See a Doctor to rule out liver disease associated with preg. Mild itching though is normal in pregnancy, try to wear loose clothes that will allow ur skin breathe. Doooo

Yes u can, but make sure the grains are thoroughly washed because of sand, then u sun-dry for days. Take to engine that grind dry things.

Preparation: Fetch d quantity u want and add cold water to it.
Pour already boiling water, stir and u can put back on fire if its for baby. But adult can take like that.

Hope this helps.

Does it not need to be fermented? Will boiling water be enough to cook it? Or will it be prepared like watery semo? Sorry for my many questions

@iyabetajos, bromocriptine is notorious for dizziness and for some fainting spells especially when you get up suddenly and @ d start of therapy. Moduretic can also cause you to b dizzy as well If ur BP has been crash down. I'll say d combination may be d culprit but my eyes are on bromocriptine. Sorry dear, pls when next you want to get up from lying position get up slowly. pls see ur Dr for re-evaluation too.

@Goldenruby, have never heard of not giving pcm after vaccination. Isn't his temp rising? Pls give pcm na. Sorry o! By tomorrow he will feel better.

I'm 24 weeks3 days and it was prescribed by a pharmacist. My uncle who's a doc told me to take coartem but the pharmacist said it will be too strong and I shud go for Lonart and I listened. Its now I'm regretting choosing to listen to a pharmacist over a doc

mine took about 6houurs before I delivered probably it was a failed induction? Pls I m sorry I m asking too much questions today.What's is the ideal timing between induction and delivery?

Mine lasted about 3hours from start to finish.
Induction is said to fail if labour fails to progress. Yours wasn't a failed induction. Just as labour duration varies for diff women so also is induction.

@funmz,does induction really cause respiratory stress and death.?Other experience mums pls can you shed more light on this induction and respiratory distress for babies, I didn't mind that I was induced in my last delivery but I m just curious if it could cause respiratory distress and even death to babies,so that i can prepare my mind this time around,the hospital I delivered do not even monitor fetal heart beat while in labour, once you are in labour nothing more.,although I have changed hospital .funmz why don't you try general hospital, CS is usually cheaper there

My 2nd was by induction and it was very smooth and successful.. like all medical interventions, it can go south but it's not as scary as we make it. Before induction some examinations are carried out like cervix exam, reactive CTG etc to know if you are a candidate for it. For d resp distress, it can also happen in spontaneous labour but there's a slight increase of risk in induction but if labour is progressing normally it wouldn't happen. Also with careful titration of oxytocin it can be avoided. For me, advantages of induction are
1. Contraction is more intense and as such faster labour all things being equal.
2. Constant monitoring on d part of d medical personnel and can dictate when something is amiss
3. Reduced risk of postparum haemorrhage
The disadvantages:
1. They burst membrane first so if it doesn't progress wel, dats emergency CS for u
2. Labour can be so so very intense
3.there could be increased risk of distress for d baby is it becomes prolonged
4. Increased risk of uterine rupture if not well titrated.
NB: induction is more favourable to 2nd time mums than FTM.

pls torchlight this matter,I had cough for weeks ago and complained at my ANC,was given ampicillin (4sachets 2capsules) .Had cattarh (thick one have to breath through mouth) few days after,complained again after 2weeks and the same drug was administered.Its been 3 weeks and not totally gone though better.I did steaming with hot water an rub,massage my nose with rub too.Pls,is anything wrong with me? Didn't experience tis before.Any idea from anyone?

Why are they giving you Ampicillin na, there are better drugs. Since you say you are getting better, I will advice you don't take antibiotics again after completing this one, instead you can do menthol inhalation. Nothing is wrong with you dear. Catarrh and cough na my regular sickness when pregnant. Cheers

I went for a doctors appointment today afte r checking the baby he sid everything was OK.But I remember he sent for thyroid test the last time I came so I asked him dat was wen he remembered and checked.He said my thyroid level is to high for a pregnant woman .

Pls Hope he gave you a referal to see a specialist. If the levels are high, you should be started on anti thyroid drugs to prevent stillbirth. Don't be depressed ok. There are drugs to manage d condition. Cheers.

I have limited knowledge on post partum care after CS. As for the family planning,when you go for 6weeks check, visit d family planning clinic, they will educate you and help for make an informed decision on d one that best suits you.

@esof1, so sorry for d pains you hv been through. Pls do your sitz bath religiously, you will heal soon and forget all d pains. Cheers

Pls keep an open mind. Baby may or may not turn cephalic. Some experienced midwives do take breech deliveries but most wouldn't want to try cos of complication.
You can also google forward inversion technique.

Gently push it in or you can tell ur doc abt it during ANC. After pushing in ds 2nd, expect it to still come out. Sitzbath works. All d best

@Bellaella, I had the fainting experience. Check ur PCV and take iron rich food. Also try not to exhaust yourself too much e,g trekking much or doing much at once. Sorry o!
As for the placenta previa, type 1 is the minor one. May likely move b4 36wks scan. So relax and free ur mind.

@ginababy, if u r sure ur supply is sufficient now you can stop d formula. Note that you will hv to feed more often or follow his cue, formula is more filling than bm

Mitchyy, your baby will be fine. If d paed has looked at him and says no jaundice, I don't think there should be any prob. Breastfeed him more, d more he poos out dat yellow egusi like pooh, d more d bilirubin clears out from his system. Glucose water and early morning sunlight works too. Finally mothers know best. If seeking 2nd opinion will put your mind @ rest pls do. Cheers

Why do you want him to poo once? Mama Nawa for u o! Babies keep adjusting so abeg free him. Are there no times you go more than once or twice a day? The summary of my talk is you should let the baby be.
