GavelSlam: Please don't embarass yourself.
The US produced almost 20 million barrels of oil per day while at our peak we produce 2.5 million barrels.
They also experienced fuel shortages this year though this was due to Hurricane Harvey.
Fact is even the US has suffered fuel shortages. The shortages occurred as a result of a natural disaster. Which natural disaster do we have here? All our problems are man-made and that is what is most annoying. Even power was restored in Houston and other affected areas within a week. It took major threats from my estate to get AEDC to repair a damaged transformer after three weeks of darkness, and we paid money for some components of those repairs. Is this a country or a jungle? Even a zoo has some semblance of order! |

A Japanese or South Korean caught in corruption would prefer to commit suicide to wipe off his family's shame. That is how much morality is valued in those societies. |

Aniwhyte: Sorry bro, this was exactly what my dad passed through before he died of bp, ur own is even better, same thing am passing through now, since mid 2015 till date me that used have different calls every now and then, with the handwork i learnt, but not anymore, all my customers have started complaining that there is no money, i remember very well that there was a time last year that i used to eat 50 akpu every day for more than 4 months it's sold for three #50 i will eat one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening without any single soup, just so i will not die of hunger, sometimes if i managed to have 80# i will buy bread and makes sure i eat it 3 times in a day, i could also remember that i was doing almost free work, just so i could eat, all my problems started mid last year when i stopped having calls for work i learnt, but i thank God that this year is a little better than last year am fine now. although i voted this govt, and i cried so much tears of joy the day Buhari was announced winner, although i regret everything now, but there are some evil beings who still wants this man to continue ruling and causing havoc on nigerians.
Before Buhari came to power:
I was buying a bag of rice N7,500 but later N23,000. Now N16,000. They said its for my own good, that local farmers are now very rich! I was buying a bag of Semo N1,550 but later N3400. They said it is just to ensure food sufficiency!
I was buying fuel at N87 per liter, but later N145. Now currently selling from N280-400 They said it is just a temporal hardship for the nation to move on!
I was paying 1,000 NEPA Bill, but later N5,000, they said it is to ensure steady electricity!
I was buying a pack of sugar at N250 but now N500. They said I should thank God for this government!
Sanusi raised alarm about missing $20 billion during GEJ administration, later reduced it to $10 billion, the nation was agog. Under Buhari Kachukwu raised alarm of misappropriation of $26 billion, no reduction but he was asked to go and reconcile with Baru and story ends! Naira was 178 to $1 under GEJ administration ,but under Buhari administration it went up to N500 to $1 and now exchanging for over N306 to $1 and we are told the economy is the focus of this government! HoS raised alarm that my president was aware of Maina's return but choses to be quiet, no denial, yet, no reason was given to Nigerians for that!
We used to have presidential media chat in which d president keeps citizens abreast with what's happening, we only had it once under this administration and no reason is given for the alienation of the citizens!
Almost 3 years gone, no single project has been commissioned under a government that has the highest history of budget in Nigeria!
I can go on and on...but, my challenge is that, people keep saying that PMB is the best thing that ever happened to Nigeria, even when this is not his first time in government. I am yet to be convinced." APC AND BUHARI NA SCAM. You are getting exactly what you paid for. At least some of us were alive to see what PMB did in 1984-85. Now here we are as adults to see the same stuff being repeated in more ways than one. At least then, there was nothing like fuel scarcity. |

princeade86: something must wrong with anyone thinking fela died frm HIV. if he died from HIV, why are all his wives are HIV negative. His brother, Olukoye Ransome Kuti, former health minister under Babangida from 1985 to 1993 (the only minister who was never reschuffled or removed) was responsible for his brother's care. Fela was tested and his results were known to the family. Ransome-Kuti was the one who read the statement announcing the cause of death. This is not about whether anybody "believes" what Fela died of. His cause of death was scientifically proven and announced by his own brother who was a world-renowned medical doctor. xest: Go and sit down oga. From your post and Bible references you lack adept knowledge of Christ Jesus. The woman in question put her offering and that was her last penny. (freewill offering) Now christ was looking at d heart not what is left. He said from the bottom of her heart she gave all that she had....... That penny is equivalent to 2 naira now. So christ was moved by his faith, heart and willingness to give even the little she had.
About buying a private jet for ur pastor. I see many of u r beclouded by there brainwashing. Instead of u to tlk abt helping the poor with such money, u buy a jet for a pastor to use and fly for pleasure and tourism. U mentioned apostle Paul saying something about collecting money, that money oga is for those who has nothing amongst the brethren, the widows, orphans and ministry upkeep.
This was the same argument by Judas. The bible records in John 12 verse 6 that he said it not because he cared about the poor, but BECAUSE HE WAS A THIEF, STEALING FROM THE MONEY BAG WHICH HE KEPT ON BEHALF OF JESUS AND THE OTHER DISCIPLES. We all know the motivation behind the bolded statement many of you make. many of you have never given a poor person more than a folded, filthy N10 note. Have you yourself paid anyone's school fees or JAMB form in your life? |

In my church, we pay tithes and use it for the good samaritan Sunday. We feed the poor, bail out civil servants who are being owed, tar street roads and give scholarships.
I pay my tithes, I give to the poor and I donate to an orphanage near my house consistently. Best of all, my business this year has made more profit than my earnings from 2012 to 2016 combined, so my tithes have increased and will continue to increase until Jesus comes.
Lest I forget, my Bishop and his pastors use a private jet. Oya, daddy freeze and other haters, go and spike your heads into the nearest transformer. |
