enyen:With all due respect that is a very ignorant statement. Please let's use facts when we making point |
This is what happens when China is in helm of affairs UNESCO is headed by a Chinese with 20% China labor within their ranks. couple of months back UNESCO attacked australia on its great barrier reef, but Australia pushed back because there was no evidence or basis that marine life around the reef was greatly reduced. We are heading into another type like cold war era, where all those institution will be isolated by the west. At least it's evidently seen the effects of global warming in the disastrous flood in Germany and scorching heat in usa and canada. China vetoed every plan to curb green house gas since a mechanism was developed in implementing a quota on coal plants. China knew that they have the highest amount of coal plants and therefore utilized the double standard status of developed and developing nation. They get to still receivie funds and have their way in building more coal plants. Do remember developing nation's are entitled to utilize coal till they transit to other forms. |
Oluwapresley:Send me an email via my moniker and I will get back to you. |
Oluwapresley:You can go through the private security consultant route. There is one located in Abuja and one in lagos, very professional in their dealings with clients. They have clearance to operate in certain capacity with an exception in arms engagement. |
DSS isn't bad but have it at the back of your mind that once you are in you are in for life even after retirement or if you leave. Also have it at the back of your mind that you would encounter some egotistic people from operations leads, to some department directors that would render your efforts useless. If you are high level entry technical personnel get ready to win the trust of operational guys in SOP and CI Also have it in the back of your mind that top foreign intelligence agencies always some how knows majority of personnels. Lastly get ready to follow false leads because majority of sophisticated criminals be it cooperate or individuals employ guys as good as those you serve. |
Ok |
Ytea:I am seriously scratching my head also. |
Faber:This is nice discovery Never knew in my entire years of being a Christian. |
Decency2020:Thanks for the pix |
samonak:Spot on I hope the airforce continue to gain useful insight into the battlefield. |
Please let's not go over board on sentiments. My time at certain agency saw the deployment to what is called very important personnel. Very important personnel doesn't apply to only government officials, wealthy influential persons are tagged under such. One may ask but why? It's all part of a wider strategy in an all inclusive sovereign security mandate. When you have the wealthy people by your side the chances of conflicts arising is limited because they have the financial strength. Won't go into too much details. Airforce special unit utilize such weapons, so also does the DSS and naval and special unit of the navy. Of recent the Nigerian police force developed a unit that utilize such weapon. |

I thought as much, te question is why should the alpha jet be flying that low? It's not designed for such operations since majority of the time it's tasked to clear bottlenecks during fierce battles. It's worrying because what that means is that helicopter gunship can easily be knocked out from the sky. |
Thank God he made back alive. There are couple of things we can deduce from this event that took place. Infiltration of bandits operational network haven't been achieved because there is heavy dependence on air force for intelligence gathering. This is done mostly from air Also the bandits capabilities is increasing because for them to be able to hit the jet it means they utilize surface to air missile which have the capability via heat sensor to break through the safety region jet fighters operate within when engaging ground enemies. If the latter stands true then the challenge is taking another dynamics because further acquisition of such weapons would mean the bandits would be able to create a killzone. A kill zone from air perspective is when bandits operates on higher ground such as rocky areas to gain a vantage point on any fighter jet or gunship aircraft. So a false flag is initiated to draw the ground troops into a combat scene, knowing fully well there would be air support. When the air support shows up they will go for the kill. The one efficient way jets can maneuver such surface to air missile is the use of gravity. That is heading into high altitudes to gas out the missiles. More must be done to counter the move of such weapons into Nigeria. There are very few in the black market and in very high demand. So the counterintellige unit of the army can deduce who's meeting meeting to make sales. |
CilicMarin:Shut up!!! |
Good evening all Measure taken to safeguard all citizens is in motion. Such measures have involved understanding the environment in which crime thrives. It's for this reason am here to make a request to all commuters, especially those commuting through the corridors from lagos to Edo, Delta and other southern states. Please I would love to know from commuters and drivers both private and public. How many potholes do you encounter when in route from lagos to Delta and vice versa. What areas are in terms of towns are they located in? Your contribution will be highly appreciated. |
This tracking can be done easily even with limited towers. The thing is it's one thing to track and another thing to send the man power We conduct round the clock operations for expatriate and have no jurisdiction within Nigeria. Sometimes hearing these crisis day in and day breaks my heart because the problem can be taken care of. |
