Lady temi: Every three months is the recommendation.Yes. But how often do YOU change your toothbrush? For me 4-6months |
daroz: I cast my vote for Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah and Pastor Tunde Bakare in their demosthenic vitriol against spiritual megalomaniacs whose modus vivendi has become increasingly byzantine and repulsively narcissistic. We must all begin to deprecate this razzmatazz and Nestorian braggadocio in the "HOUSE OF GOD",because when there is no difference between the values of a Pastor and a typical Nigerian Politician, then it's truly a bolekaja ambience.....To begin with, I wish to state that th word holekaja above is not an English word. It is a Yoruba word meaning come let's fight it out. The word was introduced into Nigeria political lingua about eight yeats ago. My view on pastors owning pvt jjet is that if the church deem it expedient that the officials and members need to travel by jet, let the church can purchase if they have the means. But it should in the name of the church, labelled with the church name, and other officials have access to it. The situation in which it is the private property of the leader of the church is a show of greed, material lustfulness and quite unchristianly. The church members have demonstrated syncophancy if they approve this. Obahiagbon saying there is no difference between that pastor and a typical Nigerian politician captures it aptly. |
Maybe due to excessive growth hormone |
Nigeria came last of 80 countries researched. A new study by the Economist Intelligence Unit, EIU, has ranked Nigeria as the worst place for a baby born in 2013. The EIU, a sister company of The Economist, ranked Nigeria 80th out of the 80 countries considered for the study with a score of 4.74 out of 10, just below Kenya which scored 4.91. South Africa, at 53rd position, was the best placed African country with a score of 5.89. Four North African nations (Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia, and Morocco) as well as oil rich Angola were regarded as better places to bear children ahead of Nigeria. The study attempts to measure what will provide the best environment for the healthiest, safest, and most prosperous life in the coming years. The quality-of-life index used in the survey was measured around key areas like crime, trust in public institutions, health of family life and government policies. It also examined how happy citizens say they are as well other variables such as a forecast of income per head. The study used the EIU's 2030 economic forecasts, the year when children born in 2013 are expected to attain adulthood. Swiss is best European countries dominate the top ten with Switzerland scoring 8.22 to lead the pack, ahead of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and The Netherlands. "Surveys show that, even in rich countries, people with higher incomes are more satisfied with life than those with lower incomes," says Laza Kekic, Director, EIU's Country Forecasting Services. "However, over several decades there has been only a very modest upward trend in average life satisfaction scores in developed nations, whereas average income has grown substantially," the director added. The United States, which came out tops at the EIU's inaugural survey in 1988, was tied at the 16th position with Germany, scoring 7.38. Large European Economies like France and Britain as well as the BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China) did not fare particularly well in the ranking, a fact attributed to the global economic crisis. The issue is what arê going to do about it? What are individual leaders thinking? How do the masses react to a gov. who uses public funds to buy private jet? It's up to us. |
truckimportexpo: for sale419!!! |
josab123: Hi Investors,I smell 419 |
I thought their leader Christ said that it was easier for a camel to pass through the ey of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. |
In view of the ongoing process of constitutional amendment, Nairalanders, what suggestions do you have? Mine are : 1- decentralize facilities like power generation and distribution, so states may provide or contract or privates as they wish. Same with Landline phones 2- only one legislative house, the senate |
The problem with Nigeria is corruption , bad leadership and a lack of morals and ethics. These problemsfindtheir outlet in religious fanaticism and tribalism. Many states have a homogenous language and religion eg Sw And E states but how much progress have they made? |
I think water will work as well as urine |

Babies having babies!! |
