Nigerian airports the only airports in the world where begging is now a culture. It's gets really embarrassing. Everybody from immigration and passport control, customs, baggage staff and others at luggage check points all asking anything for the boys every single time. Even those baggage handlers at the tarmac when you go to identify your luggage for local flights before entering the plane, after showing them your luggage the next thing bros I can send it to the front of the luggage carousel so you don't wait too long for your luggage once you land at the arrivals area, just find me small thing. Nobody does anything for free over there. You even have to give them tips for performing their jobs. I tire for this country. We have a very long way to go.

3. If you are the type who don't fancy working for others, it's much more easier to own a business in Nigeria than in Canada/US. Western countries were set up for the 99% populace to work for 1% elites. Their education systems were designed to produce workforce for the rat race. Not to create employers of labour.

4. It's stupidity to resign from a high-paying job in Nigeria in a bid to relocate to Canada/US. Your eyes will get clear up when you start facing the hard realities in Canada. Those who had made this mistake in the past are ashamed to come on social media to talk about it. The ones talking on Twitter are 'freshers' who just arrived.

5. If you want to secure 2nd passport for your kids, you don't necessarily need to immigrate to achieve this. There are other ways, one method is overseas child birth.

6. You're 5x more likely to be shot and rubbed in New York than in Lagos. Poor neighborhoods all over the world has more crime rates. The thing is, when you finally made it in Nigeria,you can move to high brow areas with lesser crime.

7. Nigerians are spending up to 8millions ($21k) and above to immigrate to Canada/US whereas an average canadian or American citizen can't boast of $10k in their bank A/C's. They live pay check to pay check.

8. Some Nigerians claims that they ain't relocating because of the money but because of good infrastructure, good health care system, value for their money etc. That's a lie! 98% of Nigerians who're eager to travel out are relocating because of economic reasons. There are good infrastructure, good health care system and value for money in countries like Kuwait, Russia, Brazil, South Korea, Chile etc but Nigerians ain't trooping there, indicating that their preference for Canada/US is purely based on economic reasons.

9. It's cheaper to live in Nigeria. Canada/US promises higher minimum wage but the system will still take it away from you. It's like giving you with one hand and taking from you with another. $2k (N760k) will pay for your one year rent of 2 bedrooms apartment in a good location in Nigeria but same amount will only fetch you one month rent of a match box apartment in Canada/US.

10. This is not to stop you from traveling out but to inform you on the true realities. Economic immigration should be left for lower or working class who're struggling or to young lads who wants to school abroad and thereafter further their career overseas. Not to deceive Nigerians already earning good in corporate offices in Nigeria to resign and relocate where they will be employed as security guards or to deceive business owners who's businesses are thriving in Nigeria to close down business and relocate. Don't let them deceive you with the hype. Money don't grow on trees anywhere in the world.

In America you have the good and bad as in every country, but there are laws that governs and checkmate people lives - the authorities. If one commit an offence they will be arrested and charge to a Court of law, later they will get appropriate jail time according to their offence - no bribing, maneuvers or bending the law, why? The institutions there are strong and fit-for-purpose. While in Nigeria and other developing countries one can easily bend laws to suit them.

There are institutions saddled with the responsibility of holding Office holders accountable and responsible for their actions. Besides they are well paid and well taken care off. A US police
Officer earns more than a commissioner of police of a state. It tells you more, and more importantly corruption is seriously frown upon in societies.

Former south Korean president is currently serving 23 years jail time for abuse of power and gross misconduct. Unthinkable in a developing countries particularly Nigeria. Why? Very weak institutions.

I can go on and on but I think you should understand where I'm coming from.

You’re still not getting my point. No offense please but It seem like you don’t know the importance of strong government institutions in the lives of the citizens and the impact in the society. Nigeria as a country have a weak government institutions.

Nigeria’s institutions are not able to protect live and property, laws and regulations are not enforced properly, the government is not being able to offer social support as there’s no access to a good level of medical care and mental health support. Nigeria’s institutions are weak because their institutions have failed to build infrastructures stable for development. Yet you want citizens to be law and abiding and also to contribute their quota in a fail system.


Let me remind you that be it white or black all humans have criminal tendencies. According to psychologist. I guess you don’t know that, the presence of strong government institutions plays an important role in shaping the behavior of the citizens. Strong government institutions guide economic, shape how budgets are spent, and regulate the justice system. When institutions are weak and corrupt, resources are wasted, services aren’t delivered, and people (especially the poor) do not receive the required protection(Life has no value in Nigeria people die like chicken in the hands of bandits, kidnappers etc) .

Having said that, the fact still remain that it’s only those that are elected as leaders that can strengthen the government institutions to bring positive changes in the society and this changes will shape the behavior of the citizens, better their lives and also give them an enabling environment to contribute their quotas as citizens.

Let me remind you again, China passed into law death penalty for any public office holder find guilty of corruption or financial bribery. You think Chinese aren’t corrupt ? Your answer is as good as mine, the strong institutions has shaped Chinese behavior and that of their society. Why has Nigerian elected leaders refuse to pass this into law ? Because they know a strong government institutions will stop them from looting and oppressing citizens.

Here in Nigeria people get away with corrupt or wicked act because the system is weak. Are you surprise that majority of Nigerians that travel abroad try not to beat the system, few who try to play smart pay the price heavily because there are strong institutions on ground to deal with them.

With all said above, if you still think the input of a common man in Nigeria will make a difference in the absence of strong government institutions that can deliver justice and equity for all.

Then you can as well believe that someday a pig will fly.

The question is how can a common man build or make a country great, when those that are elected Into power to make positive decision to better the life of the masses has refused to do so. Government policies have a great impact in citizens lives

Nigerians have been clamoring for restructuring, but those who can make it happen has refused to do the needful. How does the input of the common man count in a corrupt failed country ? So much to talk about but let me stop here.

Why Estonia, why not Poland or czech this two country have job with least unemployment rate, and u don't need IELTS to apply, only that Czech visa take long time like 2months but Poland within 2weeks to one month, Poland is better for him because they have growing economy with job scattered every where but salary is less when compared to Estonia, tuition fee is equally less in Poland and Czech, anyone u choose u can use 3m to leave Nigeria via study route to some eu country.

Now that we have over borrowed and the likelihood of repayment from oil is now slimmer and our creditors are no longer ready to grant us more loans we are resorting to stealing people's money that are dormant in the banks to pay civil servants salaries instead of looking for the owners of the deposits and dividends
