HealthRe: An Innocent Life Wasted By Negligence Of Eko Hospital by spoilt(f): 3:06pm On Oct 07, 2007
@webjunior
chemotherapy is a gamble.
It works for some and it doesnt work for others. Its a very agressive treatment that makes your hair fall out, your skin flake and peel. It may or may not kill those cancer cells. Its not guaranteed that after your chemo treatments you will recover. Its a big gamble to take. But its even more foolhardy to refuse the chemotherapy. Either the cancer takes you or the chemotherapy does. In my brothers case chemotherapy didnt do it.
I dont blame anyone.The doctors did the best they could under the circumstances with what they had available. ive counted my losses and tried to move on with my life. The pain never really goes away, time just makes it a little more bearable.
Im sorry about your baby sis. Kpele!

I can only think that those who talk of snakes and elephants have never actually seen a foreskin?

If anything, a circumcised one looks like a snake, not one with a foreskin. How many snakes have you seen wearing a little hood over the top of their heads?
hehehehe! **wiping off tears of mirth **
good to know we still have people with their own share of dry wit! grin

@poster
I feel your pain. My brother was snatched from us by cancer cry cry he was a medical doctor (ironic huh?)
he was treated in nigeria by what was supposed to be the best doctors. with hindsight we should have insisted on treatment abroad. Nigeria's medical system leaves a lot to be desired. seriously the doctors may know what to do but the facilities are rubbish. angry

Christianity EtcRe: Two Women I Love Dearly Are Leaving Their Marriages by spoilt(f): 4:09am On Sep 25, 2007
maybe its just me, but i never really look up to men/women of God. people exalt them and put them on a pedestal like they arent human. They have their own problems. they are too busy giving to the parish to give to each other. cry
My marriage is where ive found happiness,great friendship, security and peace. I will not leave at the drop of a hat. I will not stay at risk to my life either. Its not easy to walk away from a marriage. when a person leaves a marriage its because seriously there's nothing left to salvage. undecided

There was a notorious witch in my room. Im seriously not making this up.(we had an episode in the students fellowship where the man of God had to pray for her for like 2 hours!)  she used to fly and stuff.

i was one of the girls who tormented her . we spread the word that she was a witch. Gosh! we told everyone that cared to listen that she used to have meetings in her coven and she used to torment us with nightmares.

she also had a bald spot in the middle of her head which she was able to cover up nicely .trust me, i told everyone about that bald spot.  grin  I remember i used to giggle with my friemds that it was from all the dead corpses she carried on her head to their meeting place to eat with her spirit friends. She also had bad breathe so we told people it was from all the fetuses she ate in her sleep. We would tell everyone in the dorm not to eat anything she gave them. I once drank garri she gave me and my tummy ached like hell for 3 days, She was a real witch.   shocked
am i sorry i did that? a little bit. im kind of sorry i took her spiritual struggles and made it into one big joke.  cry
wonder whatever became of that troubled girl.

FamilyRe: Marrying a Picture? by spoilt(f): 9:12pm On Sep 16, 2007
i went to this wedding. It was the weirdest wedding ever! The guy was abroad so the younger brother stood in for him. He had this big old portrait of his brother hanging on his neck. It was definitely a first for me. But this was a traditional wedding. nigerians can do anything without boundaries. I didnt know that you can do that in church or in court.

FamilyRe: Your Husband in The Labor Room During Childbirth? by spoilt(f): 12:43am On Sep 12, 2007
rachiwise:
Hi,

yes it would be great to have one's husband in the labour room(or so i wanted),until i read a piece in a newspaper by a journalist(a woman),that women should be careful what they ask 4 because it may be to their disadvantage.i didnt understand what she meant until she explained thatsome men after seeing their wives in that can of state(unkempt,foul mood, not too great state etc ),may not find her sexy again!!!

when i read this i thought twice o!After i carried the baby for 9 months alone (he only supports),so him being there would not neccessary add to the childbirth,because i would love to still be sexy to my Sweetheart o!!!
how can this argument hold water? Your husband doesnt have to see you in labour to not find you sexy. You can do that by just being unkempt and slobby!
TravelRe: Travelling With Black Magic Charms by spoilt(f): 9:53pm On Sep 09, 2007
this is one of the strangest threads. Black charms to get visa? please!
A relative of mine was told by a babalawo to bring N50,000 and a whole bunch of other stuff for a visa consultation. He was given an egg to throw on the wall. The baba said if the egg breaks no visa, if it doesnt you'll be granted visa. I'll just let you draw your conclusions here. I tire oh ! grin
