Yes o! I guess the iron tab you were given is Fesolate (d red tab). Its very notorious for purging with cramps. I don't take it sef cos of this, I take another formulation of Iron. Also try to take ur iron tabs wit VitC or orange juice. It increases the absorption
Up ur Ugu intake. Steam with crayfish. Take fish/egg/meat daily.

Pls for the records, pregnacare doesn't have enough Iron in it. If your pcv is very ok you can go wit only it but if you are struggling with your pcv it's best ferrous is added to it. In all, discuss with your doc and go wit his decision.

Chineke God! 38% is very okay o. You are good to go.
VE is done when there's a complain and it's to check if the cervix has started dilating. It's not a routine check except in labour

I think an antibiotic powder like cicatrin should dry it off. You can crosscheck this with your doctor. Cheers

My dear there's no best o. Just what suits ur baby and ur pocket. Both products are good but Sebamed seems to be the rave of the moment. A lot of mums here will swear by it. Cheers

Induction is indicated when it isn't safe to delay and wait for labour naturally.
It's painful but fast if your cervix and baby cooperates.
Things can go south which will necessitate emergency CS.
For my second I was induced because of Anaemia @ term. I was 37wks gone then. Labour lasted for 4hrs from start of induction to delivery. With hindsight now, it wasnt a bad experience.
Why do they want to induce you?

UmmTwins2, thanks for sharing. When you gave birth at 37weeks, your baby had no issues abi? Dr has said my baby might come at 37weeks since he's already big and i'm having so many pre-labor symptoms. I'm okay with it too but some pple say baby wont be fully mature at 37weeks

My 2nd was born at 37weeks. 37weeks is term so no probs @ all

Tanx mama, doc actually prescribed medications but I read dat that boil is in her blood she kips having n she told me (unknowningly) that 2 babies who she bathe Fot also had it, dat she that she got it from one of those babies but according to her doctor that particular specie of boil is from an infection n in her blood. I don't wanna be rude but its my baby's well being we are talking abt here.

Even if it's in her blood, d antibiotics prescribed should handle it. In the mean time tell her politely to wait till d boil heals completely before bathing baby. Up hygiene level in your house as MadameU advised.

Colic has degree. Infacol helped my baby's colic a lot. You need a rested mum to give baby maximum care.
Nospamin is a no no for me because of its active ingredient.

I was told if baby is too small, I will pass my EDD and he won't be given BCG until he's 3kg and handling him might be difficult. I'm yet to see my gynea to enlighten me sha, maybe that's why I'm worried.
Since u said he's okay weight wise, I'm relieved. Tnx ma.

It's actually less than 2.5kg that they don't give BCG on time.
My second was 2.6kg, had him @ 37wks. So no cause for alarm

I think its the other way round o. When baby gives u tear, it's 'scattered', anyhow. bt episuotony us usu neater. Of course, smtyms baby can still gv tear even wt episiotomy esp when d epis wasn't 'generous enuf.

MY BIRTH STORY.
In all,to the Glory of God,my baby came out at 6:57am weighing 4kg. Of cos i had tear,one they gave me and the one baby gave me.

From my experience, I have noticed when they give episiotomy, the baby also goes ahead and tears the person resulting in a greater tear but if baby gives u a tear without episiotomy, it's usually mild and heals easily. Who's had this experience?
