@udoomama, sorry about the cold. You are sneezing hard dats why you hv tummy pain coupled with a stretched out preg tummy. You can't do much abt that. Vit C will help and inhalation of menthol crystals dissolved in hot water. The catarrh will run its course and stop.
2. Don't bother about the weight pls. With LMP, u r 27wks +. Note that twins come earlier.
3. Work with your doctors. The leading twin may become cephalic since there's still time. With a previous scar n carrying multiple, your dr may not b keen on vbac. Just go with their judgement. Most doctors do an elective CS for twins between 35 to 38wks.
4. No idea

@mummide, HWA dear
@Aghaibiam, so sorry. May God give u double for your loss
@Wendy80, congrats dear.you hv conquered.
@Enkaydewdrops, try and do sitz bath twice a day, it helped me a lot during preg n post partum. A basin that can enter your bombom will do.
@Joysa, yes o! In my 1st, I kept purging and didn't know I was in labour. I don't know about the oxytocin theory but what I do know is that prostagladins are released towards term/labour to soften & dilate d cervix, This prostagladins also loosen d bowels and cause purging.
@chinwendym, welcome back

@Julie2015, my 2nd had serious reflux. Pls don't give nospamin again instead you can give infacol. Drug or no drug, she will outgrow it before 6months of age.
Burp always after feeding, though she will still vomit as she belches. Hv enough towels handy. Don't forget to massage her tummy lightly during bath. It's well, fret not, it's a phase.

Hey mamas, is farenax (artesunate+sulfadoxine+Pyrimethamine) safe in second trimester? Was given this cos of malaria 1+ cry

The drug inhibits the production of folic acid, hope my lo won't suffer FA deficiency during the period of taking this drug? Also read that the drug causes fetal malformation in first trimester, if it can do this in first trimester, that means it may still have some adverse effects in second trimester huh embarassed

Cc thorpido , kaffy4bill , soonest , and other sabi mamas..
Thanks.
It's safe in second trimester. The sulfadoxine+Pyrimethamine aspect inhibits folate synthesis but it's not significant enough to cause malformation in 2nd trimester. Tk care

I don't think Haers 2L size. This is what my mum bought for me in addition to the Haers. The name on it is Vigorous GINT.
Her flask customers at Onitsha swore that its the best and even offered warranty on the flask. The masterchef might also be okay too, so don't fret. But you would have bought at least one Haers.
I have this flask. It's the bomb.
Congrats Rofemiguwa on d birth of baby Pristine.

YinkaDiva:
He sent her rolling down the stairs with a kick on her protuded belly.
In a pool of her own blood,she took her last breath.
The first time he had hit her,she couldn't believe it.
The spice was much,she was about to explain that.
He got up and landed a slap on her face.
He apologized almost immediately.
She was sad and blamed herself,for not using just the right amount of salt.it was her fault!
He is a "gentle" man.
she had to redeem the situation.
So when 'oga" called in the night,she quickly got to his service.
And that was the beginning of series of battery.Till it became a second nature.
Conversations became punches,
suggestions turned kicks.
She became a ghost of her ownself, making efforts to keep societal value.
Stay married or die trying.
Now she is gone,her children motherless and the society will still blame her for "provoking"her husband.
Why did she add too much spice to his food?
Why didn't jump on the bed immediately he wistled ?
Why did she talk when he was angry?
Why didn't she talk when he was angry?
Why didnt she report to his family?
Why would she talk to a third party?And loads of craps! Welcome to misogynism.Where the blame is always for the woman.Welcome!
Have you blamed a woman today?
She made me cheat on her, she sent me into the hands of another woman, she made me lose my job, she made me hit her bla bla bla. I wonder when men will grow up and take responsibility for their actions. Well, i'm not surprised, they learnt from d best, ADAM, who still blamed God for giving him Eve instead of apologizing.

I am so sorry about this topic. We have dropped it from the home page. Victim blaming is something that should never be condoned. It's not bad to say, 'here are the things you can do to protect yourself', but to say that the people who have been abused are the "main cause" is evil.
Thank you very much. You are a sensitive man

tell that to tens of women that got beaten by their spouse because of verbal abuse,the law is not always right,it wasn't formed by angels,if the law tends to serve the females more than the males,there will be chaos...so they should keep on insulting and the beatings will keep on resurfacing
Men are equally guilty of verbal abuse. Is it that you don't know it.
