GenBuhari:My argument is based on utterances by Buhari's CPC and its chieftains, not on any untruths by PDP. |
Sorry, no time to read GEJ's rhetorics anymore because I hear another bomb is about going off in my neighbourhood. I'm running for cover now!!! Good luck Naija. |
^^^ Based on provocative and inciting utterances by CPC chieftains and leaders of which Buhari is a leading figure. |
Re: CPC Plots To Destabilize Nigeria - PDP « #17 on: Today at 07:05:25 AM » hehe! I said the same thing yesterday in the Helen Ukpabio thread and some idiots were foaming in the mouth thinking they were abusing me. Buhari is partly responsible (through his utterances to his illiterate followers) for the current "Boko Haram" we are dealing with. FACT. Bros, God bless you. Na so some Boko Haram members on NL wan bomb me on the same thread yesterday. Look when next on NL, wear crash helmet, bullet proof vest and any other relevant protective device you can think of cos BOKO HARAM members have infilterated NL!!! But GOD pass them ![]() |
^^^ So, what is the CPC's machinery for violence and lawlessness? Certainly not Boko HARAM and all the bombings across the land!!! And I ask again, who are the so-called leaders and chieftains of the CPC? BUHARI the "weeping" General is certainly not one of them!!! If BUHARI had contested while Gen. Idiagbon was alive, may be I would have voted him because I know like what happened in the eighties, BUHARI would have heavily depended on Idiagbon for direction in his governance. Apart from religious bigotry where BUHARI is very outstanding, BUHARI is as clueless as GEJ when it comes to governance if not worse. |
CPC Plots To Destabilize Nigeria - PDP « on: Today at 12:34:29 AM » Buhari’s party plots to destabilise govt -PDP •PDP wants to give us a bad name -CPC Written by Leon Usigbe and Okey Muogbo Tuesday, 13 September 2011 THE Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says it has uncovered a plot by the opposition Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) to destabilise the Federal Government and cause instability in the country. It alleged in Abuja, on Monday, that the CPC was working in consonance with some fringe opposition groups on methods to adopt to cause instability in the system, including discrediting the judiciary and launching impeachment attack on the activities of President Goodluck Jonathan. A statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Professor Rufai Ahmed Alkali, linked the plot to those the party said were behind post-election violence in parts of the North that led to the death of many and destruction of property. According to the statement, “this time round, the CPC, along with other fringe political association, has devised a three-pronged approach to destabilise the country. These methods include a concerted campaign to discredit the judiciary, flying dangerous kites like impeachment of the president, and a so-called mass action to tarnish the image of the Federal Government if these options fail.” The PDP, which said it wanted to draw the attention of Nigerians to “yet another threat to the peace and stability of Nigeria by members of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC),” recalled that “the unfortunate cycle of violence that broke out in the country after the last general election was incited by inflammatory statements by leaders of the CPC during their campaigns.” The ruling party added: “We earlier had cause to question the CPC's interest in the internal affairs of the judiciary when indeed they had demonstrated an absolute lack of faith in this arm of government. This disrespect has been further amplified by the pronouncements of its defeated gubernatorial candidate in Jigawa State, who recently declared publicly that they had no faith in the judiciary but were only waiting for an unfavourable decision in their petition in order to take the next appropriate action.” “Their declared lack of faith in the judiciary clearly shows that they have a bad case at the tribunal ab initio,” the PDP noted. The party accused members of the CPC of mobilising other parties “to commence impeachment proceedings against the president over some imaginary allegations, saying, “we find this proposed action by the CPC curious. Otherwise, how can the CPC, with only 35 out of 360 members in the House of Representatives and seven out of 109 senators meaningfully initiate an impeachment move against PDP Government with an overwhelming majority in both chambers of the National Assembly?” The PDP recalled a statement made by a chieftain of the CPC at the weekend, quoting a defeated CPC governorship candidate as saying “we do not start violence without reasons to do that and we do not instigate acts of lawlessness without reasons to do that, I am telling you that when it is time, all of us will act. I am willing to lead a revolt against this government, ” The PDP said it viewed CPC’s current posturing seriously