Have you ever wondered why people are quick to tell about how tough the USA is and slow to talk about those who have been successful because they went to america?

The last time I visisted. I met succesful nigerians, people whose annual income was in 6 digits Usd. I also met people who were struggling to get by.

Regardless of where you are strive to be succeasful.
God help us.

Hmnnn...

This is deep. You have said it all. It's the curse of being a Man. Only a few women can relate to this. It appears to me, once a man loses his economic value, he is forgotten in a hurry. I look around sometimes. Only a few old men left.

So to the Men. Love your wife, care for your children not at your own detriment though. Balance it all out, there is more to you than wife and kids.

God bless our hustle.

Would you recommend taking it again.? Do I stand a chance of being picked from the pool

Your CRS score will be low because of your listening score. You should aim to score a minimum of 8777 (LRWS).[/quote]

Good Morning

Just woke up to my IELTS score.
Your Test Result
Overall Band: 7.5
Listening: 7.5
Reading: 7.0
Writing: 7.5
Speaking: 7.5

Is this good enough to get PPR?
Don't know if I should be worried or take the test all over again ?

Hello everyone.

I am hoping to re locate to canada early 2018. Either as a student or PR. I am currently a banker in nigeria, 33 yrs , single , male, reasonably comfortable. I am not in a serious relationship but would love to be in one and hopefully get married soon. I am wondering if my decision to relocate would affect my prospects of being married soon. There is a female colleague of mine I have been thinking of, but don't want to commit to it then travel away. So i don't break anybody heart.

Please let me know your thought.

I must say, it's looking tougher by the day to get into canada.

Apologies if my question is off point. But I am just a little worried

I have been waiting for admission into university in canada for months now. I am thinking is it possible to get a Canada tourist visa, get in there and convert it to Study VISA. This is because it does take a long time to get visa approved from nigeria. I hear a decision on one's application is reached within days abroad. Why is Nigeria so different?

Its beginning to get at me. Is my Canada Study Dream over yet.

I applied for admission to University of Windsor since June 2017. i am still waiting on them for admission. i got a mail September is over and the next available class would be in January 2018. with the news i read about how long it takes to get your study permit granted. i fear. I had chosen the school because they offered a course that did not need GMAT.

While Canada remains my choice because of the sane conditions of settling there, I am closely considering Australia and USA. I have a USA Visit VISA, and i hear of a few schools who can covert your visit VISA to Study permit as long as some conditions are met. but we all know settling in USA after study is complicated. Is Australia a viable option? Can i go to Australia/USA and if my admission clicks then, can i apply for canada study permit from there?

Kindly advice

How come men never show off their generation like this?

Beautiful pix especially the first one

I think the question should be how many men live to see the 4th generation. It seem to me men are born , do eveythin for thier family, die. HAve you ever wondered why when kids become succesful, the mother is remembered first, regardless of what the father did.

Infact...
It's all good

Hello House.

Please i need advice. i really feel time is running out on January Admission for Masters in Canada. The University i applied to for over 2 months have not even reached my referees let alone give me admission. The nature of my Job leaves no time to prepare for GMT/GRE ,so i am looking at Masters In Finance , accounting or the like. Had a 2.1 in Undergrad. Mathematics. Working for 5 yrs now.

As time is running out. I m seeking Pre-masters programs maybe that would brighten my chances of admission, but what are the chances of been granted a study VISA for a prospective pre-masters student ? Hope the VO would not interpret it as an easy route to schooling/entering canada.

Please advice.

Thank you.

Been thinking deep if the pre-masters option is suitabe to getting me a canadian study VISA.

I have been seeking Masters admission in canada for a while now, but it appears its getting tougher. A few of the schools i have applied to have still not given me admission. its over 3 months now. My options though have been few because i dont think i am at my best to take GMAT/GRE now. so i am seeking advice on how best to get in to a Masters program in canada.

Nairaland / General / When Is The Best Time To Quit Your Job ? by Smile4mee01: 8:08am On May 29, 2016
Hi Nairalanders,

I am currently in need of counsel. I am a 32 yr old banker. Unmarried. Been working in the bank for over 6 yrs. I have been able to save a good amount. I have always desired to start a business of mine. I have a registered company with active accounts.

I have tried to start businesses on the side while working.  I have not been able to get it off the ground solely because my job gives me no time to make it happen.

An elderly man once advised me, if I ever want to start a business its best before u get married and the responsibilities of marriage run you down.

Do I quit banking and face business head long? Do I keep working, because of the fear of failure in business? Do I put my self together and go to Canada for my masters, then what next?

Ex bankers who moved on to bigger things, what instincts lead you to knowing the time was right to quit and follow your dream to build your business?

Bless U.
