PK2000000 is not helpful in this case. It is extremely hard to address this issue without reading constantly from him. He accussed someone and he is no where to be found. Even in the thread he opened, he disappeared. I was expecting him also to post pictures and make comments but he is no where to be found.

How the heck are we suppose to assist him? It is like someone who has been badly beaten and calls for help and you decide to step up to defend him. While you are "gingering", guy don use two legs "speed out" of the arena leaving you and your God to face the Goliath. grin May we not carry another person's burden oooo. Na waooo.

Anyway, I suggest we just look for a way to still make sure we reach the end of this case. I am not saying OP is right or wrong but it looks like OP is dealing with "one kind" individual. I hope he comes online ASAP.
We cannot drink more panadol than the one who has the headache. PK2000000 with his two naked eyes, used his head to hit on a very hard rock. He developed a headache and started shouting "my head o, my head o". People have offered him all sorts of painkillers, one of which he has taken. If he is still having headache, then he will complain so that he can be given other treatment. If he is quiet, then it can be assumed that he has accepted the treatment he has taken so far, or that the treatment is working.

PK2000000 knows he did not use his head at all. Perhaps he is not one given to publicity. But it would have served us well to hear at least how he thinks his journey has helped in the resolution of his case. A coin with one side to it is a fake coin.

The noisiest people here on this Agric section are the non-farmers. Na dem sabi make noise and issue instructions upandan. Tomorrow they are the ones who get lured by these glorious "farm for me" schemes. Farming by proxy indeed!

Until you enter bush, get beaten by sun and rain, and perhaps kill a snake or two in your farm, you have no business in agriculture. Even the Chairman of Azman group of companies was pictured riding a bike in his farm.

This quote is from the thread where the OP of this thread was accused of cheating. Lesgupnigeria wrote there that In order to recover for the losses, early this year (April/May),we had to start replanting those lost acres so that we can be able to meet our target which we did successfully. . This is November. I am not a farmer but I do not think the cassava in those pictures are up to 6 months. Can any cassava farmer verify that 6 months old cassava plants can be that small?
Perhaps you can enlighten those of us who are not cassava farmers how to use the number of stems and length of branches to estimate the age of the plants.

Neoteny:
One of the factors responsible for the reckless chase of filthy lucre is the new senseless need to flaunt lavish lifestyles, no matter how fake or unsustainable, on social media. And this is because of the nigerian mentality that you're worthless unless you're filthy rich.

No thanks to our yeyebrities who surprisingly are all billionaires buying cars and private planes every hour, even the ones who've never released a single worthy song or acted in any blockbuster movie that earned hundreds of millions.

They imprint on the gullible youth (eg Airforce1) who'll suddenly develop the misguided prayer point "baba god pick my call", forgetting how hard it is to be rich and how easy it is to steal it or fake it.

And the end always justifies the means in the minds of these deluded fools rushing headlong into a long and dangerous road of get-rich-quick-without-honest-work irrespective of the potentially dire consequences.

Meanwhile our girls, even the ugly and done-for ones, just want someone to magically appear from thin air, give them cars, marry them in a lavish wedding, give them more cars, take them shopping to dubai and paris, and give them even more cars.

No one wants to work hard to earn a decent living to be proud of. Everyone wanna get rich overnight..

All for the mighty Instagram.

And Daddy Freeze wonders why conmen ooen churches and demand tithes.

Well you tithe-giving fools parting with your meager income for your pastor to make you rich:

the richest man in Africa ain't a christian.

Bill Gates is an atheist.

Larry page is an atheist.

Steve Jobs was a zen buddhist.

Warren Buffett is an agnostic.

Mark Zuckerberg was raised jewish, became an atheist, and is now a buddhist.

Michael Bloomberg is jewish.

Larry Ellison is an agnostic jew.

Wang Jianlin is atheist.

Jack Ma is agnostic.

Mukesh Ambani is hindi.

What do these people have in common? They're among the richest men in the world.

I guess your god is very carefree about blessing people who don't even believe in him.
You non-tithe paying fool, who told you that we pay tithes to become rich, or that riches are made from paying tithes?

Is riches all that a man can aspire for in this world?

