starbuck:Guinea corn, corn, millet. As for the groundnut, I think it's the powdered form that's added to the prepared pap. |
BritneyStacy:Well, I had to do a little research. The Internet is agog with conflicting studies that we don't even know what to believe again. From what I gathered, the phytoestrogen present in soybean is the culprit and the concentration is significant in soy based formula especially for under 1 babies. Most of the articles I read reported these things you raised as concerns, growing concerns but not a proven certainty. Debates are still on going. For me, from all I have read, soy based formula is not advised at all, but for those that add to pap, I think very moderate quantity will pass. May God help us o |
Please tell your mum before he ends up destroying your life. |
No I have never and have never enjoyed any home made akara. I don't even bother any more. I simply buy outside. There's just something about commercial akara. |
baby124:I second this @ thewife306 |
comtem2011:Happy birthday dear Comtem, many happy years to you. |
In Jesus name, Oh Lord our God, we thank you for a wonderful day like this. We thank you for giving us the privilege to be counted among the living. We thank you for our children, for Your provision and protection. We commit our kids unto Your able hands. We come against all these childhood diseases that are flying about. We pray that You will protect them. For those that are sick, we pray that Your mighty hands will rest upon them and heal them. We come against dangers in the day and evil at night, we come against evil nannies/ househelps, we come against molesters and kidnapper. We come against domestic accident and road traffic accident especially in this 'ember' months. Lord, we pray and commit our young ones into your care. We pray that we will be a good role model to them. That in this age of depravity, they will be a shining light to their generation. Pls order their steps for us. They shall live to fulfill their destiny IJN. Father, provide for us their parents so that we can take good care of them. For those of us that are believing you for a breakthrough in terms of job, please surprise us beyond our expectation. Thank you Lord for all You have been doing for us. May all glory, honour and adoration be yours now and forever. Amen. |
eolowu1:Pls don't take the yellow n red tab(tetracycline) if you are still breastfeeding. It causes teeth discoloration in kids. Flagyl tab will do for the stooling. Tk care. |
sbenjy:Thank you for this wonderful thread. Please how do I go about change of name from maiden to married name with the registrar. My e dividends are being bounced as a result of surname discrepancy between the registrars and my bank |
Gurus pls help me. My remote won't open or close my doors. I have changed the battery yet its not working. What can be the problem? It's a 2006 Honda accord. Cc: inze Luvinhubby |
If I say i'm not surprised at some of you, I will be lying. We all give advice based on our experience and knowledge and sometimes no 2 experiences are the same. As our faces are different so are our opinions. Were you all expecting just a one sided advice? We will give our opinion but the onus is on the Op to pick some and make her decision. I'm well aware some males equally advised the Op to forget the man and move on, so for you to come here insulting ladies is very petty, unbecoming and immature. Accusing those that gave contrary opinion to yours as jealous or witches is very myopic and silly. Live and let's live. You have given your advice, move on. The Op has made her decision so don't cry more than the 'bereaved'. Happy sunday all |
Kimoni:You couldn't have said it better. I'll care for the kids and take care of the home front but Oga, provide OUR needs. Anything from me na jara ![]() |
MssRose:Since it's healed stop using it. You can use vaseline to rehydrate the area. Cheers |
MssRose:I used chloxyG briefly before I changed to methylated spirit. I have never heard of it making the navel area dry. You should discontinue If the navel is fully healed. My grouse with chloxyG is even that it doesn't dry the umblical stump as much as methylated spirit. |
I thank God that the days of manual in my life are over. I was guilty of number 4. Manual na really work |
infoblaster:Believe fire! How can I believe that one. M kana ami aka? |

Some are true while some are myths. But really, the Oba hardly leaves the palace. It's rare. They said whenever an Oba is crowned something strange must happen. The day Oba EwuareII was coronated harmattan blew at least my side. I don't know if it was a coincidence o. In Benin, the Oba has been deitified. That was how someone told me that Oba Akenzua never entered plane/car, that he will just appear at the said place. Imagine! However, Oba gha to kpere, iseeee! |
In anything you do ask yourself 'will God be happy with me, will my family be proud of me'. This was the night to my resumption for JS1 in a boarding school |
Oga Op, I beg to disagree. Not everyone has a DEADLY secret. I mean the type to destroy a home. |
Lolz. Very hilarious post. But seriously wish men's aim at the toilet will be better |
So Op, did you let her go? |
raumdeuter:Then why are house chores regarded to be my responsibility. Afterall we both work 8 to 4 daily or are women superbeings? Abeg his money is our money and my money is my own except there's a pressing need |
butanep:Pls i'll advise you keep quiet when you are not sure of something. It's you I should ask whether you are married, your comment doesn't seem you are. |
tatacherie:So sorry for the loss. I don't personally start goldenmorn till 2 years but I know people that start at 1. IMHO, I think 9 months is a bit early. Is she rejecting cerelac and co? In other news, that prof's burial is this friday |
DANZAK:It's too early to start cereals. Try another brand of formula and see if he'll accept that one. You can also try giving him in spoon and cup for now. Tatacherie, I sight you. How have you been? Kisses to baby Akela |
AlphaHandMaiden:Yes you are right. Many believe house chores are women's responsibility strictly. When I didn't have a help, hubby will attempt to help but now with help, he's on phone/TV mode. |
Keepshining:His siblings are equally very fair. Meanwhile, Happy birthday mama, age with grace |
Tojued:Lol! True talk sha, having a Help makes hubbys lazy. |
Op, that man doesn't love you one bit. If you go ahead with that wedding, very soon he will start beating you. Move on, what has happened has happened. You can only move on if you move out of that house of co-habitation. But if you still want to go on with the marriage, all the best. |
