francisisking:Ok thank you |
seunny4lif:There is a complex dynamics to this Libya issue. I would have uploaded some information here but won't due to the sensitivity. The removal of Gaddafi was one of the worst decisions to make and military blunders in terms of warfare. Even the Europeans knew they messed up with that campaign on Libya because the effect is felt all the way in Nigeria and still spreading. Lemme just chip in this, Gaddafi had a serious economic leverage to pursue a particular ambition, with no concrete Intel to verify multiple angles of such ambition a premature action was taken with half baked analysis of the blowback. |
Mali was overrun by Islamic terrorist group in a matter of months and they called on france who used their air force to push them back into the sahel in a matter of weeks. Well France have played it part, let Mali take over from thks point and defend their country for themselves. |
francisisking:What is propaganda here? This straight out of europe context and our experience and why rule of law matters to us. You call us propaganda and rope in America with our affairs like it's america that runs affairs in europe. Read european history and you will see there have been conflicts amongst empires to Prussia, Austria hungry empire to ottoman empire to British empire to french empire to Russian empire to roman empire. Technically majority of you on this forum don't know jack about europe it's politics and it wars. You see evidence you can follow up and do research on but choose to be mentally lazy about it but still choose to tag it propaganda SMH. I am grateful to have met Nigerians at with higher intellectual capacity, who are one of the best set of people I have worked with. Just imagine if this forum was used to asses and judge the mindset of nigerians, it will be a total disaster. This forum is part of a wider research program because it tagged as a good sources for local content that measures the pulse of Internet users on a justifiable level. Thus the reason why I chose to engage, but it appears most people prefer to haul insults when they see your opinions differs from theirs. Wether Putin or Russia invades or not, everyone must know we always fight against our oppressors whatever shape or form it takes. Which is something that's seriously lacking in the African continent. All the best my random toxic Nigerian friends on a forum. |
Difrent:Like you rightly said they have moved in weapons into Ukraine, which puts Russia in a very difficult spot. Here is a history lesson for the emotional weak individuals with zero emotional intelligence. There is a Budapest memorandum on security assurance, Where UK, Russia, USA and Ukraine signed an agreement, the agreement was those 3 powers would respect Ukraine territorial integrity. In return Ukraine gave up 5000 nuclear weapons and more than 170 intercontinental ballistic missiles and several dozen nuclear bombers. America paid half a billion dollars for Ukraine to pass all these weapons to Russia to be dismantled. Ukraine gave up it means of deterring Russian aggression. Fast forward For one the Ukrainians themselves ousted their former president victor yanukovych, who was purely a Russian puppet in their eyes, because when he fled kyiv he later turned up in Russia. This meant Russia had shredded that agreement with Ukraine. After he fled the Ukraine parliament known as the Rada appointed an acting ministers and president, they wanted economic prosperity and proceeded to sign an association agreement with the European union. Just after taking this action armed men began occupying key facilities and check points on the Crimea peninsula. The whole operation showed all signs of professional soldiers, who had combat fatigues, Putin at first denied they were Russian soldiers and later admit that they were and awarded commendation to their commanders. Doesn't this tell you that Russia had no respect for the agreement and had planned 4 steps ahead in taking the country by force? It was shocking to the western partners and Ukraine, Ukraine couldn't take action because many enlisted men in the military at the Crimea garrison came from Crimea. Things moved quickly and by early March the Crimean supreme council voted to ask to accede to Russia, then proceeded to schedule a referendum on march 16. This referendum offered only two choices join Russia or return to 1992 constitution, which gave the peninsula significant autonomy. This was one of the fraudulent move orchestrated on the Ukrainians, because the ballot sheet had no box to tick for those who favored Crimea remaining part of Ukraine under the country constitution. Next thing local authorities reported a 83% turn out with 96.7% voting to join Russia. But how can that be possible when 40% of the Crimea population are ethnic Ukrainians and Crimean tatars? Leaked Classified report from Moscow, showed only 30% turnout with about half of those voting to join Russia. Crimean and Russian officials still proceeded to sign the treaty of accession and Putin ratified the treaty three days later. Making it one of the most illegal occupation, am European married to a Nigerian and all european wars in history have been triggered by a power gabbing land. Last intelligence shows a large number of ethnic Ukrainians and Crimean tatars have left the peninsula since 2014 and more than 250k including sailors and troops have move to peninsula directly from Russia. If this isn't ethnic cleansing then I don't know what else you can call this. Major economic project in the peninsula have been majorly infrastructure projects such as highway and rail road bridges that links of Crimea via the kerch strait directly to Russia. Crimea now a fully flagged Russian naval station that houses new submarines, surface combatants and combat aircrafts. Next move Russia have done is in donbas. This time the Ukrainian army were aware and are resisting, it is following the same script of minority Russian in form of militias supported by Russian military and it's proxy wagner group killing Ukrainians and them fabricating a referendum. Everyone knows and always talk of power corrupting and they fail to clearly see the unfolding in their eyes. Putin