It doesn't make any difference because they have been doing so for years now. I still wonder what happened to the 4 TB of intercepted calls collected within and neighboring nations over a 5 month period. The fact is intercepting without analyst analyzing and processing is complete waste of time. Also every vendor supplying the architecture follows a standard in terms of language algorithm matrix. Meaning the NIA would have to recalibrate it to accommodate langues along with their dialects and many other variables. And let's not even talk about the mismanagement problem that will eventually defeat the purpose just as it been for a while. It seems as time changes the more things remains the same |
It's essential we get facts right because singing to false narratives. The killing is most likely an internal job ordered by someone with deep pocket. |
Two U.S.-Haitian citizens are believed to be among 17 people detained in an investigation into the assassination of Haiti's President Jovenel Moïse, according to local authorities. Léon Charles, chief of Haiti's National Police, said on Thursday that the 15 others are believed to be Colombian - at least six of whom Colombia's government says are likely ex-army. We are going to bring them to justice,” the police chief said during the press conference, as the 17 handcuffed suspects sat on the floor nearby. He added that three other people had been killed and that police were still searching for eight more subjects. Colombia's government has not released the identities of the suspects it believes to be former Colombian soldiers, but has ordered the high command of the army and national police to cooperate in Haiti's investigation. “A team was formed with the best investigators ... they are going to send dates, flight times, financial information that is already being collected to be sent to Port-au-Prince,” said Gen. Jorge Luis Vargas Valencia, the head of Colombia's national police. Meanwhile, the U.S. State Department said it was aware of reports that Haitian Americans were in custody but could not confirm or comment. The Haitian Americans were identified by Haitian officials as James Solages and Joseph Vincent. Solages, at age 35, is the youngest of the suspects and the oldest is 55, according to a document shared by Haiti’s minister of elections, Mathias Pierre. He would not provide further information on those in custody. Solages described himself as a “certified diplomatic agent,” an advocate for children and budding politician on a website for a charity he started in 2019 in south Florida to assist people in the Haitian coastal town of Jacmel. On his bio page for the charity, Solages said he previously worked as a bodyguard at the Canadian Embassy in Haiti. Canada's foreign relation department released a statement that did not refer to Solages by name but said one of the men detained for his alleged role in the killing had been “briefly employed as a reserve bodyguard” at its embassy by a private contractor. He gave no other details. Wednesday's attack saw gunmen shoot Moïse dead inside his private residence. His wife was seriously injured and is currently being treated in hospital. As a result, interim prime minister Claude Joseph declared a state of siege in the country. Professional killers Bocchit Edmond, the Haitian ambassador to the United States, said the attack on the 53-year-old Moïse "was carried out by foreign mercenaries and professional killers — well-orchestrated,” and that they were masquerading as agents of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. The DEA has an office in the Haitian capital to assist the government in counternarcotics programs, according to the US Embassy. Moïse's wife, Martine, was in stable but critical condition and was being moved to Miami for treatment, Edmond said in Washington. The Dominican Republic said it was closing the border and reinforcing security in the area, describing the frontier as ″completely calm.″ It was a testament to Haiti’s fragile political situation that Joseph, a protege of Moïse who was only supposed to be prime minster temporarily, found himself in charge. But Haiti appears to have few other options. The Supreme Court’s chief justice, who might be expected to help provide stability in a crisis, died recently of COVID-19. Joseph is likely to lead Haiti for the time being, though that could change in a nation where constitutional provisions have been erratically observed, said Alex Dupuy, a Haiti-born sociologist at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. From my observation there are certain group of people pushing one narrative that supports the Nigerian government actions. On the other hand there are those who don't beleive the Nigerian government in any way. Three weeks of study showed the perceived pro government group have been quiet on this thread. The arrest of the separatist leader have given a new life to the pro government group, that in the last couple of days there have been an average of 5 threads out of 15 associated with the separatist leader. This thread in particular of seen a spike in pro government supporters occupy the first 2 pages something that have never been seen. My conclusion is there is a narrative war waged on this forum, which makes me wonder if it changes the reality on ground for Nigerians. |
Kenya is of late having a bad reputation for detecting foreign intelligence activities within its borders. MNK capture is the second in the space of couple of months Turkey carried out similar operations couple of months ago on a government critic

Interesting |
