I grew up seeing my father always beating my mum.
It was impossible for my parents to stay for 24 hours without a fight.
If he is not physically abusive, he is verbally abusing her.
I don't think I saw my parents gist and laugh up to 3 times in all the years I lived with them.

My dad did the most unimaginable things to my mum.. Sometimes, she landed in hospital.

In 2015,he stabbed her with a bottle and I spent my savings to save her life.
After which, I relocated her.. rented an apartment for her and started a business for her..and we stayed together with my younger siblings there.
I later got a job outside our state and relocated.

Within a year, my mum started getting in contact with her husband.. before I knew it, she left the house and went back to him.

She made me her enemy now
We have not seen in the past 4 years and we hardly talk.
The story she is telling people now is that she never divorced her husband. They never separated.. It was me who tried to destroy her marriage by taking her away and renting another place for her.


The man still abuses her, though more verbally since old age has humbled him, somewhat.

The recent happenings happened this morning after so many years, I came home for a very close relative's burial same with our eldest bro whose in his mid 30s. I never knew this is what heart break feels like, I'm shattered and broken.

I started dating him from 100 level till we graduated, it's been five years now. We suffered and passed through a lot together, I made a lot of sacrifices for him and even had two painful abortions for him.

Opinion Poll: Vaginal Tear Or Cut During Childbirth. A Dream Or A Dread.

A wonderful day to everyone.

In the course of my discussion with a group of women on childbirth experiences and associated issues including vaginal tear or cut during child delivery and its management. Someone stated that she dread having a Tear or Episiotomy again after the ugly experience at the birth of her first child which almost cost her life after being poorly managed by the healthcare workers.

Almost immediately after that, another woman expressed her desire to have a tear at delivery, cos she had learnt that the place gets tightened more as the sutured wound heals, giving more pleasure during intercourse.

I'm now seeking members' opinion, especially mothers, on this issue.

Do/Would you Desire for a Tear or Cut During Childbirth or you Dread it.

If you don't get an episiotomy, you may have a perineal tear, the latter being worse.
Both require suturing.

The doctor or nurse, attending to the delivery makes this decision

I was posted to adamawa for nysc but we had to camp in Kano because of the insecurity.
I was made the platoon leader hence i was involved in so many things.

There is this lady that came from nowhere into the camp that day, she made me know that she is not staying for the 3 weeks camping. Though she was in my platoon.
She walked up to me to give her a form and i asked her to follow me to the hostel because that's where the form is (in my bag)
There is no insult i did not receive from this small girl. She was shouting on top of her voice, causing me and calling all sort of names.
I made my way to report her to some officials.
Unknown to her the one of the official observed and saw what happened all along and ask me not to be respond to her.He was a Christian from adamawa.. Has a Christian name.

He turned to the girl and told her he saw all that happened why is she behaving like that to a stranger?

Honestly i was surprised the way some people reason up north.... I said some not all.

Personally i can't stay in the North... Except middle belt region... Like banue, kogi etc.

NYSC posted me to Sokoto state.
I didn't report to camp.. instead, I revalidated and found my way to Edo state.

I am a Southerner from the Niger Delta.
I have lived in the South West, south east.. but anything Middle belt and up North.. not for me.

I think anybody who is not a Muslim living in the North has no common sense and lacks value for his or her life.

I got a job while still serving..
Had to combine PPA and new job for the last 3 months of my service year.

After NYSC, I was moving from one job to the other until I got govt job and eventually relocated abroad.
It depends on what you studied.
NYSC that many of my colleagues avoid.
Some have relocated abroad without serving.

3 weeks ago, My two sisters in Uni (One is already planning on getting married) came to visit due to the strike.

Armed men 4 in total broke into our house around 1 am, I woke up after hearing a heavy bang, they are already in the parlour, at gunpoint they asked me to bring all my laptops, money and valuables, the robbers forced me and my sisters (unfortunately in night clothes) to the master room, they tore their dresses, in turns they forcefully raped them, I begged and cried for them to stop but one of them smashed my head with the gun and told me if i move he would shoot me in the head.

I haven't been able to sleep and my sisters are so traumatized, I couldn't do anything to help but watch them cry while these monsters raped them. i am so depressed and unhappy, how can i move on from this sad event?
