after themselves.

In life, if you do not allow people to follow their intuitions, even if it means doing stupid things or failing or making mistakes; society in general will not advance, our gene pool will not improve, natural selection will not occur and our future will be bleak.

It is also ironic and hypocritical of NYSC, to openly distribute free condoms to both single and married coppers and at the same times, punish the latter for using them.

I think, she have a case against NYSC for causing her marital collapse....and NO! her adultery did not directly lead to her marital collapse. Where it not for the intrusion of NYSC, her marriage would not have collapsed, when and how it did. Though, it could be argued in court that, given her adulterous lifestyle, her marriage would had collapsed eventually. That premise is hypocritical and futuristic, and the court can not use the high likelihood of some futuristic events occurring, as as bases for deciding a case. More so, those futuristic events, also have a slight chance of not happening and should be discounted, as they are not concrete and tangible as evidence.

Although some of us had sympathy for her that period but it sti doesn't change the fact that she broke camp rules...