and, therefore, called on law enforcement agencies “to be alert and closely monitor the subversive activities of this group, especially against the background of present security challenges in the country.” It, therefore, called on Nigerians to “be steadfast in defending those they have freely elected and to resist those whose sole agenda is to make our country ungovernable for their selfish interests.” Reacting to the allegation, the national secretary of the CPC, Alhaji Buba Galadinma, dismissed it as an attempt by the PDP to give CPC a bad name. According to Alhaji Galadima, the motive of the PDP is to spoil the chances of the CPC at the presidential election petition tribunal where the opposition party is challenging the victory of the PDP in the last presidential election. He insisted that what the PDP needed to do to achieve peace in Nigeria was to give the people good government and quality leadership. http://www.tribune.com.ng/index.php/front-page-news/28101-buharis-party-plots-to-destabilise-govt-pdp-pdp-wants-to-give-us-a-bad-name-cpc |
okada_man:This was before Boko Haram claimed responsibility for the UN House bombing. Can you show me another statement by Buhari after Boko Haram claimed responsibility? Again, you can see the headline of your other post on Buahari -Nigeria: Buhari Condemns Post-Poll Violence, As Mosque Attacked. No comment when churches or other places are atacked, Buhari only talks when pple who share his beliefs and sentiments are attacked. That is his greatest undoing becuase he is now seen as a sectional leader. |
Pukkah:Mr A can be said to be guilty of the crime if he has openly made utterances in the past that are capable of precipitating the present happenings without making commensurate effort to openly douse the tension generated by his earlier utterances. |
^^^ Silence means consent . Otherwise, let Buhari come out openly & condemn and Boko HaR.A.M. in solidarity with GEJ and other well-meaning Nigerians. |
velo10:This is the question Buhari should genuinely be asking his Boko Haram supporters. |
dayokanu:Bros, take am easy ooo with all these your anti-GEJ sentiments. Though I share some, my own neva near your own at all at all . At this rate, u stand d risk of developing stroke sharp, sharp ![]() |
The Press is killing this country slowly. In as much as I don't support "weeping" General Buhari on his irreconcilable stance about the result of the elections, I don't see reasons why views by a demented person (can't really get myself to type her name cos she's a nonentity) should be published by any Journalist who knows his or her onus. |
emmatok:Waooo! What a revelation!!! So she was killed for trying to make their marriage work ?? |
sayso:The issue is why talking about contesting in 2015 now when he's less than 5 months into a running 4-yr mandate? What meaningful thing has he achieved with the present mandate other than insecurity all over the land? |
Who the f***k is this SAN? He should be arrested for trying to heat up the polity. Are all the bomb blasts everywhere not enough heat? |
I find it difficult to kill a fowl (even during xmas), how come someone is comfortably able to hack down a fellow human? Pls b/4 the attacks, I'm not passing judgement here, just thinking generally. |

@OP I made this track (version by Michael Bolton) my favourite in my university days (200level) then when I was being ditched by my very first girlfriend. What was her reason for ditching me? She was going back to her former boyfriend who ditched her shortly b/4 I met her but who had come back to make amends (I never knew there was a former boyfriend anywhere until the very day she told me she was leaving). But I became strong when she told me to stop crying (I actually cried like a baby that day) and that I was embarassing her cos in her words "there were a lot of other girls out there". She even opted to help me seek one in case I needed her help with that, I callmly told her not to bother and thereafter, I resolved in my mind to pay her back in her own coin. I gave her assurances that I was there for her anytime in case the same old boyfriend of hers decides to dump her again and surprisingly, she fell for it! In my final year, she traced me from my department then to my accommodation through the help of some my course mates. What was the message? She was back to me as the guy eventually dumped her a second time!!! I wasted no time in accepting her back and when I had satisfied myself (spanning about 3 months), I quietly told her to stop visiting me cos I wouldn't want my real girlfriend to meet her (see her doing like the whole world had crumbled on her)! The last time I saw her was during my graduation ceremony, I saw her soberly waiving at me from the crowd while my new girlfriend was busy posing for photographs with me But I'm eternally grateful for that experience cos it made me emotional stable in my subsequent relationships including my marriage today. ![]() |
