Car TalkRe: Which Car Is The Most Stolen In Nigeria? by splitnaija(m): 10:49pm On Oct 27, 2011
I used  MTN's Adata C-track but it failed 8 months into a 12-month subscription period and thank God my car wasn't stolen

Now, I use black magic (baba suwe type) and it's very effective (NDLEA can testify to that)

RomanceRe: Your Previous Relationship: Why Did You Break Up? by splitnaija(m): 4:23pm On Oct 24, 2011
Ebeeluv:
I broke up with him cos he was too possesive and abusive.

He used to lock me up and went out with the key whenever he didnt want me to go out
@Ebeeluv
Imagine a scenario where he locks you up and goes with the key. Suddenly, there is a fire outbreak and you're trapped. How would you have escaped? Thank your God the relationship finally broke up.

@OP

I just graduated then, waiting for NYSC posting and was so unsure what the future holds. She was in 100L, going to 200L and was engaged to a suitor who was well established and desperately needed to settle down in life -had a company of his own, fleet of cars, well-loaded financially and was ready to see her through shool etc., etc. (I got to know of this from some mutual friends and she didn't deny when I asked).
I broke up (but nicely though) because I was shocked she could double-date despite the love and care from the other guy and I felt I could be treated same way in the future (may be I was wrong).

Everything is bad with it, talking from experience.
EducationRe: Brilliant Students And Examination Malpractices by splitnaija(m): 11:04am On Oct 24, 2011
We lay too much emphasis on paper qualification in Naija. Until that is discouraged, we shall continue to have "mercenaries" in our exam halls.

High-heels, painful braids, contact lens, skin toning, ear-piercing, etc, etc.

If you're not naturally endowed as in being bursty and big-a$$ed, you're just wasting your time with guys like me -no matter the pains undecided

When you have a highly focussed lady for a wife, the decision is a whole lot easier to make.

@OP

I'm happy you were not harmed, you certainly will recover your vehicle as it most likely was used as a getaway vehicle.

But next time, avoid being too nice because the naija good samaritan has long been killed by kidnappers, militants, armed-robbers, yahoo-yahoo boys, Boko Haram members, etc, etc.

Mrs, Chima:
It been that long huh? lipsrsealed

MAJORITY of the men lasts about 2 seconds anyway.
Dear Mrs. Chima, it has a lot to do with whom you've been involved with so far. Otherwise, the almighty Okafor's law of Congodynamics wouldn't have still been holding forte till this moment.

yes ofcourse, Sir, u failed to mention pending revolution in the church where offering and tithe that should be used to maintain the body of Christ wholesomely, is used to purchase private jets and denying the faith in Christ,and the gospel of Christ in Christ displaced for mamonic gospel. Oneday God himself will stand to judge church fund embezzlers and mamonic preachers.
Gbam!!!

PoliticsRe: Oyedepo Foresees A Revolution In Nigeria by splitnaija(m): 1:03pm On Oct 20, 2011
I think all these fake prophets are getting intoxicated by their loots. The other day it was TB Joshua, today it's Oyedepo. How better are they than the politicians they are castigating?

They brainwash people to part with their hard-earned money in return for "supernatural blessings" while they use the tithe and offerings to live like kings on earth. Is there any among them that doesn't own a private jet, Private University, bullet-proof cars, security escorts, etc, etc. while their followers wallow in abject poverty? I get so really upset when all these pulpit thieves venture out of their looting domains to give unsolicited predictions.

And by the way, who needs a "prophet" to know a revolution is imminent going by the current trend of things?

RomanceRe: Okafor's Law by splitnaija(op): 8:44am On Oct 20, 2011
prokure:
Afor is an important market/events day in Igbo culture and folk lore, and Oke means 'head male' or 'male head' depending on the one you understand better.
So, okeafor which can be spelled and written as okafor loosely translate to male head of afor.
It can be adjudged to be 'a very strong male'.
You are all welcome.
Thanks for the clarification.

RomanceOkafor's Law by splitnaija(op): 3:32pm On Oct 18, 2011
The first time I heard about Okafor's law was when I was a Youth Corper.
I overhead my boss then jokingly saying to his friend he was going to apply Okafor's law on a certain person.
As a bloody Corper, I had no guts to ask him anything about the said law as that could mean insurbodination. But somehow, I stumbled on it on the internet a while ago and was amazed.

Okafor's Law of Congodynamics

C1 + P = C∞
It states that once a Congo has been shined once (C1) , it can always be shined (C∞ ) provided it was shined properly ( P) the previous times.

In scientific circles, opinion is divided as to whether it is actually a law or just a hypothesis. There is a large body of evidence to suggest that it is a law but there are others who think it is merely a hypothesis and does not take into account other variables such as M (marital status), O (opportunity) and F (Financial status) of either one or both of the parties.

Now having read through, I want responses on how true and reliable this law is.

1. Has anyone ever fallen victim of this law?
2. Does it apply to only females?
3. Does it have a validity period?
4. Are there other laws or hypotheses by this scientist called Okafor?
5. What does the name Okafor really mean?

All these naija babes sef!

I met one the other day who declined to even sip a glass of Heieneken on the grounds that she doesn't take alcohol. A week later, I ran into her on my way home from work and offered to drop her off since she was heading in my direction. To my surprise, she was oozing of dry gin and this was just around 7:00 p.m. When I asked if she had been drinking, she only smiled and said the gum she was chewing had alcoholic flavour!!!
