The Safest and most peaceful state in Nigeria.
Peaceful coexistence is the desire of every living person; to feel that security and having that confidence that all is in the right position. We all wants to be far from peculiar and perpetual devourers, terrors and whatsoever that poses a destructive signs. We want definite protection of everything we cherish, ranging from our family to assets, our possessions and things we so much value.
Moreover, having this great desire to be safe and free from dangers is really good but how many people are able to maintain it,build it and exist with it. It never pays to ignite conflicts or insecurity, everyone is ought to seek peace everywhere. Nigeria had been a great country, like every other nations,we experience different ups and downs, mistakes and rights, good and bad, pains and gains, yet these things truly defines our possiblity to enhance both our actions, mentality and performance.
Collectively peace is been nurtured. It's a daily activity that needs the effort of every single person.

This state creates an avenue for the citizens to relate positively with the government. A place where everything exist fairly.
The state of good provision where many needs of the people are met.
A place of great cultural and traditional festivals. Where everyone's believe are respected.
A place where there is no stereotypical instinct or any form of phobia of any kind. Having a great educational standard and a proper standard of living.
This state is very safe to live, both the government and the Citizens try their best to protect each others interest. One thing I found out about this state is that, the people are obedient and live in harmony with each other despite their differences.
The busy state had been a peaceful place long since it's creation. Commenting on their peaceful coexistence is much that you have to see it yourself.

owukpa: Super Falcons player, Francisca Ordega, has lashed at the people of Benue State for not celebrating her enough.
Ordega said she was disappointed that after making Benue people proud for over ten years, they didn’t accord her the kind of honour they gave BBNaija ex-housemate, Kiddwaya on Friday.
Ordega said, “Hmmm Benue my people, have been making you guys proud for the past ten years till now and have never received this kind of home welcoming. Does that mean I am not love/love by my own people? Just curios and some people will be asking what you are giving back to the society or your state really? Or sit it because I am a woman. I see you all oo wow and mind you don’t come here and sit rubbish.”

Celebrities › One Thing I Noticed About The Laycon BB Naija 2020 Winner: Advise To The Youths by Snakedoctor1(op): 10:57pm On Oct 03, 2020*. Modified: 7:58am On Oct 04, 2020 |
Though I have seen just a little bit of this young man Laycon from his school days ( when he was introducing himself apparently for a rapping competition at the UNILAG, and the moderator kept doing as if he didn't undestant Laycon's introduction and putting him down, and his numerous outings, his music et al), there is one striking thing: HE BELIEVED IN HIMSELF!! That is despite his apparent deficiencies.
This is a big advise to youths out there. Do not allow people to give you the impression that you ain't got it. If you allow negetive people overwhelm you with their attitudes, that could be your greatest undoing for life.
Stay positive and wait for that day; it shall surely come. Love the haters but act like the god you are: keep your head up!
Peace ! |

Shehuroj: Hello house.
I defer my admission to speing resumption due to Covid-19 and I have recieved an updated I-20 with spring resumption date electronically (emailed). My question is, do I need to fill another DS-160 for since I have different resumption date on the former DS-160 i filled?
Also, US embassy normally accept only mailed (original copy sent by fedEx or DHL) to student, but my school said they cannot mail I-20 because of the Vovid-19 that the emailed one is the original copy and would suffice. Please what do you guys think I can do?
@Snakedoctor1 and others Thanks and do have a fabulous sunday. You do not need to fill a new DS-160. Just log in and update the old one accordingly. Then use the reference to update your interview appointment if you have previously scheduled one. For 1-20, you sure need a hard copy for your interview. Insist on this with your school. They will not refuse shipping it when you are the person paying for it. Best! |

ormorteey: From the current regulatory draft, it doesn’t appear you would need to leave the US since it’s not a new visa you are trying to get. You are largely getting an extension. They plan on having affected visa holders file a form i539, submit biometrics and supporting documents or a newly created form that’s simpler than that.
What they are trying to take away is the power of the DSO to grant an extension. The new regulation would only allow a DSO to recommend an extension then you file with USCIS, then a DHS officer checks if the visa holder has maintained appropriate progress towards completion of degree without violating and inadmissibility clause.
Here is a link to the regulatory draft: https://www.regulations.gov/document?D=DHS_FRDOC_0001-1933 Thanks |

