Standing5: Crazy !This scandal happened in the armateur league and the teams have been suspended for 4 years while the players have been banned for life. Btw,there were reports of match fixing in the italian league some time ago and recently in the brazilian league. I am definitely sure you still watch atleast one of those leagues. |
kliq: Welcome development,I really hope d money is used effectively for its motive...oda than d TV rights/televising,d league still got a long way to go regards match fixin, standard and maintainace of d pitch, poor officiating by refs, payment of players and coaches etc....hp it gets better frm dis pointMatch fixing is a thing of the past. The pitches have already improved, infact NPFL boasts of some of the best pitches in african club football. The referring has gotten better, though there is room for improvement. The players welfare is where i think we are still lagging behind,as quite a number of clubs tend to owe their players too much for too long. |
2goodbobo: Naija League wey before match start the home team don already know wetin d score go be. Between I can bet with my breakfast that corruption will skew the essence of the deal.shut up. You don't know about the league neither do you watch it. Stop making ignorant statements. |
Going by the comments here,it's obvious many people don't even watch the league or know about the huge progress the league has made since the advent of the LMCs. Is this not the same league that gave us the bulk of our AFCON winning team.? |
hotwax: amen. Gud thing will never come to your state bcuz of hatred and bigot mentality. I challenge you to come and see lagos atlantic city. The african golden city. This is another invention of APC. APC knows how important foreign investors are. You r from the village. You won't know dis simple logic.lagos "atlantic city".? The same lagos that is currently listed among the world's most naturally endangered cities? I laugh at your stupiddity. You and your APC moronns are suited for each other. If the creation of a "french village" is what APC termed as devt, then sorry, my state is not interested. APC can keep their elephant and needless projects to the SW. |
Lol. Na wa o. Anyway who cares? As long as the locals are okay with this brand of "development" then i am fine. I will only have a problem if APC brings this nonsense to my state. |
bin gbagbo: shame on nigayriaMoronn. The NFF did the honourable thing by passing them through the MRI test themselves before taking them to FIFA, unlike many useless african countries like gayna that go and disgrace themselves at FIFA'S MRI testing camp. |
Lol at people judging the strength of chelsea on a first game and against a championship team who is probably out to prove a point and would be a thorn in the flesh of top 4 teams. Coupled with the fact that mourinho rested key players and asked the team not to over-exert themselves in the second half so as to be fresh for both the aston-villa and MANU game. I can't wait for the MANU match. The uselessness of that MANU team and the tactical naievity of moyes will be laid bare. |
That kid should be snapped by the airforce institute of technology. The boy could be one of those prodigiously talented individuals that just need little polishing. I wonder why AFIT has not yet unveiled an indigenous-manufactured helicopter gunship, despite the huge pool of aeronautic- inclined geeks in the country. |
ZUBY77: Any country that gives 24 hour electricity is better than you.Niger-republic and cameroun don't have 24 hr electricity, and both countries are shitt-holes when compared to Nigeria. Southafrica, botswana and a few North african countries are the only countries with 24hr electricity in africa. |
The quality of that stadium is better than that of most african countries except maybe southafrica. |
micdmic: y so much hatred for islam, understand ur religion and let ISLAM be for muslims...Your muslim nations are doing far much worse evil to christian minorities. So nobody will listen to any cry of "muslim minority persecution". |
RoyPCain: @jackbauerballs: ethiopia is majority muslim, except the muslims refused to enter secutity organizations. if they were in the military, none of these oppression and nonsense will happen.Ethiopia is majorly muslim? Lol. You must be high on crack. |
Ethiopia is an orthodox christian state. If muslims don't like it,they can leave. |
yomanovic: I wanted to call you 'ode' but I changed my mind. Who are the people buying if not our politicians?pls tell me,did anybody prevent you from buying any power plant? |
nollywood20: "The Nigerian Army is in a shocking state," said the source, "in reality there is no way they are capable of forward operations in Mali - their role is more likely to be limited to manning checkpoints and loading trucks. This report was written by a mischevious ghanian, afua hirsch. It has already been debunked. |
And why da phuck should they care. Just stay in ur Bongo Bongo land . How hard is that
The whole of Africa is referred to as "bongo bongo" land, you brainless ghanian. |
The UK makes 5 times more in visa fees from Nigeria than the so-called "aids" they send to Nigeria. We are not even talking about the huge amount of money they make from Nigerians in Education, tourism and health. Smh. |
The comments on that guardian page are hilarious. Wow. Nigerians in britain have suffered. |
philips70:But these countries don't want you? They are categorically asking you to stay in your country, yet you want to go and shop there. Keep on shopping. |
HNosegbe: I have said it before and I'll say it again, the policy is nothing but a political ploy by the Conservative government to boost support ahead of the UK's general elections in 2015. It makes absolutely ZERO economic sense.why not shop in Nigeria and holiday in tinapa? Must you go out of the country before you can do anything reasonable.? The scale of capital flight from Nigeria to these countries is terrifying. |
Stay in your country. Is that too much to ask? |
SimonAndal:why should the cameramen fall when he is not praying or connected to the holyspirit? You think the holyspirit just fall upon anybody? Even the members of the congregation that are not concentrating, hardly feel the presence of the holyspirit, let alone the cameraman that is just there to do a job. |
Botswana is a very small place with very little population which probably accounts for the peace and steady development it has enjoyed. The place is just a holiday resort, the market is not significant. So i wonder what people are looking for there. |
I am sure they are expecting their next shipment of military aid from america worth billions of dollars. |
Why do people want to "bury" PDP? I thought we were tired of being a one-party state. Do we want to trade one slave master for another? Smh. 2015 will be a very interesting year. |
---In addition to No1 under technology, i'd like to remind us of the vulnerability of supposedly stealth warplanes e.gf-22, b-2 spirit to radar detection when covered from elevation angle of high flying AEWACS aircrafts, not to talk of radar at 84km altitude angle of elevation
In other words, american stealth planes like the F-177A, and B-2 spirit bomber can be detected when they enter the Nigerian air-space. |
I hope we are getting something in return, because it seems we've no friends in africa. So we might as well get "paid" for our efforts instead of hiding under a delusion of "african brotherhood". |
zenatta: Poor, poor, Nigeria; its citizens at loggerheads with one another and it's peoples, mutilated mercilessly outside it's shores.lol |