nurtures the dream of bringing back the Soviet union, but how's that possible when the nation's that broke off are not Russians and don't speak Russians? We in Europe see this as an expansionist move unfolding, if Russia succeeds in Ukraine next target will be the Balkan state and only heaven knows how it will unfold from there. The operation of arming Ukraine is important because the act alone will make Putin reconsider his actions, if in an event he pushes to invade then it will be bloodiest because millions of Ukrainians will die in the process of defending their father land and it's then the international community will have justification to get involved. To all those taking aim at america, you don't know how global politics works. Russia is the most powerful military in Europe and can only be checked mated to an extent by only france and UK due to their nuclear weapons. So yes having america by our side changes the entire dynamics, that even small country like mine can tell Russia to fk off or even expel their diplomats. It's because of America by our side we are able to punish subversive operations in our country. Without america only heaven knows what will be of my country. THERE IS A SECURITY ORDER IN EUROPE KNOW AS THE 1975 HELSINKI FINAL ACT and subsequent document that state BORDERS SHOULD BE INVIOLABLE AND NOT CHANGED BY FORCE, Russia act in 2014 SHREDDED this principle. At least you know you know one of the several reasons why US and Europe formed NATO, a leopard can never change his spot. |
NOETHNICITY:I hate to do this but I have to, you are stuck in a country where you wake up hopeless everyday. I come from a country that's very very stable, high standard of living with a powerful passport and can travel anywhere in the world. Just because frustration have been your day to day reality doesn't mean you will attack or transfer your aggression to someone you don't know. It's a forum where constructively conversation is meant to happen, if ones opinion differs, you counter in a constructive manner and make your points as to why it is so. No need for the insults, now go and reflect on your self because it too early, way way too early to be this frustrated. |
Simple fact is Russia's element of surprise was blown open. You spent millions moving warheads, soldiers and equipment and hardware to Ukraine borders from Belarus to the black sea only for you to now turn around and say to the world that you were joking? Putin had 3 different phone calls with Biden in which the 3rd one lasted for 3hrs and you now turn around and say you are bluffing? You literally signed a no limit cooperation with your superpower giants china, something that have never done before and you turn around and say you bluffing? Russia is the mother of psychological warfare but this time around the consequences of invasion was seriously weigh and rational steps were taken. For the west their arms industry made some good money sending weapons to Ukraine and for once France have taken the lead in finding a European solution for europe.

anonymous1759:You have the capacity to speak this constructively but chose to be emotional in your first response? Try put your emotions in check and you might just get a call on some projects. Am European by birth and have been in the mix of things on different diplomatic levels and capacity. Majority of times viewers on this thread are observers not only from Nigeria but across the world, I choose to engage because I work in Nigeria and connected by marriage. Not everything is black and white the way most of you think it's all about america and Russia. There was Europe before america and will continue to be Europe. The biggest threat to our existence is Russia, so if it means america fighting along side europe, we welcome it. A template for autocracy will see majority of African countries go into a very dark period, because the unity of nations is a mythical homogeneity amidst diversity. Just as it's seen in the Soviet era were hundreds of nations with different nations from Poland to Tajikistan was subject under Russian rules. Just as Macao, Hong kong ( who are Cantonese are wrongly identified as Chinese), eastern Turkmenistan aka Xinjiang who are of Turkic origin been absorbed into china and the list goes on. The west isn't a perfect Place neither does it run a perfect system, but the beauty is that the rule of law gives everyone to voice their dissatisfaction and if it's not been heard permits the oppressed to start revolution. |
anonymous1759:Look at the bright side my friend there are more advanced weapons in poland and other NATO countries that surrounds Russia. Even Finland that's Russia back door tho not a NATO country is now conducting patrols with NATO warplanes in certain airspace that would have caused Russia to be aggressive. Denmark have militarized one of it's island in case of an invasion, which is a close proximity to Russia also. it's sad how most thought process is seen as you evil you good, you bad and you that, rather than a chess game. Russia got Crimea but now have their military bases more exposed and contented with new operational areas of NATO. Finally listen to what you said about Russian speaking Ukrainians, who are a minority been used as an avenue to hold down an entire country that Russian isn't their official language. If you agree on that Putin stance then it just like hypothetical saying the Fulanis in your country can justify the take over of some parts of Nigeria just because they have a small section that speaks Hausa and fulafude. After all they are the fabric of the Nigerian armed forces and have the leverage to do this. Pockets of sublime insult shows one's level of maturity, which am sorry to say is not present. Learn to keep your emotions in check and be rational. The Russians and the west knows going to war is a zero sum game. Try read up on the zero sum game which is also known as game theory to get a deeper insight. Have a wonderful day my Nigerian friend |
