Guys, my interview is on Thursday and am so tensed. Kindly advise me on preparation based on the latest interviews. I am going to the consulate in Lagos. Time is 6:45am and the VO is 8. Am going to Michigan Technological University to gain masters in Applied Physics. No scholarship by the school but possible scholarship by the supervisor who has already shown serious interest.
Thanks as I await ample and candid advise.
Read multiple transcripts, record your own voice, and talk to the mirror.

Most importantly; be bold

I wish you good luck in your interview.

Right now.... I want to know between coracle and fintiba which is cheaper.... I was just told that fintiba is almost 10500 euros now.

Seriously the increase in BA is given me high BP. I don't know how to get the remaining.

Please those who funded with coracle should help me.... How much is their own amount??
It's not a decision made by any particular bank but a new amendment to the student visa application requirements.
Please go ahead and work towards the "balance"; it's nothing in-achievable.

If I consider Nigeria public holidays, it amount to 18 working days, but a friend of mine who did biometrics on the 5th of August just got a mail that his passport is on the way (courier) service, same standard service (Ikeja VAC). So what is the rational behind UKVI erratic decisions ?
The "rationale behind the UKVI decision" is nothing else but the fact that each application are handled by different individuals, at different times, your cases are different as well. Kindly hold on to the time, and if you still did not receive response after the stipulated time, then you can go ahead and send an email.

Hello house, good evening....... Please I need help deciding what to do..... I have previously been denied visas to the following countries
Uk(tourist visa) 2011/2013
US (tourist visa) 2018
Canada (student visa) 2018. The thing is I already declared all of the refusals to the school... But don't know if to declare the US refusal to ukvi as I can't find the refusal letter . Thought about not stating the US refusal since I don't have the refusal letter but I am scared of being found out and punished for it..... Please I need your advice on what to do. Thanks
Hello,

Your previous denials have nothing to do with the approval you are hoping for. Regarding your question; visit your ustraveldocs page, and print the application status of your previous US Visa denial, since you can't find the blue paper you were given at the embassy.

Also include (mention, state, list, clarify, elucidate, etc.) all these denials in order not to be charged for misinformation, which might result to ban.

Yours is far better than mine (situation), I did biometrics since 26th July, until now I haven't gotten any email from UKVI, it's been officially 20 working days now (30 days including Saturdays and Sundays and today's UK public holiday). Although I called UKVI on Thursday last week, I was told my application is awaiting decision and that it will be escalated, not even sure what that means exactly. Is here any body who did biometrics in IKeja VAC on the 26th of July, 2019 who is in my shoes ?
Remove the Saturdays and Sundays, including the Holidays.

It will eventually end in praise.
EducationRe: Guide To Ghost Writing by SOPWriter(op):
Business books: Any entrepreneur knows the value of being seen as an authority in their field, and a great way to establish this authority is by publishing a relevant book. However being an expert gardener doesn’t mean you can magically produce a successful gardening book, which is why entrepreneurs often need a ghost writer to either collaborate on (or entirely write) their book. This type of non-fiction ghostwriting is often self-published and used to support the business or other revenue-generating activities.
EducationRe: Guide To Ghost Writing by SOPWriter(op):
A ghostwriter may be the main or partial writer behind a book, but they are not the author. They are hired to carry out the vision of their client, and their main concern is with satisfying that client.

While ghostwriting is a profession often associated with celebrity memoirs, some may be surprised to learn that there are many other types of ghostwriting, including:

Business books
Lifestyles books
Book proposals
Speeches
Blog posts
Social media posts
Newsletters
EducationGuide To Ghost Writing by SOPWriter(op):
A ghostwriter is a freelancer, hired to write literary or journalistic works, speeches, or other texts that are officially credited to another person as the author.

Celebrities, executives, participants in timely news stories, and political leaders often hire ghostwriters to draft or edit autobiographies, memoirs, magazine articles, or other written material. In music, ghostwriters are often used to write songs, lyrics, and instrumental pieces. Screenplay authors can also use ghostwriters to either edit or rewrite their scripts to improve them.

I posted this for someone out there who fills all hope is lost. Delay does not mean denial. Believe totally in God no matter what. Don't give up. Also try to have contingency plans to avoid disappointments. Don't place all your eggs in one basket.

I started this journey in 2017, paused for 2 years. And resumed again this year.

Don't expect anybody to give you loads of information. Everything you need is on this thread.

I read this thread from Part 13 - Part 16 back to back before I began my application. Also, I didn't ask any questions until about 4 days to when I was about to submit my application.

Special kudos goes to Frankrobbn1. Truely you are a God sent to this thread. Anyone who comes across you can attest to that. May God bless you bountifully!!!

I thought my application was tight until he vetted it. I was confounded and shocked when he said I was missing a plethora of things in my application. Frank literally opened my eyes that day. So I made the corrections he pointed out but I didn't get any confirmation from him whether my corrections were okay and I needed to submit my application.

So I PRAYED, PRAYED, PRAYED and submitted with faith in God

And now I can say my application was a success.

All thanks to all the gurus in the house who has inspired me and continue to render selfless service to people in this thread. Furthermore, my appreciation goes to the originator of this thread. It's indeed a blessing to have such thread like this.

Not to mention Big name like Austacus. You have done alot for me. God bless you bro!

I wish you all success in your applications.
Congratulations! More of this we pray for. Amen!

Window 10, Abuja US Embassy

V.o : Good morning
Me: good morning

Vo: so what’s the purpose of your trip
Me: going for my MPA at UIS(in full though)

Vo: oh forgive me, I have your i20 I dunno why I asked
Me: smiles*, that’s okay

Vo: I see your resumption is in January
Me: Yes (I wanted to explain why I had to defer and reschedule to this month but I didn’t)

Vo: so what’s your highest degree
Me: A B.L (Barrister at Law)

Vo: when was it obtained and where
Me: told him.

