Christianity EtcRe: Chris Okotie: Social Distancing In Church Is Like Blasphemous Infidelity by Snakedoctor1: 3:57am On Jun 02, 2020
BeautifulWoman:
This is pure travesty. Christianity is of faith and such guidelines are against the tenants of our Christian faith.

I was brought up in a godly home where my parents thought us the applications of Faith. If we believe Christ is above sickness, why then are we distancing right in his church.
why then did the churches not resist lockdown the world over ? If lockdown was observed by the church, why not a gradual but continuing precautionary steps towards a total release? Let's not continue making mockery of the body of Christ. That's why these atheists seem to be gaining upper hands in their useless heretic statements against the church. God is not an author of confusion.

HealthRe: COVID-19: How Terrorists, Gang Members Around The World Responded To Coronavirus by Snakedoctor1: 8:26am On May 30, 2020
Ishilove:
When Jakumo asked this question below, I made a joke about Dr Iguedo Goko Cleansers being the answer.

Naptu2 provided the answer. He said that the difference between Nigeria and Brazil with regards to the Covid 19 pandemic is that the Brazilian Government provided one of the worst responses to the crisis, while the Nigerian Government provided one of the best. In Latin America, Latino giants Brazil and Mexico have both recorded their highest daily coronavirus death tolls to date. President Bolsonaro of Brazil chose to play the ostrich when the pandemic made land fall within the country's borders, and even when the death rates started soaring, he shrugged it off as a 'little flu' and repeatedly downplayed the threat of the corona virus. The Mexican Government on their part have also been accused of failing to take the crisis seriously an their lack of proactive measures saw them enforcing a national lockdown after the pandemic had swept through the country.

In the midst of the fight against the pandemic, a shadowy, insidious section of the Mexican and Brazilian populace took it upon themselves to enforce the national lockdown. This article written earlier in the month details how terrorists and drug lords led the fight against Covid 19 in Mexico. We live in very strange times.

https://nypost.com/2020/05/06/how-terrorist-groups-and-gangs-are-responding-to-coronavirus/

In other sections of the world terrorist organizations like ISIS, the Taliban and Al Qaeda contributed their own quota in their territories, with the Taliban In Afghanistan putting out videos of disinfection and photos of its fighters handing out face masks and soap. The group also conducted door-to-door temperature checks and distributed hand sanitizers, even bragging about setting up public health information teams and even quarantine centers.

Public health now comes before fighting, it seems.
In Nigeria , if its a disease that also affects them (the big men), they will be very proactive. Same way police will hunt down anyone that touches the big men or their people.

Most schools are on break now, and you don't get paid when you're not working.

But when we transitioned online, we kept on working (online), and we got paid. As long as you are able to perform your duties, nothing stops the stipend. I do know that some people that work in the library or bookstore (mostly undergrad) lost their job though. But I haven't heard of a Graduate Assistant with such experience.
God will help everyone. I am due to resume this Fall, but things still look so uncertain. Just paid for I-20 and the courier said school ain't ready.
Deferred once and they said that was final with the funding. I don't know what becomes of us if they are not resuming in Fall.
EducationOnline Classes And Their Challenges by Snakedoctor1(op): 11:22am On May 14, 2020
It is a country where prayer is always needed for a meaningful success otherwise, every single thing forms the forces that constitute all sort of clogs.
This morning I was deep on thoughts about how I would clear backlog off my kids's assignments. I had enrolled them in online classes where the watch video tutorials and then do some assignmmet. Despite the money we pay monthly, this thing has never been seamless, not because the tutors are not deviverinh bit electricity and Internet have become so much obstacles.
At times, when you put on the gen to power computers for the kids, the internet will not be able to do jack. And the first question now will be "what network" - baseless mantra! I have Tris all the networks and when I subscribed to the bigger broadband names, they charges are killing. What in the Nam of a country is this?
The worst thing is that almost every stakeholder apart from being so inept and avaricious, behaves like he is under a kind of spell. I would watch an AEDC official go to the transfoemer that supplies us light every now and then to fix something like a fuse whenever the light is gone. And the light will normally go off with a laud spark of fire at the transformer. The happens too often maybe after 2 days , they would come in their van and fix that same thing. Are we talking of he generator notice that won't even let them listen to the lectures.
What in Pete's name is this kind of country? That chip that the come to fix, is their no permanent or better one that could make the light more steady . how did the west conquer electricity centuries back and also achieved stray internet?
I have still wondered what is really wrong in this country?