I laugh at ignorant statement here, this is bad on Putin's image. Because he knew either ways everything was on him, what america succeeded in doing was arm Ukraine to the extent any invasion will be costly on Putin. The NATO allies stood their ground in his own backyard, as it is there is no more concession for Putin. Also what you all must know is when intelligence operations fail in achieving it's goal, it's when military action takes effect. This doesn't look good for Russian foreign intelligence SVR and its military intelligence GRU. Next action in line will be Crimea, Ukraine is the winner in this game all thanks to Western power standing their ground. Now china will be wondering how their planned invasion of Taiwan will look because as you can see, Russia whose primary focus have been projecting power didn't want to take risk. |
Please pardon my ignorance people. I have been hearing of late killings occuring for money purpose. Organ harvesting is known globally, there is medical route in which critical ill persons willingly donate their organs. While there is a black market for the trade which is quite big in Asia. I have done some research on the trend happening in Nigeria and I realize some cases doesn't involve organ harvesting but rather ritual purpose. Now my question is what is this ritual dynamics? When I asked my wife who is a Nigerian, she said it's a spiritual thing that gives people money. I was left even more confused |
zikter:I guess you are satisfied by making the point you have always wanted to make. Have a wonderful day my friend, I don't hate you. |
koyyess:You are very funny my friend I think you just read over what you wrote up there. Take time out and read it carefully, everything word for word. |
koyyess:Your bait won't work have a wonderful day my friend. |
zikter:Reasoning and comprehension my friend is important. Read it closely over and over again, doesn't it personalize what I wrote? Does the dynamics of what I wrote follow the full course as that of the narrator? Even at that, isn't the narrator entitled to his opinion? You all insult buhari for been a tyrant but it's clear that some of you are not different, that to me is hypocrisy. Doesn't democracy apply to Right of opinion? Or does it only apply to having access to social media? Well am glad china is in Africa and making head way because when their system have fully grown, it's when you all will appreciate others opinion on a subject. |
koyyess:If you read well I only mentioned elements of truth and I proceed to back it up with personal experience. just because the moon shines or doesn't shine doesn't mean there are no gases constantly reacting in it's atmosphere. I don't know if you are baiting for an online argument, but I will leave it at that because I have known some of you Nigerians to well to involve in something, that your comprehension failed to process. |
seunny4lif:You don't know the factor that plays into the policing system. I worked in the risk assessment unit for years in a European country, I don't fully know how the system in France works but we do have an OECD framework fusion center whereby security and intelligence matters are shared. One thing you should understand is that the threat to european Nations face high destructive threats from subversive elements to destructive elements. Just France alone from my last record there are active subversive elements from Russia interference, to china subversion to right wing operations that can send the country to civil war.. to Turkey underlying support for Islamic element, to active jihadist network to allies of autocratic nation's looking to divide the west. You have no idea what the western Nations goes through, it's the reason why we don't respect autocracy because we see them as cowards who just ropes in everything including human rights because they are not capable of putting out the elements mentioned above. |
I am sorry to say the narrator made some valid points. The importance of a lady aging in her husband house is a key point. I am 9 years older than my wife, prior to meeting her I never saw the need to settle down there were many variables I had in the back of my mind. As a mixed race residing in Europe I wasn't keen on settling with a white woman even though I dated them all my life. It was when my wife came for a training program in Vienna I crossed path, she was soo beautiful, her smile was crazily sweet and she has this caramel skin tone. I couldn't let the opportunity pass me by. I had to take a trip to rwanda because she was there for a sometime. When we married she was 24 and I 33, now we have been married for 6 years. I have met some of her friends who are still single and when she tells me their age am shocked they aren't married yet, because in europe most of us get married at 24-32years. That young factor played a role in my subconscious decision, there are times we get all crazy but it appears our love grows stronger every year. And one crazy thing is that she looks the same as the first time we met. |
seunny4lif:Utterly nonsense, you break the rules you do the time. A European police won't and will never intimidate a citizen or a foreigner. But in Nigeria it's the opposite, men in uniform here live their life intimidating who they have been mandated to serve and protect. Even if their is a racist official amongst the ranks in security outfits, the rule of law prevents them from materializing because they know the punishment. I am European married to a Nigerian, and I have resided in Nigeria and my country long enough to confidently say law enforcement agent here don't follow rule of law. It's for this reason I find Nigerians admirable because they survive daily with no form of protection. |
To be honest this is why I love about Osinbajo, he respects rule of law. Just the way he removed the former DSS director after his unconstitutional raid of elected officials. I still don't understand why another man is been propagated for the president over osibanjo. I may not understand the politics in Nigeria but I have resided in Nigeria for a reasonable amount of years to get a picture of the political landscape. |
Interesting |
