Qsscruz: I just hope the order was not given to Nigeria Navy because if it is, the man should not rejoice beacuse not even a kobo would be coming to him.. This country is scam..Nothing works here. Truth be told this is really a zoo.. Even the animals would be laughing at us.. In 2010, a court order was procured mandating the CBN to deduct N2bn from the army's allocation to pay UBA money that the army owed the bank. A similar order was obtained some time ago to pay a victim of brutality. So this is a very simple process. The court can mandate CBN to deduct this amount from the Navy's allocation to pay the victim. |

Samsimple: Not only the pastor but the entire congregation at times. I am not against pastors using a tablet, rather replacing the physical bible with a tablet in the pulpit
As the pastor enters the pulpit to bring the word of God to the people of God, no hard copy of the bible is found in his hand, gracing the top of the podium visible to the entire congregation as the book at the center of attention, instead the congregation sees a tablet.
I believe there are several potential dangers this subtle shift generates.

lalasticlala felixomor bloodofthelamb butterflyl1on butterflylion fleewpeed You do remember that there was a time when the scriptures were read from scrolls. How would it have looked if you went to church with a massive scroll, one each for each book of the bible, meaning you would have carried 66 scrolls? |

I hate seeing soldiers stoop so low. Was all that training at the NDA Zaria just for packing refuse for bloody civilians? Go and study what soldiers do in other countries when there is natural disaster and other stuff. If you are a soldier, you are a disgrace to the uniform. But I doubt you are one because you do not even know the location of the NDA, or where junior and senior div is done (the Command and Staff College) as well as the 325 Ground Training Group. |

HungerBAD: Interesting.
My advice is simple. The parents rushing to pick up their kids from school, believing the military wants to inject their kids, should also enrol in the same school with their kids, after all these drama.
It shows they not only lack common sense, but that they too like their kids, needs some formal kind of education.
What does the military stand to gain harming the citizenry?and just like i told somebody yesterday. You will think with the constant complaint about the Military in Nigeria, that it is only populated by the Northerners and that there are no other tribes inside.
Anybody that has lived close to a Military formation/base knows the military conduct these exercises to civilians from time to time. From free Vaccinations, to checking of BP to eye treatments and one time they even shared Condoms along the streets.
But no,Buhari is President and wants to kill all Southerners.
Some years ago. I think Goodluck Jonathan was the President then(i stand to be corrected), 84 Northern Kids were killed when a fake teething medication(MY PIKIN) was sold to their parents who gave their kids to consume.
A Yoruba man (Adeyemo) and an Edo man (Eromosele)were both convicted and sent to jail for it. I did not read anywhere that Jonathan was trying to kill Northerners, since the makers of the drugs are Southerners.
We should stop viewing everything this Government does as evil. It is not healthy for us.
Mynd44 and Lalasticlacla what is your opinion? Do you just throw men and women in combat fatigue into schools with needles for them to be unleashed on kids? Have you not heard of the world "sensitization"? One moment you are shooting people in Abia, next moment you are in schools with needles. How does that sound and look? |

dewale1234: Dear Farmers
I planted a plot of ugu 60 x 100 feet and they actually did well. My wife brought some people to harvest/buy at first cut and everything came to N10,000. We spent about N100,000 on this project.
It is so disheartening and discouraging. Is this how it is at first cut? My farm is fully fenced around Ifo? How do i go about it the next time?
I feel so sad now
Any suggestion on how to add fertilizer and market at the next cut?
cc @FarmTech @Pavore9 @jasper7 @world1 I am not an ugu farmer but I thought I read somewhere that ugu replenishes itself in 2 weeks and it can continue that way for some time, thus you can make money every 2 weeks from existing plants. My info may most likely be wrong. Like I said, I am not an ugu farmer. |

Agriculture › Re: Herbicide To Control Weed In Maize Farming. by stagger: 12:16pm On Oct 11, 2017 |
happybrother: You are twisting the presentation to be against the Jubaili guy. Have you based the customer how he used the product. For example I supplied palm seedlings to a customer who gave them to his workers to plant. They planted without removing the seedling bag or worse removing the base. Now will the customer blame me when he had done the deed?. This is the problem with Nigerian businessmen. They are only after collecting your money and don't care about continuity of the business relationship by after sales service. If customers used your product wrongly and call out your company, it is in your interest as the company owner or salesman to address the issues and correct the customers POLITELY, not avoid their calls or start blaming them and calling them names. THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT, even when wrong. You have to call the customers privately and address any concerns. Now only will they keep buying from you when the issue is corrected, they will recommend others and your sales will increase. I cannot tell you how many new businesses and increased sales I have got from this approach. Don't just wave the customer off after collecting his money. Address any complaints about the product promptly. That person you supplied seedlings to today may be in a position to request for seedlings to supply for thousands of hectares tomorrow. Even if he or his workers made the mistake, you think he will buy from you with the approach you are insinuating in the bolded statement? |

Agriculture › Re: Herbicide To Control Weed In Maize Farming. by stagger: 7:39am On Oct 11, 2017 |
Donpuffy: Guardforce belongs to nicosulfuron family. Nicosulfuron kills all weeds but leaves only the maize. It affects the weeds through the leaves, stems and roots. It is not harmful to maize at all. Though you may experience yellowing of the maize 3-5 days of application but it will disappear by the 2nd week of application. I guess the yellowish coloration was caused by either overdose or short of rainfall at the period.
So I recommend you apply 70-80ml of the guardforce to a 16litre sprayer. 100ml can be too much.
Also, spray the chemical when you're sure of rainfall. Atleast it should rain 3-5days after application. Glad to hear this. However, the sales rep should have come out to defend his product. He would doubtless have made more sales. |

hoopLA: Unfortunately, FIFA has set the wrong precedent in ordering a replaty of the SA-Senegal tie.
Thus anyone with any kind of grievance will feel they need justice.
Apparently the mistake made in disallowing the goal isn't enough to invalidate the tie, since the SA-Senegal tie appeared to be heavily one-sided in terms of officiating. The Ghanaian referee of the SA-Senegal match was found to have been involved in match fixing. There is a difference between a human error, and a deliberate action intended to sway the result of a match so that betting syndicates and bookmakers can make money. What the Ghanaian referee did is no different from insider trading which gets company executives long prison sentences in the US. So no precedent there. |

Donpuffy: Hi, I used guardforce for my maize farm of 4 weeks old, less than 30cm. The maize has turned yellow. What could have happened? Its been 5days I sprayed the guardforce. I used 100ml per pump. Or it will turn yellow before it picks up back? I am surprised that the sales rep of Jubaili Agrotec whose post appears right before yours has not come to address this issue. Afterall, GuardForce is their product and is supposed to be a selective herbicide (Nicrosulfuron). |