How can a church have 4 private jets, several Universities and all their buildings are massive. Now they are building a 15,000 unit estate. Thats like four times the number of houses in Festac. Is it a Church or an incorporation. I was once visited Covenant Univeristy with a neighbour and believe you me even OAU is not as beautiful and well organised as that school.

So what has the Nigerian government provided to account for all the taxes, National Housing Fund, Pension fund and other deductions that they have made since 1960? You are crazy for insinuating I am defending the accused. If you cannot read, get someone close to you to go through all my posts here. How many times has the OP even come here to provide updates of what is happening so that people like you can stop yacking about? I want these "farm for me" schemes out of Nairaland because there are many more OPs who are guided by greed to the point where they cannot do basic due diligence.

OP has travelled to Ogbomosho. In case you don't know, Legsupngeria has opened a new thread in which he called the accusations against him "false". Yet you are here talking of whether the grass on the farm has been cleared or not. How does the grass in that cassava farm we are being shown provide settlement of this issue or prevent such things from occurring again?

People like you are derailing this thread with stupid and irrelevant comments. Is the proper thing not for the OP to come here to provide an update from his own angle? Should that not be what YOU should be talking about? You are more concerned with grass. How do you know that farm with grass shown in the picture is even the one shown to OP in Ogbomosho?

The step son started school now under my roof cos he's just a year plus now close to 2. I just discovered the surname the mother used to register the boy is her real dad that they never lived nor stay together. What should i do? is this really true love or i'm fooling myself? I've been taking care of this boy for more than a year now and this is happening.

Please, what should i do? Thanks and God bless.
The boy has to answer his father's name. This is what you signed up for when you accepted to take in the woman withall her baggage. For better for worse. Just that many of you do not know what "for worse" means or are not interested in knowing until it starts to manifest.

Apparently, OP did not do his homework well and you are right. I do not think you support the accussed with your posts because I deliberately checked all again. What I saw in your posts is a clean intention. You were just hard on OP. Maybe he truely deserves it. grin

Anyway, my main reason to quote you is the bolded statement in your post. Like you said, there is no shortage of farm hands there; however, in SW, SE and SS this is the major problem. Experienced farmers have serious challenges with this issue too.

1. Is it possible you throw more light into getting faithful workers from the north who will move to SW, SS and SE?

2. Or better still, can you teach us how best to handle and pay northern farm workers?

3. How best can we get them? Any reliable network?

4. Any contact you can provide? You may not want to release the contact here but if you ask me to shoot you a mail for direction on this, I can.

Thank you very much.
I can only suggest the method I use very well. I am a specialist at going to places I don't know, and I ask questions. For instance, I was looking for a maize shelling machine. So I took a drive, stopped somewhere, and asked questions. I was directed elsewhere, and I went there and asked questions. Then I was directed to a rice mill, and I asked questions. From there, I kept driving until I saw a trailer with men bagging shelled maize by the roadside. I stopped, approached them and asked questions, then one of them took me on foot to a building where a maize shelling machine and dryer was located. A few days later, all my maize was shelled. From knowing nothing and nowhere, I located a place to shell my maize. While the shelling was going on, I started to engage the workers there in discussions about dry season farming. Now I have almost 10 hectares close to a river to do this, and have got directions on where to hire workers and a tractor. That's how I operate a network. Someone somewhere will surely know something about what I need. I just need to keep asking and seeking and I get my answers.

Sometime earlier this year, I put up a post on where to get a maize planter. The initial quotes I got were too high, so I hit Alibaba.com for some hours of serious browsing. In 24 hours, I got a Chinese company that sent me videos of their products, and I made my choice and two weeks later, my maize planter was in my hands.

What is the point of my long epistle? Sometimes people need to step out of their comfort zones into the world of the unknown. Jesus said in Matthew 7 verse 7: SEEK AND YE SHALL FIND. I am a master seeker. I ask boatloads of questions from several sources. Sometimes, I just wake up and start driving all over town looking for what I want until I get it.

I personally do not like to recommend stuff or people, because my experience with anything may not be your experience. Sometimes, you need to seek stuff that you want by yourself. But I can tell you this. If I had a farm in the SE, I would not be thinking of bringing workers from the North. It is impracticable in terms of logistics and cost. I would rather go to nearby villagers to recruit farm hands and as much as possible, mechanize most of the work to be done so as to cut labour costs.