Vo: so how many school did you apply to
Me: 3

Vo: how many admits
Me: 2

Vo: which
Me: UIS and AU

Vo: so why this school
Me: Well My 3 top reasons for picking UIS over AU, one, the school is situate at the state capital which is the hub of policy making for the state of Illinois, which brings me to my second reason, there is a program called the Illinois legislative staff internship program which would allow me...(cuts in)

Vo: smiles* I think I understand already. So tell me, you’ve read law, why MPA now?
Me: uhmm, from my undergraduate studies till now that I am in practice, I have come to realize that it is not just enough to make or interpret laws/policies, one major problem of this process is implementation! legal skills alone are barely adequate to help solve such contemporary problem. They are so many laws/policies that are being made everyday but never implemented, for example, the national minimum wage Act which was passed into law months ago, is yet to be implemented.
(I paused to be sure he was paying me attention)

Vo: (looks at me and signaled that I carry on)
Me: A degree in MPA would help me conceptualize and interpret both existing and future laws as well as it’s implementation in accordance to risk and uncertainty. Also to help examine to what extent in devising and executing a policy affects the overall shape and impact of such policy on the categories of persons it is made for or the citizens as a whole. This is important because at the end of my program I’d like to work with the National Institute of Legislative studies, an organ of the NA, they provide the same service that the Congressional research service provides the US Congress and ...(cuts in)

Vo: smiles* I think that’s fine. How many siblings do you have? What does your older sibling do?
Me: I have 2 sisters and I am actually the first

Vo: Okay, so where does your dad work? He is sponsoring you, right?
Me: No, he is not. My uncle is.

Vo: what does he do?
Me: he is a legal practitioner and also a SAN(in full)
Vo: where does he live?
Me: ***Abuja

Vo: Okay, can I see his bank statement?
Me: yes, sure (hands it over)

Vo: (types for 5mins or less) so I’ll be giving you a conditional approval, this is because we need to verify the authenticity of the bank statement. If it is found to be fraudulent, you’d be banned from the US for life. Do you want me to go ahead?
Me: yes sure.
Vo: (hands me the white paper and a white slip) congratulations....I can’t remember exactly what he said after that.

Thank you to everyone who contributes to the platform by dropping their transcripts, helping to answer questions, to help others with proposed transcripts, encouraging others etc, God bless you.
Sharwama, LagosismyHome, Time2win, Brown2Green I remember these names because I always look forward to reading their inputs and very detailed responses. God bless you all. God did it!
Congratulations!

Good afternoon NL. I am new here and infact, this is my first post.

I got admission to lambton college to study pgd in advanced health care leadership (2020 January resumption). After, I applied for my study visa June 7, 2019 and June 28, got my refusal letter. 2 REASONS: NOT SATISFIED YOU WILL LEAVE CANADA BASED ON TRAVEL HISTORY AND PURPOSE OF VISIT.

I repackaged myself, add all necessary documents, well written SOP, etc and submitted my application again July 16, 2019 and I requested for my GCMS report for the first refusal July 17( still waiting for report though) and just 4 days ago, August 20 precisely got a refusal letter again. 2 REASONS: NOT SATISFIED YOU WILL LEAVE CANADA BASED ON YOUR FAMILY TIES IN CANADA AND YOUR COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE ; BASED ON YOUR PURPOSE OF VISIT.

More information about my application, I graduated from OAU Ile Ife, 2010 from department of Medical Rehabilitation (Occupational Therapy Option). Did my internship in OAUTHC Ile Ife and went to Kaduna for my nysc ; completed all between 2011 and 2012. I started working with Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria in 2013 till date. Married with two kids and they are not traveling with me and I have been given study leave at work.

To the best of my knowledge and ability, I perfected my application based on the knowledge gained from this people here in Nigeria, Canada, etc. I think I would not have done more than what I did as
1, I have sufficient funds in my account.
2, my home tie is my wife and two kids which I included there birth certificate, my siblings here, work, etc
3, evidence of landed properties and government consents.
4, Employment letter, letter of introduction from work, study leave agreement duly notorised and sealed. Promotion letters, work ID card, tax clearance card,
5, pension statements of accounts,
And many more

But I guess may be my age is the problem (37... Born February 1,1982). I maybe wrong though.

While waiting for my GCMS note of my first refusal to specifically tackle if possible the third time, i sincerely thank all the intellectuals on this forum for their sefless and indifatigable efforts in helping out as at when needed. In fact, there is no better place to gain TRV knowledge than this forum.

I HOPE FOR YOUR ADVICE ASAP. THANKS

THE DOCUMENTS IS SUBMITTED TO CIC AS BEEN EMAILED TO BY THE GCMS REPORT ISSUER(22N AUGUST, 2019) BUT THEY SAID THE DETAILED REFUSAL REPORT WILL COME AS SOON AS THEY GET IT( I DONT KNOW WHAT THEY MEAN SHA). Anyway I'm waiting for it
"To the best of your knowledge" but not to that of the VO: work on your SOP as Mr. Frank had said, and make sure you emphasize on your possibility of returning to your home country.

Good Luck.

I just kukuma collected my blue paper and disappeared. Am hoping to reapply soon. My program starts on Oct 1st
What are my chances and I don’t intend making any changes in my next application
US embassy mostly doesn't approve applicant's VISA to study in a Community College. Secondly, you should apply to more schools, including Universities. You are good to try again, as there are few people who had got their VISA approved, so, you could be lucky to be one of the "few".
