Dear OP,

I have visited the USA 2016 on a visit/tourist VISA. I attempted to renew as it had expired, I used the drop box and was told to book an appointment.

I have now booked an appointment for JULY.

Any idea what to expect?

Guys... been in this journey for years. Awaiting my IELTS Result. Will be 34 In July and the pressure to get married is on. But getting married now could ruin my csr score and hamper my dream of being a PR holder.

Is there a way around this ?

Kindly advice.

I am considering taking the IELTS IDP Papaer based test vs the IELTS BC computer based test.

Should I stick to the traditional paper based test, but my worry is actually the listening in the computer based. Can one type simultaneously while listening

Kindly advice.

Social Media and feminism has left our women damaged.
Family / Re: Implications Of Going Abroad For Men by Smile4mee01: 3:25pm On Mar 16
This is deep.

It cuts across every ethnicity.
I think our ibos brothers should just evolve as times have changed. Stop laying so much importance to village, tradition and stuffs like that because ones your time here is up, you know not what becomes of them all.

Learn to enjoy your life and create life deep connections and friends regardless of where u are. That way you will enjoy old age more.

Growing old as a man is scary, wife and children that you laboured to cater to might just look away from you.

Prepare for it.

Social media will continue to damage our women.

It has been a curse for than a blessing.

Family / Is Social Media Damaging Us? by Smile4mee01: 9:02am On Mar 16
Social Media started out as a good rave of connecting people and selling ones thoughts and idea to the world.
However, in recent times it does appear it has become a curse more than a blessing.

Social media has had more negative impact in our women than men. It has left many of our women damaged. Just take a look around YouTube,Facebook, Instagram, twitter.... I am forced to think how did we get here?

A friend was telling me how his life has been better off after he deleted his social media accounts. All he has now is WhatsApp.

Even in my private life, I never date a lady heavy on social media, always online, snapping selfies (u know those ones that ensure u have a good look of her assets)

Has social media been a blessing to you or a curse? How much impact will this have on our future daughters.

MOD: Please make this front page, this is worth talking about than all those topic woman goes unclad in market, bobirisky stars on red carpet.

Family / Re: Why Are My Friends In Nigeria Always Asking Me For Money? by Smile4mee01: 8:09am On Mar 03
Brother... I used to be there too.

Calm down. Some ppl are not your friend. Some are with you but not for you. Some are in just there to take from you and not to give to you.Stop doing for ppl what they won't do for you.

You might not even need friends. You will still make heaven without them..keep your circle small.

Once I have helped a friend once or twice and he keeps persisting, I cut them off. No sympathy. Always put yourself first.

The rise of having female children is a concern to the normal african Man...

But again I think this was written in the Holy book a time would come when 7 women with be to 1 man.

I think after your first try was female you could have researched having a male cause this will always be a concern.

Family / Re: Why Do Men Think Women's Lives Cannot Go On Without Marriage? by Smile4mee01: 4:11pm On Feb 10
Hmnnn...

Here's the truth.

The woman was created for the Man. And so it's really hard for a woman to live outside this purpose.

Just as a Man was created by God to dominate the earth, it's really hard for a man who is not living within purpose i.e making money and all.

If you dont get married. Can u truly and sincerely still do without a Man at all?

Dont let feminism drive you down a path you will regret. It's what it is. Somethings cant change till the end of time
Family / Re: After Becoming Rich, What Next? by Smile4mee01: 3:43pm On Feb 10
Brother...

I would say after wealth, engage in activities that outlive you. Be involved in humanity.

Have you ever wondered, why bill gate is eradicating polio from Africa? There come an innate desire to affect the lives of generation unborn or after you.

When your time is up. It's not so much about how much money you made in this world but how many lives have been better because you came.

Family / Re: Advice For A Sister I Love So Much by Smile4mee01: 3:28pm On Feb 10
Life can be hard on ladies after 30...

Your sister still has a man willing to marry her. Some ladies in that age group have no man in sight. I see many of them in the corporate world.

Well, let her follow her intuition. It never fails.
Family / How Important Is It To Marry A Younger Lady As Wife ? by Smile4mee01: 3:13pm On Feb 10
I am 34 yrs younger and woukd love to start a family.

However, my big brothers and cousins have all been throwing in advice even when I dont ask. I guess they just watching out for me. They all subtly told me to marry a younger lady as wife. And they tell me the benefits i.e

1. Children: biologically women are at their best before 30. After then it's a decline in the quality of her eggs which might affect her ability to have healthy children.

2. Women age faster than men regardless of how much make up they try to use to cover this. In 15 yrs, if I marry a lady my age, she could look way older than I am and no more sexually appealing.

3. Women about your age kinda find it hard to give you the respect you need as they tend not to take you seriously.

And a few other reasons.

One even said dont marry a lady who is fat or have a tendency to be as you will not like what u see after she has a child.

I regard and respect these brothers. The closest one to me has had 2 failed marriages and he is happy to share some deep knowledge with me.

Please let me know your thoughts. My decision could as well make a lady somewhere sober.
Business / Re: Difference Between Mastercard, Verve And Visa? by Smile4mee01: 10:45am On Feb 07
Brother....

The kind of card I recommend will depend on the kind of lifestyle you live.

Mastercard are susceptible to online fraud. While verve card can rarely be used online.

Stick to verve, if u need to travel get a Mastercard.
