I just 've to come here this morning to rant. My bAby that readily open his mouth at the sight of a spoon full with food has refused to eat except he's forced. Once he sight his food now, he 'll just be crying and screaming that the whole neighbours will just be asking what is happening. Even the dad is tired of this new attitude. He's 6 months 2 weeks old. D cereal he accepts now is nutribom oat, and it is with force before he can finish 100ml. All d home made food he accepts before, he doesn't want them again. He doesn't accept spoon, he doesn't want the teat of avent and Tommie tippe that I bought. He accepts only this excel baby bank bottles. What do I do. Honestly am tired. He doesn't accept his formula too. So much pureed foods in my freezer.

It's a phase. For most babies their appetite wax and wane. Just don't allow him get bored on a particular kind of food. Variety is key. My son that was a voracious eater before is so very picky now. I spend nothing less than 30mins to feed him his cereals. Even with adult food sef, he gets distracted. I know it a phase sha, cos my older kids did same. So in essence what i'm saying is just be patient and keep trying diff varieties, his appetite will soon pick up to wane and wax again . Cheers

Hello wonderful mothers. Please what soap can I use for my 3years+ son. At birth to the age of 2+, I was using Johnson baby soap for his bath then my sister advised that I change to safeguard soap when he started school. Since I read the post that @ onegai shared on antibacterial soaps and wash, I decided to make a change. A friend suggested dove pure and sensitive soap but I can't seem to find it where I stay. Please help.

@beeblossoms, salbutamol is not a steroid. In this case it's a tocolytic meaning it relaxes the uterine muscles to prevent further contraction. Pls don't stop taking it until your doctor says so.

I used to think GH was better, because you have consultants there and yes, they don't pamper you, but I'd rather a safe baby than be pampered. And I've heard too many tales of how a private hospital, seeing you in trouble, refers you at the last minute to a GH.

I prefer federal hospital anytime anyday

Give it time, it will eventually clear. Mine evened out 8months post partum so just be patient.

For me, I don't support the cyprigold stuff o, because that drug is a sleeping capsule to me. Make we no go infect baby with sleeping sickness o.

Cyprigold is cyproheptadine and i'm uncomfortable with its misuse in infants. It makes the child so drowsy, lethargic and even restless. Doctors prescribe it only when there obvious poor growth and it's on short term basis. I rather prefer mild stimulants like Vit Bco or multivite.

My DS of 7weeks has been pooing all day. Pooed a total of 5 times today. It started yesterday evening. Please what can I do about this? Please.
It's also worth mentioning that he is not on breastmilk at all, only NAN1.

About the breastmilk, please I need advice on that too. When he was born, I didn't lactate immediately. Eventually I did but he just won't latch on. I expressed both with my hand and with a manual breast pump, even at midnight like mama AlphaHandMaiden advised, the most I ever got was 90ml!
And then the breastmilk started dwindling to 10/15ml. Till I stopped all together.

Now the doctor wants to bring back the breastmilk, placed me on a med already. My question is, even if breastmilk supply comes back, how do I make DS latch? As at today, he still wouldn't latch.
How do I keep breastmilk from drying up again?

Please mothers in the house, all suggestions, ideas, advices are welcome. Thank you.

Pls watch d pooing. 5 is quite much. Ensure you sterilize his bottles well. Also up hygiene around d house.
As for establishing bm supply again, you have to keep putting baby to breast. Then theirs this seed, fenugreek, you can try it. All d best
