Kpac:Thanks a lot for your detailed analysis, I believe every right-thinking person totally agrees with your views here. If we continue to use every available medium such as this to condemn all these shortfalls in our attitude as Nigerians, I believe we all will be better of in the long run. God bless you. |

Ournaija:You are very right. I'm also of the opinion that it's better to wait for another round of elections (4yrs from now) or follow other legitimate means of removing those we felt have not performed to our expectations. All these bombings and general insecurity all over the land will not help anyone, tribe, region, ethnic or religious divide in the long run. If allowed to snowball into a full-fledged conflict, the consequences far outweigh any momentary advantages (if any) to any group. Therefore, let's reason together and proffer solutions to our number one problem at the moment (insecurity), then we can map out strategies to wrestle power legitimately from those we feel don't deserve it due to their gross under-performances. I personally voted GEJ and convinced my little circle of friends to do same. If u roll back the hands of the clock now, I'm not sure I will do same again due to his seemingly lack of vision (he still has a little over 3 yrs to prove me wrong). But be that as it may, I will not support violence and wanton destruction of lives and properties all in the name of a lost election. By my own judgement (I may be wrong), that will only lead to anarchy and ultimately the splitting/disintegration of this country if not curtailed. |
I'm really not concerned if you pay her school fees or not especially now that you've already done so. I would rather have advised that she finds a way to sort it out while you give her back the amount at a convenient time so as to attend to pressing demands from mum and sisters. |
Attend to madam whenever she's is in the mood and don't be mad at her if she is not (maybe she's a prayer warrior and always fasting, who knows? ) But pls don't ever take a 2nd wife, rather go discrete and keep a small "Okpeke" somewhere who is agile and ever ready to allow you "in" 24x7 ![]() |
@ronkebp Pls leave Nayah alone on this. She's happily married and so is my wife!!! ![]() |
This is really pathetic for both the teacher and the kid. |
lagcity:Gbaammmmm!!! |
Moderator, pls let's have all these images removed as a mark of honour to the dead. May his soul rest in peace. |
^^^ No, I'm just okay with what I've read (at least for now). Thanks once again for reasoning like my sweet, lovely wife ![]() |
Nayah:I agree so much with the boldened comments above and I'm so glad someone reasons exactly like my dearly beloved wife. She gives me so much "freedom to operate" that most times, I now personally place restrictions on myself before "awoof go run belle" And this has made me to love and respect her so much!!!!!! Mind you, this has been on for 10yrs now and still counting!!! With the kind of freedom I have, you wouldn't accept a 2nd wife even if given to you free. Am I not lucky like Nayah's husband? ![]() |
^^^ Not really, I'm on NL to learn but I'm just sick and tired of seeing that word almost on every thread I open ![]() |
dayokanu:Try use another word please, online dictionary is free. |
Please I'm tired of all these lessons in Arabic history, If that's what I'm looking for I know where to go. Question : Any sense in Moslem women demontsrating in Kano over Palestinian women's plight? Answer: Capital NO Reason: The demonstration should actually be against the use of Northern children as Boko Haram and political thugs by BUHARI's CPC in Nothern Nigeria. |
agitator:Eeh yah!!! But either way, you're dead!!! It's like choosing between BUHARI & GEJ ![]() |
@OP Please can you help start another thread with a heading like:- Buhari's silly actions after losing elections:- 1. Wept like a day-old baby 2. Believed an imaginary mandate has been stolen from him 3. Turned himself into a sectional leader 4. Believed Microsoft Excel packages recognized him as BUHARI so couldn't record his high votes ![]() |
^^^ Agreed. More like a detailed explanation of my earlier suggestion. |
@ Okadaman, Demdem okada_man:1. I did not ask you to apologize for insulting me - I said Boko Haram members were on NL and you meant I was talking to you: Not my fault, it's your thinking. So, no apologies for that. 2. I asked you to apologize for spreading propaganda, making unsubstantiated claims and causing me to waste my time refuting them. Get it? -CPC leaders and chieftains publicly threatened (and are still threatening) the peace of the land all in the name of a lost election. No apologies either because this is no lie or propaganda 3. You felt insulted by my post on another thread (not this one and unknown to me) - I apologize for unknowingly making you feel bad, I wouldn't do that intentionally. |
@Okada Man Please go jump on your okada and enjoy a pleasant evening ride as we both enjoy GEJ's governance while it lasts ![]() Whether CPC, Boko Haram, Buhari, etc, etc, etc, like it or not, the choice has already been made!!! We only need patiently wait till the expiration of four years and not try to decimate this country before then -that isn't supporting the devil to me And my humble suggestion is, if someone feels so bad that a wrong choice has been made and has no patience to correct the error just 4 yrs from now, as implied by my handle, pls let's split naija!!! ![]() If you were hurt in anyway by any of my posts, my sincere apologies pls. No ill-feelings intended. Cheers |
okada_man:@Okada_man I only alluded to the fact that some Boko Haram members have infilterated NL. If you see this as a direct insult on your person, what else can I say? ![]() However, hope you've checked other numerous threads where I've been very critical of GEJ and his "talk and no action" governance. I've said it severally that GEJ (and by extension PDP) is not doing a good job at governance at the moment and have even suggested he seeks advices from well-meaning Nigerians rather than his present "we-know-who-they-are" posture. I've also said that I strongly believe that Buhari is as clueless as GEJ when it comes to governance and I gave conditions that would have made me go the Buhari way in spite of his religious bigotry (read below). If BUHARI had contested while Gen. Idiagbon was alive, may be I would have voted him because I know like what happened in the eighties, BUHARI would have heavily depended on Idiagbon for direction in his governance I even summarized somewhere that a choice between BUHARI & GEJ is like choosing between the Devil and the deep blue sea: Either way, you're a goner!!! If you put all these together, then you will know where I stand. |
^^^ Check most states with post election violence, they are states with very high numbers of CPC followership. What other proof do you need? |
@Okada_man You don't need to rain insults and abuses to buttress any point of yours, if you make sense I will see reason with you. That there were a lot of inciting and provocative utterances from different quarters before and immediately after the elections is not in doubt. However, only CPC members, tacitly supported by their losing leaders, carried out their threats of unleashing violence and unrest all over the land. Hope you haven't forgotten that the election wasn't about CPC & PDP alone but about CPC, PDP, ANPP, APGA and over 40 other political parties. Why is CPC the only sore loser? |
When Boko Haram claimed responsibility for the UN HOUSE bombing in Abuja, I created this handle "splitnaija" knowing the end of the entity called Nigeria was near!!! I've gone through this thread from the very first post to the last so far and I'm not surprised at the number of right thinking people who now share this view. |
. plus no extra kids. the only disadvantage to this is that the man must have money and vasectomy is highly recommended. i think the man's wife would prefer this also since she'll remain the only wife and her kids won't have to share inheritance with other kids.
