Woow! That's the best of all marriages. My wife is 3years older than me and wev bn married for two years now without any hitch. She so humble, patient, matured, caring, loving & the best woman I have met. Thou once in a while I feel so unsecure but she's just so caring and understanding. I must say that since we got married till date she always kneel down on her two knees to greet me in the mornings, welcome me with a deep hug when I return from work, unbutton my shirt then goes to dish my meal while I have a cold shower. Just look at kids talking trash...I have seen age mates marry each other and yet the woman later turns to look like the guys mum. My chaplain back then was the same age with his wife, I used to think she was his mother or aunt until it was finally announced, I could see the disappointment on people faces. Black men age slower than any species of human it is totally inadvisable to marry ur age mate let alone some one older than you. These boys will come up to say "It depends on how she package herself" they forgot that when the guy also "package" himself he looks way younger. I remember my classmate getting married then I checked the album and ask if she was his aunt or elder sister he quietly told me his wife ...I know why kids scream "Matured" ladies so that the ladies won't be taxing them and also she will be giving them some goodies! "Boys" don't confuse that with marriage biko...I once had an elderly lady as a friend the day she looked at me intimately was the day friendship ended! I can't even marry a lady I am 3yrs older than. BTW I have an issue I wish to bring to the attention of Nairalanders.

A mod banned me for 5days for using the word meagre to describe someone. I don't know how that is an abusive word.
Anways, as a reasonable fellow, I sent several mails to the mod explaining myself but got no response from them.

Now we blame our leaders for the misuse of power, yet it happens under our noses. (Cos the someone was a friend to the mod)

The reason for the 'ranting' is that I followed due process and mailed the mods severally which they ignored. So what's the essence of that option if it's as good as useless? Remember, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.


MODified: From the quotes, its obvious that this mod is very notorious esp in the politics section. Such a pity now that we risk being banned because we oppose the views of a mod or his GF(s) (don't think you are his one and only, madam). What has nairaland turned to? Such a shame. This diabolical act, if it persists, would reduce the quality of content here.

The mod is mynd44. The guy ehhh....truth be told I wonder how seun chooses his moderators cos left to me that dude is one biased fellow filled with sentiments...obviously he lacks objective reasoning. Although I have never been banned but when I look at people reasons for getting banned by mynd44 over a dispute with a supposed lady I always get surprised. Before you ban a fellow for insulting another fellow, you should also check if the insulted fellow has made inflammatory comments earlier inciting the other to insult him/her. You can also caution members before handing out a ban. But mynd44 lacks professionalism to the marrow. Thank God for davide470. At least he is one of the reasons why you can still have faith in a made in Naija online product....

why don't you just take the test, even if you are not interested? Its a free test. As long as you are still job hunting do not miss an opportunity to take a timed test. You can use ur score to evaluate ur self and keep ur brain in check. I even attend interviews I know I will reject the job offer, just to boost my confidence. I am not interested too but I have taken the test and will probably write the essay until the 10000 ish springs up...

It was just a simple interview. Tell about yourself and few questions from ur cv. The interview is short. After interview, I got medicals and documentation invite next day. It all happened this month

When I see people saying they are practising African traditional religion I begin to wonder what class of fools they belong to...these are some of the reasons why I believe they are useless

1 African gods didn't live to their expectations when our lands were invaded by the whites. We were conquered by foreigners in our own land. The whites came uninvited yet these gods stood like morons and zombies until its faithful became second class citizens in their own land.....what were the gods thinking? why didn't the gods act? Were they also scared of gun powder? Nonsense!!!

2. African gods are just as lazy as africans. If an African man enters the shrine without cleaning the gods strikes him with madness and death...yet those same gods were mopping when lugard et al trespassed all the sacred places even drank beer and roasted chicken in shrines...where were the gods? we're they scared of the europeans? What about the sacrifices offered to the gods (human sacrifice et al) the whtie stopped all these nonsense yet the so called gods did not complain...where were ifa, amadioha, sango, ogun etc when the invaders looted their so called place of abode?

3. This is reason is why I believe Africans served dead gods. The head of the benin gods and other spiritual artifacts are displayed openly and shamelessly in European museums yet the gods don't understand. If the perpetrators were black I am sure the gods will strike them and their generations yet they couldn't do poo because the perpetrators were white.....

Truth is I did the interview at stanbic HQ and the interviewers never said anything like contract..but I still have this doubt...it's client service officer. I was sent the job function as an attachment to the interview invite.( I have gone for medicals immediately after the interview)...is it a contract position? Are ppl in this position treated like trash? I asked about career growth, the woman said we will be exposed to trainings upon trainings and there is room for personal development...and one can apply for other internal position if you feel you meet the criteria.....I have 2.1, nd my blood still dey hot small...how much should I be expecting? do they pay other allowances to this position? I will appreciate your quick response...God bless...

Although during the interview It was stated that it was a contract position, neither did they say anything as regards contract. It is not a graduate trainee position either...could it be a contract position and they don't want to inform me?
