If you 'end it' what happens to your 2 kids? Suicide is not the solution. Things may seem very hopeless now but there's light @ the end of the tunnel. Why not explain your situation better, who knows, you may get life saving counsel here. We love you.

Good evening mamas.I started having this rib pain at the upper side of my rib.Headache later joined this evening,very severe.A pharmacist opposite my estate prescribed BENEFAC PLUS.The main compound is DICLOFENAC POTASSIUM-50mg and paracetamol -500mg.Is it safe please we would be 21weeks by Wednesday. please don't read and pass.the headache is discomforting.

PCM is ok, I am not really comfortable with diclofenac(NSAIDs) in preg though it can be used b4 3rd trimester. It's a no no in 3rd trimester. Cheers

If the pooh is soft and not hard then it's normal. Some babies make some grunting sound when they are pooing, but he shouldn't be in distress.

Hi i hadly go out of the house,am always in doors with Diamond, most times i stay a whole week indoors,without coming through the door,
my ploblem is since i started coming out like 2 weeks ago,i can hardly open my eyes,any time i try to tears start coming out of my eyes,now it has srarted affecting me inside the house,i get this peppery sensation or as if there is sand inside my eyes.

Although i av experienced something like this before, i had to use a correction glasses for it.
Could it be because of my staying indoors,or has the previous issue arised again, pls has any vigilante mama experienced this?

Also is it advisable to open an account for a newborn considering the fact that you might not have access to that account til the child is 18 or has the policy changed.
Or should i just be putting the money in my account, what if unseen expenses crops up. Please i feel some mamas here are already saving. I need inputs please.

I will advise you open account for the newborn. I did for my 3. I usually open with all monetary gifts they receive before and @ dedication. My mum did for me and handed it over to me when I turned 18. Cheers

@zheemub, watch it and keep him hydrated. When they are teething their pooh tend to be more frequent and watery because of excess saliva swallowed. If it gets more than this, you can take him to the hospital.

Yes you can. For drops you give 0.6ml which is equivalent to 60mg then for d syrup, 2.5ml is equivalent to 62.5mg. So either you give d drop or d syrup.
NB: drop is more concentrated hence d 0.6ml dose

My question is, is there no way to make the baby rice/corn to be just like the packaged ones so when I want to feed baby, I don't have to cook with a pot rather I will just use warm water and prepare like packaged cereals.

Lol. The packaged ones have been enzymatically hydrolysed so easier to prepare and digest. Unlike the ones we make ourselves that is still d crude form with tough starch and the rest.

@viviparity, the menstrual cycle takes sometime to regularize. I hv had 60days and 21 days intervals since AF started post partum. So relax

are they trying to treat or prevent malaria? cos I think fansidar is for prevention but it interferes with folic acid metabolism so u shdnt joke with ur folic acid tab while on it.

I've heard other sabi mamas here say that chloroquine is safe in first trimester. but why not do d test first, then we know if it's prevention or treatment we're talking about.

I have been to the doctor twice in a week, it cleared when we started the treatment and resurfaced again 4 days later, I was given a tablet to dissolve in water and give lo to drink when we went the second time. I noticed a little improvement this evening, the swelling reduced so am really praying it goes away completely.

Ok, thank God. Stop all creams and use vaseline for d meantime. Then for now iron his clothes even his house clothes and his beddings. Be patient and keep applying d cream, it will finally go.

It's normal in subsequent deliveries after your first. It's called afterpain and it's worse when baby suckles.its your uterus contracting back to size. Take your pain relief drug, I guess they prescribed one for you after delivery. If not ibuprofen will do. Dooooh! It will finally stop b4 1wk post partum. Tkia