TWoods: What is changing isn't the need to renew the entry visa every 2 years, it is the duration of status issued by CBP at the border that is changing. Previously you would get D/S (i-94) stamped on your passport. That meant you could stay in the US for however long your program of study was. The need to renew your visa after 2 years only applied if you leave the US at anytime after the expiration of the visa. If you chose to never leave the US, you could stay in the US for however long your program of study, transfer to another program and continue on for as long as you wish.
The intended change is that rather than stamping you in as D/S at the border, your I-94 will now include a definite expiry date 2 years from date of entry to the US. It means if you are in a 4-year study, you must leave the US before the expiration of your I-94 to renew your visa. That gives the US more control over anyone who comes into the US in F, M or J visa status, as your status would need to be examined every 2 years rather than never, which is currently the case. It doesn't really change much, as long as you remain in status, you should be able to renew your visa easily. This looks like gbege still. Which one be enter Naija after every two years; with the way visa renewal is here. Na wa oh |

bayocanny: Bros, you can still enrol into PhD programs.
For instance, If your programs length is 4years or 10years. You will have to renew your visa every Two (2) years. Was that not the process before now. But the message says programs that exceed two yeas. PhD excess 2 years. What a confusion ! |

Friedpotato: Hello,
You are receiving this email because you requested a student visa interview through our EmergencyLagosNIV inbox during a time which the U.S. Consulate General in Lagos was closed to student visa operations. We have not yet resumed full student visa operations. However, very soon we will publicly release an extremely limited number of student visa interviews, which include the visa classes F, M, J and their derivatives.
These appointments will be on a first-come, first-served basis and are not transferrable. Any attempt to reserve blocks of interviews will be cancelled and the applicant will be blocked from applying in the future. The dates of these interviews are below:
16 October at 7:00 A.M.
23 October at 7:00 A.M.
30 October at 7:00 A.M.
6 November at 7:00 A.M.
13 November at 7:00 A.M.
20 November at 7:00 A.M.
We will be releasing these appointment slots at 9:00 A.M., West African Time on Monday, September 28. At this time, you will be able to go online and schedule an appointment for the dates listed above.
Prior to this date, please complete the following:
Confirm that you have the original I-20 or DS-2019 that was mailed (not emailed) to you by the university or academic institution. An emailed copy will not suffice. Even if the program start date listed on your form has passed, we will still need the original document. If you do not have this document, you visa will be refused. Pay the SEVIS fee. If your SEVIS fee is not paid and/or you cannot be located in the SEVIS system, you visa will be refused. If your program start date listed on your form has already passed, you will need to contact your learning institution to update your start date in SEVIS. If the SEVIS system shows that your program start date has passed, you will be refused. Fill out the DS-160, choose the appropriate visa class and pay the visa application fee.
Please note that these interviews are extremely limited in number, so you will not be rescheduled for any reason. If you can get an appointment, be prepared to present on that date and time with all your paperwork in order.
Additionally, please note that all queries to this inbox seeking clarification or additional information will be deleted and ignored.
Respectfully,
U.S. Consulate General, Lagos, Non-Immigrant Visa Unit I already have an interview date since June. Does this invalidate my earlier scheduled date? |

I have tried a comparism of the data from service providers. The outcome is that glo ranked the worst. Though apparently cheaper, their tech is quite tacky, their data is unduly slow and runs out unexpectedly. Worst still, the codes for data balance hardly works and the billing system generally is shrouded in a weird secrecy. In this kind of country, one wonders if the regulatory bodies and consumer protection ever works. And then, the consumers do not even complain. Everyone seems to be down with the warped system.