This is a very good move from the Nigerian president. I honestly feel Nigerians especially the captains of industry don't follow rule of law, thus the reason for inducing external pressure on policies in the monetary and fiscal aspects. Even us been paid with our foreign standard wages notice the dynamics of inflation have on our wages. At least me and my family can simply leave for my country, but most Nigerians can't so they stuck and at the mercy of erratic economic policies. Solve the power issue and this country would boom economically. We just helped another foreign company relocate last month, 25 workers laid off just like that. I couldn't blame them because the cost of power for operations of the factory was eating deep. Although the staff were compensated very which was a good thing. |
Find it interesting that most Nigerians only looking at things from one view. I work within the international community and I will be honest majority prefer osinbajo because he's ticks many boxes. It's an amazing observation especially to those of us that are none Nigerians, watch how the name tinubu is been propagated. Majority of my knowledge about him is from my wife, who clearly I will say doesn't like and many government officials I consulted with, mind you most served with him and under him. He's a unique character. |
Very interesting topic, that should be used to sensitize Nigerians. In some cases characteristics that appear to be anomaly can be converted and used for a purpose. For example back in high school a close friend was been bullied by a well known bully. I subconsciously defended my friend by striking the bully severally, during detention he wanted to have a go and got same treatment. Fast forward to university, there were these headhunters from the military sector. I enlisted but during the assessment process they realized I had a unique mindset different from the entire applicants. This started my journey in the security field. Why am I saying all these? My dad always got mad at me because I hardly smile and was always drawn to myself, so they felt I had a disorder. But the fact was that personality had a layer it was covering, going through the security program unlocked it. Everything started making sense, from the bullies I took on back in high school to the nasty individuals. Assuming I listened to my parents opinion, that would have broken me negatively, which would have turned positive potential into negative ones. My advice is for people to take a psych evaluation test, it will go a long way to identify what part of the spectrum you stand. |
bepositive11:That included also, because I naturally started readjusting the default setting my mind had operated with for a while. But majority of the work starts with you the individual, it's why I mentioned the aspect of work.. when you working, meeting your goals and developing yourself. Coming home from work to an empty house, paying bills and living life just not fulfilling or exciting. This is what gives birth to the desire to settle down. |
To be honest I was in same shoe in my 20s but not as chronic as yours. Sometimes it's a state of mind, fear of the unknown that might be feeding your subconscious mind. What I will advice is that focus on your job if you have one and let the job be a source of happiness. As you progress and develop, the responsibility mindset will kick in. What you going through now is not really care or love but more like higher level lust and fun. Deep down you are not ready and also you see them as tho they aren't your responsibility. When you fall you will fall hard and won't believe it's this your same self, I am married now for 6 years and I take care of my lovely Nigerian wife as a delicate egg. |
Technically this is an open invitation to gunrunners. A point majority of nigerians miss, because they keep asking with what? Gunrunners are merchant of deaths, they don't care who they engage. There you have it Nigerians, if you can access it then you are in a good position to at least defend yourselves. The only problem is defending yourselves is that a different breed of men will be created. Killing is easy but living with it is the hardest, that difficulty fuels the desire and emboldens more. It's for this reason you see majority of these bandits are below 26 years of age. The art of war opens the minds to multiple dynamics that you never thought you had. One hand it's good to defend yourselves but on the other the Chaos it will cause is something not everyone is prepared for. I know for sure the Nigerian intelligence and security apparatus can win this war, it's just that the architecture especially on the intelligence side needs overhauling. |
ogk8082:There are two people on here marketing their gambling elitism, one shows the amount he uses while the other which is you, shows just the probability and results. I am asking myself if your probability format is as good as you say it is, why not include the amount risked? After all you appear to be a better risk taker since it comes off good majority of the time and it makes sense for many who don't want to engage with lots of cash. Your style comes across as the snake oil business man, give them Just enough to lure them in without knowing what the future holds. While the other is more on the side of this is how it's done and this is the reality of how this works in this rate race of gambling. With his screenshots he's made me see from one out of multiple perspectives how the gambling dynamics work. I don't know you or know if you display the amount used, but I will advise you reconsider your style of engagement to create credibility and trust. This thread is a very interesting one. |
Help2020:I never disputed you position, now you mentioned the location I kinda see the facts. My perspective was based on island mainly. |
Help2020:This is not true, it's most likely your sister is sharing the room or sharing the house. The ghettos of lagos won't go for that amount. I recently helped my cleaner pay for his rent recently and the price was 150k. Or most likely she's at the outskirts of Lagos. |
Bunnatex:The most reasonable comment I have seen regarding both of the greatest players in football era. |
Khaleepha5681:The point am trying to make is that it's not a perfect country but there is something about it that makes people want to love, hate it or destroy it. Which is why Africans and africa can work, build and create something better than America. |