In essence police intelligence efforts are not efficient due to red tapes and interagency competition. Therefore let's utilize a vehicle that is in every nook and cranny of the state for intelligence gathering, since it would be cheaper setting up. My concern is the professionalism behind the neighborhood watch guys. From observation Nigeria is the only place everyone wants to be security official but don't wanna actually engage or confront criminal elements in a gun fight. |
Well it's sad situation, I don't know what to say. Just make sure she doesn't end up dead in your hands because there will be no place to run. This is a gaurantee |
News like this is welcoming Although there might be some potential blowback. The reason is because such news would indicate an informant for the military operating within the ranks of terrorist group. Since the terrorist groups run a close triangular form of operations and communication (That is in most cases news from one section doesn't filter to another section) A military spy might get caught in the web if he doesn't establish first how the communication runs within a terror group. Secondly the terror group might be gaming the military. Gaming them in the sense by passing on false information via locals or communication channels since they know they are under surveillance and monitoring. Thirdly they might be getting such news from super powers.. because when ISIS started their quest, intelligence framework was laid out ahead of time from Yemen through the horn of Africa to Sudan to West Africa ( because they existed the probability of ISIS operating in the African region)... So now they are now in Africa, it will be easy to monitor them. If you wanna kill a rat lay multiple traps in areas where the rat would pass through. The counter insurgency war needs to be won and one way of doing so is by beating the enemy in the area of information warfare. |
Very good development. if the narrative that it's soldiers from the south fighting in the North then there will be something interesting playing out. |
Generalwoodz:Tecno spark won't like this at all |
It isn't bad if the DSS takes over. What you guys should understand is that the DSS taking over indicates that no one is untouchable. Because if some vested interest were to use the police or military as leverage, the DSS are the ones capable of going after their inside man from those outfits with limited resistance. I believe some political move have been made to influence the case, thus making the DSS a better handler of the case. Those ask why DSS? apart from been the sole distributor of intelligence to other outfits to act on, DSS operations cuts across all board. There is a department that take up cases like this they are amongst the few that makes themselves visible along with operational personnel who guards VIPs and restricted facilities. |
Credible intelligence have it that crisis in Mali arid regions between herders and farmers was as a result of extreme change in weather patterns. Currently the arid regions are getting less water meaning that migration to areas with good amount of rain is important. Regions from Mali, through to Chad, Niger and northern Nigeria are not exempted. The Chad basin have experienced lower frequency of rainfalls than normal. When you put all these together we can see why the push for grazing route is just an artificial mechanism to fix migratory herders from other African regions who are now stationed in Nigeria. I used the word artificial mechanism because naturally migration is part of human survival, then we have peaceful existence of persons. But it's not in the case of Nigeria. All pointers in the current crisis have a deadly mix of what some might term conspiracy theory such as islamazation agenda, forceful take over of ancestry lands and few others. In every conspiracy theory there's always elements of Truth, it's for this reason I dont see the situation getting better soon in Nigeria. As it stands every form of democratic levers must be cautiously utilized since one party will disregard any rule of law because this is survival to them. While to the other party, as you beleive in rule of law you must also be vigilant and work towards creating frameworks to check mate the excess that would come from those who see their survival as essential. |
OdumegwuOjukwu:My brother is not fight, the sea is an essential component to any sovereign nation because it goes beyond just commerce. Study the middle East majority or 70% of development is along the sea. The nile river have caused skirmishes between Egypt Sudan Ethiopia all the way to Tanzania because they have equal access to river. Potential world war might happen from East Asia because China built three godge dams, which systematically cut off access some parts of India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Cambodia, thialand in fact all the cluster Asian countries located in the southern part of china from access the river flowing from the Himalayas. Lesotho that's landlocked gets access from the dams located in South Africa. As we can see access to sea is essential, yes there will be water basins and other water bodies but the sea is always essential. Thanks for your audience and I pray everyone fighting for something comes out victorious. Because human rights is essential. |
Gireiboy:It's under buhari, sorry |
topboss:Please let's tone down the rhetoric. Because if biafra is to be formed, they need the sea. Meaning access is only through the Niger Delta. Meaning everyone has a leverage in one form or another. There are lots of narrative peddlers on this forum, hell bent on creating further division. so when you speak, speak with objectivity |