As for farming in the South South where I come from, I am sorry to say I would not consider it. Our youths are too lazy and prefer free oil money to hard work done with hands. The SW has lots of farm settlements. If I were the OP, I would have travelled myself to areas where there are identified settlements, and then sought audience with established and experienced farmers like Africanfarmer Mogaji on the way forward.

My 2 cents.

Good summary of discourse, the lesgupnigeria guy is a scam, you don't just embark on a project and nit have a schedule of activities to show that really the project really exist, the guy could not produce pictures of burnt fam till date and he has some group of minions trying to derail the thread in his favour, these guys are network of a PONZI farm scheme that takes people's cash with the pretence of engaging in farming activities.with mouthwatering ROI, if by now the OP. has not gotten any concrete payment plan from legsupnigeria it's just unfortunate the way we Nigerians behave in business transactions
Can you explicitly state who these "group of minions trying to derail the thread in his favour" are? Is there anyone here who has supported what Legsup has done? Perhaps you should indicate explicitly.

I maintain my stand: the OP did not do his homework and he fell for the "farm for me" stuff. There are many of these scams all over the agric thread and I am of the opinion that all such schemes should be banned and taken off the thread. Anyone who wants to farm should farm for himself or engage local hands to do the job.

The Northern part of this country is an agrarian society and there is no shortage of farm hands there. That is how some of us (including me) recruit farmers to till our land and we take steps to ensure that we get value from our land and labour. Personally, I already have seed sources from three different companies for dry season farming. I can't tell you the efforts I put in to secure these resources.

Agric is not something you throw money at, sit in your house and expect to get millions. Those offering "farm for me" services should also know this and stop deceiving members of the public and painting agric as a one-way street to money. It does not work like that.

Can we just ban this Lesgupnigeria guy once and for all? Even his goons that were supporting him have gone quiet. Including the one that uploaded picture of people sitting down jejely, claiming it is Lesgupnigeria's farm and those that tried to derail the thread by accusing another person of fraud. Na God go punish all of una wey dey support bad thing. Now that other victims are speaking out they have lost their voices. It is only a bloody crook that will prefer to type long stories when asked to just provide evidence. After stealing 2 million Naira from just one investor, he cannot leave fraud and settle down with that money. Still going round duping other people. Awon ole, oloju kokoro. Keep stealing money other people are supposed to use to train their children and be using it to train your own children and watch if those children will end up well. If you steal from a jobless person, you can definitely steal from the elderly (if you are not already doing that). One day you will go into one of those your scam farms and lightening will just strike you dead. Thief.

But una sef wey carry money give this guy, una try o. Una no see hin DP? See as he be like wetin dem rescue from kidnappers den and una carry big money like that dey give am. If he was really making money from farming, you should see evidence of good living in him.
Listen,
If we have accusers who are also accused of doing the same thing as Legsup, they will be called out, and I am referring specifically to Jethro2. We have people here who have accused her of the exact same thing. How does that derail the thread? Is it not better that we put them all in one place so we know them before they crawl up somewhere else?

That is why instead of singling out one person, the mods should rather put a complete ban on anything that smacks of a farm management thread. Simple!

The SUPER EAGLES worked hard and it paid off.
I believe that if we have the quality the Argentines have without Messi, we'd have won by a larger margin.
With or without Messi most people expected Nigeria will not win.
Thank you. What has Messi ever played since he started facing the Super Eagles? In 2010, they won 1-0 with a goal that should have been disallowed. In 2014, they won 3-2 after the ball hit Roho on the knees and rebounded into the net. Argentina is not superior to Nigeria in football. They have never beaten us by a margin wider than 2 goals, and they have never put 4 goals past us. We have done that twice, and this one with De Maria, Otamendi, Aguero and co all playing.

Anyone that wants to invest in such schemes should do so offline so that if there is any gbege, they will handle it by themselves offline. Many people here claiming to be saints will not do any better than Legsup. Even the foul-mouthed woman claiming to be Mother Theresa of Saki has allegations she has not addressed.
