kingphilip: Lookman switch I'm not sure if it is completed yet.
Maybe they wanted to take a gamble because there's no news anywhere that the switch is completed.
If it was completed, our resident Southgate would have duly informed us after his last closed door meeting with Lookman after the Manchester game. Who do we really blame? Lookman, NFF, Southgate, Rohr or Eguavoen? It seems NFF have not played their part in Lookman's case or the player is reluctant due to pressure from England |

I feel Eguavoen selected his team based on the physical style of African football and this may be the reason for the ommision of the foreign borns. He may have plans for them after AFCON. My fear now is how people like Akpoguma, Dessers and Ebuehi would take this? NFF has to explain to them so they don't get discouraged |

PurpleHouse: Is Shehu the only Moslem we have in Nigeria who plays football? So they couldn't see another northern Moslem to replace him with?
They had to waste that spot.
Make we mistake qualify for world cup make I see Shehu there. I will arrange to steal his phone and release Pinnick's nude myself— make we for rest.
What the hell Eguavoen mentioned something like players who can play multiple roles having a place in his team. That's where Shehu fits in. He can play as both RWB and Defensive midfielder. Rohr also invited him because of same reason |

Algeria are beatable and same with Senegal... all Austin need to do..is to develop a play philosophy and field in the right players without sentiments or favouritism I just hope VicMo, Lookman, Ejaria, Nwakali and Amoo will all be on the plane to Cameroon. I'm eager to see the five of them dorn for Nigeria. These are the 5 new faces I want to see. |

humility33: Oh so painful for Onauchu
But of truth I am having the feeling Dessers will be our hit upfront come afcon if coach Austin call him up. Taiwo, Dennis and Dessers should make the list ahead of Nacho
With Bassey/Awaziem and Balogun at the CB role and Ndidi and Onyeka and we have Aribo play the AM and later come off for Iwobi we're covered This may be Dessers, Dennis and Awoniyi's moments to shine and play themselves into the world cup team |

AndSunGorilla: BVV as our NPFL subject matter expert how has Eguavoen fared locally. What has been his playing philosophy and style? I am aware he has had a couple of stints with some NPFL teams, so how did he perform? For me, in my opinion, it seems Eguavoen is just a journeyman looking for chop money. My reason is that after he was fired as SE coach, he later took on the role of U23 coach and he failed in that. I mean why would any CEO worth his salt agree to be reappointed to a lower role in the same org. I also have that feeling about Eguavoen's qualities but on a second thought, that's the reason why he has so many assistants. Remember that he has worked with Siasia before in the SE and they did well. I think his presence will bring sanity and discipline to the national team with all these issues of sex party arising and arguments in the dressing room. His facial look will control the team. |
