Mommies please I want to start formula and I don't trust caregiver to correctly measure food for baby. Especially since they feed him with cup and spoon.

Is it possible for me to mix the bottles of formula down? With the fridge I described in earlier post I can then store the milk either hot (fridge also had warming function) or cold (then they heat in warm water like they're doing with breast milk now)

I wouldn't advise mixing the formula down. Why not measure out the correct scoops in d bottles then you show the caregiver the mark to make up to. After mixing she can now feed with cup and spoon

Bonds are fairly similar to tbills just that with bonds, the minimum term to invest is longer (I think minimum 2 years) and the interest rate is fixed for the entire duration. Interest is paid twice a year or at the expiration of the agreed term (depending on your choice).

It's best you compare the interest rate/yield on your investment for both tbills and government bonds and then decide which is best for you.

Chloramphenicol eye drop will do. Pls when applying, apply pressure with your finger at the inner corner of the eye for one minute then bat your eyelid. This is to reduce d amount that gets into your blood stream.
Penicillin eye ointment will do too.

Erythromycin should take care of the cough. What dose are you giving?

For me I will say give it time. She doesn't know night and day yet dats why. Before 4months she will adjust. Can you delay bathing her to like 8pm and feeding her immediately after.
As for resumption, you will have few days of headache but your body will adjust. Dooo

Also, if I eat, after I finish eating, and I drink water, I'll get dizzy and weak that I'll just have to sit down for a while till I'm relieved.

Mild dizziness is part of the package but when it's frequent, you need to check your pcv.
For the after eating part, try not to get very hungry b4 you eat. If you are already very hungry, take a cup of tea or drink for a supply of glucose before you eat.
Don't also eat a large portion of a heavy meal at once. Blood will move to ur stomach with reduce blood flow to ur head thereby making you lightheaded. You can goggle post prandial dizziness in pregnancy for more info. I suffered from it a lot. All the best, don't forget to check ur pcv

Please what about Lonart(DS) , I actually didn't see a gynae today, I met a GP, hence my concern. I had to call the gynae and he said I should take Lonart, even before I told him that I had already been given Coartem.

Do please is Lonart(DS) double strength also safe? Thanks so much, I am already working on the PCV, it was actually lower than that, Ugu, Anara leaves and God is gradually bring it up.

Lonart and Coartem are one and same drugs but by different drug companies. Yes you can take the DS, it's even better so as to reduce the number of tablets you are taking at a go.

Good afternoon lovely mamas. Please I am just coming back from hospital as I' ve been feeling feverish. Test was done and malaria parasite was seen ( one plus) and PCV is 31%. Was given Coartem and paracetamol.

Please just want to confirm; is COARTEM safe in third trimester and is 31% ok for PCV?I am 33weeks gone. Thanks in advance.

Sorry about the fever. Yes coartem is safe in 3rd trimester. Pls try to build your Pcv. 31% is 'let my people go'. Keep up with ur haematinics and add lightly steamed ugu to most of your meals. Don't forget to take at least 1 proteinous food(meat/egg/fish) a day. All d best

You were suppose to take d 2nd dose on d 14th of this month. Which day did they tell u to come. If it has passed nothing spoil. Just take your 2nd dose when you go back. In your next preg, you will have to start afresh. All d best

Hello mamas. Pls has anyone else experienced this? My LO still has a very tiny lump on the immunization site on his left lap from the 6weeks injection. That spot is also dark and left a scar.
He is taking the 10weeks immunization tomorrow and i'm just bothered.

Could it be carelessness from the nurse? Because i can remember the place was very rowdy and the woman wasn't taking her time to give babies injection. Immediately she removes the needle, she will just tap you to get up fast, without giving you time to press down on the site.

Should i have used a private hospital? I also didnt rub or press the site after i got home. I just let it be.

So sorry about your little daughter and the situation you've found yourself. What started your daughter's seizure? A fall, protracted fever, difficult birth? You need a hospital good in neurology to manage her well.
For your situation, is there room for reconciliation? Why don't you try to get his number first and see what can be salvaged from the relationship if not for you, for your daughter's sake.

Though some mothers in the village start pap as early as 2months but that's due to ignorance. WHO says a child should be on bm or formula exclusively for the first 6months of life and American Paediatric Association says at least for the first 4months of life. So that's it

No o! It's too early to start soya and crayfish. Even pap is early. Wait till 4-6months before starting pap. Then after 6months before you start soya and crayfish.