samkoro: Heaven and hell exist for real. This no joke. Besides faith,Scientific theories supports it.Negative and positive forces exist side by side for a balance. Every action that is not in accordance with the laws of the ruler of the universe must be balanced out through a system(of punishment) so that the universe(both spiritual and physical) will maintain its balance and regeneration. The ideas of life after death arise out of man's grandiosity and failure to accept the truth that he is fundamentally not different from the animals around him. Coupled. With ignorance regarding experiences like dreams, grieving phenomenology and hallucinations as well as an elaborate superstitious belief system that favored a group of society's members, heaven and hell were created. |
Mintayo: Whether you believe or not, that is our problem, heaven is real and hell is real just as the earth is real-what you believe can not change that, these things are already in place b4 you were born!Did you know the truth about who wrote the books of the bible, the purpose, when and the masterminds behind the great deception? Go check it out for yourself, to emancipate yourself from mental slavery. |
Red-Light:Agreed!! Fabricated lies as weapons of mind control, brainwashing and intimidation. Our fate after death is no different from the animals and plants around us. That is the plain truth! |
Okija_juju: In My humble opinion... No single man can rule Nigeria.. Thats why we need a more balanced form of government..Correct !! |
I suggest Adams Oshomoile, gov of Edo State, Ribadu, my humble self. |
Ninilowo: It was the joint decision taken in their GOVERNORS' FORUM nah. Very soon all others 'll follow. If the jet was state owned, no worries. |
blink182: I totally support the man getting himself a private jet. He's a hard worker and I believe in the principle of workshop, yes where you de work na there you de chop. This kind of immoral thinking is why there is no regular electricity, no good roads no jobs and a high crime rate in the country. Oh boy you need serious moral and ethical education and rehabilitation!! |
Is the jet an official state owned or a privately owned? |
ROSSIKE: I wonder in which dream you saw ''majority of Nigerians'' spending less than 150 Naira per day.Wonder if you've ever visited Nigeria snce you went overseas. Majority of Nigerians cannot afford more than 150Nara a day!! True!! |
nwabobo: Why is it that only 3 ministries seem to have been above board viz;You tribalist!! Shut up!! |
#Afanna:No, the credit goes to the state governor. The airport is owned by Edo state |
pastormustwacc: This has been brought to my concern because i just found out that so many categories of people are planning to use this "joker" at the last minute. It may work, but its a risky strategy as a lot of people may experience sudden death, and no time to repent. Deliberately doing evil with intention to cheat at the last minute may not be tolerated by God. You need to understand the context that the bad life was lived ignorance, and that the opportunity came only at the last minute. Repentance must be seen as sincere too. God forgives everyone however but those using this strategy are taking a risk. |
safarigirl: On the plus side, I think he makes a fairly pretty ladySupported. Cute, no wrinkles. Even beats his girlfriend. Laughs out loud! |
manny4life: So many bad belle angry people on this threadWhat's there to dance for by the way? Is it lack of jobs, the poverty or lack of electricity, insecurity or what? |
a1solution: This world will never come to an end as some believe. It will progress to a stage where human would discover how to stay healthy and young forever and death would be no more , deformed or amputated human parts would be replace by doctors with a better one. If you believe me click the like button.[quote author=a1solution]This world will never come to an end as some believe. It will progress to a stage where human would discover how to stay he Nothing remains for ever. The earth will come to an end but that would be 3 billion years time when the sun evolves to a red giant and runs out of hydrogen. It would expand to engulf the planets mercury. venus and earth. Three billion yrs is good time to achieve our dreams. Thank God for his mercies |
Omo Alata: It'll take you 40 years to get thereNo, it takes light travelling at 186, 0000 miles per second 40 years to get there. We are looking at 240 trillion miles away, my friend. We cannot get there at all using current technology. |
Super1759: SPIRITUALLY....I can say heaven is hereThis is a big jewel box no doubt, but it is secured by natural forces. 40 light years is 240 trillion miles away. It's surface temperature is 3900 degrees, enough to melt steel to gas. This is a no reach dead planet, a glamorous jewel to behold only. Amazing. |
kawkab: None of us here is addressing the main issues;Well done. A good write up. Next article, solutions!! |
How is the police better than the vigilante group of Aluu. Shame. They should be sued for negligence and dangerous behaviour and murder. An organisation of lawyers should be formed to help victims of police brutality seek justice in court. I'm sure they would make huge profits from the police and govt departments. |