There may be three options for incoming students

- Online classes may be necessary
- Student visas may be obtained within short notice if embassy opens close to fall resumption and many students won't get the chance to secure interview date in time to resume in the fall.
- Admission deferral

Let's see how everything unfolds smiley

HealthThe Prolonged Use Of Nose Mask Could Collapse Your Nose by Snakedoctor1(op): 1:34pm On May 12, 2020
Take time to draw up your nose after a prolonged use, otherwise , it could be on the way to collapsing without you realising it.
The other races with pointed noses may not bother about this much, after all , to them that body part may not really be that significant aesthetically. But we consider a pointed brand of the nose as a constituent of beauty. So, ladies especially, kindly take note.
Get "ori" shea butter and use it to draw up your nose after a prolonged use of the nose mask.

First of all, that doesn't look like it happened in Abia State. The home in the video looks like a building design for houses either in the US/UK/Canada.

The man himself is the one holding the phone to record what is going on, perhaps to use as evidence showing that he did not raise a hand on his wife should cops/courts get involved.

He is deliberately trying to piss her off, there is even a grown-up fat boy (probably their son) laughing at the whole drama.
The only person who seems really angry and agitated there, is the woman.

Sassysure, abeg come interpret wetin dem dey yan so people can get a better picture. grin

HealthBoy's Head Injury Recorded As Covid-19 In Hospital by Snakedoctor1(op):
Over the weekend, Friday to be precise.

My neighbor's son sustained a head injury while playing with his fellow kids and was rushed to the general hospital in my area here.

The little boy wasn't sick o.
Just a head injury that happened in my presence while we were outside discussing.

On Sunday, I went to check on the boy to see how he was doing, he was already playing with other kids though his head is still bandaged.

I started talking with his mom and she told me what now seems to be the new trend as regards Covid-19 in Nigeria.

She showed me the receipt issued to her by the hospital.
It was marked Covid-19, case 353.

I was surprised to see that.

She said when she saw the receipt, she asked the nurse what was the meaning of that?
That her son isn't a Covid-19 patient.

The nurse told her not to worry, that it means nothing.
That she was only doing what was required of her.
So she shouldn't worry.

According to the woman, she was still worried seeing that on her receipt but the nurse further reassured her and told her that if she doesn't do that, she could be issued a query. Wow!

What this means is that, according the receipt, the boy is case 353 treated and discharged.

Can you imagine that?!

That is possibly the new trend now at government hospitals.

Once you're sick and visits a government hospital, you're a Covid-19 patient.

If she hadn't shown me that receipt, I wouldn't have believed what she told me yesterday.

And you keep wondering why we can't see common pictures of patients in the isolation centers. Common pictures o.

All we see everyday are numbers upon numbers.

Let me leave it here for now.

Located in Kwande Local Government area is the Ikyogen hills.

The hills environment maintains the lush green vegetation that makes it a favourite spot for animal grazing. The area is often called Ikyogen Cattle Ranch.

This place provides a good blend of adventure and sightseeing. Tourists can visit the hills at any time of the year.

The Ikoyogen cattle ranch was developed for cattle grazing on the highlands and modeled after the Obudu Cattle Ranch in Cross River State.

The Ranch is located in Kwande Local Government area, about 35 kilometer East of Adikpo Town.

The area is endowed with national beauty which includes hills, a unique water fall, evergreen vegetable orchards and a temperate weather.

HealthI Think I Bought Adulterated Aloe Vers Gel by Snakedoctor1(op): 6:21am On Apr 25, 2020
I bought a can of Aloe Vara gel (main one, not flaviured) which I am suspecting might have been adulterated or passed off.
The gel's usual slightly bitter taste is not there as the one I bought is kind of bland and quite watery like a properly seived water melon juice. The texture also, the main aloe gel has some fiber showing slightly the remnants of the fruits and vegs content, but this one I bought is like syrup. The expiry date is 2022 and the seal was quite intact. I have been using this product for several years and I know the magical healing effect on me the moment I take it, but this one is just there.

I bought this product from the supermarket due to the lockdown that wouldn't make it easy for me to go to FOREVER Office. They usually don't have branches.
I posted this, first to serve as eye opener to Nigerians using this product and secondly, for police and/or NAFDAC and of course Forever Living owners of the product to look for the people committing this crime.

Are you kidding me? Pls you have an android phone or better still, Iphone? OK, go to Youtube and type "early life of Dangote". If I'm correct, some of his interviews are still on YouTube.
Before Dangote got that start off capital you are citing in error, he said he was buying goods from one town and reselling in another as a mere boy with some paltry sum.
What the Africa's richest man and of course the richest Blackman on earth is teaching us here is 'passion' as a catalyst to great achievement.
That petty stuff he did positioned him for the big thrust when the money came. Those things he traded, he now manufactures.
Please learn if you can.
And who says education is bad. Those early dream do not stop education. This thinking is what has slowed the development of Africa. A 30 year old man will still be in second year for a course he will still put in another 4 to 5 years plus Nysc chiefly because thats where parent want him to be.
